Washing comforters and knit blankets is job most suitable for commercial laundry machines but certainly didn’t expect a single washer capable of handling a lot of 7 comforters and knit blankets when I stumbled upon Big G. Imagine this capacity is common in hotels and hospitals so likely nothing new or anything to be geeked about but I am. In less than 50 minutes I washed and dried 7 Queen-sized comforters. Amazing. In a good day, It takes 50 minutes to dry a single comforter at home. Big G’s is clean, affordable, conveniently located, and family friendly. There’s a children’s corner with an assortment of books, US Map and other academic posters, and a television programmed to Nick or Disney that we explored while waiting for our load to finish. I’d give them 5 stars if there was a parking lot. Street parking is scarce as this is a busy commercial street so be prepared to walk a block.

The laundromat is absolutely clean, spacious and has fair prices along with free dry, prices also vary on how many clothes you got but its the best laundromat in germantown by far.

This place is okay. The staff are not really helpful at all. They tell you if you mess up with the machines its on you because you have to pay attention. And also there is free dryers. HOWEVER WHEN YOU GO PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR IGNORANT PEOPLE TO ARGUE YOU DOWN. AND also the card system is cool. I wouldnt come back again on a sunday after 3.

This place is awesome. Multiple sized machines; large number of washers and dryers; free drying after washing; attendants on site to assist; the attendants keep the machines and grounds clean. Parking in the rear. Cards operate the laundry machines and the vending machines. Large dollar change machine is on site near the card purchase and value add machines. Can use debit or credit cards to add value. Big G Laundry is close to refreshments and shopping.

I really like this place I can wash up everything at one time and the dryers are big and free.

Im new to the area but I dont like the place. Theres only 1 bathroom, 3 TV sets the dryer has a 20 minute limit and doesnt get hot enough so you have to do it 2 or more times...BUT...its free. The laundry is crowded and needs more seats overall I give it a 3 because its somewhat clean despite the crowd

The owner or manager is never there !! I have an laundry card for the machines with money that didn’t work I asked the workers who was there about the issue I had I couldn’t get a refund so I had to purchase another card and put more money on it couldn’t get a refund I was told to come back in the daytime to get a refund!! Came in the daytime and it was same thing didn’t get my refund for the laundry car that didn’t work!! My experience wasn’t good at all

Horrible, since COVID has started this place has been packed beyond capacity, they have no limit on how many people can come in at a time, I e been here over an hour I haven’t a staff wipe a washer down they just keep sweeping fake cleaning up, when I asked to get my money back they told me I’d have to wait for the owners to give me my money next they cannot do anything about it. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE

Go very early or late especially on weekends of you want easy access to washers and dryers. It gets pretty full on and off

I have sometimes been using the areas laundromat off and on for over ten (10) years. Just wanted to give this site a chance. They really have a much more selective popular use of machines (different sizes in height and poundage),the entertainment is more up-to-date, a courteous attendant and the location is fantastic (behind Rite aid) huge, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The service of payment has changed from CASH(coins) to the new Personal Laundry Card from the new activation machines.

I use to be a huge fan of this place, but it has been going down hill. Some of the attendants are just rude, the machines have a nasty smell and they recently went up on their prices and are no longer affordable. I will be driving a little further and spending the same amount, but will be in a better environment from now on.

This laundromat is fairly new. Its been up for abt 3 or 4 years now. Its VERY big and spacious with lots of machines(both washing and drying). The employees are really down to earth and easy to work with. They offer you a card to use to put money on to wash and dry with(they dont accept cash) which I like. The atmosphere is really cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Theres a seating area to eat and drink, vending machines to buy from, televisions for entertainment and they also sell detergent and laundry bags. They always have events and raffles that they do to give back to their customers. Its truly a comfortable space to do laundry. I highly recommend it.

Bad experience! I use the laundromat to wash comforters or if pressed for time and cant wash at home, i used this laundromat when it 1st opened and was satisfied with service, but noticed now washers prices have increased (now 3.89 +) and services dropped. washers 5,6,7 switched to DELICATE cycle, alerted attendant since I didnt want my towels washed on gentle cycle but he said there was nothing he could do. Annoyed, I asked for the phone number to management and told him it was not right I should have to rewash those 3 washers (the larger washers ok) and would be leaving negative feedback; he said if I rewashed them come get him first and please dont say anything negative about Ron...Ron smiled but was absolutely useless he did stop his personal conversation, come inside and ask someone for the phone number. cost me almost $30.00 for 4 washers with free dry?! Ridiculous!!!

Nobody likes to do laundry but Nicci is the nicest person who works here. Every time me and my girlfriend come in to drop off our laundry she is always there to greet us with a huge smile! We look forward to doing our laundry there because of her! She takes customer service to a whole new level.

Love this Laundromat. Very clean establishment, friendly & helpful staff. They do offer drop off laundry services. Lots of washers and dryers and drying is free. However I wouldn’t suggest a Sunday early evening because it is PACKED at that time. Restrooms are available, a play area for children and free parking behind the building.

Spacious and clean. At first I thought the prices were a little high but it does come with free dryer time. Only complaint...There are always unsupervised children running around and toys all over the floor (despite having a designated area with toys/TV for kids)...Even at midnight! 😒😡 Other than those damn children its a nice, large, safe place to do laundry lol.

I took a family member, I had not been to a laundry in years. They have ready big machine that cost $7.00 and some smaller ones too. The dryers are free, tvs to watch while you wait. Drop-off and pick up service, All kinds of good things that were not around when I was going to the laundry.I suggest you buy your detergent and clean supplies before you go and take them with you. The forices for those items are very expensive.

Staff couldn’t instruct me on how to use the laundry machines and were generally a bit rude. The security guard (it’s a laundromat - not sure why you need one?) then accused me of stealing a cell phone after being there for maybe 5 minutes. No thanks.

This place is right around the corner from where I live. Great environment, its best to go during the week, but Sunday nights at around 8 can be a good time to go too. The staff make sure to keep the place clean. And the dryers are free!

The place itself is ok. But my experience today was trash due to the disrespectful lightskin woman working there I didnt get her name. I asked her a question about the vending machine I was trying to buy a laundry bag the vending machine did not take cash I tried my card twice but it said error I asked this lady did she know if the vending machine was working or not? Very unprofessional response Oh I dont know I cant help you hun I dont know what to tell you. First of all Im not your hun we were probably the same age. I let that one slide I went and asked the guy working can I buy a bag from over the counter. He wasnt much help at all he said they dont sell bags from over the counter I would have to buy one from the vending machine.Which is stupid why have bags hanging up as if they were for sale but when someone asks your response is we dont sell them. Here comes that same worker as Im talking to the guy she butts in the convo saying oh I already told her the vending machine wasnt working. Like Ms how you dismiss the conversation then try to jump in this one. The guy just sitting there looking stupid both of them need to work on their people skills. Their customer service was trash. Put an out of service sign on the vending machine that way you wont have to worry about someone asking you this question!
