Very poor construction on newly remodeled apartments in renovations are only lipstick and mascara. The apartments were not actually updated. Outside area of apartments is not very well maintained there is always trash everywhere which makes me not even want to have guests over. Very poor energy efficiency apartments. Multiple hidden fees when making your monthly rent payments. I signed a one-year lease and will definitely not be renewing it especially considering theyre just going to raise my rent next time.

So, moving in for me was such a harder experience I’ve ever had; I was thrown for a loop a couple times, I applied to move in in April and it is now may, during those times I wanted to move apartments so the first time was my fault but I was still supposed to move out in April but was told the tenant wanted to stay so I can’t move in..... so this happened about one to two more times; then the apartment I wanted to move in to the previous tenant had issues with paying her bills I guess with Covid and all but I had to go through extra steps because of the previous tenants mistakes... Sooo that was very very very nerve wracking and annoying but the only reason I gave this place five stars is because or the leasing agents. Most of everything I went through they informed me that it was not their fault and they would do the best they could to help me which was very reassuring, with every problem I had they reassured me and had my back so I didn’t have to stress so much. Erika was mostly the one helping us and right from the start she’s very friendly and attentive, she worked very hard for us to move in at the time we wanted and I appreciate all that she and Danielle has done because if this was with any other apartment I would have left after the first mishap. Now this is my second day here and I’ll update later.

This was one of the best experiences Ive ever had. Erika is awesome she was so helpful and answered every question or concern i had. She made the process so smooth would definitely recommend.

Let me start out by saying thank you to Erika! She is the best by far. You can email and she will get right back to you without a problem. She answers all your questions she is so polite, respectful, her customer service is excellent, she is on point about everything and will always make sure you are satisfied with everything. I love it here so far. Definitely spacious and clean. Minor little stuff that maintenance fixed right away thank you for that. Love the upgrade kitchen, closet space. Only thing they need to do is upgrade the windows they are old and rusty. But Other than that nice place to call home!

Erika and Danielle were on completely different pages. Definitely not the nicest of places and there was always garbage around. The only good thing about this place was that you could walk to the gas station across the street.Only once you have crossed off all other options should you consider living here.

Great community close to so many stores and easy accessible to major roads. The layout is amazing, spacious and homey. The staff are friendly, helpful, professional & always available. Charlotte from management was very professional assisting me in all my needs. The apt was clean, well maintained, bug free, I could go on!! I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone.

Erika was really nice to talk to over the phone. I’m coming from out of state and she really comforted me and gave me a virtual tour that makes me happy to actually come visit. I love that she says there’s a pool and can’t wait until next years pool season to have fun!!

No one knows what they are doing here.They sent an email saying it would not be open to covid. A week later, the pool gets filled. Yet it is closed. But its full??complete BS to blame it on the rona since all other complex pools are open. Idk if they had staffing issues or equipment issues but they gave up and blamed it on the rona.

This place is a hot mess. From constant maintenance call for things that should have been fixed before moving in. To mice infestation. Definitely will not be staying here.

The pool is absolutely my favorite feature of the community! Its clean and I saw people there which means that they love it as well. Erika was really nice and toured with me twice so far! My wife and I are considering applying in October.

Erika has been great to work with throughout the pre-rental and rental process. She responds quickly to any problems and gets them solved while providing updates.The Winchester Walk Apartments on 2600 Welsh Road have an intimate fitness center, access to a pool, and cant forget the living room that comes with an AC. Ample space in the apartment and plenty of shops nearby for most of your needs.

I love the way the community looks! I love the private entry! The girls in the office are really nice as well. I toured with Erika. I love the garage I just wish I had the whole thing to myself lol but that’s just me being greedy! I hope they have something for me in January when I am looking to start my process.

I have lived at Winchester Walk for a year and a half now and have nothing but good things to say. I moved into a one bedroom upgraded model and absolutely love my apartment. I was able to choose a color to have an accent wall, which went perfectly with my new furniture. All my appliances and bathroom furniture were brand new when I moved in. Any maintenance request I have needed to submit were answered in a timely manor. I adore the leasing office staff. Danielle and Charlotte are the best up there. I love the court yard out front because my dogs are able to play while avoiding the main sidewalk and road. I would recommend Winchester Walk to anyone looking for a quiet and cozy place to live.

A great apartment community to live in. Charlotte in Management is very professional, courteous and welcoming. Taking care of my needs as a resident. Under management of the complex you will find that operations run smoothly from the responsiveness of the maintenance staff to questions within the leasing office. Reasonably priced, accessible to many community amenities and close to major roadways.

There has been wonderful communication throughout our entire process from going on the tour with Erika to her answering any little questions we had about the application. If you’re looking for responsive apartments and actually decent and recently renovated apartments this is the place to go.

Erika Harrison was AMAZING! I called in to get more information on Winchester Walk. Erika offered to do a tour with me over the phone which was so helpful. Unfortunately, there were no homes available for month to month so she suggested I do an air bnb while I waited to close on my house. I loved the pool at the community which is why I first called.

This place is by far one of the best places to live in the Northeast nice pool also the gym is great super sweet ladies in the office helpful when you call or go in great maintenance quick when you put a work order in they keep the grounds clean .. nothing but a 5 star experience..

Im so happy to have made the decision to tour with Winchester walk. Erika, who is really down to earth, was so delightful and pleasant and took me to see the model and made me feel at home! The property and landscaping by the office was one of my favorite features.

I have been a resident here for a year and a half and I am sure Winchester Walk is a the best value and quality apartment complex in the northeast Philadelphia area. The grounds are well kept, the maintenance staff respond quickly to issues in my apartment, and the leasing office staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. Ive never had a problem that wasnt quickly solved here.

Current mouse infestation. Have called the office many of times. The maintenance crew has done the bare minimum to fix the problem. The exterminator company that works for them is terrible. I have personally caught 20 mouse in my apartment.

I toured with Erika last week. I really enjoyed the community at Ryan especially the garages! I will be bringing my husband with me so that he can view the property and we can apply.

I love living at Winchester Walk Apartments! The office staff is courteous, professional, very helpful and very friendly. Meghan has been wonderful in assisting me in finding the perfect unit with Winchester Walk Apartments. I am relocating to Philadelphia from Southern California, and she was so patient and helpful in informing me about their units, amenities, prices, and general information. She even went the extra mile in sending unit pictures to me, even though I could have found them on the website. I’m also a first time renter, so I had a ton of questions (we literally have an email thread of 50+ messages), and in no way did I ever feel rushed or pressured to apply right away. She would even respond to my emails after her work hours. I can’t say enough good things about Meghan, and I’m so excited to be apart of the Winchester Walk Apartment community. Korman Suites is a great place to live.. You have your own garage space big enough to fit a car inside and one outside. Also there is addition parking along the entrance/exit pathway, with free street parking as well. Youll never go looking for a spot to park here.. The apartment sizes are nice.. The living room and bedrooms are pretty big.. However, the kitchen and bathrooms are not the largest in size. The rent is pretty high, but overall I feel its worth living here.

Ill be a future resident of Winchester walk community. Met with Erica who made things run so smoothly couldnt ask for a better helper. Love the the kitchen layout.

I have been a resident here since 2012 and I have nothing but great things to say! We recently got our apartment upgraded while living here and love the way it looks. If you are looking for a place to call home I highly recommend Winchester Walk!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT WITH THIS PLACE.The Newley renovated apartments look very nice but do not let that fool you. My husband and I signed a lease for a year and I regret ever signing that lease. The problems began from the beginning. The windows are so old that they are broken and didn’t even open. The sink vanity in the bathroom on the bottom was molding/rotting away, when I informed maintenance they simply NAILED a fresh piece of wood over the problem. A few months later this yellowish smelly funky stuff started leaking threw our bathroom ceiling when we would shower to the point where it was leaking on you as you showered. When I informed the property manager that mold was seeping threw my ceiling she insisted it was not mold and more or less insinuated that I was crazy. I still have emails to prove it. Maintenance entered my apartment several times without permission causing my security system to go off while my husband and I were at work. In the summer time, the amount of bugs that somehow get into the apartment is beyond gross. When it started to get colder out, we started to notice mice. DISGUSTING!! We called the office and an exterminator came out and we didn’t really notice them much anymore...so we thought until we started to gather our things and move out. Behind our furniture, in our oven, closets, etc MOUSE POOP AND TONS OF IT!!! On top of that, the holes that the mice chewed into our carpets and into the floor boards of the apartment. When it came to getting our security deposit back we more or less got robbed. Even threw all of these problems my husband always paid rent a week or sometimes even 2 weeks BEFORE it was due. For 3 little stains in our carpets, they charged us 700$ to replace. When I mentioned to Danielle whom is the property manager I didn’t think it was fair we were being charged 700$ for 3 simple stains when there was mouse poop EMBEDED into my carpets, or the holes they chewed in them, she responded with “we aren’t replacing them because of that, we are replacing them because of the stains” so I guess they would move people into a unit that they rent for 1100$ a month with mouse holes and mouse poop in carpets?! Because they were more worried about 3 little stains than that. Beware and rent at your own risk. By far the worst apartment building I’ve ever lived in!!! And ran by the crappiest management team who are only after your money!!!

My mother is a senior citizen and lives here. The staff is always so patient and friendly with her. She loves it and has nothing but good things to say.

Unfortunately, I was forced to put 1 star by google in order to post a review. Winchester Walk Apartments is one of the worst places to live. My daughter moved in October 2017 and its been nothing but stress for the both of us. Management is very unprofessional and dont want to do their job to make sure things get fixed properly. They never changed my daughters toilet seat when she moved in she had to request for a new one. They have a fan heating system that they claim is new, but my daughter has a one bedroom apartment and her PGW bill was $113.00 last month and $153.00 this month thats not normal. I asked for her thermostat to be changed. They changed it, but that was not the problem. Im requesting for PGW to come out to evaluate this ongoing problem. On 01/12/2018 My daughter couldnt get into the entry door of her apartment for about 20 minutes. We called the 24 hour emergency line 4 times and no one contacted my daughter yet. We both sent emails to Danielle the assistant manager as well still no response.

Glad I choose this property. Clean, Quiet, and my family and I feel safe here. The property staff is awesome! Been here for 7 months and have had any problems.

This was the only complex that accepted my Boxer Baby who is 55 lbs unlike other places that have a 20-30lb weight limit. Andd the garage parking really came in handy this year with all of the snow storms.

Our Experience here at Winchester Walk has been a nightmare. Prior to moving to Winchester walk we were in a very unfortunate situation our old apartment was infested with mice...When we came to Winchester walk we communicated our needs and how important it was that we be somewhere without rodents considering all we had went through. The young lady here assured us there was no rodent problem well 2 months ago we were catching one almost every day and they were EVERYWHERE when I called the front office I was told “this is the Philadelphia” as if Philadelphia is supposed to be infested with mice. The manager Danielle Asked me did I want the exterminator to come, at first I was ecstatic but then she followed up by saying he could come the following week because he had already been here this week. At that moment I knew we were not priority at Winchester walk when the exterminator finally came they put down some traps that the mice never even stepped on thank goodness we had our own traps. We also got the bad apple in the complex because we live on top of the maintenance office, when we’re home we hear their loud, obnoxious conversations sometimes it feels like your right next to them. One of them is always staring at me giving me the look of death like he is trying to intimidate me this has been going on for months so today I finally said something. I told his co worker and also called the manager. My husband went to the office as well and when he got there he asked if she could call him it appeared as if she never even spoke to the individual about his actions. Who wants to live in a place where you aren’t even comfortable. Winchester walk hasn’t offered any reassurance you call with a problem and they do absolutely nothing about it. I used to live at Rushwood apartments years ago which is their sister property I don’t know how they run things down there now but when I was there it was nothing like this. I gave them 1 star because we enjoyed the pool and I really loved my kitchen in this unit. We didn’t have a garage we had two assigned parking spaces and on several occasions people have been parked in our spaces,and on top of that it’s drug infested area, I am so happy this year is over. Rent at your own risk

My girlfriend (now wife) lived at the Ryan Ave location for 3 years. I visited often and moved in toward the end. The staff was always courteous and willing to amend any issues, and maintenance was timely and efficient. Location is excellent, close to Frankford Transportation Center, Pennypack Park, Aldi (right across the street), and a 20 minute drive from the city outside of AM/PM rush hour. We would have preferred the down to earth flexibility that comes with an individual landlord (rather than a company) but the staff at least tries to treat you like family even if company policy restricts it. As for the property and living areas, I have my complaints (none major), but you wont find perfect living conditions in or around the city. Winchester Walk is a great place to start, especially if you are new to Philadelphia.

The management staff is AWESOME! The residents all get to use the fitness equiptment and business center 24/7. Ive lived here for 5+ years and I dont tplab on moving anytime soon.

WARNING to potential tenants! If you are not 100% sure you want to move into Winchester do not apply. I applied last week and my application took a day and half to get approved. Once I was approved, I was charged $500 towards my moving costs. I believe I had 72 hours (3 days) from the time I was approved to change my mind and get a refund. Incorrect, you have 72 hours (3 days) from the time you submit the application regardless if you know you will be approved or not to get the $500 refunded. Even though the office is closed on Saturdays, if your 72 hours falls on a Saturday make sure you still call or email to cancel. Be careful, they are not clear on 72 hour policy because they admitted this happens to a lot of people which is very unfair.

Do not live here. This is our first and last year here. During our lease our kitchen ceiling leaked twice. The first time was two months ago, and they had people come to “fix it”. The second time was five days ago, this time our kitchen flooded. Then it flooded again and they still haven’t sent someone to “fix it”. They water comes down through the light fixtures like a faucet, down from above the microwave, reaches to the refrigerator and flooded the stove and microwave causing fire hazards. When we told them what happened we asked them, with our lease ending soon if they could accommodate us as if we were new tenants signing a lease, giving us time to move our furniture. Even after explaining to them if it hadn’t been for the floods we would’ve just stayed at the our top unit, they said No. We asked them what if we hadn’t came home and it caused further damage, to which they replied “we can not discuss hypothetical situations.”Regretfully we decided to call them back, right after I told Megan our apartment number she says she rememberers me and that I’ll have to talk call Charlotte. I told her I did speak to Charlotte and that Charlotte says there’s nothing she can do for me and despite it, we are still considering staying there at a bottom unit and wanted to know what units were available, Megan then interrupts me and says Charlotte will be in the office 9-5 tomorrow/Monday.

I love this place its very comfortable especially and the staff are very helpful and understanding would recommend others to rent here a little pricey but worth it I might stay another year lets see

I didnt want to give one star but was required by google. This place is horrible. I moved in October 13th 2017 Dave gave me keys and then Lisa the manager tried to say I owed money two months later because of an error on Dave Fallon endsDave Fallon make it too look nice to move in and it turns out it was horrible he also stated bills were cheap. This is the worst community to live !!!! The heating dont work and the windows are very drafty. More wind comes in then your heat. The water was orange and was reported multiple times to Lisa and before the videos of me recording it they talked bad about me to charlotte and the team about me making up it being orange. Which charlotte repeated conversations when I visited her at 2600 welsh The tub turns orange and they want you to pay 278.00 to get it glazed over. Danielle acts nice who is the assistant manager and then become frustrated for your work request. The heating bill is 152 or more per month due to the draft they prefer you to buy plastic when they can install it themselves.you have to pay for trash removal, sewer you never get a water bill they just tell you off hand what you owe. Maintenance smokes cigarettes all day and gives attitudes when fixing something. They are not use to a tenet who cares about the way they live and their property. Because they never had tenets with concern with anything that reports as much as I do . This place is presented to look well but the office sucks and so do management and maintence . Their gym is small and they have a lot of residents wasnt shown the pool or gym by Dave Fallon. When you call them they barely ever respond and when they do with an attitude especially Danielle. And Gary is a supervisor who complains about his job and gives you or whomever you have accompany while he works an issue. Its horrible here !!!!!!! Dont move here. Beautiful apartments elsewhere Im not renewing my lease ... wish I never started this one. Its pathetic!!!!!!!! And its very clogged and slow draining . Its just a mess talking about it gets me sick!!!!! Do not move here .Sincerely current tenant 2018

Worst experience ever. Me and my boyfriend were ready to move in after our leasing consultant Wendy said we were getting a good deal,we would save on first months rent etc. But prior to move in day I could never reach her when I had questions, she was either out of the office or on vacation. She told us we needed a particular amount of money to move in but when we arrived with the expected amount ready to move in she said we needed double then last time. Our welcome letter wasnt exactly specific and she failed to explain while we came for our first visit and the few times we spoke on the phone. And we lost out on $500, she did not tell us it was nonrefundable. She just said put $500 now to save ur spot. Im sort of glad this happened before we signed the contract, it would have been a 12month headache. I would not recommend this place to anyone,if your consultant cannot explain things fully or not easily reached then your going to have an unpleasant experience.THUMBS DOWN

DO NOT rent here. I was shown an apartment and rushed through the tour because the leasing agent did not want me to see all of the problems the unit had. Upon me obtaining the key to the apartment I noticed that there was paint chipping all over the ceiling and the chipped paint revealed yellow stains underneath the fresh off-white paint. Also upon me getting the key to the apartment the door came off the hinges and did not close properly, i notified the leasing office and they took 2 weeks to replace it, 2 weeks of which I could not live in the apartment because the door didnt lock properly. Also i noticed that the tub had rust stains in it and the window seals had dead bugs and debris caked up on them and they wear pealing and cracking and only 2 windows in the entire apartment would come open the other ones where sealed shut where maintence had painted over them before I moved in. I notified the assistant manager and she said “well the windows are a little older”. She would not replace the windows or fix the tub. There was also a strong chemical smell in the apartment something like mold or mildew. I never actually lived in the apartment I told them i could not stay there in these conditions and they were not sypathetic the manager told me i had to pay the rent until they found someone else to live in the apartment eventhough i never technically moved in. Then i had to hire a lawyer and the assistant manager Danielle is now attempting to argue with my lawyer over an apartment that i never inhabited. Its ridiculous and I dont recommend anyone rent here.

Im going to tell a brief little story About my Situation with Winchester walk Im moved in July 2st 2017th. The story starts off like this I recently got the apartment for my elderly sick father So I will be able to take care of him The 1st day the problem started. Winchester walks 2600 Welsh rd Are unprofessional When I 1st moved in Winchester walk left me my father out there for 24 hours One Of the workers in the Lease Office Never came back to let us in our apartment Due today my father ended up passing out in was left in soiled diapers Someone in my dads condition he could have died that day. I stayed in the apartment for 4 months Till the passing of my father on November the 10th 2017 And Winchester work is trying to take my dads security deposit because they said I did not give them a 30 day Notice Whats again like I said before my father passed away on November the 10th 2017th There is no way I can give you a 30 day notice with the unexpected passing. So I ended up moving out on November the 30th So I will be able to collect the last months rent and security but Winchester walk told me that they will not be given my security or my last month back because There was not a 30 day notice given to the The end of the day the parchment was in my dads name so Winchester walk is Taking money from a dead man when. These people have no remorse they dont care I all that matters to them is the money And how much money they can take from you. I recommend anyone to proceed with caution with Winchester walks They will lie to you just to get you in so they can take your money leave you high and dry.

If its Korman, its good. I moved in to my apartment 1 week after looking at it. Talk about fast and friendly! The deposit was minimal in comparison to other places ($500). The application fee was sort of free. You pay the app fee then, if approved it is applied towards your deposit. They allow a complimentary accent wall to be painted. The grounds are well kept. When it snowed, they had people out at 3 AM clearing the parking areas. They have a 1-day service guarantee however, if something breaks on Friday it may not be fixed til Monday or Tuesday. My biggest problem with this apt is the plumbing. It gets clogged all of the time. The other issue is the windows, very drafty. The mail goes in the door slot so wind comes in there as well. If it wasnt for these things, I would have renewed. They have several nice upgrade options for inside the apts but, they need to replace the windows, fix the plumbing, and get central air. I am moving next month from this place to another Korman property ( Rushwood) to a bigger apartment. The process is as simple as emailing my info to the next property. So easy and convenient. The amenities are great as well. Both apts have good amenities. The gym is updated, and they have a free bike share program!

This was a great place to live till WWR premier holding became the owner now they are the worst still have good staff members but the company it self and they way they do things here are not in the best interest of the residents.

I did not end up renting here because they did not have any two bedrooms available for my move in time frame but everyone in the office was very professional and friendly.

I tried to put up a quarter star or half a star, but one star is the lowest I can put here. Scam artists when it comes time to get your security deposit back. They will instead send you a bill for hundreds of dollars even if you knock yourself out cleaning the place. They will use your security deposit as a partial payment then bill you further.
