I moved in last November and even with new management things can’t improve. I’ve had it! One issues after another here and it’s nothing Covid-19 related.

The are garbage the rent before I signed was 754 for a one bed and bath which we have Utilities plus water they make us pay 813 and than tried to make me pay 883 this month! My friend who lives here has a two bedroom and bathroom with washer and dryer and pretty much pays what he pay! Where is the math in the rent ! And there A/C units suck and they never pick up the phone up in the office

With The Robinson Group taking over management, my experience has been nothing shy of a constant headache. After submitting a 60 day notice, I have had to call on a daily bases a week prior to confirm the pro-rated amount due prior to the lease ending mid-August. Being told The correct rent amount will reflect on your account come the first, this management company is trying to collect $500+ more from me than what is contractually due! After now three attempts of contacting the property and management company, my call is being sent straight to voicemail with no returned call as of date. Being the due date of the month, youd think this would be settled by now so they can get paid.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!I have been a resident here for over five months. I would like to share with you the experience Ive had with my time here. The first day I got my keys I did what any other new tenant would do and walked around the apartment making a list of any pre-existing damage. The major damage I had noticed is that there is a leak in the bedroom ceiling. This leak must of been there for quite some time because it was rather large area that was damaged and under Neath the damaged area the carpet had been stained and it was turned stiff and left an unpleasant smell. After numerous complaints over the four month. They finally fixed the outside so it stopped pouring buckets into my bedroom at night while I sleep during the rainstorm. The damage done to the plaster and stinky carpet still remains today. If management had fixed the leaky roof in my apartment the first two or even three times I had complained about it there would not have been damage done to my bedroom furniture. When I shared this fact with the office they simply replayed, thats what renters insurance is for. No words of sympathy, no words of apology to the fact that they had not fixed the issue in a timely manner and could had prevented the damage to the furniture. If that wasnt bad enough they apparently have been having issues keeping their water running properly. So when youre getting ready to go to work in the morning or coming home from a tiring day you can flip a coin on whether or not you have hot water or any water at all. The office management having scheduled the maintenance on their water systems doesnt have the courtesy to notify its residence when they plan on turning their water off. When I approach them asking them why they didnt give me a heads up that I couldnt shower before work on several different occasions they simply said I know its unpleasant. Well if you know how unpleasant it is to walk around the whole day stinky then maybe you shouldve shown a little respect and courtesy to your tenants and notified them of schedule maintenance so that we couldve planned a day around it. The same attitude was given to me when I approached her on this and asked her to be kind enough to give me a heads up next time she simply said no she would not give me a heads up and really didnt care the fact that I still had no hot water or any water at all the second time in the same seven day period. This happened to be the fifth time I have been out of water. It is my opinion that the entire office staff needs to be replaced immediately and the new management needs to step up and take care of their end of the renters contracts.

So far it has been good since we moved in at the end of february. We have seen a couple bugs and had a few issues with maintenance but once I place a work order I get s call to schedule the exact say and time for service and such. The office staff is great and they are very understand and patient. If anyone has a problem with this place its probably because THEY are the problem not the complex or staff. If you are courteous and thoughtful of others you wont have any problems here.

Shes polite & shes always there to help. So spread some love people!

I have lived here since 2014. New management, new rating: I dont think Ive ever encountered a business that cares so little for its customers. As long as this new management team is in charge, I will NEVER recommend Fairways at Cave Creek.Ive been sitting on a negative review for a few months now, since the new management team took over the property, but today really took the cake. . After two separate months of demands to pay with a cashiers check because their online portal messed up and wouldnt charge water/sewer/trash/tax, today is my last straw.Management would not reschedule a maintenance request to replace two blind slots for my door because it would be too inconvenient for the maintenance staff even after I explained that I have a pet and would prefer to be at home when someone is in my apartment. They said it would only take a few minutes. If thats the case, then how inconvenient would it REALLY be to reschedule? My husband, or as they call my roommate, offered to place the blinds himself but they would have to check and let me know tomorrow...even though it was 1:30 when he called. If they would repair the broken light outside, that would be phenomenal. Ive never been so frustrated or disgusted as I have been while dealing with Mission Rock Residential. The woman who answered the phone gave me every excuse she could think of to not actually ask maintenance and let me know the same day. She wouldnt be there when they begin working...even though she stated that she starts at 9 and they are able to enter between 9-6? She said she couldnt ask them today but couldnt tell me why? They gave me a 48-hour notice to let me know? Yes, they are LEGALLY allowed to do it...but they care 0% about tenants. They would rather not inconvenience other staff members with rescheduling a few minute job than simply move an appointment back a few days.

I currently live here and have been here less than a year. Worst place I have stayed. The office staff is rude, even after being bought out by a new company. Everything about this place is horrible. The neighbors constantly complain about any little thing, and never come to you about the issues. There have been roaches for months and Ive seen an exterminator one time, office has yet to do anything else about it. My girlfriend is over a lot and is constantly harassed and being told she needs to fill out an application if she wants to live with me, which she does not at this moment in time. We have had problems since day one. And any time I have an issue with something, nothing is done to resolve it. I do not recommend living here and I will definitely not be renewing my lease.

Under new management again...I’ve been here for two years. I had no issues until the renovation started then they went under new management. There was no one in the office for at least 6 days and none of the tenants had any idea what was happening. The new office people are not friendly at all have not informed anyone about what’s going on unless they ask.The recently changed the keys for the laundry room which I had no idea about. Got to the office but they were “closed” I could see the girls in the office and hear them talking. I waited in the heat for a good 15 minutes knocking and not one of them even acknowledged me.In addition to all of this they raised the rent from 200-300 depending on what you have. I’m not sure if they know but there’s a wash right next door with basically a village of crackheads not to mention all the drug dealers that actually live on the property.

I recently moved out of this dump and I could not be happier, that is until I found out that my final bill, which I paid with a money order delivered in person to the office staff, had been sent to collections. I went back in to find out what happened to that money order and why it had not been applied to my account only to find out that the whole complex was sold the day after I turned in my payment. Given the incompetence of the management it is easy to see how they would have lost my money order. So now I am stuck disputing a payed debt with a collections agency and trying to track down who sent it there and where my money went. Of course this is all after I moved out. So why did I move out?My wife and I moved to this complex from out of state without seeing it in person, our mistake. Upon arriving our hearts sank after seeing how unlike the pictures the property really was. The apartment was very dark and old, only made worse by the disgusting brown paint on every wall. The carpet was old, and stained, and the whole apartment smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Throughout our one year here we were constantly having to complain about our neighbor who would play music so loud that we could literally feel it. The laundry facilities were almost always in disrepair with a large number of machines being out of order. The list goes on and on.AVOID AT ALL COST

Things were never really fixed when I needed them to be fixed. I had a washing machine broken they took it apart and that was it. The machine has been sitting unfixed for months so much ordering the part like they said they would. Along with the fact when the ac broke in the middle of summer. The guy came out turned off the ac said he would check on in an hour to see if it would work. The guy never came back had to call the office to finally get some out their to actually do thier job. Lets not forget one morning a police officer knocked our door asking my husband if we heard the shooting the night before just few a feet away from us. WOW I feel safe! Glad we finally moved out.

Customer service seems to be unheard of in the front office, unless youre there looking to rent one of their apartments. Office staff are not very friendly at all. If you would like to call the office to inquire about your apartment, you are lucky if they pick up the phone. Even luckier if you get a call back after leaving a voicemail. I have had problems with Fairways since I paid my first months rent. The popcorn ceiling had holes in it when I first toured the apartment, and I was told that would be taken care of before I moved in. There was also items/trash left over from the previous tenant, which I was told would be discarded before I moved in. When I moved into the apartment, it was very apparent they had done nothing to it since the previous tenant moved out. They assigned my parking spot as my neighbors parking spot, which made for a great first impression with the neighbor. My new parking spot is about a 100 yard walk from my apartment, even tho there are vacant spaces closer to my apartment. Ive had many more issues than this throughout my lease, so as you can imagine I am very happy to know I will be leaving this place at the end of this month. I wouldnt recommend living in these apartments to my worst enemy.

Talk down to their tenants, lots of miscommunication, and generally rude office workers.I came here over a year ago to an apartment that wasnt cleaned before I moved in, with a cracked amd leaking bathtub. Over the last two months, my fiancé and I have had to call 5 TIMES to even get contractors down here. Their latest excuse as to why we keep having to call back and reschedule? They had given us the wrong information, and Didnt know the contractors schedule or how many appointments they have. As if its not their job to supply you with necessary information regarding your home! (The one time the scheduled contractors actually came, they were 6 hours late and therefore unable to work on the tub!) And you can definitely expect attitude from the office workers, as well as a sense that youre bothering them to do their jobs.Other things to expect: tiny screws in every door frame, which provides no safety at all, if someone wanted to kick in our doors; creepy and/or obnoxious security guards (one tried to follow me home. Later, two others walked up, interrupted a conversation I was having just to introduce themselves, made awkward small talk- still interrupting, mind you- then left!); slow response time to requests, and the feeling that youre paying for more than youre getting. The two stars they earned came from the fact that my apartment is still standing, and that alone!

By far the worst apartments I have ever lived at. I moved in not expecting a luxury apartment, but it was somehow worse than I anticipated.Firstly, if theres any construction or traffic along the road, the complex is an absolute nightmare to get into or out of. Thats not the fault of the complex itself, but still something to be considered.STAFF: To be fair, some were nice, but others seemed completely apathetic to anything. One was very condescending toward any requests or concerns. Maintenance people were nice, but incompetent.PRICES: I had a one year lease and for some reason my rent randomly shot up $50 in the middle of it, and again near the end.NEIGHBORS: My next door neighbor was great, and the ones above her were nice. The family above from me, total nightmare. I had a weekday job, the same as my upstairs neighbor. I worked 5 AM-3 PM on weekdays. On weekends, I USED TO enjoy sleeping in.I had to wake up at 6 AM every Sat/Sun because the neighbors sound system BLASTING video game noise with lots of automatic gunfire and explosion sounds in the master bedroom for HOURS ON END. The noise was so loud that it would literally rattle EVERY WINDOW in my apartment. There was nowhere I could go escape it. I confronted them about it, and the guy told me it wasnt him, but the people next door to him. Sure, the elderly couple on the other side of the stairs was causing noise directly above my master bedroom. I went to the office after multiple encounters and they told me there was nothing they could do, and that I should call the police and file a noise complaint. Wow.If it wasnt their TV, it would be horrible clarinet squawking, also for hours on end. I played the same instrument in middle/high school and I played significantly better than this man ever could. Their son would have his girlfriend over almost daily. When that happened, there would be loud music, sex noises (or both) in their room too, which was right above the other bedroom that I used as my office/computer room. One of the maintenance guys I talked to told me the people before me complained about them too.The turnover was extremely high, so I met new neighbors all the time. One man I met asked me if I knew anybody he could buy weed from. I would walk past this guys apartment every day I came home from work and I would often see his girlfriend strung out on the couch. Smelling weed in the air in around the complex was common. There was also a string of thefts going around at the time I lived there. Management even posted notes on our doors about this. Anybody who lived downstairs would know, the patio had a ~3.5 foot wall that anybody could hop over and take whatever they wanted. Thankfully, all I had was a potted plant stolen. Who steals a potted plant?I had also once seen a group of three grown men hop out of a car and threaten a middle schooler on his skateboard who THEY almost hit because they came flying into the complex.ENVIRONMENT: The laundry facilities - horrible. If the few front-loading wash machines in the facilities werent full, they were broken. A medium-sized load would sometimes have an error saying unbalanced load. The washers LOCKED when you started them, so I had to physically rock the machines to shift my clothes around.Screaming children in the pool as late as 10 PM and people making out in the hot tub - didnt even bother.Needless to say, the apartments themselves, trash. I had a clogged bathtub drain and broken A/C when I moved in during the summer. Ugly beige paint. Dented, paper-thin walls and a painted BRICK WALL in the master bedroom. Broken outlets. The burners on my stove were uneven. If I needed to boil water, the pot would just slide off. The cabinets/drawers were crooked, moldy and made of cheap particle board that was horribly chipped and just painted over. Ants crawling in through the windows.I could go into even further detail, but theres a character limit so just take everyones advice and AVOID Fairways at Cave Creek. Spend a little more money and go elsewhere.

I came to look at these apartments (09/2017) and they were so run down. I walked into the office and some young girl with short shoulder length hair helped us, didnt get her name she didnt tell us nor did she have a name tag. Quoted me a price of $1046 for 2bed 1bath not including anything base rent only. She showed my an old dirty apartment that was move in ready there was a dead roach in the bathroom sink and the carpet had a lot of stains on it. The unit she showed us had no lights or AC mind you its 107 outside we maybe looked at the apartment for 30 seconds, even my 8 year old son said MOM this apartment is dirty. Pretty sure it takes a lot for a kid to realize an apartment is poor quality. The outside of the buildings were were chipped all over and needed to be re-plastered, the apartment trashes were over flowing and people had trash at there front doors. I was really disappointed there was not one positive thing about these apartments, also no washer or dryer.

The WORST problem? I found my self in a domestic abuse situation where my ex broke in and cops were called on multiple occasions . I went in to ask for help and was just told sorry and the young child working in there just shrugged her shoulders. Never offered to change the locks or recently I found out that by law they are allowed to let me our of my lease. No one cares.Roach infested. Worst office staff I have ever dealt with. No one knows whats going on and the information they give is extremely inconsistent. Refrigerator never worked properly. Allowed my downstairs to harass me. I couldnt even take groceries up at 6pm without a noise complaint called in ( thank god she moved a out) Last minute notice on water shut offs. Multiple vehicle break ins for my vehicle and my neighbors and the front desk did nothing. Absolutely no security. The neighborhood surrounding the place is also going down slowly. Avoid this place!
