Brittany is so charming and sweet. Laura seems nice too although I didn’t get to meet her when we went in for paperwork.People that actually care like them are hard to come by. Thankful I was steered their way! In today’s market, homes for rent are just in completely crazy high demand so bad that almost everywhere we called had absolutely no availability or 20 applications on 1 home… & as far as owning goes that is a nightmare in itself. We were on the verge of living in a hotel until a place opened up somewhere.Prestige realty helped me connect with them and I’m satisfied with both of them for this outcome during this high demand time.

I just signed my first lease and I have to say that Brittany in the office was absolutely amazing to work with she helps with everything from beginning to end made sure everything was going to work for me and even now that Im here shes been great to deal with Ive had to put in a maintenance request and its been completed super fast the entire staff has been awesome!!!

If I could give this place -1000 stars I would! Moved in on the 15th & moved right back out the same night! Came home from the store turned the lights on and roaches EVERYWHERE!! Yes on the FIRST NIGHT! Got all our stuff out the apart didn’t get done until 5:00am. It’s not worth it at all. They lied and said pest control came the day before we moved in and the day of move in sooooooooo, lol what did they change ? Because there is still roaches galore. DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT MOVE HERE ITS A WAIST THEY DONT CARE AND LIE TO YOU! Save your money and go somewhere else please it’s not healthy especially if you have children. And Avalon hills apartments don’t get under my review saying your sorry about the inconvenience because YOUR NOT & now I’m homeless with nowhere to go!

I have been living here for a year now and just signed a new 12 month lease. This is a great community! Office staff is always extremely helpful and efficient. Maintenance requests are handled almost immediately. Neighbors are quiet and friendly. I have had no issues whatsoever since moving in here. I’m so grateful to have found a wonderful complex to call home!

These apartments are in a perfect location for me. I’m signing my second year with Avalon hills and the main reason has been Laura in management. She has been nothing but helpful, understanding, and sweet during my lease as well as Covid in general. The apartments aren’t the most luxurious but they are practical and I have had no issues with my apartment. On occasion there are a few small bugs but they have weekly pest control and it is is effective. I have no complains and my questions and concerns are always answered quickly. I recommend to anyone.

Management and staff are the best I’ve dealt with. Very helping through the pandemic. Unfortunately the roach problem is too big to ignore. Lived in two separate units in the complex and both were INFESTED with roaches. I had both apartments bombed on multiple occasions and it did nothing for the problem and they always came back within a day. I recently finally moved out of the complex and had to leave most my furniture there because the amount of roaches that were inside it. Cost me me more money then I’d like to admit to try and make sure they didn’t travel with me to where I am now but unfortunately they did and I’ll now have to spend more money trying to get rid of them here before it gets too bad.

I’ve been here for almost two weeks and so far it’s been amazing. I had to place a maintenance order and it was completed very quickly. The front staff has been really nice and accommodating. So far so good!

I applied for an apartment and their website said the base monthly rent was $760, I paid the $100 application fee (for 2 occupants) plus the $100 holding deposit, but then four days later I check the status of the application online and it says Rent price changed from $760 to $900 - 25 minutes ago. So I called them and they said I supposedly applied while the website was updating, and the rent price changed. With the price being much higher than advertised on their own website, and the fact that I applied under the impression the rent was $760 (and it said it was $760 for 4 whole days until literally an hour ago), I feel that I am entitled to a full refund of the application fees and holding deposit ($200 total), as I would not have even applied if their own website had the correct price in the first place. But Laura in the leasing office is refusing to refund the application fees, so now Im out $100 because of their own mistake. Absolutely appalled at the lack of understanding and lack of customer service.

Poor everything, upstairs neighbor flooded our apartment so we had to move to a new one which kinda was an inconvenience and I wasnt able to pick where I wanted to move to but things happen but mind you I have young kids and they like to play like any kid. They put me in an apartment in front of the office. I was in the new apartment for 2 days and they said i was getting non stop complaints about my kids and them playing outside with there toys being loud in the middle of the day, but they arent the only ones out there, theres at least 7 or 8 others out there as well, they also said other Absurd things. So I decided to talked to everyone around me and they told me they cant even hear them and they would just come knock on my door if anything. Also everyone around me that I have talked to, told me this just sounds like a set up for them to kick me out. So i called to talk to them about it to clear the air like adults should and all I got was bad attitude and yelled at by laura and James for something that could have been fixed and talked about.

I moved in 3ish years ago and at that time the office was very nice and helpful. They worked with me and explained paperwork, rules, regulations, anything I didnt understand, they were willing to explain the why behind various rules and clauses. Unfortunately the staff started getting swapped out around a year ago, and the new staff I have found to be very corporate and very cold overall. No one is any longer willing to give explanations and it feels like they simply demand money whoever something goes wrong. The manager is less uptight than the two ladies in the office and I fell hes been more helpful. Brittany does not confront people on issues, rather she decides there is an issue and launches a personal investigation (such as interrogating neighbors to get dirt on the apparent offender) and she informs you of your problem child status the next time you call into the office to take care of something, withholding that something until you fix the problem you didnt know you had. Shes done this both to myself and a friend who lived there, we have both left at this point.

I went to view the apartments as my new potential place to live. I understand the inability to do the tours in person due to COVID-19, but many other apartments are doing self-tour or tour by appointment. When I asked if I can see any of the apartments I was told its not a possibility because of the pandemic. I was told that many people sign the lease without seeing the apartment, so there is no need to see them. When I recommended for them to open up a possibility for self-touring, the office employee literally answered, Nah, we are good. As a business owner, it is a responsibility to adjust and adapt to external circumstances. I dont know who would rent an apartment without ever seeing it, especially when roaches and bed bugs were mentioned by other renters, but its the response for the employee that made me never consider this place. Sad.

Was going to pay my rent on the online portal and noticed the bad reviews. I think one thing to keep in mind anywhere you look people are first to post the bad instead of the good. So let me just say I have had absolutely no issues here. Everyone in the front office is amazing. I’ve had a couple of issues but they were quick to fix them. The walls are a little thin but hey that’s apartment living. No roaches, bed bugs, or break ins for me. Heck I accidentally left my front door wide open all night long and nothing happened. I would recommend this as a place to live. Convenience next to the freeways and it’s off the side of the Main Street. First apartment I truly was never stressed about living in.

I just moved here the end of May, and honestly I love it. Crickett and Brittany have been extremely nice and accommodating. I initially was supposed to be in a first floor apartment, but due to issues with the tenant and turning their keys in, that unit wasn’t going to be ready for my move in. They quickly were able to find me another unit, which was better than the initial and took care of me. I had an issue with my storage unit that was pointed out to me right before move in, and maintenance was out quickly so the problem could be addressed. The apartments are great for the price. I haven’t had any crazy neighbors. The only thing regarding noise, is if you live close to the pool it can be loud, but nothing crazy. The appliances are a bit outdated, but work wonderfully. Better than expected to be honest. The parking is great, I never have to worry about having my guests find a place to park like my last place, and the car ports have plenty of room between cars so you’re not squeezing in. One suggestion I have is the payment methods. I’m not sure why they cannot accept money orders-there must be a reason behind it, but they will take a cashiers check, which can add up. I do like the fact that you can pay your rent online too. Any issues or questions I’ve had, they are always helpful. I’ve called quite a bit during the move in process and Brittany never seemed annoyed or anything when we were speaking quite a bit. And Crickett who is the manager is super sweet as well, and has answered my questions too! I really like it here, and I really recommend it as a nice and affordable place to live. I have recently moved into the complex and found so far my experience has been very positive. My apartment was clean and ready when I wanted to move in. Minor issues I found at move in where handled with in 72 hours of when I moved in. My area is clean and quiet for the most part. So far cant complain. Will update if my experience changes, but I dont expect that to be happening.

This complex is poorly run. Bed bugs are a MAJOR problem with LITTLE provided care, EXCEPT for the ability to easily throw away all of my furniture twice with no problem, as do several other residents. There are some private units and some rented, there is no rhyme or reason to the premises. In one year Ive spent $2,000+ on pest control. That doesnt include replacement of carpet and furniture.My unit was broken into and robbed in 2014. My cars have both been vandalized, first one was stolen out of the parking spot.My neighbor ran over my dog, $700 vet bill that no one will cover.HOA will not solve the bug problem. HOA, for $150 a month, for the past 3 years, has not done one single thing to help my privately owned unit. A bee hive formed outside, I had to solve it myself, with one arm. Flooding inside the ceiling, my problem. Roaches and bed bugs, my problem. Rooftop air conditioner, Carpet, walls, plumbing and electrical issues, my problem. So far, all the $4,000+ have done is trim this tree outside and THAT IS IT. Im disabled, with low fixed income, and every fee/fine is given.BUT MY IMMEDIATE NEIGHBOR can get help.My unit is being paid for by my family to help me being disabled. Im not here by choice. I dont have the means to get the heck out!

If you had asked me a month ago this complex was great. My water heater broke on Tuesday didnt get fixed till Thursday but my carpet now smells of mold and Im still out of my apartment. Front office is no help only told its not their fault its not resolved.

I recently moved in here and am in my lease. Upon moving in to said apartment the whole place was filthy and had a musty and some what moldy smell. The walls were caked with dust, as well as the air vents. The counters are peeling up and theres obvious water damage under the sinks. The cabinet under the kitchen sink looks rotten and is soft when you put anything down there. There was a dead cockroach under the 2nd bedroom sink and again the soft squishy cabinet bottom from either water damage or something. I must say the carpet was replaced when we moved in, which is very nice.The neighbors are very loud, and their children run rampant throughout the facility. I have a pair of children that like to come up on my patio and scream at the top of their lungs. And when going outside, you ask whats wrong and they say, Nothing and walk away. There are some neighbors here that make you feel very uncomfortable to go anywhere. They cat called my roommate who wasnt even 18 yet. They stare at you and almost undress you with their eyes. There are many instances with the police in this complex, just last night there was a dispute where I heard people screaming bloody murder and shortly after there was a police helicopter overhead searching for someone. After the police officials I guess gave up on the search for the individual, there was a man who came out from behind some bushes saw my roommates and jumped back into the bushes. It was quite scary.It is a disappointment that the hot tub gets shut off during the winter time, seeing as its not very utilizable during the summer in Arizona.I would say you should look elsewhere and pay a little more for a better quality apartment.

If I could give a negative star I would. I called Sheri Dunn because there are termites in the condo that I own. The 2019 Budget for the HOA shows that they have allocated funds for termite inspection and yet I was told I was by Sheri Dunn ( Community Manager) that she cant do anything for me or my situation and hung up. Sheri was extremely rude, and unprofessional, she did not stop yelling the entire time. I am currently trying to get a hold of someone / anyone that can help, yet I am still unable. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ASSOCIATION

First of all let me start with this cant wait till I move out of here... The places here are not what they seem to be. You have some people that own there condo and some are Rented out like apartements. The office staff dont like to be Bother with any problems here. The only nice place is the front of the office so they can have the Allusion of the rest looking just as good not... Cars here get Vandalized broken windows and looks like people steal cars and leave them here. My car is scratched all-around. My neighbors car window was broken there are other cars also that this happen to. Theres people that sleep in the laundry Room they lock The door so you cant go in there. The hot tub was green for 3 months. Couple of the units here are drug activities its mainly by the office. For the people that own their condos they have an HOA fee What they do with the money is unknown when they receive it. So if your looking for a place to live I will Definitely pass this place by a long shot...

I lived here in 2013-14..everything started off ok...within that time my car was vandalized 2x..someone broke my window..and theres suppose to be security? Plumbing is terrible. My daughter accidentally broke a piece of the bathroom mirror. When I moved out I couldnt find the right size mirror to replace so when I turned in my keys it was close to midnight I put them in an envelope with my forwarding information (as well with the post office) and explanation on mirror to please contact me with charge for it. Heard nothing...no calls..no letters..nothing! Until other I found out they put it in collections. Not happy I have been trying to clean up my credit since 2011 and they go and pull that crap. Do not move in there...pool was down for months when I first moved in..save yourself the headaches and misery. Not worth it.

For the most part I cant speak for all the people here but my experience here was very good the community was very calm this apartments are nice normal apartments nothing to luxurious it still has issues like any other apartment complex has but the people in the office are very nice and try to help I was always welcomed when I went into the office the two guys there are so funny and helpful I never had any issues and would re-rent there again.

We have been here almost 4 months now and our major complaints are as follows; people dont clean up after their dogs after being asked several times, the pot smell no matter where you walk in the complex, honestly, it takes maintenance an extraordinarily long time to get to a work order and people who dont mind their children. Their landscaping company leaves a lot to be desired as theyve killed most of the beautiful green grass we had in a matter of a week and now theres barely any grass in many areas (they cut it too low) and its browned. Ive read the reviews and Im not sure what many are talking about as far as the staff/management team goes; they have been nothing but helpful, courteous and do what they can to work with you on issues. Brittanys bubbly personality is a plus. As far as the vandalism and break-ins, if people who live in a community acted like a community, maybe there wouldnt be so many incidents? People looking out for their neighbor would go a long way to reducing the incidents significantly. We live in an apt that faces the road; its quiet and peaceful; now if the HOA would come and unseal the gate on our side, it would be perfect! No community this big is perfect, but we like it here.

Me and my wife moved here on April 2018 we were a little worried about moving here due to seing all the negative reviews but we decided to try it out. So far it’s been decent we love the people that helped us out in management we can tell they have been fixing this place up.and trust me by just seing the reviews on here it’s changed a bit by what I have seen.The only real complaint that I have with these apartments is there is so much random drug addicts walking around it’s really scary for my wife every time its dark I have to walk out with her to make sure she is safe because she is so afraid of these strange people just walking around a month into moving in my Jeep got vandelized! I thank God! they didn’t steal my tools for work we just had to brush that off unfortunately. All these negative things would be fixed with one huge suggestion for this place and that would be to fix all gates so that they work with only residents being able to come in and out the issue with random people walking in and out which by what I see are mostly drug addicts would drop by a lot and complex would be a whole lot safe and secure.Other than that I do recommend these apartments talk to Brittany by the way she will take care of you ! she made it breeze for me and my wife !

PLEASE SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND MOVE ELSE WHERE. THIS PLACE IS FILLED WITH ROACHES (THEY ARE BREEDING IN MY WALLS). I HAVE CALLED THE FRONT OFFICE AND ASKED FOR MY APARTMENT TO BE SPRAYED AND THEY HAVE HAVE. BUT THEY ARE COMING OUT . WHEN I MOVED IN I HAD OPENED THE CABINETS AND THERE WAS ROACHES ON TOP OF ONE ANOTHER BREEDING IN MY KITCHEN CABINETS!!! I MOVED IN OCT 2016. I SIGNED A 12 MONTH LEASE AND I HAVE NOT ONCE USED THOSE CABINETS SINCE I MOVED IN. TODAY I HAVE KILLED 5 ROACHES THE SIZE OF A TINY ANT. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ROACHES YOU KNOW THAT ONCE YOU SEE BABY ROACHES THAT MEANS YOU HAVE AN INFESTATION. WHEN WE FIRST MOVED IN WE HAD THE ROACHES THE SIZE OF MY HAND CRAWLING ON MY WALL!!!!!!!! I HAVE TWO BABY GIRLS. I lived here as my time on my own. I was burglarized once, and had a cinderblock thrown into my window another time. The second time my window was broken, I was told to wait for I believe about two days, before my window could be fixed. Fitness room was closed for remodel when I moved in, and has never been reopened, a year and a half later. Jacuzzi stopped working and was never very warm after being fixed. Laundry room has only two washers and dryers that accept change; the rest accept a special card, which never seemed to be available to get. Laundry room was also closed due to a gas leak for almost a month at one point. Apartment was not cleaned when I moved in, and the carpet was in awful condition, which was noted upon move in. After moving, no attempt to contact me was made, and they sent me to collections for the carpet. Management comapny has changed, and the community is better than when I initially moved in, but I would not recommend this community.

Moved in 9 months ago, was under a new management. My apartment smelled of cigarettes, and I found that my bathroom was completely caked in yellow stains, including the ceiling and the door. None of the doors seal properly, the carpet was trashed, and all of the electrical outlets were worn to the point that none of the plugs would stay in.In the 9 months Ive been here, weve gone through 3 separate management companies. To each, I have submitted my repair request time and time again, and they never show up when they say they will. I always give them permission to enter when Im not home, and I always specify exactly where and what the problem is. When my AC broke, I called the emergency hotline four times in the course of six hours and continually left messages. At 7am, I get a call from one guy who told me I needed to stop calling so often, and they would be out in a half hour to look at it. Three and a half hours later, they show up and spend twenty minutes on how the problem was my fault. They eventually diagnosed it as a part failure, and that I had nothing to do with it.One of the times I submitted a problem report, it took them two and a half months to respond, even though I asked them for updates twice a week. They only kept one maintenance member on staff, directly refusing to hire additional assistance.I also have to deal with crazy neighbors. There is a retired USAF who walks around constantly with no shirt, smokes so much marijuana that you can smell it across the street, and likes to pee on my front door. Yes, he PEES on MY front door. I even called the police on him, which accomplished nothing because I didnt have any pictures of it. The next day, he used an epoxy to graffiti the sidewalk in front of my door, and no one will do anything to clean it up. Everytime someone steps on it, it tracks into my apartment.There is another neighbor who appears to be related to the USAF guy who installed a webcam on his front door, and walks by all the apartments on this row between 1am and 4am laughing and talking at the top of their lungs, several times.When their technician tracked dirt and oil into my carpet, he told me he would get someone out the next day to fix it. Three weeks later, the community manager informed me that she had no intention of replacing the carpet of an occupied unit. Prior to that, I kept asking for updates and they kept saying they would get someone out tomorrow.That same technician was going to look at my bathtub, which started peeling off the base. He let me know that it needed to be resurfaced and that they would get back to me tomorrow. The next week, when I heard nothing, I found that they had changed management. I submitted the report again, they sent someone else out again, and they told me that they would get in touch with me. A week and a half later, I go to the office and they immediately tell me that I would need to vacate the unit for 24 hours into order to resurface, but refused to provide any kind of lodging as a result, expecting me to pay out of my pocket so they can do work that needed to be done months ago. Their reasoning is that the previous management should have done it, so they dont need to either.I was also unable to use my shower for two weeks, while I waited for their technician to show up. Ended up switching out the shower head, but I had called them every day and showed up to get them to look into it, and they threatened me with cancelling my lease and forcing me to pay the rest of the contract if I continued to pester them.There are additional issues, smaller and larger, but this review is already getting far too long.

Horrible management. Will always defer to their HOA for ALL problems. If you can help it NEVER rent there. In my building alone( in 1 years time ) there has been a shoot-out with the police and a man that was dead for over 2 weeks in his apartment. The police are here on a regular basis.
