The place is nice and the office staff are friendly and professional. They are willing to listen and work with you. Maintenance is pretty quick for the size of the complex. The grounds are well maintained.The only part that I didnt care for was the added cost to rent. The bill comes every month for added things like water,pest control, etc.. Things I had not budgeted for and that are higher every month.All and all it is a nice place I feel safe here and that is very important.

Oscar is hands down one of the best maintenance men I know. Every time I need something done in my apartment it gets done in a professional and timely manner. It is always a pleasure to deal with him as he goes above and beyond to get the job done. His customer service is amazing!

This apartment does not protect their tenants, no security whatsoever. I went out with my family this last weekend only to come back to notice my brand new iPad has been stolen. It was kept on the dresser and someone entered through a locked window (I stay on the last floor), entered my toddler’s room and stole.The police are investigating the incident. Also, I reported to the apartment office, I was rudely and quickly referred to the insurance company.I spoke to the insurance today, only to be told that the door/ window has to be broken/smashed before my claim will be considered. They didn’t believe there was a theft!Apartment is yet to fix the window screen since Sunday!This is bad Bolero (Not luxury) Apartment.

Me and my girlfriend went looking around for an apartment and drove there during the night. We did not see any issues that people are talking about here. It was quiet and clean which I like and there was plenty of spaces to park. So great points for me!

If you plan on moving here please be aware that on the Brio side of the apartments there is an extremely loud grey truck that goes off at all hours. All of the neighbors are forced to live while hearing this excessive noise all day. It’s unfair to all of us who pay $1600+ a month. This truck literally rumbles and shakes the entire building, management refuses to take action. The owner of the truck stays in their truck with the engine on for 15+. This is not ok! There are children around who need their sleep or people who are woken up by the excessive noise, it’s very inconsiderate but also upsetting management won’t do anything about it

Apartment wasnt cleaned properly at all. Under the dishwasher we found multiple toy cars and chicken nuggets, as well as plastic plates. R-R-Rooooaches as well folks. Dont trust me? Go walking around at night. You can see them quite easily. Inside of the apartments as well. Less frequent but you see them about once or so a month. They do spray for bugs and such around the apartments but it doesnt work. Trash cans are always overfilled. Wouldnt live there again. Management was alright. Maintenance was hit or miss. Theres one guy that doesnt care even a little. He will argue with you that hes right no matter the situation. Then he looks like the fool when he has to come back cause he was being lazy. The PARKING, my god the parking. Only complex I ever lived in that doesnt have assigned. What 5ivehead thought that was a good idea?

Well I came here to see what was it all about before covid was so far in. The place is not something I would ever want to move into. It is expensive not to mention you could be placed on the 3rd floorrrrrr. Man it was a tight fit getting in the door I couldnt even imagine where to begin. Also we walked to the spot and was just all the smoke my kids were probably getting high sorry to say. I just didnt think it was worth the asking rent. Imagines on Google were designed to get you here I wish I took the picture that made me run away! Sorry but hope you take a quick look for yourself before you sign a lease.

I’ve been living here for 6 months now and I have to say this is the best apartment complex I’ve been to in a while. There’s good parking, the area outside is always clean, the rooms are spacious and clean as well. The pool is perfect for the kids in this summers heat. I look forward to the great breakfast every morning. The staff is very polite and helpful, June told me every thing I needed to know and helped me out a ton! I just moved recently. But somebody stole my tire and wheel at the parking lot.

I have lived her for 2 years and I love it here. The staff in the office always so nice and caring. If my apartment needs anything its taken care of in a timely matter. Not to mention the serve breakfast in the morning, Winning!! My kids will make a stop 3-4 times a week on our way to get our day started. Last year they had a summer program for the kiddos to have lunch. I highly recommend these apartments, people Ive recommended are still living here. Great CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I am so excited for the taco Tuesday. I went into the office for an air filter and the office staff invited me to one of their resident events they were having. They told me that I could bring my children and have drinks tacos . Love that they do free breakfast in the mornings as well . I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends! I took a tour of the Bolero Apartments, the place has everything I need. Very clean and spacious. The amenities are fantastic, fitness club with a beautiful community swimming pool. I love that is pet friendly.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Ive lived here nearly 2 yrs...and I love my apartment. Since 1st walking through the office doors, Darcie assisted me with great customer service and was very welcoming. In fact, Jessica and all the office staff as well as Hasting in maintenance and the others, have provided both professional and caring service. I have NO bug issues, like apparently I neighboring apartments do..never have. My only complaint would be parking. Its tight and lately, unauthorized vehicles might be in my spot. Very annoying. As also are the slamming of front doors around me. But, these things go hand in hand with apartment living. My experience here at Bolero has been good. And I REALLY DO LOVE MY APARTMENT.

Lived there for 2 years. Place was awesome. Free hot breakfast every weekday morning. My apt inside was sick. Back wall painted the color of my choice. Awesome place. Others are just hating. As an employee who works full time, I wouldnt have signed another year lease after the first one if all people were saying were true. I moved to Bolero because I worked at the Amazon across the street and the Target Distribution Center a mile south. Eventually gave up Target to focus on school and Amazon. Now i moved to the east side closer to campus. I would still live there if my school was on that part of town. Good Place

I’ve been living here at Bolero for a couple of month and even though there is a garbage issue with residents not taking their trash out,I enjoy my apt home. Negative one star! As awful as you can find. The absolute worst. The management is so horrible. NEVER any parking. Most unsafe place for my children. I will be moving FAR AWAY as soon as my lease is over. My fridge has been leaking for 3 weeks and the maintence hasn’t even opened my service request yet. Never move here folks. Unsafe, dirty and useless staff. ALL of them.

Ive been a resident here for about six months here and I love it! From the up-keeping of the grounds to the office staff are phenomenal! From my first experience with the office until now has been great. I especially have to thank June, shes so awesome in communicating in a timely manner! I like that they have their own security patrolling the grounds, it makes me feel a bit safer with my daughters. I was a bit skeptical moving in with the mixed reviews but I can honestly said its a good place to live in.

I dont know about the living conditions, but the workers are awesome. I remember when I had a family member missing and I called his apartment complex to see if they had seen or heard from him. There was a lady I think her name is Jessica she was really helpful and concerned about his well being and helped me in every way she could. She was very friendly and had a lot of compassion.

I love living here at Bolero! Not only is the rent affordable, but there are many amenities that makes your stay here more comfortable. I particularly love that there is a complimentary breakfast for residents. Unlike some apartments that only provide a continental style breakfast, the menu here at Bolero ranges from breakfast sandwiches, to Pancakes, french toast, sausages, biscuits and gravy etc. It is nice to be able to save extra money on breakfast by taking advantage of the breakfast here at Bolero. Furthermore, the 24 hour fitness center is a plus allowing me to be able to fit the flexible gym hours into my schedule. In addition, I enjoy the free DVD movie rentals and the immaculate 3 pools with 3 whirlpool spas and BBQ grills here. On the other hand, if I had to be extra picky I would say that the parking can be improved here as there are not much parking spaces to choose from. However, with an expansive choice of amenities this complex offers all of the amenities that a more expensive complex would offer - just at a fraction of the cost. Love this apartment complex, Im very thankful to June for helping me get an affordable apartment while Im finding small jobs! I also wanna say how I love the free movie nights that happen sometimes.

If I could rate this place no stars I would. After living here for 2 years, broken mailbox gates, broken gym equipment, broken A/C in the gyms, broken entry/exit gates, loud music, drugs, underage drinking at the pools, people who dont even live here using the pools, people coming in and eating breakfast that dont even live here, people/homeless people walking in and out of complex at all hours of the night knocking on your door asking for food or money, people hitting your vehicle and the complex takes no responsibility for anything other then making sure that your rent payment is on time. Charging you per pet for pet rent which is the stupidest thing Ive ever heard of. Pools constantly dirty or closed. Toilets so loud you can hear them flush at all hours of the night, walls so thin you can hear the guy pissing in the apartment next to you. One parking spot for two or three bedroom apartments, staff that is unwilling or unable to solve the simplest problems and being told over and over We do our best here at Bolero to make you feel at home. The only thing they do best is sit in the office and do nothing. Not to mention 3 people have been killed here.I emailed on numerous occasions all of these problems, the only thing that was ever fixed in the two years was fixing the A/C in the Brio side gym. Instead of appreciating that theres actually people who cared enough to let them know about the numerous problems they have here at Bolero, we are given a slap in the face with a Notice Not To Renew Rental Agreement, not because we were ever late with rent. Not because we ever had any complaints against us. Not because we were loud tenants but because we asked to have things fixed and repaired properly as we are customers paying 800.00 a month. So instead of fixing the problems they dont renew your lease if you complain or send hostile emails. Had we been bad tenants we would have got an eviction notice instead of a non renewal. They didnt have legitimate reason to evict us so they just dont renew. Unfortunately they have the right to do that.I was told In the best interests of the Bolero staff and myself it was best that we move out. Funny I dont remember the Bolero staff ever paying my rent or bills for that matter to know what was In my best interest. These people could care less how comfortable you are here as long as you are paying rent on time. Now there are a few good people that work there but of course the bad ones are the ones that are in charge and make all the decisions. RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN! I dont normally write things like this but I hope and pray it keeps at least one person from making the mistake of living here. For what you pay here look down the street much better apartments for the same price or even less!ONE YEAR LATER...They send me to debt collection for 50.52 which I paid with a money order for the remaining for cleaning. It showed up on my credit this week. Thank God I still have my money order stub from a year later! This place is horrible!

I dont usually review places but this had to be done to prevent anyone else a headache. This place is not a good place to live in. Roaches EVERYWHERE no matter how clean you keep the place. Their pest control is useless; it does nothing. Be prepared to live hand in hand with the cockroaches as you will find them in places you didnt think possible. Management and the office people are HORRIBLE. They are rude, sarcastic, snobby, and uncaring to any issue you may bring up with them. They act like they are doing you a favor by listening to your concerns when it is THEIR job that you are paying them for. Ive never met such rude management. There is not enough parking spaces for everyone. Dozens of cars have to park outside the apartments in the Park n Ride. Then they send an email saying that whoever parks there can have their car towed. But where else are we supposed to park when they stuff as many people as they can in here? These apartments would be bearable if management wasnt so snobby and indifferent to the residents concerns. Stay away until they fix these issues.

I came here two weeks ago looking for an apartment. Everyone in the office was very friendly. Josh the leasing agent was extremely helpful and very patient with me. He showed me several apartments and then I asked to look at them all a second time so he showed them to me again. After I decided what apartment I wanted we figured out a move in date and everything went great. I moved in a few days ago and I love my new apartment! Thanks Josh

Went to see a 1 room apartment. June told me all about the pool and the weight room. She also talked about free breakfast. She won me with free food. She invited me to the taco party . June was very nice and even tried to talk about the Cowboys.

This is a problem with many apartment rentals, and no one wants to talk about it, but I needed to share my experience, as embarrassing as it is. I pray the problem has now been resolved, but I urge anyone who wants to rent anywhere to please have your apartment checked for bed bugs prior to move in. It will save you a lot of headaches and mental distress! We rented here in 2016 and had a bed bug infestation that came from the upstairs neighbor. The very first night we slept in our unit, we woke up with itchy, painful welts. At the time, I did not attribute this to bed bugs, since, having never dealt with this problem; the possibility did not enter my mind. A few weeks after move-in, I noticed a bug crawling on my son’s crib. I spoke to the neighbor upstairs and he acknowledged that he had a problem, but was recently treated. I believe the bugs must have traveled down to our unit from his. I was so upset and stressed out and forget about anyone sleeping!! I went to the office to let them know and thats when management told me that they have never had a bed bug problem and that we must have brought them with us when we moved in. I was shocked! They agreed to pay for the $3,000 treatment, which, although grateful, I found odd since they claimed it was our fault. We had to live with my parents for a whole month and there was no discount on rent. After we were given the all clear, I begged them to please treat the adjoining units, because those bugs travel and I didnt want anyone else to be affected. I was declined. Two separate neighbors acknowledged that they had problems, but management continued to deny this. I received a letter from their lawyers which said: My clients records show there has NEVER been a bed bug infestation prior to move-in. Should you elect to vacate, you will be held responsible for the remainder of the lease plus any damages and if it is determined that additional pest control treatments were not necessary, that expense will be yours. I prayed and endured until the end of my lease. When we were moved out, another neighbor told me that her unit had just been treated for bed bugs. So, the cycle continues, the whole unit needs to be treated, not just one at a time! I realize bed bugs can happen to anyone, it does not matter how clean you are. I was not happy with the way this place kept denying the problem. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CLEAN APARTMENT BEFORE MOVING IN. I pray for anyone who has to endure this. Thankfully, we are now bug free although my kids will be starting school soon and Im just waiting for the day they come home with head lice! Aye!

I honestly wish I could not rate this place but Im forced to. Im not entirely sure where to start but lets start with the bugs. I had to contact them so many times about the roaches and where they were coming from, next door neighbor, whose house smelled like dog pee and you could smell it while walking up to my door. Her dogs barked constantly, my upstairs neighbors fought like they were in WWE and I know all their business and another smoked weed constantly. I had to tow cars WEEKLY because idiots parked in my spot and there was never any parking. The only nice staff member I came across was Ms. Jodi in the cafe. The other staff is extremely rude, would talk over me when I was expressing unhappiness. I dont care how rude or upset you think I was, which I wasnt, you are to stay professional. I know two people who will be losing a holding deposit cause of the issues Ive had and one more resident who plans on breaking their lesser. Please do not move here. Dont be mislead by the nice appliances and decent apartment. Everything that glitters isnt gold!

I just moved into the Bolero community. The staff has been wonderfully supportive and informative throughout my transition. Jason Logsdon helped coordinate my apartment selection and did everything possible to make my husband and I feel welcome. The staff members who handled my move-in day were also very friendly, efficient and provide a fantastic level of customer service. The weekday breakfast option is a wonderful bonus, Jodee is always friendly, the tables are clean, and the food is great.The community is clean and well-kept also - I do award a 5-star rating.

Worst apartments to live at, I would give it zero stars if I had the option! There is no parking spots and it is dirty as hell, people do not know how to throw their trash away or pick up after their pets. Theres no point of having a gate when its always open as well. The worst apartment complex ever. No parking spaces, rude people, rude staff members, people always park in your parking spots and if you park anywhere else than yours you will get towed. A lot of illegal activities going on there, loud neighbors everywhere. Loud music, I can go on and on... Im glad I dont leave here anymore. Staff members are very rude and disrespectful they will also try to find a way to take your deposit. Good luck, if you move here.

STAY AWAY!!! First and foremost nightly gunshots, garbage, trash and horrible experience living here. There is so much trash laying around that bugs are perfectly happy outside. Second, nightly gunshots, fireworks, security joining in on parties, broken gates, Gates missing locks, a basic entry to apartments in their gate code, and best of all, cant even set up a voicemail that says Bolero or Weidner. This is the absolute worst apartment Ive ever been a part of and certainly not worth the money for an apartment complex that treats their tennants like low income housing. I would recommend that with the current management, that should be their only direction in low income and hopefully, they shut down for good. Oh did I mention nightly gunshots that the apartment does nothing about? I repeat, nightly gunshots. Stay away from here! By the way, nightly gunshots.

If I could I would give 0 stars ! This is the worst apartments I’ve ever stayed at . It’s so disgusting spider webs all over the place roaches crawling around and going into my apartment!!!! I seriously liked The Cove way better then living here. I never ever had any problems with spiders, roaches,pee smell the lost goes on and on. I moved to these apartments because they looked nicer than the rest in the area . Moving here however was the worst mistake! I can’t wait till my lease is up and never have to deal with this again . The staff is horrible and have snobby attitudes! Not professional at all. Thank the Lord I’m almost done with this nightmare . I wish I would have looked at the reviews before moving in . I’m just glad this is almost over, sad to say even my son who is only 12 says “we can’t even live comfortable here “ I don’t really feel like management gives a damn about these reviews because nothing changes . I’m just here to let you know how it really is . ***DO NOT MOVE HERE **** Thank me later . Oh, and parking sucks as others have mentioned.

I really like this location its in walking distance to the grocery store and near the bus line. I have lived on the property for 1 year and Im very happy with the management.

Back in 2014 I had moved in to these apartments and I actually did have a great experience. I lived here for 1 year. The staff was friendly, accommodating, very professional and the apartment I moved into was excellent. I never had any pest issues, and or issues with neighbors. It was quiet and it was peaceful. All in all the apartments were well kept!I applied for a lease at Ventana Palms, was approved and I was ready to move in. However, the very first day as I walk in the apartment was infested with roaches! On the floor, kitchen, cabinets and everywhere. So i took video and ended up breaking the lease the same day. I decided to go to Bolero as I had a great experience with them and I explained my situation to the person on the front desk. I let her know about the issue on the previous apartment. She toured me through 2 different apartments on the Aria and on the Brio side. Both had roaches as soon as we moved in. There were dead roaches and roaches crawling around the walls. It wasnt as bad as Ventana Palms, but I feel like this place has lost its way. it feels ghetto even from the outside and not what it used to be. I ended up renting a condo.

This is by far the WORST apartment complex! Do not be fooled by the outside! This is my first apartment and all I wanted was to move into a home to call my own. The manager, Sarah, is very rude. She has no care or concerns for her residents. Everything is about money with Bolero. They will charge you for any and everything. I was fined 25$ for having an ashtray by my door! Then again was charged $275 for having a friend over who had their dog so I was fined for the dog! I have had insect issues with Bolero over the past year. First it was roaches, then there were many spiders, earwigs, and bed bugs!!!!! I asked the leasing office to please switch my apartment and then came the fees! Along with the audacity to insist I would be taking bed bugs with me to another apartment. My parking spot is way across from my apartment. So many people who do not even live here park in our parking spots. DO NOT SIGN YOUR LEASE AT BOLERO!!!!!! I love giving great compliments but this apartment complex deserves none!!!!

My boyfriend and I have been living here for over a year now, and I dont have any positive things to say about this place. we have had nothing but problems living here, including the following:1. We get roaches, and they come in all different sizes, and they live in the kitchen, and we have done so many things to get rid of them, but they seem to keep coming back and the staff here wont do anything about it. I mean its disgusting we make food in there its embarrassing.2. ALL the appliances in our apartment suck! You have to bang on the stove to get the heat to come on, on the burners. The dishwasher doesnt wash your dishes your better off hand washing. And the washer and dryer like to not work every other week.3. The pools are always closed there is always something wrong with them4.The gym equipment sucks, half the time they dont work and they only have a couple of things.5. Their mail system sucks we never get our mail on time to pay bills, and our family cant send packages because it gets sent back for no reason, and the staff wont help you figure it out.6.The staff in general are rude, they dont care about anyone but themselves. We had a little mishap with our check, because it was pay day and the bank couldnt put all the money in and after explaining it to them they still charged a late fee for our rent. They arent understanding at all!7.They come up with all these rules and regulations I feel like I am living back at home with my parents. There are so many things you cant do around here that it would take forever for me to list them.Im sure there are more things that arent coming to mind right now, but just know this place sucks!

I live here and cant wait to move! I constantly get harassed about my vehicle, the towing company says the office mgr says to sticker my car to tow it because it looks abandoned, or inoperable, or has a flat tire but when I call the office they are quick to say its the towing company who decides who gets towed. I have more than one car but even my own car in my own parking space isnt safe. I MUST move it because they want me to! RIDICULOUS. I wont ever refer anyone to this complex or any Weidner manages.

I lived there for almost a year, and the only positive experience I had was with the office staff. The neighbors are inconsiderate (loud at all hours, smoking where theyre not supposed to, not taking proper care of their dogs). After I left, I received charges for painting and carpet cleaning, which was not the result of any damage on my part but something that apartment complexes do routinely anyway. I was also told that I might have to pay for carpet damage, depending on the age of the carpet. Tenants pay for water because, as they claim, its a precious natural resource, yet they water the lawns and have 3 pools. There are some shady practices going on with this company; its obvious they dont care about tenants but rather getting as much money as they can.

One of the worst places I have ever lived! I dont even know where to begin. First off the rent is way too high for what you offer. The location is far too ghetto for what you want in rent. The apartment is pretty nice in itself. The carpet was clean when moving in and about an hour of walking on it all the old stains appeared again and I spent weekends of my life shampooing the carpets just to look nice. Bugs were an issue the first summer but I was extremely clean and used borax all over to keep the bugs away or kill them. The worst part of living there was outside of the apartment. If you want peace and quiet this place IS NOT for you and your family. Small penis men rev their engines all hours of the night. They race their dumb trucks and mustangs all hours of the day and night up and down the street. The windows are so thin and the walls are so thin you can hear it all perfectly. I could even hear people talking normal outside with all the doors and windows shut. Everyone and I mean everyone smokes weed outside and they dont care if you care or even have kids walking by. There is never any parking spaces and you get one spot even if you have two cars and willing to pay for one more spot. The security is no better than a mall cop. Oh and ladies, guys will have no respect for you and your privacy and they will holler at you and even follow you to your car or apartment. The gym is crap and I mean crap. The pool is always filled with people who dont even live there. They also say it is pet friendly but there arent any places to take your dog to go to the bathroom. We live in PHX you cant expect a dog to walk on cement! Would you walk on the cement barefoot in the summer here? The staff sucks and will not be very helpful. Oh and if you want your packages dont expect them to be deleivered to your door or even let you know you received it because the mail persons will only take them to the office. Beware and you have been warned if you choose to live in this hell hole they call a complex.

I really dont understand why everyone keeps mentioning roaches because I havent seen one roach. Ive seen a few earwigs in the bathroom but not enough to ever make me care. I believe that they offer insect spraying you can sign up for (monthly maybe? cant remember). The parking isnt the best but its not the worst. Just make sure you park in an unassigned spot if theyre coming home later than you so they can have the one assigned spot. The apartment itself is clean and new. Nothing broke or damaged except for some scratches on the laminate floor which is the only thing I have to complain about. Not sure if it was from the maintenance or the previous renter, but you would think that people know what happens when you drag out a stove on laminate flooring. Its really quiet. Some nights ill hear kids yelling in the pool, but its not often enough to make it a nuisance. I like living here. Its peaceful, I feel safe, its clean, updated, and the girls in the office have always had a good attitude whenever I see them and they really seem like they care about the people who live here. Again, the scratches on the kitchen floor from the previous person bother me, but everything else makes living here nice.

This place is by far deplorable. Dont move here if your coming from LA or the east coast, keep looking you will find better. People take your parking spaces, mystery charges are a regular basis scenario, and most of all, moving into the apartment you will be greeted by foul odors emitting from the professionally cleaned carpet. Its legit smelled like a kennel when we first moved in. And when you move out, you can clean the apartment and make it shine like when you first moved in, but what they are going to do is I still bill you for it. Not to mention the grasshopper infestation of the entire complex. Be smart and look elsewhere. Because its going to be nothing but mental anquish and depleted account balances when they finish with you.

Nightmare Fuel:Bolero Apartments at first glance looks nice enough. Administrative staff are more than helpful, rent prices are competitive, and even though the location is located in Maryvale, it at least looks like a generally safe place during the day, especially with it being a gated community. A prime location for broke college students or roommates since its so close to the heart of Phoenix right?Wrong.Since the beginning of our lease in mid August of 2016, things kicked off to a pretty high level right from the get-go. (Context: three non-trouble making college aged roommates living right next to the administrative office, which makes it the safest possible experience). The neighbors directly above us were involved in several domestic violence incidents(audible screaming throughout the night, thudding of fights that were going on, etc.). Bolero did nothing about this, despite several resident complaints. On top of this, several of the residents in my time there proceeded to cat-call and holler at my girlfriend, her friends, and other residents, which resulted in me having to take matters into my own hands on several occasions. Up until roughly December, things heated up to a point where our upstairs neighbor pulled a firearm out and threatened a female at point blank below our window. We were forced to take matters into our own hands once again, jeopardizing our safety to make sure this female wouldnt be hurt, and so we called the police. The police apprehended the suspect, and then proceeded to run straight to our door. They had the audacity to ask Are you the ones that called? directly under the apartment of the apprehended suspect and (presently) uninvolved roommate. We made the difficult and rough decision of making sure someone wasnt killed, and the response from Bolero was underwhelming to say the least. The resident was allowed to continue his residency(even though he brandished a firearm in front of the front office, jeopardized the safety of several residents, and was engaged in brutal, physical violence with his male roommate almost weekly upstairs). Granted, Bolero did have a safety meeting, but what was the result of this? 1 security officer that is barely present and has had no negligible impact on the general safety of residents. Awful.Now, if you have a strong stomach for violence, or feel like dealing with residents isnt an issue, surely this would be the place to live, correct? Wrong. We had cockroaches come on 2 occasions presumably through neighbors vents. When we established communication with Bolero, we were met once again with a delayed and underwhelming response. Bolero does not take resident health seriously, and it shows. Trash litters the sidewalks and steps of all of the apartments, little to no care is taken to maintain the lots, and something as serious as a cockroach infestation is taken with sugar. On top of this, stray cats and other animals can be found lurking in the parking lots.The only good thing I can say about Bolero is the office staff were polite and helpful, and the move-in process is easy. But you can see why. They will tell you that the reason theyre able to have such cheap rents for these units is because the housing bubble exploded during the 2006-2008 era, resulting in these nicer apartment complexes being bought out, right? I dont doubt that, but the reality is Maryvale is a nightmare of a place to live in. The nearby shopping is as ghetto as it comes, and even simple fast food restaurants nearby are noticeably grosser than going west or east. The truth of the matter, is rent is comparatively cheap because, as evidenced by other reviews, nobody would want to raise a family, have a significant other, or go at it alone here.Simply spoken, avoid this place like the plague that it is, unless you enjoy domestic violence, stand-offs, constant police sirens, noise complaints, and you can afford to threaten physical violence once a month to protect you and yours in addition to cockroaches.

Ive lived her for almost exactly a year. At first it was ok ...it was nice and the staff was nice but theb it considerably worse. You absolutely cannot find any parking! You will literally drive 30 min looking for one or risk being towed eveb in your own spot. My garage door was broken and i had no where to park. They still have not fixed my garage! I pay for this parking spot for no reason apparently. The staff loves to argue when you bring up a complaint and tells me there is nothing they can do since there is not a manager on site. They charge you for everything even when i cleaned my own carpet before i moved out..they charged for me a cleaning fee. The gates are always broken and i mean all the gates. The pool is so full of chlorine i got sick and cant even use it because its so dirty. No problem with the maintenance team though.

It is a horrible place to live at, the office workers are rude and instead of helping customers they go to the back and talk. We have been living here for 6 months and maintance is horrible they want you to pay before they fix anything for you. Once we gave a month notice they didnt accept our money order they started making excuses that the manager needed to be there so we got a late fee is $150 just because they didnt want to do work that they get paid for.
