The only reason why I put two stars is because they were nice, besides that the pics speak for themselves. I was overcharged $150 for these poor quality nails. He told me that A regular set of nails is $120. I had 5 nails on when I arrived and was told in the end that it was a $30 service. They are familiar with the salon I typically go to because they are family, which is why I feel I was overcharged. I go to nubella nails in Philly and that’s the price I normally pay there, the difference is that it’s worth it. Unfortunately it was last minute and I couldn’t see my normal nail tech, but this place is trash and I’m overly disgusted. When he told me the price my jaw dropped, I’m never the one to argue about pricing, but this was an obvious money grab. I feel disrespected and taken as a fool. Please don’t go to this salon if you want quality work, if you’re in the Philly area go to nubella nails and ask for noodle or Loann. The rhinestones are also cheap af. They had the right one today because I know quality work, I was so angry. I told him to his face how pathetic his work was, his name is Andy by the way.

The one who worked here with the grey hair is beyond disgusting. She’s was rude and very unprofessional. Came in today to get dip powder before my flight. When I came i asked if they would be able to do it. One lady said it was fine as long as it’s only for dip powder. But unfortunately she had another client with a schedule. I asked her if she wanted me to leave and come back . She stayed “no.. the other girl will do it for you” as soon as I set down the girlWho had grey hair was beyond rude, she kept pulling my hands as if she wanted to break them. I then questioned her if this is how she does dip powder as I’ve never experience anything like her service before felt like she was short cutting. She then replied “does it look like I’m done” after her mouth open like that. I lost it and had enough. DO Not come here. Stay away from that woman who had no class, no professionalism

I LOVE this nail salon! They are so sweet and polite. Very professional and Yen (I am not sure if that’s how you spell her name) is always wonderful. I always walk out excited and so happy with how my nails look 😊

I came in and asked for a soak off with a full set coffin shape and gel polish. They used the clippers to take the nails off never soaked them off. The prices are listed on the wall and I assumed they would remain the same. When I was finished I was charged $95. That was major price inflation. I checked with many other spas and they agreed. I tried to call back and speak to the owner and many times and they refused. This was the worst experience ever and they should learn how to conduct business better and charge accordingly. Idk how this was voted best nail salon with such bad costumer service. I suggest that if you want nails that are not overpriced and are basic you go somewhere else.

Tip Top Nails is my go-to for mani-pedis in Center City Philadelphia. All technicians are personal and professional. They excel at basic nail polish, to gel polish, to intricate designs. Theyre always busy. But even when I just walk in, the wait is never long.

If it was possible to give negative stars I would. The nail tech messed up my nails and cut my skin with the nail buffer. The shape was all wrong and the nails were crooked!!! The paint was untidy. I removed them the same day.

Love this place! Its sometimes a wait but the customer service and skills make it worth it. See T he is the official nail killer... Work is ridiculously on point with his art and skills.

Loved this place. They were friendly and I felt relaxed. They had a great selection of gel nail colors and the specialist really took her time to manicure my nails - from filing evenly to removing all the cuticles. The manicure lasted a good two weeks.

I used to love going to this place! I drove 30-40 minutes paid $15 to park only to learn they open at 10:30 NOT 10 and walk ins are not welcome as advertised on their social media. There was actually a customer waiting outside as she had an appt. that’s where I learned the policy. I had been calling all morning just to find you have to cashapp a nail tech and wait outside for an appointment. Not good for business. Definitely will never return!!!

I got my nails done elsewhere earlier today and hated them. Andy did a wonderful job at re-shaping and painting them. Made them look exactly how I wanted. Also had a good conversation with him. I will be going back! Great prices too.

This was my first time getting my nails done at the salon and I loved it. Everyone was so personable down to the adorable children who came in from school. Great conversation and laughter. They made you feel comfortable. A group of beautiful people. I found my permanent go to spot.

Tip Top Nails is my go - to salon! Been a client there for 12 years. I usually see Kim but Mimi did my nails today. Fantastic job! Had a gel manicure and pedicure. I told her I had surgery on my left foot and she was very careful.Kim always does my nails really nice. I get gel polish and light glitter all the time and get a lot of compliments. Everyone there is very personable.

Have gone here twice for fills/polish changes. Both times left happy with the work done, and the prices are good. They take walk-ins and you can tip on a credit card. My nails dont last as long when I get them done here as they do at my usual place, but theyre also wayyy cheaper so i can come back and get them done whenever I want to. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Ive never even been to this place but I called to make my cousin an appointment for her Wedding and was asked Is she African American! That was completely unprofessional and so unnecessary to even ask! I wouldnt recommend spending your hard earned money HERE AT ALL😡

This was my boyfriend and I first time going to tip top nails. The experience was wonderful. Everyone was so inviting and friendly, not to mention the polished turn out of both me and my boyfriends nails and toes. I recommend this place to any and everyone. If you plan on vacationing to Philly or stopping through be sure to get your nails done at Tip Top nails.

Love this place. Laki and her husband are dope mail techs and the 2 ladies who sit in the middle are equally great. mom, possibly the owner is the sweetest thing since sugar. They offer a wide array of services including piercings, brows, waxes, and lashes. And theyre very current with the different techniques and styles of the nail game. Business is booming so an appt is recommended but not necessary.

Went to get a pedi(gel) and mani(dip powder).Was a little rough on my hands and feet. Nicked my feet twice whole clipping my cuticles and made both my pinkies bleed. Was apologized to, but doesn’t help being that it should’ve come from the person who did it.Hopefully the servicing will improve, I actually had high hopes for this place.

Im visiting from New Orleans and wanted a nice experience before going out for the evening. I called ahead to make sure that they offered hot stones and paraffin wax and I was assured that they did. So getting my toes done and no hot stones no wax. So I was lied to on the phone be the only reason I chose the place was because of the wax. Decided to cancel nails and just have the pedicure. At least my feet look decent

I have been going to this nail salon off and on for a few years and they really know how to shape the nails. Theyre prices are great and the location is good. Some employees are family members so it makes for a nice vibe. All nice ladies. Theyre also really fast and accept close to closing walk ins. Ive had some close calls when I needed my nails done and they were almost closing so I appreciate the customer service here. Their Instagram is @tiptopnailery I believe. They have great inspo pics.

I have to say this was the best decision I could have made while visiting the area. Corey did my manicure and I love it. Everyone was kind and friendly and spoke English. The price is amazing if I get back to the area I will be in again!

Kim and Yen are the best! Very cute place. Hot stones and wax come with the spa pedicure. Been going for almost ten years. There is no better place for me.

I wish I could love this place but the dip powder didn’t even last for a week. One nail literally chipped off the next day and I had to go back there to get it fixed. I don’t know was it an issue with the powder/coat/lamp quality but I usually get a solid two-week coverage. After I got one nail fixed, other ones cracked the next day. Kinda waste of money imo

Excellent service. Andy hooked me up. Visiting from DC and almost came back for a full in! My nails have lasted FOUR WEEKS. Only ONE nail lifted, and JUST barely. Three weeks before one nail broke (due to carelessness). The nail matrix and buildup was perfect. I hope I can find a place in DC to live up to this standard. Thanks for making me feel pretty Andy!

If I could give a negative star I would. I waited two hours to be seen. Then my nails were crooked as hell and so uneven. I usually get my nails done somewhere else but I wanted to try them out. This is my first and last time. Id rather do my own nails then have someone do a rushed half ass job.

Very unclean, upon my visit the employees were fast & friendly. I got a fullset & during the application of my second set of nails, I noticed that they had roaches. One almost crawled in my bag. Something told me to get out of there asap but I figured since i was halfway through, I mind as well let the woman finish. Today I got the nails removed just to find fungus growing underneath the acrylic. They obviously dont clean & sterilize their equipment properly. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Definitely my first & last visit.

I give them one star when I should give them none. I recently got my nails done this past weekend, literally THREE days ago. I got the chrome (gel) polish over my acrylic overlay and paid $50 for them. It is now Wednesday and 5 nails already have chipped polish that is peeling off. I havent done excessive cleaning or anything damaging to my nails during this three day duration. When I contacted the salon, they told me per phone conversation that I could come in for a FREE POLISH CHANGE SERVICE. Literally 15 minutes later, after walking from work, they refused that service, stating that it had been too long, though one of the young women I spoke with confirmed that she was the one who told me about the free polish change. I was overpriced with poor quality and that is a narrative of many shops downtown that ride on the coat-tails of being downtown salons.

If I could have given a negative star they would have gotten it. First they are slow as heck, you walk in and ask what services you want and they won’t even start a chair for you. I just waited for an hour only to get up and leave because I couldn’t take it anymore. I only utilize this location because I work across the street and it’s convienent, but if you want your nails and feet done properly I would not visit them. Half of the techs have no clue how to even properly do a mani or pedi, you will still have dead skin on your feet and your cuticles will still be rough. Overall, while they may be friendly it’s simply not worth it.

Love this place! Stopped in for my 2nd pedicure and as usual they did an awesome job! I then decided I wanted to try individual eyelash extensions, I was a little apprehensive because I had never tried them before, and always see girls with that clumpy glue look (wanted know parts of that). Anyway...they were applied by a guy name Tony and when it was over, I was so impressed! They look so naturally long; you cant even tell they are extensions.Also, they last about 2 weeks with proper care and haven’t harmed my natural lash.Id suggest getting them for special occasions (prom, vacation, etc.)The price is right too!

I was pressed with time and they had me in and out. I had old acrylic taken off, new overlay with polish all done and dry within an hour. The service was great. I will be going back again.

The weakest nails Ive ever had. I waited 2 hours to be served and asked for Bio Gel, they gave me UV gel (45 $ ). 12 hours later a first nail broke. 1 day later a second nail broke smh. The gel is so weak, my nails bend !!!And I am very carefull with my nails they usually last me one month when I do it in other places !! I do not recommand it !

Took me two hours to get gel manicure done because they couldnt get my acrylics off. It was a mess and not clean. My nails look bad and Im going somewhere else after work to get them fixed. Its in a shady area, just go somewhere else.
