Helpful friendly staff! LOVE LOVE LOVE the rental at 908 Brighton Place Ocean City! A family tradition

Used Fox in 2019 for a 2 week rental with no issues. Used them again in 2020 for a rental across the street on Asbury for a 2 week rental in August. We were told the property would be cleaned to CDC standards. What a joke.The place was Dirty. Food under the beds, Carpets and Furniture were dirty etc etc. We had family coming later in the day so we cleaned and sanitized the place ourselves. We paid well over $5000.00 for this 2 week rental and expected to be clean. We let Fox know in our exit paperwork and never heard a word from them We will never use them again.

I dont go on vacation often, its an expensive luxury I cant afford but once every couple years. So I was really looking forward to spending a week at beach in OCNJ with my mom, daughter, grandmother, wife, and brother.We rented a house from fox real estate for $3000, a 6 day rental. It was a beautiful home in the pictures, and I was really expecting it to be top notch. When we arrived, however, my heart sank. Directly next door to our lovely vacation rental was a sprawling new construction project deep into the framing phrase of the job.I immediately knew that it was going to be a difficult week. My daughter is one year old and needs to nap often, my grandmother is 83 and also needs to nap often. During the hours of construction, this became nearly impossible. In addition, one of everybodys favorite things about going to the shore is having a relaxing time with family sitting on the front porch. This tried-and-true tradition became next to Impossible with the constant Roar of circular saws, pneumatic nailers, and heavy framing hammers- not to mention the constant blaring air compressor and Diesel high lift fork truck.I totally understand the need for construction. New homes have to be built. And I have absolutely no issue with that. My issue is that Fox Realty was 100% aware that we would be trying to enjoy our vacation next to this loud construction site, and chose not to tell us. If they had told me, I would absolutely not have rented this home and chosen one of the many others that they had. This wasnt a last-minute rental either. We rented this house about 14 months in advance.At this point, I dont at all expect them to try and rectify the situation, though we have reached out to them asking to either be moved to a different rental, or at least partially reimbursed, to no avail.My only hope in writing this review is that your vacation does not get ruined in the way that ours was. Be sure to ask them if something like this is going on next to the house that youre paying thousands of dollars for, even better, consider finding any other real estate and rental company to book your stay with because I do not believe this agency has the best interests of its clients in mind.

Denise Kruk at Fox Real Estate is the absolute best! We needed a last-minute rental. Everyone else we called told us it couldnt be done. Denise called us right away with a couple of great, affordable options and we found a place thats perfect. She was really fast with the paperwork, too. We highly recommend Denise for sales and rentals in Ocean City.

Amazing, Family has been coming to OCNJ for over 50 years and NEVER, EVER did we experience a situation like this. We spent hours cleaning before we departed, all of our family chipping in and we were accused of leaving the place dirty. I seriously doubt any family does more to leave a property as good as and in this case better than we found it. I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER rent through Fox again. Too many other choices.

Be careful when renting with Gary Jessel the broker at Fox Realty. I recently rented a 2 week stay this summer at one of his properties only to be told I didnt have first dibs next year for the same property as is the rule. He just promised the property to some other family next year. I have been renting with Fox Realty for many years but not anymore as this proves he doesnt value loyal repeat customers.

This real estate agency rented us a home for a week that had a glass smoking pipe that wreaked of weed left in the home. The home was a total slum, broken glass on the floor, broken door locks, outlet covers missing, etc. The real estate agent told us not to report the the pipe to police. There were also security cameras all over the property including INSIDE the house that was NOT disclosed to us. This is creepy and potentially illegal to be recording your tenants inside the home while on vacation. The agent did nothing to resolve the disaster of a rental, nor provide the landlords contact information to us. Please stay away from Fox Real Estate!

So i rented a condo in O.C New Jersey through Fox for a week upon arrival the air conditioner was now working the room was about 80° so we called to notify them of the problem. Sunday the room reached 92° which was way to hot so my family could not sleep in the unit so i went home for the night and my wife stayed with other family members also in O C. Monday no better 84°. Called again finally had a repair man come in to fix it at around 6pm. After about an hour he said it might get better no garuntees. It was still around 80° in the condo til about midnight when it finally started to cool off. The rest of the week was ok after that. So we requested some money back since the first three day were ruined. What do we get sorry for your inconveinience but no refund. Well thats the last time i do that.

I have been coming to Ocean City, New Jersey for years and usually used Fox Realty. I contacted them about the unit that we rented from them and sent them pictures to show the filth. Not once was there an attempt to contact me about any of the issues we experienced.
