Lived her 5 years, First 2 were perfect (great local management) Next 2 years filled with many annoyances (terrible local management). This year, 2021, Quality of life here has started to pick up. Aside from clogged sinks, toilet flapper valve replacements ... minor stuff ... In the 5 years we had one dishwasher repair, and tonight our AC failed at maintenance quitting time. A mad dash to the office to catch the guys ... WOW absolutely no hesitation ... they jumped on it, problem expertly diagnosed, 2 hours later repaired air handler was reinstalled, up and running ... very cool guys. Would have given San Paseo a 3 star review, but tonights experience it gets boosted to a 5!

Brad & the maintenance crew at San Paseo are legendary. Never received such prompt service anywhere. Promote all of them!

The San Paseo is hands down the BEST apartment community I have ever lived in. Cassie (the manager) was one of the friendliness people I have ever met and the rest of the staff were always easy going and quick to answer questions and take care of any problems I had as well. The grounds (esp the pool area) are stunning and well maintained. Cant say enough good things about this place! I only left because I moved out of state and in coming back to AZ recently, was pretty dissapointed they no longer offered 6month leases..or else I wouldve absolutely returned. Nonetheless, you cant go wrong choosing this property.

Complex is nice but the apartment manager, Brittany Caravella, is sadistic. My roommate suffered financially during COVID and her cruelty is something I will never forget. I know multiple people who moved out of San Paseo solely because of her behavior. She has a penchant for issuing fines for meaningless “infractions” (like leaving your trash can outside your door past 9AM or having furniture on your patio) while simultaneously failing to do her own job properly. A neighbor of mine moved out because Brittany kept fining them for having lights on their patio. Steer clear of this place.

My wife and I move in about a week ago. So far we really enjoyed the quiet location and all the accommodations included with the lease. The housing complex is in very nice condition and is very clean. Neighbors are all very friendly and we really appreciate the quiet hours. Housing office staff are very friendly and responsive to concerns. Cassie and Marissa are awesome.The only issue were having upon move in is the remote key fobs do not work reliably with the gates. The first sets we received do not work at all, and the second sets only seem to work intermediately with the main gates, and still do not work with the side gates.

Amazing place to call home. Been here 2 years this January and couldn’t be happier. From the friendly staff, amazing tenants and great management, it’s a well run, peaceful and safe communication through and through. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for luxury, peace and quiet and great community. Cassie, and her crew are top notch.

I’ve lived here for 8 months now and I love it. Everything is beautiful and clean and the front office staff are super friendly and helpful. Any problem I had got taken care of as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this complex.

I moved in a little over a month ago, and I have had nothing but a great time in my first apartment. What has really blown me away is how quick and efficient the maintenance team has been.I had a few issues within the first couple of weeks, but within a day of writing a maintenance request, their team would be at my door, fix the problem, and be gone. If the problem happened on a weekend, they were there Monday morning to take care of it immediately! With the warm spring and hot summer approaching, they even check in with me about my A/C filters to ensure they are ready to take on the upcoming heat.

A great place to call “home”. The staff always greet you with smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problem that arise. The grounds and facilities are always kept clean by friendly and courteous workers. Very beautiful and safe location.

I have been living at San Paseo for a few weeks and I love it. The location is great and it is a very quiet community. I am looking forward to golfing at the Arizona Grand where I get a 20% discount for living here. The staff at the office is always helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to staying here for a long time.

I spent 2 years at San Paseo and am extremely happy with my experience. Cori and her entire staff were super accommodating and genuinely really nice people to work with. On top of that, the property is fantastic! Always clean, safe and many nice amenities.

If you prefer a more quiet but outgoing community, this is definitely the place for you. I can be picky about noises made by upstairs neighbors, but the floors seem pretty well insulated against that here. Being able to use the Arizona Grande resorts facilities is great as well, complete with fitness classes for circuit training, spin, yoga, swimming aerobics, and many others. The neighbors here are all very nice and easy-going as well; I personally am not aware of any occurrences of the typical neighbor feuding that can happen in most apartment complexes.The one thing that bothers me about this place is that during some times of the year, there can be nowhere to park if you have more than one car. When this happens to you, its very annoying, and people without handicap plates or placards will take up the handicapped spots during these times, or even park on the wheelchair divider between the handicap spaces. This really sucks if you are handicapped and end up having to park across the street at the resort. Or worse, Ive had on two separate occasions where somebody just takes my dedicated covered parking space, and I cant have them towed because theyre no longer issuing resident cards that enable you to have the towing company remove them.While that is infuriating when it occurs, most of the year you wont have this problem, and the rest of the good things Id be able to go on all day about with this place more than make up for it, so Im not going to remove any stars. Really, this place is good.Though unfortunately, this place is so good that there isnt enough vacancy to be able to move into the kind of unit that I have need of now, so its looking very likely that Im going to have to move out soon, in spite of how much Id rather stay here.

The reviewer: Retired engineers wife, moved from Michigan to Prescott Valley, Arizona 20 years ago where we still own a home. We’ve leased at San Paseo for 6 months. Above all else, we sought quality for our new “valley” home in a safe, clean area not far from our Chandler daughter and our granddaughter. We moved to the valley to be at a lower elevation for my lungs.PROS: - Quality, clean, quiet and safe small community nestled across street facing the Arizona Grand Golf and Spa Resort with Phoenix South Mountain Preserve behind which offers miles of hiking/biking mountain trails. 5 minutes to I-10. The whole apartment is of commercial grade materials; walls well insulated, doors and windows don’t leak; no drafts. We have one of the few 3 bedroom with attached 1 car garage which is uncommon for Phoenix area apartments.CONS: Mostly mature working professionals and a few retirees, not a party place. If you’re shopping price this is not the place; but if you’re looking for quality, it is. As is typical of multiple level housing, noise from above can be an issue for those who demand total silence.The grounds are maintained M-F, dumpsters are never full, same day (so far) top notch maintenance. Security gates are always closed on time.When we moved in, it seemed new, never occupied; later learning we are its third occupancy. Attention to detail to the point of extreme. By example, every screw on every light and outlet faceplate is aligned vertical, who else does that?My husband likes the outdoors so mornings and early evening he walks the AZ Grand resort property enjoying the beautiful tropical setting, friendly staff (especially “JR”, Michael and Carlos) sometimes we have a fine meal at the hotel lobby patio. Oddly, there we see and hear more wildlife than we did in the Prescott Mountains. Owls, geese, ducks, coyotes, javelina, rabbits, birds of all kinds not fearful of being underfoot (the resort and their guests encourage the birds).After investing 3 months of searching we quickly concluded Mark Taylor offered the most professionally operated apartments. Of the 4 Mark Taylor’s we interviewed, San Paseo exceeded our expectations. 6 months later the “honeymoon” is still on! Cori Bruce, manager, and her staff run a great operation!
