I was so excited to stay at this hotel based off of some great reviews. So for one night the cost was 250 + 45 for parking,at these prices your expecting a fabulous hotel. The receptionist/er π were outstanding, pleasant and ready to help you be comfortable as possible. I had to get a free upgrade d/t my room being accidentally canceled. So that was nice,so this upgrade should be spectacular right? Not At ALL, MILDEW ON THE SHOWER WALLS,THE FLOORS LOOKS AS THOUGH WATER ONLY TOUCHED WHEN THE FAUCET LEAKED. VERY OUTDATED KITCHEN,THE BALCONY area walls were scraped, marked, just very unattractive. I can say the bed was extremely comfortable, couldnt go wrong with that. Will I ever patron again, only if I cant find somewhere else.oh and the bar food that delivers sucks. Wish I could show pics
Interior remodel/Under construction. Constant crashing and other noises. Some residents have large dogs and housekeeping does not vacuum halls regularly. Security is improving. Maintenance Staffer Phil! saw need for stove vent fan replacement and decided the entire housing would be replaced also. Completed within 3hrs and it runs better, quieter and has a significantly better draw.
This place was not worth the hype. The stove was rusty. The baseboards are loose my son almost cut himself on one. The beds were not comfortable at all. The smoke detector is located right outside the bathroom and there is no ventilation in the bathroom so if you take a hot shower it will set the smoke detector off ( 3 times for us). $45 a day just for parking. Whats the point of a kitchen when there is only 2 cooking utensils and one small pot and it was dirty. Also no disktowel to wash dishes. They give you used toiletries ( conditioner was used). There was also leftover food residue in the dishwasher.
We stayed at the Windsor Suites Hotel in Philadelphia for 3 months and parked our car with the SP+ Parking valet all 3 months. During this time, we first noticed a large scratch on the back of our car where one of the valet drivers clearly backed into a pole or other car in the garage. A week later, we noticed a huge dent in the bumper on the other side. I now see some other reviews saying that their cars have been damaged by the valet drivers at other Philly locations. This is unbelievable, especially when we paid so much for parking. We filed a claim but since we had left already and didnt mention it while we were there, the company is denying our claim. Understandably so, but Im still so angry about the carelessness of the drivers. Someone wrecked our car and didnt say anything about it, and now we have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. Hire better drivers SP+, and for the people parking here: make sure you take pictures before you park so you have proof if anything happens to your car.Im leaving a 4 star review for the hotel itself but I would leave a 1 star for the parking situation.
I have to come back to Philly in a month for 1 week for my sons rehabilitation at shriners. I will be finding another hotel. On top of that rooms are old and outdated. YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER TEMPATURE. They are bringing us up portable heaters because the room is freezing and they only have AC until the season changes, then they run the heat. Thats crazy. The portable heater keep tripping the breakers. The maintenance guy is extremely rude and yelling at me for having 2 heaters in the room. I had a 2 room suite that 1 heater would not work. I am an electrician and found the circuit panel in the closet and fixed it myself. There were 6 circuits, plenty of power for 2 heaters. What ever that guy is getting paid is to much. The pictures on the website are not what you get. The place has an unwelcoming atmosphere. The front desk cant wait to get rid of you. The manager was nice but needs to learn how to listen better and understand my concern. We left the hotel after 5 mintues and never to return.
Nice, clean, Benjamin Franklin themed hotel right in the middle of Philly. Easy access to just about anywhere you want to be.Room was regular, it did come with a full kitchen and utensils however.Gym is 24/7 with everything you need.Pool hours are 8-8 with a sick view and outdoor seating. Very nice.Selling point for me was Sophie at the front desk who was pleasant all throughout the call and booking process. I was calling hotels in the area and out of all the hotels I spoke to, she by far was the best.
Average 2 star hotel in an excellent location. The bed is bouncy and you hear the springs with every turn.No chairs on the balcony. NO HOT WATER on our check -out day. No one from the front desk answers when you call from your room, so you have to call using the outside hotel number and they pick up quickly. The hvac is awful...you have to put it on 60 to get the temp to 70, and thats only if it feels like it. I chose this hotel because the Hilton Logan didnt have any available balcony rooms. Stick with the brand you know...cant go wrong with Hilton and Marriott.
A disappointing stay in the βDeluxe King Suiteβ. First, itβs just a typical hotel room, NOT a suite. No separate sitting or eating area which you would expect in a true suite. The βkitchenβ is just part of the entry hallway. Totally a joke. Secondly, the bathroom is realllly tiny, barely what youβd find in a standard hotel room, again itβs not a suite quality bathroom. Third, the tub was peeling and room decor consisted of just one small ugly print - both disgusting. Also be aware that they charge your credit card with a $250 βsecurity depositβ which they say will be returned a week after your stay. Unbelievable. Gave them an extra star for cleanliness. Wonβt ever bother to stay there again however.
The hotel is extremely clean. My room was large with a kitchenette, bar seating, and walk-in closet. The happy staff are accommodating and any of our requests were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Staying here with a pet was so easy. There is no pet fee and the staff love animals. Gym is fabulous and even has a Peloton bike. Infinity pool on the roof was beautiful. Iβve made this hotel one of my favorites on Google Maps and will be returning next time I am in town!
Was so looking forward for our 27th wedding anniversary stay with familyβ¦ air conditioner not working very well and would not get down below 75 (Canadians like it cold) they did bring fans which was very niceβ¦ everyone was very friendlyβ¦ we were told we were going to get an upgraded room then when we arrived they said sorry overbooked and we donβt have the room promised anymore. Guess I picked the wrong location this trip. :(
LOVED EVERYTHING about our visit & stay at Windsor Suites! From the excellent customer service to the spacious, clean & luxurious rooms! We stayed in the Skyline room & wow the view was just everything! The staff was so accommodating to my families needs as we celebrated our Valedictorianπ₯³
Nice place to stay when youre visiting Philadelphia. They have in kitchenette suites available for extended stays. There are two restaurants available within the Windsor. Con Murphys which is an Irish pub and Asia on the Parkway which is Chinese food. They offer valet parking for a hefty fee on top of you hotel price. The rooftop infinity swimming pool is small but nice. There is a separate sitting area with a skyline view as well. Nice place to grab some sun or enjoy a sunset.
For what the pictures present this is not it. The price is high in compasiΓ³n to what you get. The place is old and the space is bigger than average but all the extra space is just closets. I even upgraded my room to get a bigger room and it just had 2 more extra closest but the room was somos the same size. Location is good But there is also so many more hotels in the same blocks radius with way better price and space that this is useless.
I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO STEPHANIE (HOPE I SPELLED HER NAME RIGHT), AT THE GETTING DESK. SHE HAS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHES HELPING TO MAKE MY BIRTHDAY AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT A BETTER ONE. THANK YOU FOR HER! I CAN NOT WAIT TILL MY BIRTHDAY AND HOPEFULLY ILL BE WRITING ANOTHER GREAT REVIEW.
Me and my boyfriend booked a balcony suite with the jacuzzi and everything for one night while we visited the zoo and such we arrived 15 minutes early to park our car and check in. When we got to the desk to check in we were informed that even though we paid 300+ dollars for our room we needed to put a security deposit of 250 dollars down on a card which was fine until our cards were deemed not good enough to use? First it was cause my boyfriends card didnβt have a chip then it was we donβt take cash deposits then when we were going to put it on my card since it wasnβt a βcredibleβ bank we couldnβt use our other cards? I personally prefer personal banking but my choice of bank should not be judged the front desk was not accommodating and neither was the manager on duty so we had to refund our whole room wait 20 minutes for our car with all of our things and drive around prolly for 45 minutes to find a new hotel to stay at it was very in convincing and we missed our other reservations. Very in happy with a 4-5 star hotel totally garbage.
This hotel is beautiful and conveniently located to center city. A huge thank you to Tierra who made our stay memorable by providing 5 star customer service. She was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. I will be returning to stay again.
Roaches and dirty room!!! Do not stay! The location is good but the rooms are old, dirty and we saw multiple roaches and had to leave immediately. Ewww!!!
A well-earned review going to the phenomenal Robert Hilton with his follow-ups and communications in regards to us hosting an event at The Windsor. Truly appreciate your patience and all the information you provided us to make an informative decision. The Windsor team is lucky to have you onboard!!
The air conditioning in the room MUST be broken. At one point it switched over to heat. They donβt communicate that housekeeping is upon request only. Their parking situation is garbage. The room itself was so poorly constructed it was frustrated to see pencil marks from the construction left everywhere. Itβs 8am and I hear banging noises. For $500 + $250 incidental hold, this place is trash. I stayed here once and liked it but that was 3 years ago. Never again.
Do not waste your money coming here this is the worst hotel you can find in downtown Philadelphia. The valet service is ran by a very sketchy and unprofessional company, the front desk staff is very unwelcoming, they will not tell you ahead of time that they need a security deposit that is double the price of the room until you get there, and that they do not accept cash or unapproved bank cards, you will not get your 250$ security deposit back for days, the staff is very rude and has no hospitality skills or training. The rooms are very sub par and overpriced, the rooftop pool and lounge is not as it appears on their listings. Overall a terrible experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone
Rooms were nice and the rooftop pool was the best part other than that the housekeeping staff is very slow when requesting anything when we had no towels. They also had construction going on in the hotel at 7am! Overall was unhappy with the service and stay.
Great experience from start to finish. What started as a one day stay ended up staying for 4 days. Staff was very understanding with us extending our stay twice. Convient parking local stores, pubs and restaurants. Friendly atmosphere. Great balcony and view.
I enjoyed a wonderful one night stay at this Lovely property at the heart of Center City in Philadelphia. I was warmly greeted by Grace at the front desk who explained The necessary information I needed about the property including what was currently open and closed due to COVID-19. I had booked A king suite through hotels.com and when I got up to my room I saw I had been given a double . This is not the first time hotels.com has Done this to me and when I Explained the situation to Grace and showed her my confirmation she quickly moved me into the correct suite. I felt very Safe in this location as your room key is required to enter the main part of the hotel as well as to access each of the floors in the elevator . Parking was $45 for overnight, a bit steep but it is directly next to the hotel. There was no Bellman on duty But the garage attendant kindly went and got a luggage cart for me which I was able to Maneuver on the sidewalk into the property but wasnt able to get into the elevator. I cant imagine this would be an issue unless youre traveling with a large number of Suitcases. I had requested a late (noon) checkout and housekeeping knocked on my door at 11:30 to see if I had left, not a big deal to me and I didnt feel rushed. I was able to do laundry while I was there, the machines dont take quarters but instead you download an app and load money on to that with your credit card. As each wash or dry cycle is finished you get a notification on your phone which was pretty cool. Checkout was a breeze and the woman behind the desk (I believe the manager) was again friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this clean, well appointed hotel!
Upon arrival at the hotel the concierge asked questions about why we were in town which felt uncomfortable. I asked to put the security deposit on my credit card and he stated at the screen as if he didnβt know what I meant. So I just offered up my debit card- never had this issue before. Upon entering the room it appeared nice, however I had to wipe hair off of the refrigerator and in between the door of it. We left and returned for the night and realized there were no washcloths and only two drying towels- there were three of us in the two bed suite. We called starting at 8 am and were told the wash clothes were in a bin somewhere then that they were in the dryer. Donβt hotels get their laundry done at commercial washers??? Long story short we never received washcloths. The vending machine was out and I couldnβt get any water. The room next door to us were up until 3 am noisy and woke up again at 8 am with the same noise level. They stated because it was a holiday weekend the hotel was overwhelmed with needs but CMON wash towels?! Iβve stayed in hotels in tiny countries and never experienced no wash cloths. Parking was 45 dollars for the night. The 250 dollar deposit is still being held two days later and I see now it says up until 7 days when the room is inspected? LOL worst hotel I ever stayed in. Booking.com said that towels arenβt listed, but what hotel doesnβt provide them? What a joke. Stay away from this hotel.
Upon arrival there was a line to wait for valet check-in. Once the car was valeted I went inside to check in. There was another guest at the reception desk complaining that his room was not clean and there was a residue on the sheets. When I got up to my room it smelled like fish grease and it was dirty. Not only was it dirty but the ceiling in the living room area had fallen down and there was drywall on the floor. There was also food on the floor in the kitchen in the stove top had grease on it. When I went down to the reception desk they apologized and offered to move me to another room. We got into the hotel elevator and the key would not work to bring us to the floor. We went back to the desk three times afterwards to have the keys replaced as they did not work. One of the workers offered to take us to our room and bring up a set of keys later. He opened up the hotel room and asked if it was to our liking. I noticed all the cupboard doors and drawers were open in the kitchen area and I thought that was odd. I begin to look around and I saw a roach crawling up the wall. I am really told the worker thatβs it we would like a refund and we are leaving. I was told prior to the pandemic this hotel was not like this. That people are renting the hotel to have parties and get togetherβs. The hotel refunded me immediately and offered to have a manager call me. I will never ever go to this hotel again. I caution anybody that is staying there and hope that if you do stay at this hotel you check for roaches.
The room lock wasnβt broken and when I asked for another room they told me no. In addition to that the elevators were not working so walking to the sixteenth floor was unacceptable. Then when I finally got to the room. The fire alarm went off so I had to walk back down the stairwell 16 floors to get out the building only to find out that it was a false alarm. Iβm still trying to get my money back $600 a night this was definitely not worth itππΎ.
Positive: I loved how beautiful the hotel is and how nice it looks. Negative: The only thing I didnΓΒΏt like about the hotel was how it was very cold in my room. I couldnΓΒΏt really enjoy myself because my body was cold and there was nothing we couldΓΒΏve done about it due to the heat only staying on 1 temperature all day everyd
We enjoyed our stay there. Nice staff and clean room. However the parking fee was expensive.
I experienced an awful time at this hotel recently. The service is usually so great. The hold fees have changed and I was not notified before arriving for my stay. The front desk assistant was not accommodating either, I was not pleased with the service and choice of hotel room they provided me with. The A/C in my room was also broken. Unbelievable. There was also a fire alarm which was very disruptive. I was only accommodated to an extra hour of my stay the next day... I dont think I will be staying here ever again.Very disappointed,I really admired this hotel. Terrible stay.Best,Avi R.
Positive: The room was huge Negative: The sink was clogged in the bathroom, the trash wasnΓΒΏt removed from previous guests.
The staff at the Windsor always has a great and positive attitude. They were very professional and very attentive to our needs. Our stay at the Windsor Suites is always a comfortable and peaceful stay. Special thanks to Stephanie, Leah and Ivy
Positive: The location was the best part Negative: The smell of marijuana throughout the elevators and floor The tv was messed up and when a staff member came to fix it he was complaining about other staff members. The overnight parking fee is beyond ridiculous
How grateful I am to have an opportunity to stay in this wonderful hotel! Last week, I stayed here for 3 days. I was so content and satisfied with the experience that I gained when I stayed here. I thanked your staves for treating me professionally. You keep up the excellent services, guys. Until next time! Highly recommended!
Positive: Love the location and the staff is always awesome! Negative: Not enough TV channels.
This is a very nice hotel with awesome suites. My recent stay was enjoyable. It was nice, especially since I work from home and I wanted a change of scenery. I logged on to my work laptops with no problem using the Wi-Fi, but my phones were an issue .This place seems to attract a young crowd. Thats a negative for me, but on my recent stay it wasnt too bad.I would stay here again just not on a Thursday thru Saturday. Next time Ill try a Tuesday.Very nice front desk staff. ππ½
One of the worst experiences ever. My safe did not work, they sent the repair man 10 mins before I was checking out . The pillows had dirt stains all over them. They put them in the back of all the others so they thought we couldnβt see it . Our key cards got deactivated for 20 mins into the stay and then they only replaced one saying βthe lock died and they have to recharge itβ for a suite my bedroom is literally bigger than that room . Never again.
I really like this hotel its really pretty and i would definitely come here again.
NON-ACCOMODATING & UNHELPFULI booked a reservation at this hotel for one night through βHotels Tonightβ app. After driving 2 hours from New York to Philly - I thought this hotel would be a great place to rest (I was sold on the Pet accommodations). While in New York, i lost my wallet (which included credit cards and ID) displacing any Identification I owned.I arrived at the hotel with my partner, and was told I could not check-in without ID (totally understandable). I do have a Temporary State ID which I got from PA Department of Drivers Licensing - which is a official Drivers License from the state. I was told, that also is unacceptable. At this point, I was confused because I already paid for the room fully and did not understand how and official documents from the state (which worked in New York) was not valid in my home state of Pennsylvania. At this point I started losing patience and asked the young man behind the desk to speak with his manager. I explained my issue to the manager, who at first seemed like she would help. Then she said, βThere is nothing we can doβ. In desperation and extreme tiredness, I asked if could change the reservation to my partners name since I already paid for the room. She said sure, but he would be required to pay $250 deposit on a βbank issued credit cardβ. My partner was not prepared to pay such a large amount and was told that none of his credit cards would be acceptable. I was insulted how unaccomodating the staff was to me as they offered no solution at all.I called hotel tonight and asked that they cancel the reservation which they did, without penalty. I called aLoft hotel (which was a bit more pricey - but did offer pet accommodations). I wanted to very that there would be no issues with my ID prior to making the reservation. The gentlemen I spoke with said, βIf both of your names are on the reservation, either one of you could pay the incidentals deposit without any issues. This gentleman offered a solution to me when the staff at Windsor simply would not. I booked with Windsor. To close the loop, I called Windsor to ask if the process recommended to me by aLoft would be acceptable. The young man on the phone replied, βYesβ.What upset me the most was that I was insulted at how the staff at Windsor offered no solution to me. After driving so long, I thought they would do whatever they could to help. Additionally, why did I have to call another hotel to get assistance which Windsor easily could have provided. I will NEVER book anything with Windsor in the future. I would also mention that if your looking to be accommodated during your hotel visit, stay away from Windsor Suite. They are hardly sweet and very unhelpful!
Positive: The room was nice Negative: I already booked the room, but when i arrived they said my card couldnΓΒ’Γ’β¬ÒβΒ’t be used.
The View was nice the parking was nice but the concierge was very Ignorant because of a small misunderstanding and the nerve to be ignorant about a basically 600$ room that was dirty had burn spots on the tables dirt all over lights haaaa save your money kids took over The pool chicken wing bones were just discarded around sitting area Nasty just disgusting
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff here is very friendly. Rooms are very clean. My only problem with our stay was the early morning hammering in one of the surrounding rooms. Both mornings I was up early due to the noise.
STEPHANIE is the BEST... Let me say this.. Im a born and raised NYC girl. There is nothing like the big apple. However, Philly is a second home for me because I LOVE everything about it. I love the history, and the food, and the culture. I love how you can be on a block thats complete so quite, and then the next block its a huge crowd of ppl. BUT my most favorite thing about Philly is staying at the Windsor Suites. its literally the ONLY place I stay when I visit, and its the only place I recommend to folks. My recent visit was back for July 4th weekend. The city was still kind of closed do to the pandemic. I needed an escape from NY due to some personal issues. When I arrived I was met but one of he most genuine, warm-heart, loving woman Ive ever met. It helped even more that she has the name of my oldest sister. Stephanie was amazing from check in, until it was time to say goodbye. All the staff that weekend were just so helpful with suggestions of where to eat, or what city features were open in lieu of the pandemic. This hotel is truly like no other. The rooms are FANTASTIC. The customer service is unmatched. The rooftop pool is to die for. BUT THE STAFF ARE PRICELESS. When you visit, you should hope to be serviced by Stephanie. Im going back down there in two weeks, and I hope Im met with her beautiful smile.
Excellent customer service and great location! Stephanie at the front desk was exceptional. She was super friendly and informative during check in and check out. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the room could have been a bit more clean. The dishes in the cabinets were greasy, as if the guest before rinsed them off and put them back. But it wasnt that big of a deal because there was a dishwasher and full sink with soap and sponges. We were so pleased, we ended up staying another night here. Thanks Stephanie and everyone else that helped us during our stay!
Hotel is very nice. The rooms are massive for the price, and clean. My complaint is about the parking. You pay $200 a night for the hotel (with taxes) and then they want $45 a night to park. We parked down the street and paid half the price.
The 5 is strictly for Tim. Director of operations. He was Excellent and Diligent!! Thank you very much !!
I loved my stay at this hotel! Very clean. The only thing I didnβt like was the food at Con Murphyβs. But everything else was great. Oh wait, I also did not like one of the workers, I think his name was Jonathan. He was very rude and short. But beside that, the other workers were kind and helpful. I would stay again, but I wouldnβt eat the restaurants food and I would put Jonathan in his place.
Great small chain hotel!!! Super location in Center City, near to so much! Booked a one bedroom king suite and it was much larger than anticipated. The only disappointment (mild) was that for such a room, the bathroom was small and not luxe feeling. The large large large walk-in closet could have been added to the bathroom... seeing that there were two other very large walk-in closets in the hall! But, that again, was minor. The room was great, included a balcony! Full, small kitchen, dining area with table. Full living room with pullout couch and comfy chair. Dual zone climate control and two TVs. Fill the fridge option was very reasonable. Our booked package also included free parking, otherwise parking was high. Two restaurants are in the building... both quite good. Lobby was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would go back in a heartbeat.
The pictures of the room/hotel online are misleading. Also, this hotel used to be all apartmentsβso there may be people the the room next door that live there. (If they have bugs, you do too) Now, the hotel does look cleaner in the pictures than what it really is. The balcony?? Itβs very dirty. It needs to be cleaned badly. If you need something for the night, it will do the job but I checked inβseen the roomβand checked out. gross.
I love this hotel! When my husband and I are in Philly, we stay here because it feels like a home away from home. The staff is always polite and they go above and beyond your expectations. The high level of customer service is always consistent. My only complaint is the high rate for parking. Especially when youβre here for a few days, $45/day racks up quick. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel.
I wish I could give them a zero. The front desk agent was EXTREMELY rude, super passive and mean. I didnβt get the guys name but heβs African American, slightly bald and was working the afternoon/evening shift on September 10th. I decided not to stay at this hotel because of my experience with him and the hotel still hasnβt issued my refund.
The Windsor is in a great location especially for tourist. They also offer free wine during happy hour however if the wine and location is not enough for me to stay again. Prior to checking in we waited for almost an hour for valet to park my car. The staff was apologetic and explained that they have been very busy however we wasted time waiting on valet. Everyone from the bell men, valet and guest services were very pleasant. The elevators of the hotel are not children, and or handicap friendly.. they close too fast. Once in the room the air conditioning was not working correctly. I did not complain because by this time I feeling like Iβm just here one night and Iβm just going to make the best of it. Went up to check out the pool that they raved about during check in and there was yellow tarp taped to the floor, 3 buckets for the leaking roof and towels all over the hall floor. No mention of the construction that was going on next to the pool area at all. They gym is dated and could use an update. There is only a vending machine in the building is a soda machine on one floor for the whole hotel.
Location is perfect. Only 0.5 mile from Reading Terminal one way and all the museums 0.5 the other way. As for the rooms, I we stayed in a suite with a king bed. But there is a FULL KITCHEN (gas stove, microwave, all cooking ware including pots, pans and a regular size fridge). It had 2 large closets. I will 100% be back if I ever come back to Philly.
We visit Philadelphia often, and always stay at the same hotel. We decided to try a different place, and were so happy we did. Every employee made us feel welcome; Beths service was particularly excellent. Everything about our stay was fantastic - this is now our Philadelphia hotel of choice.
I came my boyfriend from Italy to stay for 2 nights, and I am beyond happy that we chose the Windsor suites. The king suite was so much bigger than I expected it to be and was absolutely beautiful. The only complaint I would have that was mentioned before was how small the bathroom was in comparison to the rest of the room, but a minor detail in the entirety of it (and having my own mirror/makeup area definitely made up for it!) . I think what made the experience so excellent though was how nice and accommodating the staff were, specifically Stephanie that was working every afternoon/night. Every question that we had for her, she had the answer but always in the most entertaining and friendly way. She recommended an incredible restaurant to us the first night as well that we would never have found without her help. That awesome girl deserves a raise!!
Had to wait a while to be seated, but the food was worth the wait. Wasnβt too moved by the cocktails. Let me assume that the bartender was tired.
My 92-year-old dad and 88-year-old stepmom stayed here while we were helping them move to a different apartment in Philly. They had a 2-bedroom suite which was lovely and actually pretty affordable, considering. The staff were all fantastic. They room was a little cold for them so the hotel brought up space heaters.
LOVE this hotel. First time staying and already booked for my next stay. Worth the money; location is super convenient & facilities are wonderful. Valet parking, plus awesome employees!
I had a great stay at The Windsor. My room was very clean and had a wonderful view. I was excited to make use of the full stove in the small kitchen. All of the appliances were nice and easy to use.The shower temperature situation is...tricky. I never quite got the hang of it. I only stayed for one night, so I didnt ask for help. I figured out how to get it to warmish and hot. I couldnt get it back to cold after I got it hot. This is surely user error and not the fault of the hotel. The staff was excellent. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with recommendations when asked. The location was perfect for where I needed to be and very close to the train station.I will absolutely stay here again.
My stay at the Windsor Suites was very pleasant. The room was incredibly spacious with more amenities than I was expecting and hoping for. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The location is fantastic. The Center City are of Philly is already very walkable, and Windsor is close to many things a visitor would like to see. My biggest complaint are for the elevators, which are exceptionally small given the size of the hotel/building, meaning increased wait times.
This is a great place!!! Our company stayed here for four days. They were very accommodating, and Phil Salvitti did an awesome job in making sure we were taking care of. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.
Angela and her team are amazing My wife feels like she is extremely welcomed
Nicest front desk staff ever. They are so friendly and make you feel so welcomed. Clean and comfy rooms too!
Very clean, nice views of the city, helpful and friendly staff. We witnessed an employee interacting with a young woman who was having some sort of domestic issue. The way he spoke to her and handled her situation impressed me. Great, easy experience and I will definitely be using this hotel for future trips to Philly.
Second visit, same great experience! Service is all around friendly and relaxed from reservations, parking attendant, bell staff, front desk and even the maids. Nice decor with clever room designs that offer large closets, lots of counter space and full kitchens equipped with utensils, cookware etc. Comfortable beds and pillows! Good water pressure. Key card access to elevator floors gives and added sense of security. Cold water with fresh lemons, weekday wine hour are added bonus. The new roof top pool is pretty cool too. Basically its a gem in Philly and well definitely be back.
Excellent. The perfect location in the middle pf Philadelphia, in walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. Clean. Friendly staff. Parking is a bit expensive ($45/night), but if you get a hotel outside of the city and park for the day to visit things you would spend the same.
This hotel is amazingly beautiful on the inside. The staff were all super friendly and everything was so clean. I will definelty be staying here again soon!
When visited in October 2019 it was very dated. Windows dont fully close and a lot of noise can be heard from outside of the window. When raised this a technician came and said that is normal and that he wouldnt do anything. I ask to change room and the second room was definitely better however noise could still be heard. The technical didnt even attempt to close the window properly and was quite sarcastic suggesting to remove the rubber from the frame to help ti close... Also, although we were Expedia VIP Gold guests we got declined the expected room upgrade even though in their website there was still availability. Reception customer service was very bad, not polite nor professional.
Nice place with good location .Rooms were well maintained and the infrastructure was superb. I was amazed with the way they work and handle their customer. The food was delicious and well presented . Overall nice experience with hotel.
Amazing Place to Stay! The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and made our stay the best ever! We will be back.
This place is very clean and well kept. The staff is professional in every sense of the word. The adjoining restaurants are very well managed and deliver to your room. Itβs located near the heart of Philly.
Stayed at Windsor for three days while visiting Philly. The location was excellent and right by museums such as the Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. As Philly is a walkable city, it is also a 10 min walk from Reading Terminal and Chinatown if youre looking for some good food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean, and the kitchen and bath extras were very nice. Sole complaint is that the shower has weak water pressure, with water temperature that may fluctuate between warm and hot. Overall though, above average for what I paid for.
The Windsor is in a perfect location. Walking distance to pretty much anything you need from food to shopping and entertainment. It is a beautiful hotel. The customer service is top notch. The rooms were sparkling clean. The suites have ample closet space, full kitchens, and beautiful views.
Stayed at the Windsor suites for PAX Unplugged. The location made it just a short walk downtown to the convention center. The rooms were large and spacious. Had some late night food and drinks at the restaurant downstairs after a long day playing games. It was very satisfying. I would definitely stay there again!
The location of the Windsor is very convenient to all local transportation and dining/entertainment locales. They have decent yet expensive bars in the hotel and its a great spot to flick it up before a night out on the town. The Windsor has decent sized rooms and our room had a full kitchen to really give a homely feel. Staff was also very accommodating and we will definitely stay again. Oh and great books to read about the City in the room
Our bedroom was very clean. Every person on the reception we met was wonderful, thoughtful and friendly. We had a lovely room with a beautiful view. The hotel is in a good location, walking distant to Philadelphia top attractions. I stayed for 2 weeks in July and I will be staying again in August. Love this hotel, and the wonderful exercise studio. Great service and I definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel remains a good choice on the Upper West Side. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. Likewise, the staff is helpful and friendly. There ar plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from and the subway is just a few blocks away
The Windsor Suites is in a fantastic location in the city center of Philadelphia. I was an overnight guest for a work event at City Hall with my family tagging along to visit the city. City Hall was walking distance as were several important Philadelphia landmarks. As first-time visitors, we were thrilled that so many sites of cultural and historical significance were walking distance to the hotel. As a family of four we were also pleased with the well-appointed in spacious rooms including a full kitchen and extra coffee. Other than an iron burn on the carpet the rooms were very clean and seem to be recently updated. The pool area was also very nice. My only complaint is with parking, but its not a unique issue to the hotel; Philly is notorious for expensive parking, rampant ticketing, and towing, so we didnt feel we had another great/simple option nearby. Although the rooms were a great value overall, parking was extremely expensive at $42 per night. And as there was no self-parking option, you should also tip the valet, which we did, adding to the cost. Nevertheless we would definitely stay at The Windsor Suites again, although perhaps without our car. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay overall.
Stayed here last weekend with my boyfriend, I must say Iβm glad I picked The Windsor Suites! I didnβt have to worry about parking my car as the valet took care of it, also the gentlemen working at the front desk was very welcoming!! Not to mention our 1 bedroom king suite came equipped with a FULL kitchen + kitchenware. All in all, this is our new go to hotel anytime we visit Philly. Truly impressed. Keep up the great work.
Staff was very nice and overall it was a clean, comfortable stay. The carpets could use replacing along with some of the lighting (least in our room). My son loved the rooftop pool but please get a heater! I would stay again....but I wouldnt mind checking out other accommodations in the area first. PS. The Irish pub connected to the hotel (Con Murphys?) was great!
This place is lovely! All staff are super attentive, kind, customer-focused, professional. Accommodations were perfect. Meticulously clean (and I am a stickler). My only issue is we are only here for the night. We will stay here again and again, and recommend to everyone we know traveling to Philly.
I stayed here twice. 2nd time a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I got sick and had to leave early. I cannot tell you how amazing the staff was. Traci is always amazing. Gabriel was also so helpful. This place is just the best. So clean, so nice, rooftop pool and beautiful views. I wrote a review on trip advisor, but had to come here just to say thank you to Traci and Gabriel. I love these people ...they are not just good employees, they are kind individuals which is so rare today. Thank you guys. Not sure if I will ever be able to make it back or if we will meet again, but thank you so much.
Room was amazing. Pointed towards the museum, the view was pleasant. Amenities are also impressive. More or less a full kitchen, nice bathroom, and a serious amount of closet space. Bed was comfortable, large flat screen on the wall, nice sitting area. Two restaurants inside, pool on the roof, gym, and very nice art throughout the building. Parking garage is part of the hotel, which is convenient given the area. The hotel seems to be recently remodeled and looks great.
Beware. We booked this hotel based on the rooftop pool for the holiday weekend, upon arrival we were told it is under constructions. When we made the reservation there was nothing on the site about the pool being closed, now since we complain they put something on the site. IF you call the hotel and listen to the hold music it boasts about the pool that apparently is closed till summer. Isnβt this weekend the start of summer ??? Lies .....
Staff- The staff at this hotel, particularly Brian at the check-in desk, were excellent. I received an upgrade and decided to stay an extra night and Brian was attentive, professional and kind. The valet attendants were prompt, professional and friendly. (One con was the very high parking cost...$42 a day. That was ridiculous, but, there is absolutely NO WHERE to park in this area of town, so, you have absolutely no other choice).Location- Although driving in this area of Philly is congested and frustrating due to no parking, small crowded streets and an inordinate number of very large trucks, the hotel is located in walking distances to prime sites and a bevy of eating and drinking locations. We literally walked to most places while at the Windsor.Room- We had a suite with two double beds which was like a small apartment. My daughter and I LOVED it. A full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dish washer, microwave and coffee pot and a dining room area with a living room made our stay a home away from home.We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning next year.
Our recent stay at the Windsor was everything we had hoped for. My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel recently to attend an Eagles game and a concert at the newly reopened Met. This hotel was a perfect location for everything and anything you need/want. From restaurants to bars, convenience stores to attractions...perfect. Our stay was fantastic from the start with convenient parking and valet to the smiling faces and friendly service at check in. Our room was spacious, updated, and clean. Housekeeping was excellent as well. The view from our balcony was terrific to say the least. We did not eat at Con Murphys(attached restaurant) but did have a few cocktails before the concert. Excellent service and great drinks too. The place was full and everyone was having a great time!I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends and will definitely be staying here again on our next getaway to Phllly! A big thank you to the whole Windsor Suites team for a job well done and for making our trip an enjoyable one!!
Stayed for a long weekend. Perfect location for our visits to the Franklin Institute (walking distance), Please Touch Museum, and the Philadelphia Zoo. Staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms were large and clean. Only negative was that we could hear a lot more street noise than expected, even on the 16th floor. Besides that it was a great stay. Would definitely return.
Lovely place, great location, very friendly staff. The king suite was clean and the bathroom was small, but was lovely and definitely got the job done. TV had all the major channels, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchenette was very clean.
For the price which was very friendly for the Philly city center there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Modern, nice and clean hotel. Very pleasant staff. We were wery satisfied.
Everything was perfect, from the moment I checked in. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The suite fully equipped kitchen area. I had a great view as well. I only wish my room had a balcony so I could take pictures of the city. Seems like every other room does. It also has 2 restaurants attached to hotel so you dont have to go far, if you dont want to.I would definitely come back the next time in town!!
The service from the very beginning was impeccable. All have is personal attention and were very helpful. The rooms were clean, bright, great view. Though we constantly heard the family next to us even at 3 a.m. Location was easy access to everything we wanted to visit. We walked to most site seeing sites. Great place. Highly recommend.
Extremely well maintained. Everything in our King Suite with Balcony was perfect, clean, and well presented. Be aware that Parking is $42 per night, and almost nothing is complimentary. Overall a great place to stay in Philadelphia and I absolutely would come back for another night.
Stayed with young kids for one night. Staff was friendly and rooms were very clean. The only negative was the temperature in room. Very difficult to cool down room. We had to crack the window in December just to bring temp down to 70 degrees.Ate breakfast at attached restaurant (pub) and food and staff was good. Would stay again.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Argonaut. The rooms arent amazingly fancy, but very comfortable. I found every member of staff I interacted with to be friendly and helpful, and that certainly sets this hotel apart. The Fishermans Wharf location is perfect for getting your tourist on - its all right on your doorstep - completely ideal for traveling with kids.I docked 1 star because its pricey for the standard of room, even when one takes the fantastic SF location into account.
Great room and staff. Rooms were clean and check in staff was attentive. Location was great right in the center of the city with everything within walking distance.
Here staying for our honeymoon as well as finding a place to move to in Philadelphia. While their apartments here are somewhat expensive, the living space is incredibly nice. They are a short stay hotel, extended stay hotel, and apartment complex. The rooms are nice, spacious, and new. There are 2 restaurants connected that offer discounts to guests. They even upgraded us to a larger room for no cost due to it being our honeymoon. Would easily stay again.
Positive: Rooftop lounge Negative: Yes, they do not release the hold on your deposit for over 3 days. IΓΒ’Γ’β¬ÒβΒ’m still waiting for my refund.
Courteous staff from the front desk to housekeepers. Let us check in early. Busy for the 4th of July, but still were organized and professional. Outdoor pool had a cool view. Convenient locationTip: Water pressure isnt that great and water doesnt get that hot during the day, so its best to take a shower late, like after 11pm
I love this hotel. The room is very nice, cozy and spacious . theres a kitchen in it too its very convenient for us. Staffs r nice and helpful Id come back again
