This place is a rip off and doesnt use packing material. Very unprofessional.

Craig and his staff at Philadelphia Mailroom are FIRST CLASS. Theyve picked-up, packed and shipped numerous items for me these past couple of years from various PA auction houses. Ive always received my items in great condition with excellent packing. Best of all, their shipping prices are always extremely competitive.

Love this place! Found it by accident while looking for a notary. Lately, the post office line is down the block and the wait is excruciating. So, I come here instead! Was able to buy everything I needed to get my Christmas cards and gifts out the door. Was able to buy my books of stamps and mail all my cards, bills and letters. No crazy wait. The older gentleman was soooo nice! When I asked for a book of stamps, he took the time to show me all the cute styles they had and I got to choose what was best for me. Great store! Will not be back to the post office; this place is a gem!

This Mailroom is terrible with your packages. This is the 3rd time in the past 3 months that they have not scanned my packages properly so that they will track. I dropped off 9 packages on 2/19/21 and as of today 2/22/2021 none of them are tracking. When I called I was told it wasnt there fault. I am a small business owner and things like this can have a terrible impact on my business. Do Not take your packages here. They show no remorse and they do not try to make it right for the customer. If I could choose NO STARS it would be an understatement.

The old man that works here is very rude. As someone that just wants to drop something off you should not have to wait in line. literally this is suppose to be an alternative to usps,ups,fedex but they dont make it convenient at all. the old guy should be fired and make a drop off place for items. you cant even ask a question without the guy saying the line is back there, the line is back thereover and over. I saw this happened to multiple people not just me. He doesnt even let anyone get a word out. I even saw multiple people leave because of how rude he was and having to wait just to drop something off (no receipt needed).

I didn’t know I could have a bad experience getting my fingerprints done.

A nice place to ship items. The employees seem, cordial, professional, and nice and they even have snacks and refreshments that are available for purchase. They also didnt have a long line when I came in to ship my item .

Nice staff but what USPS charges me $8 to ship, they charged me $14. That is almost double and while they are nice, I cant pay double for shipping because it cuts into the profits I make from my customers I ship to. No way should anyone have to pay $14 to ship a feather light12x12 canvas panel. I know they have to make a profit but that is a lot however, if you want to avoid the long lines at the post office, this place may be for you. It is convenient.

I use the mailroom on a consistent basis. Never had a problem with shipping or otherwise. Today, I attempted to track a pkg I dropped off for mailing and was unable to locate it. Gave the staff my info. Received a call back informing me of exactly where pkg was going and when it would arrive. Excellent customer service!

Dealt with them just once. Asked for a quote on an inexpensive painting to be shipped 150 miles. Got quote of $115 for pick up, packaging and shipping. Well, so much for a quote, they charged me $315!!! Packaging was terrible. I could of hired an Uber driver to pick up and deliver cheaper. What a rip-off! Never returned my emails asking why? Stay away.

If you like having to fight for a parking spot and paying extortionate prices for shipping boxes ($6 for a single small appliance box), then this place is for you. I sell online to earn a profit, not to be handing over my profit to a place like this. Would give zero stars if I could.

While the staff is friendly, the shipping is overpriced. There were only two shipping options given and they did not honor the postage on the flat rate boxes. While I understand they are a business and they need to make a profit, charging 30.00 for a package that should have shipped for 16.00 is exorbitant. I came home and checked and the prices were at times double what the USPS charges. I get that it is a convenience but your fees are outlandish. I came out of there thinking I was the idiot for not charging the correct shipping charges - when I went home I realized it wasnt my shipping charges, but my trust in a local business. Next time I will brave the post office, because I certainly will never ship with this place again.

Beyond overpriced.An item I shipped that should have been sent for around $16-$17 via UPS cost over $36 to send to Tennessee. I thought maybe I didn’t do something correctly and was wrong in my estimate.Two days later I take back another package that was larger and am quoted between $57-$63 to send to North Carolina via UPS. Took the package over to the post office and with a faster delivery time I only paid $31.15.I understand a slight markup but this is highway robbery. My items were already packaged. I would rather wait in line. They are not competitive with UPS as they state. Because upon contacting them with the size and weight regular UPS shipping was comparable to regular USPS post office pricing.

*BE WARNED* This was the worst shipping experience I have ever encountered. Firstly, this company over prices their shipping cost and charges you over double what the actual cost is!! Secondly they refuse to ship flat rate. Thirdly, and here is the real ice breaker, they did not include any packing material for my item. Just placed it in a box and let it smash all over the place until it arrived to me. Do not use this service!!!

I went in there 9/28/18 both Craig and Barry were there i’ve been going there for years they did not great me they would not looke at me or open their mouths yo talk to be if they think they are the only ones around their WRONG NEVER SAID THANKS or goodby. i will not be treated like a second class citizen i left the owner a voice mail about how they treated me but if they could treat me like that i’m sure they really don’t care

First of all, this place is a rip off. They charge anywhere from $10 or more than you would pay at a UPS store or Fedex locations. These people are rude and do not care about their customers. This place does NOT honor insurance claims, as they packaged my $500 Samsung Galaxy S3 and it was damaged during shipping and they said they do not want to deal with the issue. My opinion is STAY AWAY and find a UPS store or other means of shipping.

They weigh the flat rate usps priority boxes and charge you by weight. They wanted 28 dollars to ship a 13 dollar flat rate usps medium box 15 miles priority mail. What a rip off. Took it right to post office and saved 15 dollars. My 2nd package I could not imagine what he was going to charge me for that because it was 3 times as heavy as the first but it still fit in a medium flat rate box at post office and cost the same 13 dollars because thats what flat rate means. Whatever fits in the box bricks or bubble wrap cost the same price anywhere in usa. Also they charged the guy in front of me 50 dollars to ship a cardboard envelope overnight to Wisconsin . Poor guy.

My mother referred me to the mailroom. She said it was so much easier than the post office. Once I started going to the mailroom, I loved it the people are nice and its so much easier than the post office. 5 stars for the mailroom :) THE MAILROOM IS THE BEST!!!!

Worst shipper I ever worked with. Extremely expensive. Company was assigned to pick up, pack and ship auction items. Goods were damaged due to insufficient protection, yet PMR denies responsibility and refuses to file an insurance claim. Never again.

1st - Charged me for one day shipping and $50 insurance when I didnt ask nor needed either for my package shipped USPS but simple said no rush using regular mail.2nd - Price for my UPS ground package was $10 more than my normal delivery place which was closed.3rd - USPS certified letter to 2 miles away was ($5.48) with return receipt ($4.48) which was much higher than the post office.Needless to say I wont be using their services again. especially after the deceitful act. He appeared to be the owner or manager as well. He needs to straighten up his act including his very unorganized and cluttered areas behind the counter that are in customers viewing. Makes you wonder if your package will be misplaced.
