Ive had a not so nice experience living here. I was really excited to move downtown and the building itself is very nice and I was in love with the concrete walls. Little did I know, there was going to be atrocious and loud construction from 6am until 5pm (working from home in the pandemic? not an option) as well as an unpleasant experience moving out. Obviously a 60 day notice is required to move out, which my roommate had completed. They asked me to confirm, and I did a few weeks later, but they insisted that my confirmation was the date of the 60 day notice. With this, I am required to pay much more rent than I anticipated and the office refused to help me with my special circumstance, being that my roommate is in a remote location in Alaska without access to WIFI and is unable to send me the unexpected extra money for the last month of rent. All in all, this place is too expensive for what its worth. The cabinets are very out of date, giving 2008 style, which is not my favorite (and shouldnt be yours if youre going to spend this amount of money). The leasing office staff are very pleasant and kind, however the manager was very unkind to me. When she interrupted me I asked her to let me speak. She replied along the lines of, If you wont let ME speak, I will end this conversation, then stumbled into her repetitive line of refusing to understand my unique situation. I would suggest finding a different downtown apartment with updated cabinetry and appliances. Also, I was expected to move into a fulling carpeted living space and was told on move-in day that my living room had vinyl flooring, which was a shock to me and makes the apartment even less appealing. Attached are the photos of the unattractive cabinets and appliances.
After touring half a dozen other apartments in Phoenix, skyline was by far the best overall complex and right in the heart of downtown Phoenix. We have been living here for almost a month and everything has been a breeze. Parking is no hassle since there is always a spot available on your floor and is right around the corner from the apartment door. All the other tenants are friendly. We have a south facing balcony with a view of downtown which sold us completely! We want to give a huge shoutout to Danielle for helping us throughout all of our move in process! She was very friendly and professional, definitely made us feel more welcomed.
For the most part I enjoyed my stay. No complaints.Walls kept the noise out. Move out was easy, I didn’t have to hound them for my deposit. Perfect location. The only thing that bothered me was when nasty dog owners allow their dogs to pee where they shouldn’t. I wish skyline had cameras so they could issue citations every time that happened lol.
We had a difficult move out process due to circumstances unrelated to Skyline Lofts. We needed the help of the office staff and manager multiple times. The staff took the time to listen to our concerns and guided us with the best information available to them. The manager also met with us, listened, and helped make the best of an unfortunate situation. We also needed help from Weidner Corporate. They were quick to contact management and help resolve a situation that ended up being out of their control. Despite that, we greatly appreciate the staff at Skyline Lofts.
Loved everything about these apartments! The pool is magnificent, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Not only that but RESPONSIVE! Living in an apartment, it can be difficult at times to get a hold of people for maintenance, questions, etc but not here! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere new, especially in the downtown area!
This apartment complex is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous pool, decent sized gym and nice patio. My husband and I downsized to the studio and we absolutely love it! Its so open and airy and we love the carpet. The biggest benefits of living here is the amazing location, great amenities, covered parking and less strict breed restriction list. We have a husky and they are allowed here which is great. We walk him around all the time and all the residents seem to be dog people, even the staff. Andres has been wonderful with the move in process as well. He gives wonderful customer service. The maintenance guys are nice and professional as well.
I chose to live at Skyline lofts cause it is right across the street from ASU and once I moved in I loved every minute of it! Living alone and away from home I definitely felt safe and secure living here. I loved the industrial feel of having the exposed piping and concrete walls. I just moved out after I finished school and moved back to California but if I ever move back to Arizona I would definitely go back to Skyline Lofts!
I have lived at Skyline for a year and a half now and have had a great experience! The amenities are great and you cant beat the location. Danielle and the staff have been nothing but amazing while Ive lived here. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this place to anyone!!
Ericka was the sweetest leasing consultant ever. Made moving down from Vancouver super easy! If it wasnt for Ericka we wouldnt have moved to down to Phoenix. Every single staff member makes our life easier than it was before we moved. The apartments are luxurious and spacious. Even though I absolutely love my 1 bedroom shotgun styled loft apartment, The staff is the best part of the whole complex
This review of Skyline Loft Apartments is focused on my experience with the leasing process, as I have not yet moved to the area.Bottom Line: I can absolutely say that Ms. Danielle Mendoza is the reason I chose to lease with this particular property. There are many choices of places to rent in the downtown Phoenix area and I toured about a dozen properties during a recent house-hunting visit.Ultimately, the leasing agent is the “face” of the organization and I place a great deal of weight on the quality of the agents when choosing to enter into an agreement. With little to no familiarity of the area, maps and reviews are what you have at your disposal. This will only get you so far as there are many questions and concerns unique to each person. The owners of Skyline Loft Apartments have hired the perfect person for this position. What I appreciated most about Ms. Mendoza was her professionalism, prompt responses to my never-ending questions, and overall pleasant demeanor. Ms. Mendoza is the sole reason I chose to sign a lease with Skyline Lofts, as I felt that a company that cares enough to hire a quality agent, is likely to share this same level of care for their tenants.Thank you Ms. Mendoza for your patience and for making the process so easy! It is truly appreciated.
I am moving in in a couple weeks and cant wait. I love the downtown area and Skyline is the perfect location to enjoy it all. My leasing agent, Danielle Mendoza, has been a total pleasure to work with on my pending move. She was been professional and friendly from my very first visit....even calling me several times to just say Hi and see how things are going. And, I love Skyline. The size of the community, the architecture, the feel, and the amenities....I know I am going to feel at home here.
I have been living here for 3months. From start to finish the front office staff has been amazing! Danielle has continued to be of wonderful assistance no matter how pestle I maybe. She has truly been a saving grace and has made my time here welcoming and wonderful. I have found my permanent space.
I just moved to Skyline and could not be happier! This place has such a great vibe and my leasing agent Danielle was absolutely incredible at getting me into a space that suited my needs. She is always super helpful and happy to answer any questions I have since moving in. I love Skyline!
I live here for a short time. 4 month lease couldnt affords the high price for the apartment. although I loved my stay at skyline lifts, the stuff is so friendly and the maintenance is so good, they act so fast. what I didnt like is how they manage the garage you cant park near to your room you should park at the third floor even if you live at the second and walk all the way down. and also people are reckless driving in the garage. BE CAREFUL for your children.
We moved from NYC and chose to live here sight unseen, aside from a virtual tour. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful, especially Danielle. She made the transition very easy for us and I really appreciated all of her support. It was nice to meet her in person and all of the rest of the lovely staff. We adore our apartment and it made it an easy transition to living in Phoenix. :)
My husband and I went apartment shopping from so far Anchorage Alaska. And we pick skyline because they were so welcoming and understanding and loving. We worked with Danielle Mendoza she showed us around, we talked and told us great things about Phoenix she was a huge part of our decision making to move to Phoenix! We loved all the staff and Danielle is making our transfer easier by the day. Thank you so much💜 can’t wait to live and greet you guys every time we see each other we are so happy and excited for our new journey!
Danielle is amazing she made us feel so special and answered all our questions. We truly felt welcomed to our new loft. Danielle went above and beyond any of my expectations. The move in went so smoothly and we are so happy in our new home.Jill
Looking to move from LA to Phoenix.overall great location, beautiful place, and great amenities. Also Danielle was super helpful! Very professional!
I have been working closely with Adreas and his amazing team for the past 3-4 weeks and the experience has been outstanding. I have artwork in their gallery space and they hosted a reception for the opening of the art last Friday night. This community is absolutely beautiful, well kept up and the entire team is extremely friendly. Kudos to Adreas and his team. If I wasn’t in a lease, I would consider moving to Skyline Lofts. I highly recommend this community.Chiara Elie
Pros: Great staff. Great location. Pool areas is very nice.Cons: If you like to sleep past 5am this place isn’t for you. Constant loud construction. Guest parking is very limited and cars often get towed. Gym is pretty small. No additional common areas or work zones. Lack of communication via office (aka no newsletter or updates).
I’ve been living here about 6+ years now, and instead of feeling stale I keep finding new reasons to love living here. I really appreciate the concrete structure, it’s great for noise reduction as well as temperature control. And the staff is and has always been amazing. The Maintenance crew is outstanding, without fail, no matter the request. And the office staff is right up there as well. They have taken care of my needs and questions quickly and with kindness and knowledge. Ericka has most recently been on top of anything I need, sometimes before I even have to ask. Incredible experience living in the heart of downtown Phoenix, thank you Skyline!
I am currently apartment hunting in the Phoenix area and honestly, Skyline has stolen my heart. I’ve been working closely with Danielle in my journey with Skyline and she is truly a gem! I am very excited to hopefully be starting a great chapter in a new home with great and engaging management. Thanks Danielle!
This place is absolutely beautiful! From the open-ness of the rooms to the community it is so perfect! I can’t imagine living somewhere else. Plus, Ericka made my move in process so simple and effortless!! Most def suggest to anyone looking for a awesome place!!
Living at Skyline Lofts has been an extremely pleasant experience. My boyfriend and I currently live in a Gallery layout apartment and absolutely love it. Great use of space, awesome industrial look, & a great balcony. The staff at Skyline is phenomenal, they are very attentive, respectful, and personable...especially Robert! I also love how much storage space the unit has and the storage space on the balcony. The balcony storage is great for keeping my bike away from the elements. The only downside we have experienced living here is the elevators tend to break down frequently. Otherwise, keep up the great work Skyline!
The damn elevator never EVER works!!! 😡
I love the location, friendly staff. Ericka is really great and super friendly in the office!
I feel that having now lived here for two years and having just renewed my lease for a third year, I can write a pretty comprehensive, honest opinion about Skyline Lofts. As a former law student, I was initially drawn here due to the close proximity to the campus. It was between Skyline and its neighbor, The Met. I ultimately chose Skyline because of the concrete walls and ceilings that separate each of the units, which makes it so I hear very little of my neighbors, compared to dry wall where you can sometimes hear a sneeze. So that aspect is great.Next, the staff is great as well, both the front office staff and the maintenance staff. The maintenance team, and in particular, Randy, are super responsive and professional. They respond to any maintenance request I have within 1-2 days. I have a leak in my ceiling due to the emergency sprinkler system, and that took a few days to fix because they had to call in people to repair the pipe and the drywall. However, the process was not burdensome and they even paid to have all my carpets cleaned afterwards. Moreover, the front office staff is great. If you have someone that needs to get into your apartment, or get into your car, you can leave your keys with them and they will make sure they get to the right person. They also are super responsive with respect to any other issue.Parking here is great too. However, you do have to pay a $30 monthly fee for it. But there is plenty of parking reserved for residents as well as parking reserved for guests. Guests just need a parking pass from the office, which is painless to get. A lot of places downtown barely have dedicated parking for the residents, much less their guests. The ONE complaint I have is that for 300-something unit, 8-story building, there are only two elevators, one on each side of the complex, each with a history of breaking down, though USUALLY not at the same time. This can become super inconvenient. However (knock on wood), this hasnt been a problem for a couple months now.All in all though, Skyline is great. Never have I renewed a 12-month lease twice, so that says something. Oh, they also have free food on First Fridays and free yoga classes as well. Thanks, Skyline!
I just recently renewed my lease at Skyline and here are the reasons why.1. You will not find a space that looks like this in Downtown Phoenix. You come Downtown to get a city feel, and the industrial look hits all the right spots.2. The staff is amazing!!!3. Pool is one of the best in the city!4. Location/Location/LocationCons1. The gym could use a pull up bar...just saying. lol2. The interiors such as counter tops could use an update.3. ....Thats all I can think of.Love my view, and knowing that this is a place I call home.
This has to be the best managed complex Ive ever seen! The staff is amazing; they take the time to get to know everyone and go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. The facilities are kept very nice, especially the pool. There is a striking sense of community here where you can actually get to know your neighbors and the management hosts weekly events for the tenants to encourage it. The location is perfect, within walking distance of so many awesome places yet not in a spot thats overwhelming to deal with. Youll be hard pressed to find a better value!
You can’t beat the staff at this place!!! I’ve lived here for 3 years and (Robert) the assistant manager showed me the apartment with such a amazing personality and still to this day has always kept a great attitude and is always happy to see ya, and help with anything he can. (Andreas) Is the new property manager and we could not be more grateful. Such a friendly and genuine guy, also always happy to help.
The front office staff is always sweet and prompt and they always remember my name!! The facility is dog friendly and they bring a mobile groomer by every month for us. It is a clean and safe property and its far enough away from First Friday that it doesnt get loud!
The perfect location! It’s such a great place to live. The solid concrete walls are amazing. The last apartment i had was a bit newer But it had paper thin walls. The office and maintenance always respond quickly.
A wonderful apartment complex to live in. The location is great, the apartments are spacious, the pool and facilities are well taken care of.When I had a few maintenance issues, they were taken care of immediately - and the maintenance people are super friendly. They host weekly events for tenants, which not only helps with meeting your neighbors, but there also seems to be a real sense of community here. The office staff, which is here 6 days a week is THE BEST. Super friendly and helpful and they know everyone by name. When I have friends or family come for a visit, they love it, too.
Skyline Lofts has been an amazing complex to live in. We worked with Robert for the majority of our concerns and questions and he was fantastic in answering all of them. He also loves talking about anime/gaming stuff so we came in looking for an apartment and are leaving with a friend. The only reason we are leaving Skyline is that we’re moving to another state, otherwise we would definitely stay again!
Our Skyline Lofts apartment is great. The staff is very professional and responsive when called upon. We have been here for a year and a half, and we’ve had a fantastic experience living in downtown Phoenix. The staff hosts many monthly social events, including First Friday, and everyone seems to have a nice time.
It has been a pleasure working with the staff at Skyline! Danielle, Robert, and Ashleigh made the leasing process so easy. From start to finish, they clearly communicated what we needed to do, we always felt comfortable asking questions, and Danielle even sent us photos of two different floor plans. Its evident they truly care about the comfort and happiness of their tenants!
I lived at Skyline for just over a year and loved every minute of it. You could walk to really great bars and restaurants. They are very pet friendly and have responsive maintenance. Definitely would recommend.
I have lived here for three years, going on four, and I have been perennially stoked for the entire time. The staff is chill, my apartment is sick, and to say this place is full of good vibes would be the understatement of the century. Skyline lofts is a great place to live, and a fabulous family to be a part of! Rock on and join the movement!
Although I did not follow through with my residency application, forfeiting my fees, I liked the look of the location and the text (email) communication between the leasing staff and I. I would have easily given this complex a 5-star rating otherwise. However, I was annoyed that I felt like I had to reiterate everything the leasing agent and I had already discussed via email, which should be in their notes or something. Id been in contact with the same staff member for about a full day, then we talked over the phone to briefly discuss my financial stand-point and approach to make sure it would fit their Qualifying Criteria (it did) on an applicant taking up a term-based binding financial agreement for a place of residence. Yet, this individual did not seem to recall any of the important information on my personal residency application and financial inquiries as I was mentioning the key information to try to recall her memory/notes. I was kind of baffled and almost hung up. As a business, someone should be able to give you their name and you have all their important/key information readily available with a quick search or glance at your notes, if not memorized. As I was trying to approach the financial conversation in detail over the phone for their understanding and approval, the staff member seemed to brush it off quickly answering in a way as if i was taking up to much time talking about this or as if I should know everything and that it was all cut and dry. I get that this complex is a business and source of income for the staff, but its also my expenses and potential residential management on a term, so I would have really appreciated a more curious approach from the staff member on the personal financial matter.Additionally, I also had specified my move-in time period, which was almost accommodated for: The Leasing agent said they could do check-in one-month before my preferred time-frame. However, my current complex lease agreement doesnt end until over a month after that date, so if i moved there at that time I would have TWO residential monthly rent payments ($1,240 + $1,220=$2,460; as a full-time independent student who literally just found a job despite the economic slap of COVID-19...? no way.). They compensated this by offering a one-month free waiver to my account. Awesome! THANK YOU!!! =D --> The problem: The last email I had sent (after completing the application the night before it was approval and while I was still interested in the location) I specifically stated I could ONLY swing this move to their complex at this time if/when I had this waived fee, among other things, in writing BEFORE I sign any lease agreement. (I should have also waited on this before completing the application and throwing my application fee money at them: $250 for a person to glance at a page for 2-seconds or send it to someone who will.) The first approval Welcome Home Letter I received did not factor this waived fee into the agreement. Fortunately, although still uninterested in the property due to personal dis-interested in the commute time from this location to ASU-Tempe campus 5-days a week, after reaching out about the waived fee not showing up on the letter the leasing staff did send a new offer letter with the one-month waived via the concession. Again, thank you so much for re-accommodating this. All in all, Im sure this location is perfect for almost anyone, and likely would have been for me too if I attended Downtown Phoenix Campus rather than Tempe. Yes, I know, I should have made this conclusion way before all this. lol. Win some, lose some.Best of luck to Skyline Lofts and all current and future residents! :)
The best apartment I have ever lived. High ceilings, great view, perfect location. The staff who work here are all super friendly from the cleaning crew to the management. They all become your real friends. Not to mention the people who live here are all cool. I can NEVER hear my neighbors and they have a great little gym.
This is an update to our former one star review. A more balanced look at the complex.Pros:- Location really can’t be beat. Trust me, we’ve looked. And even after trouble we ran into with Skyline, the location alone is worth staying.- Space. You don’t get the kind of space Skyline offers at very many downtown apartments. 887 sq. ft. for the “1 bedroom without a door” studio.- Other things: people who live here are super nice, never have to worry about bugs, and if you care about pools, they have one of the nicest ones around.Cons:- We dealt with an extremely frustrating maintenance issue with our toilet from February to May (our one star review for most of the likes on this post). It was poorly mishandled by the office BUT I appreciate their effort in trying not to make us feel awkward once it was settled. I almost stopped going to any community events, but Robert has made it feel comfortable for us to still be involved in the community.- Overpriced. It’s just an old building. There’s brand new luxury apartments that offer more for the same price if not cheaper. Some apartments are renovated and newer. Ours is old so the wear and tear on the carpet is visible. For the price, I would expect a nicer place.- Pet owners don’t always clean up after their pets, so it’s common that elevators or grounds smell like pee/poop.
I lived at skyline for 2 yrs and I loved the industrial look. It is a very clean and quite community and the office staff is amazing.. I would definitely recommend living here.
The Office Staff is very accommodating and helpful. They are professional and will always greet you with a smile. This a great place to live! Close to everything downtown and there is always something going on Downtown.
I have lived at Skyline lofts since March and have loved every minute of it! I am going to leave another review on the whole crew later but right now want to give a special shout out to Danielle in the office. Since day one Danielle has been there for me answering my million questions, never rushing me or feel like I was wasting her time. She helped me with learning the ropes of the application, problems i had with my keys, etc. And she always, always has a smile on her face.I have seen how she interacts with other residents in building and she is very professional but at the same time comes across as a friend that has known you forever. Thank you Danielle for all your help! Your amazing!. Weidner properties has a very special and valuable asset working here and i so appreciate it. Keep smiling😊Kathy Huggins
Hands down the best community I’ve ever lived in. The apartments are spacious, awesome views, and fantastically located! You’re an easy walk from all kinds of fun stuff downtown but also just far enough outside of center to avoid a ton of noise. Residents are mostly young professionals, with a few families. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t a bunch of noisy college kids, given the proximity to ASU downtown campus. The staff are all kind and will know you by name. You can always stop in with concerns or just to chat. Maintanence handles issues promptly and requests are easy to submit online. I’ve had my toilet running, submit an online maintenance request, and it’s fixed by the time I get home from work that very day.The community hosts events regularly with food and drinks. It’s nice because residents actually attend them. It’s been really easy to make friends with neighbors.I just renewed my lease because this place is awesome!
I visit my girlfriend there all the time and I love it. The pool is always super clean and the office team is so nice!
Fair price for luxury apartments downtown. The office management team is amazing - friendly, strict on rules, and always happy to assist any issues Ive had. Maintenance team also works diligently. The only downside is some of the building components seem cheap (toilet, bath, fridge, stove, some electrical sockets). Ive had my stove, fridge, toilet, and lights all break down in my first year. Still 5 stars because of the prompt service.Walls are thick concrete, so aside from the occasional noisy drilling of other tenants, you can expect to have peace/quiet.Some community events here and there, which is fun. The clubhouse doesnt seem to be utilized often, but its nice. I appreciate the inclusion of a poker table.Be very careful with having guests park their cars in the public parking area overnight. I left my car out in the public lot one night and someone broke into it, stole all my belongings (rest in peace, favorite Maui Jim sunglasses...).Residents can park in a gated garage, but not guests. My lease was up recently and I decided to do another year. Other similar residences just didnt offer the same level of comfort for the price. And be careful, read Yelp reviews of nearby places first.. seems some are having rat/management problems.
It saddens me to have to write such a negative review for somewhere Ive called home for almost two years. Ill try to keep this short: its a nice complex with smart looking rooms, a nice pool and decent parking. Its not perfect. The road noise is bad, and despite the celebrated 6 inches of concrete between rooms you can still hear your neighbors. The main reason Im leaving my home is their newly inflated pricing: $1300 for a studio in Phoenix is insane. This is Phoenix! We live here rather than San Diego or LA because its cheap. The management (nice as they are) are helpless in negotiating pricing or lease terms with the pricing analysis software at Corporate. There are plenty of studios and 1 beds in downtown for much less money. If you need to live somewhere modern and industrial, this barely does justice to that style, but go for it if youre fiscally frivolous.
Skyline was my first apartment when I moved to PHX. The staff is excellent and the Downtown location cant be beat! The look and feel of the community, you wont find in most other apartments in the Valley.
The appearance of the buildings is superb, the leasing and maintenance staff are excellent. The amenities are great as well, and on the weekends the pool is always busy. I had some friends visit from out of town and they thought it was a resort! Its not often that you feel 100% welcomed in a place that youd expect to deal with complaints, and angry residents, etc.It may be a little pricey for some, but the location and loft apartment design alone are worth it, if my contract was longer Id definitely renew a 12 month or longer lease.
I have lived here 9 years. Have had no problems, the staff is great and very helpful
Been here just a little over 3yer been very happy
I moved in a few months ago and I am loving it so far. I wanted to rate it 5 stars, but no place is perfect. When we moved in, our carpets had been cleaned but a the next day, spots started to show up and now we have three huge stains on the carpet. The only other thing is that it gets pretty muggy in the apartment. Other then those two issues, everything else is perfect. Great location, friendly staff and an amazing pool area. I would love to stay here another year, I am crossing my fingers that they dont raise the rates!
I lived here for 10 months and I really cleaned well to move out and get back the deposit. However, carpet replacement fee is almost 900 dollars ! it is crazy. I have never seen and heard the expensive carpet like here.
This is the first time I have ever left reviews on any of the apartments because I felt it was just that important to share the AMAZING time I had while a resident at Skyline Loft Apartments. From the moment I stepped into the leasing office until the very end, I had nothing but the best experience. The ONLY reason I am no longer a resident is due to closing on a house, which the staff was very supportive and excited for me.I have lived at decent apartments and the biggest issue that you always see at apartments, is terrible staff. Let me tell you Skyline Loft has THE BEST STAFF I have ever encountered. They genuinely care about all of their residents, not just until you sign your lease! They truly care! The ways you know they care if they remember names of not just the residents, but their kids or animals, etc. They keep up to date on everyones lives and what is new (i.e. babies, marriages, work, etc.) just show they genuinely take the time to get to know everyone who lives there. They go ABOVE AND BEYOND when it comes to resident engagement! We had monthly activities ranging from yoga in the yard to First Friday events in the gallery to stuff with Filmore Coffee Shop! That is just the tip of it all, they truly focus to make the apartments a HOME! It is easy to be nice until a resident signs their lease then not pay them too much attention, but the Skyline Lofts Team cares about you until the very end. Example, i accidentally left my favorite tools in a drawer in my apartment when I left, they called me and kept my tools until I was able to pick them up! They cared to call me! That just speaks volumes to me.This would not be a complete review of the apartments if I did not mention Robert. Robert is a leasing consultant, but truly feels like the heart and excitement of the property. He really goes above and beyond to be engaged, get to know the residents and just be approachable and customer friendly. It is easy to just be generic with all residents, but Robert go the extra length to have great relationships with residents and be the go to person for any needs! You can never catch him without a smile and him saying hello to brighten anyones day! The team is definitely solid, but would not be complete without Robert!I cannot sing enough praises about this location. Clearly the engagement and staff is amazing! The location and property itself are phenomenal! I fell in love with the industrial styled vibe, downtown location close to so much (food, movies, attractions, stadiums, etc.) and the pool entertainment area is GREAT! The pool sits perfectly between the buildings so the sun doesnt beam down all day, most the day the sun is behind the buildings and perfect to entertain! If you are looking for a new place to call home and a staff that you feel like is a close friend or family, SKYLINE LOFTS IS JUST THE PLACE FOR YOU! I will always recommend this property and will truly miss it.
Dog poops and pisses all over the building, including my front door. Managers are doing their best but can’t do much for tenants who are without any common sense and are so rude.
Simply put: this place is amazing.
I like it, some nice tenants here and reasonable overall.
I moved here on April 2013 with a 4 month lease and I have to say, I enjoyed my stay here. The community is very clean and well maintained. Its safe and quiet. Not too much noise, considering living near ASU. There is available garage parking at no extra charge and my car was never broken into. The fitness center was always clean and being a gated and secured access community, I always felt safe going to the gym, pool or lounge. Their is also 2 computers, free internet, wifi and printers. With that said...it all comes with a price...and not cheap. One thing i didnt like was that people would litter (soda cans, circle k soda pops, cigarette butts) on my patio (being on the ground floor). You have to pay for trash pick-up (no opting out), they charge for short term leases (the leasing lady told me $200 extra for a short term lease, but when i spoke to someone else, they said $100). Then the lady rolled her eyes at the guy that said $100...That was a little shady...Another thing i didnt like was that the gate would slam shut hard behind you. It was too loud. Also, people would zoom out of the garage, i was almost killed from someone speeding out the garage....they needed a speed bump. It could smell like dog poop here and there when ppl dont clean after their dog....(usually 3x a week). The interior of the apts felt like Jail, lol. My dad thought they forgot to paint the apt, but its all concrete, lol. The hallways kinda stank because ppl would put their trash outside their doors. The bathtub was hard to clean..ur dirty feet would stain it for good. Leaving bleach in the tub for about a day could help, with some vinager and baking soda in there too...lol. All in all, not too bad if you are not picky.Anyway...if you can afford around $1,400/month for a 800+ sq. ft loft, then I would live here.
You sell the sizzle not the steak!!! Cool downtown location...neat looking building... lots of sizzle but dont take a bite because this is one chewy --- steak! It is very noisey with car horns/alarms, big busses and trucks especially with that annoying back up thing, noisey people/drunks yelling, leaf blowers, the design of the concrete building does not absorb the sound it bounces it everwhere especially into your apartment. Would make a great dorm for ASU school for the deaf students. You cant opt out of the trash pickup weather you use it or not add $25.00 to your rent. The appliances and fixtures are subpar for the price you pay, my plastic tub (try to stick a magnet to it, it wont stick because its not porclain coated cast iron ) is easily stained with dirt because it is not porclain and it matters with hard water...i still havent figured out how to get the stains out? The garbage disposal clogged from a small ammount of cooked spaghetti. The doors on the individual apartments are not very stout (another place corners were cut) i always felt one good kick and your in not to mention how much they contribute to the noise.Take a close look before you pay a high premium to live here. The hallways are filthy and it tracks into your apartment...with so much concrete everywhere i felt like hosing it down including the filthy exposed duct work in my apartment. If they ever need to expand the 4th ave jail they could easily add bars to this place. The grounds look generaly nice but all the dogs have really made it a giant urinal and toilet take a good wiff in one of the sitting areas. My intent is not to bash this complex but to give prospective renter a fair review from the tenant side. Now for the anonymous responses from the management/ownership...Ive never had any problems!? In fact when I die and go to heaven I hope its just like Alta filthy concrete that smells like dog urine everywhere!!
Nice place and great ppl.
Great apartment community with a fun, friendly, and attentive staff
It looks nice, but terrible place to live.

MOLD WARNING!!!!! DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR ANIMALS HEALTH!! Not a good situation
