There has not been consistent hot water in my building for 2 weeks! If you speak with the office they tell you they are working on it when in fact there are no workers anywhere on property doing anything about the problem. There’s trash on the property that hasn’t been removed for 3 weeks. This place is a renovated dump!
Lisa CruiseIs not that much of a great landlordShe lies all the time..There are several times about the assigned parking she said there was no assigned parking yet we all have tow truck cards to call if somebody parks in a parking spot that theyre not supposed to does this not make any sense to you?..Ive lived here for almost 2 years now yeah the maintenance. Everythings great but....with those homeless people coming in and out of here the homeless people walk through here almost every day they have made holes in the fences which is not been repaired by the landlord does not want to do anything about anyting she holds favoritism theres people parking in other peoples parking spot claiming that they are theirs and they are not.. Do not live here if want good liveingThe rentis allmost 1000 a month not worth it at all.. There Tenants that fight all the time hereAll the way up until 2 and 3 in the morning the landlord does nothing about it this is not a good place for anybody to live dontcome here.
Lisa Cruz and Maintenence is some of the best service Ive ever had at an apartment complex. They work with you and get things done. I definitely recommend renting here. Also manager Lisa Cruz is great with communication and very accommodating and understanding she deserves a raise like seriously. Definitely check out The Tides on 17th guys!...you wont be disappointed
If you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a bedroom filled with cockroaches this is the place for you! Only cold water though if the water is even on at all! Don’t bother asking management anything because they will have zero answers for you! Worst decision I have ever made moving here.
I was interested in moving here, but after I went to visit the place I don’t like it specially the service is really bad, just because I’m a young adult doesn’t mean I can’t afford a place to live, besides the prices are not good for the area too much crime and homeless people around
Rent is very high!! Water issues, 13 days of the month.. there are BETTER options..
There are zero tides here. Not even an ocean or a scoop of laundry detergent. Lame.
Hood but its all good
IGNORE THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS!!!! PLEASE READ THIS before you make any kind of decision about Tides on 17th. I AM A CURRENT TENANT, I moved in on October 2nd. I am a Social Media Marketer by profession, but for some reason I didnt look at the reviews for this complex before I came and looked in person....Im very glad I didnt, because I probably wouldnt have given it a chance if I had. The complex has new owners, a new management company (The Robinson Group) and new in-house management staff (Lisa Cruz, Manager, and Lakeisha Dyer, Assistant Manager). My experience from the moment I walked in to look at the complex has been nothing but positive. I have been treated with respect and caring by both Lisa and Lakeisha. I needed to move fairly quickly, and Lisa and Lakeisha went above and beyond to get me approved and able to move as quickly as possible. The owners are completely remodeling apartments as they come open, and I moved into a beautifully remodeled apartment. The stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer, bathroom, flooring and paint were all brand new and sparkling clean. Im going to address some of the issues I read about in the previous reviews. PEST CONTROL: I have lived here almost 4 months, and I havent seen one single bug, so I can only assume that the review about roaches was from the previous owners and management. We have pest control monthly. Lakeisha sends out a text to all tenants saying what day they will be here, and if you want them to service your apartment, you respond to her text and she schedules it. MAINTENANCE ISSUES: Since I moved in, Ive had 2 minor maintenance issues .The Robinson Group has a very cool app that Lakeisha showed me how to install on my phone on the day I moved in. With the app, I can always see my monthly charges, broken down and in detail, I can pay my rent through the app, and I can schedule my own maintenance requests. The app notifies me when Management has been notified of my issue. It also tells me when to expect the work to be done. IN BOTH CASES, MY ISSUES HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY RESOLVED TO MY SATISFACTION WITHIN 8 HOURS. I noticed that the review that talks about maintenance issues says that his emails werent being answered..... he would probably get a response if he took the correct steps to get his problem resolved. If you use the app for maintenance requests, based on my experience, youll get a timely response. WATER/UTILITY BILLS: I have no idea what that review was about. My apartment is UTILITIES INCLUDED. So, the person who wrote about being charged $100 for water is either talking about the old management and owners, or thats a bogus review.I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH TIDES ON 17TH. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is VERY responsive and helpful, as well as just nice to talk to. I love my apartment, its spacious, my appliances are all brand new, I have lots of closets, and the walls seem to be pretty thick; I very rarely hear noise from any other apartments. The complex is very quiet at night. I like having my utilities included with my rent, and it saved me on move in costs. Lakeisha sends out texts to all residents when needed, so Im aware ahead of time if the water or electricity needs to be shut off in a particular building due to apartments being remodeled, and for workers safety, Im aware before the fact and I plan accordingly. It’s never for long. If there are any issues, there is always someone in the office during office hours, Ive never gone there and had there not be. Maintenance staff are always on site, they are here every day.If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, spacious apartment with beautiful grounds that are well maintained, and with a management staff that really cares about their tenants and the complex, please give Tides on 17th a chance. Tour the complex, meet Lisa and Lakeisha, then make your own decision. If you move here you won’t regret it.
Confused and confusing tides in 17th is very south of anywhere. Maybe the rents are really cheap I never bothered to ask. It seems an affliction a phoenix in general that a large portion of uppity people are in control of most of the property management. So I took a short-term lease somewhere else altogether. And I hope itll find the actual people that own actual places in this actual City. Its hard to believe that the fifth largest city in the United States, when only three people own all the property management. Come on in
My best friend apartment is infested with roaches, has their air vent hanging on by one screw, has mold and paint is peeling off the walls. They had a work order in place for over a year but have the audacity to say my friend is at fault and is charging them a $19 fee for a five day notice (not allowed in the city we are in). They are also trying to switch to have the tenants get their own electric but still charging a $50 fee (also not allowed in the city we are in).
Based on a conversation with Jessica regarding property details she was very patient knowledgeable and professional.
Just moved into to my new apartment 3 weeks ago. I love my new apartments. The complex is clean and quiet. Management staff is wonderful. They take there time to answer any and all questions you may have. They Thank you Jessica and Misty for your superior customer service.
Crime apt.they dont care WHO they rent too.dirt bag area.dont live hear or in that area.
Scammed Jessica and the new office manager they have are trying to scam me on a monthly basis I hate it here and I cannot wait to leave please I beg of you never move here
I absolutely love my new apartment. It is so quiet and clean. The office staff is so super friendly. Misty was so super helpful. The grass is beautiful💚 I will be very happy here with my fur babies!! Thankyou guys!
I had a wonderful experience, the girls in the front office were friendly and very helpful. They were very informative and made sure to follow up with me. The property itself looks beautiful and is well kept. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new home here!
Bella Solano is great! Misty and Jessica were very helpful they made my moving in process really easy. Theres a lot of green grass to make you forget youre in the desert! I highly recommend :)
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I lived there almost 3 years ago and I had to break my lease after only living there 6 months. I got diagnosed with Scabies and it turned out some tenants had Scabies and bed bugs too. It was a nightmare! cost me thousands of dollars to get rid of the scabies. And I was new to Arizona coming from the east coast having never experience such filth and dismay. To top it off late fees are ridiculous charging an arm and a leg just for being a day or two late on rent. The water bill kept rising from the first month being $30 a month to charging me 3x more for water. Telling me that it is normal. But I knew it was because across the street at the park the water was always flooding wasting water. And the water company wanted us to pay more for the flood. The land lord that I had was never there and the assistant hated her job. I had neighbors coming out of their apartments acting up and fighting. And the walls are very thin, no privacy. And the area might have stores close by but there are nothing but drug addicts, ghetto, uneducated, and ignorant people surrounding that area. And Don’t forget the scrappers coming around digging in the trash looking for things of value to them. And now because I broke the lease the management company went and placed a collection on me making it very difficult for me to get an apartment. Stating I owe them around $1,500 but the apartment complex owes me $26,000 in medical expenses to get rid of the scabies! This was the worst thing that has ever happen to me. I felt them crawling on me all the time, had to throw away all my property and start fresh, paid for medicine and treatment ointments, plus more!
I have been here over a year. Management has changed but their practices haven’t. I have multiple emails ignored and get attitude from the people in the office. Currently it is over 110° outside and my air conditioner is broken. Emails are being ignored about it and I’ve sent a couple.
The location is pretty good and the apartments arent bad. There are a lot of homeless people in the area, though, and when I lived there, I had neighbors who were loud, violent, smoked weed outside all the time, even destroyed my holiday decorations. My main issue, though, is with the management.Since moving out, theyve decided that I owe them over 3,000 dollars.Im not some low-life who racks up debt and doesnt pay it... if I have a valid debt, Im going to take care of it.Ive contacted the company at least a dozen times. Ive sent emails, Ive used their online contact-us form, and Ive called (and left messages - I can never get anybody on the phone).I have asked for a copy of my lease. I have asked for a copy of the move-out inspect. I have asked for an itemized bill showing how much I owe and for what. Ive received nothing. Not a return call, not an email asking me to stop by the office, nothing.Yall crooked.
Ive lived here for 2 years so far and Ive had a good experience. Management is okay. I would not say exceptional just because they do not get back to you in a timely manner. They do work with you if you need to be late on rent. The maintenance crew is exceptional on their job but I would give them a one star rating on turn around time. There is absolutely no drama as long as you are courteous to your neighbors. Everyone is absolutely nice. There is not that much noise. It is a quiet place to live. The only reason I give it 4 star rating because I believe management has the capacity to be better. This is a great place if you are looking for a quiet and no drama environment.
This location is near multiple main stores and that is the only good part. For a long time this place has been over charging residents for water which is also turned off monthly for repairs and should be investigated. Residence pay $100 - $125 a month for water. This should be investigated. The management is very unprofessional, takes advantage of the residents and buys their food benefits.
I stayed here with my sister while visiting Phoenix. The cold water kept going out. When you call the office you can rarely get an answer. The office manager Jessica is VERY rude. I thought my sister was exaggerating when she told me about her but shes really rude. There are homeless people posted across the street. They always dig through the trash and theres always random shopping cart around the apartments. Its a great walking distance from Target though.
The lady’s in the offices they have a nasty attitude 🤮🤢😪they don’t do there job right period 🤣🤢
I dealt with Bella Solano since they managed my complex Fairmount Villas. The first red flag was when my next door neighbor would tell me how unresponsive they were when it came to having problems fixed in her unit. When it came to me, one morning I received an email from them saying that my music was too loud and telling me that there have been prior complaints and someone telling her that same day that my music was too loud. What she doesnt know is that I had cameras set up overlooking a wide area and when I looked at the video, nobody approached her to tell her anything. The prior complaints came from my next door neighbor months prior which I resolved amicably and she retracted her complaint within hours.Fast forward a few months and getting closer to the end of my lease. I went out of my way, paid money, and wasted time moving out before the end of my lease so I can in turn receive a bigger security check reimbursement. I made Misty and Jessica fully aware of my intentions. I sent Jessica several emails requesting an estimate of how much extra I would receive with no response from her even after she had confirmed she received my request. She would only respond when the situation benefited them. They are great in telling me when I asked, how much extra I would have to pay if I stayed a few days over my lease but when it comes to the other way around, they fall silent. I have already warned one person and prevented him from moving in and I hope I reach more. I wish my complex had stayed with MODE
Loved this place its beautiful, clean and super convenient location, everything is close and I loved the green grass. The ladies in the office are really nice, friendly and efficient, Karen and Jessica helped me with all my dads process of moving in and made it so fast and easy. Thank you!!
I moved into these buildings a few months ago and so far its been a pretty decent experience. The rent is decent and includes electric which is nice. If youre looking for something cheap and good for single people that dont need a crazy amount of space Id recommend giving these apts a try.
New management just threatened to call the cops on me when i was upset the essential service, WATER had been off all day and even longer then they told us it would be. The lady at the office got mad i got mad at them. They are supposed to be the ones with good customer service when their tenants who are paying get mad at them for not doing the job they said they would.
My dad just moved in these apartments, great place! Thanks for Mariana and Jessicas help my dad got to move in asap, they were awesome help!!!!
Bella Salono is a very customer service friendly environment and I appreciate the great attitude from Jessica Perez and Misty Castro
There horrible wish I could do zero stars lobby reception change on a monthly basis and the management is rude and ignores emails especially about double parking when your friend is trying to go home but there stuck and if you guys want to know more text this email [email protected]
The management needs improvement. The laundry room is hardly ever open. Not to mention the garbage cans filled to the rim.
Who charge $900 close to a $1000 for rent and I live in a studio apartment they are charging me like crazy and last month I had to pay the same about again Just for being late the adding all kind of charges that I dont know about, Idk what to do idk if they want more money from me or what? Plus that I have a leak threw my roof in the restroom and I been telling them about it they still havent done nothing about it.
Terrible area filled with crackheads, homeless people, and psychotic Tweekers. Completely ghetto apartment complex. The Montebello light rail station area needs 24 / 7 police officers and probably a SWAT team. So many criminal, crazy people and all kinds of gangbangers. Hopefully, the new owners of the Christown Mall will rehabilitate this area of 19th Avenue, including this apartment complex. Until then, avoid it.
I lived with my daughter she didnt have any pets
The staff are helpful. Maintenance are courteous. The apartments are located right next to nearly everything, i.e. Walmart, Harkins Movie Theater, Costco, YMCA, Solano Park and Phoenix Transportation. The landscaping is beautiful, with plush green grass, well groomed flowers and healthy trees. The pool is always kept clean, not to mention an awesome Clubhouse for rental. Did I mention, they take pets!!!
Worst management I have ever seen in any of the apartment community. The day I was supposed to move in, they said apartment is not ready and you cant move in. They didnt arrange any alternative option for me. My lease was ending on the same day and I had to move in hotel.I would not recommend to anybody.
Less than one star, never move in unless u like worry when u walk out of your front doorGraffiti all over, mail box area has a lot of questionable people gathering. The advertisement shown does not reflect the property. Look elsewhere. I stopped by and could believe what I saw.
You will soon have to start paying water sewer trash and electricity and takes them at least 3 months to fix anything. It isnt worth the price of living. There drugheads that live here homeless break into the laundry rooms no gates. If you are wise do not rent here.
I just have a question does a school bus pass through here to pick up kids?
Worse place ever. Bed bugs. Dumb management that dont know how to do their jobs. You have a calculator in front of you. U have a copy of everyones lease.
They use to have good front office management but now its terrible. Where are you Anna, we need you
There really and nice neat apt.s
This place takes forever to fix anything
I just moved here I like it close to everything.
Management? What management......
They suck
