Paid for Budget Express and reserved a larger mid-size suv online weeks before the reservation. Even though there was enough employees to serve the express counter they were not allowing anybody to move ahead. Budget Express costs extra to jump the 2 hour line and they did not allow us to do that. After waiting for 2 hours they decided to open up the express line. They did not offer any refund or even get us the right car. Very chaotic to get a car and waited for a good 2 hours. Not very happy on the wait and service.EDIT: Upgrading to 3 stars from 2 starts solely based on how easy it was returning the rental car to the Budget area at the Plillidelphia Airport. Returning the car was very easy and hassle free, just take your bags out and leave the keys in the car. Definitely pay for them to fill up your car because dealing with the extra trouble is not worth the difference. VERY IMPORTANT double check to make sure Budget writes down the damage already on the car when you pick it up so you will not get tagged on paying for the car. One helpful add on you can pay for is the EZ-PASS toll reader on the inside of the car windshield. This will save you tremendous amount of time and also allow you to not worry about paying the toll fees while driving. Most tolls are are change or card only and usually have a line to wait for when it gets somewhat busy.

I had the best experience from the ease of changing my reservation to picking up the car. I especially would like to give a 10 to the young lady that checked me in at pickup.. The long wait 4 airport shuttle was frustrating but she worked effectively to get us in and out w a smile. Made all the difference. Will only rent budget

I rented a car for work in the area. I come to Phila and NJ once a month. This time I decided to try a different rental car service which was a mistake. There was damage to the vehicle to the front and rear when I picked it up. Parking sensor failure warning continued to display the entire retail period. The vehicle had an odor of smoke. Windows were streaked and had a film on the inside. Wait to pick up the vehicle was over 30 minutes and the fuel tank was not even full. The cost of the retail was nearly the same as other competitors in the area but slightly less. I guess you get a clean car, no damage, and no warning lights and a full tank of gas for an extra couple of bucks per day. I will not rent through Budget again.

I waited over 40 minutes in line to get my car and then another 40+ minutes to get a car that was wet inside and not particularly clean. There were many cars idle on the lot. I returned the car early and was told I would have to deal with Expedia to get a refund. I returned it with more gas than it had when I picked it up. The counter and lot people were trying but the system is broken. PLUS no one was wearing their mask properly or requiring other customers to mask while indoors as it was the stated policy on the door and inside the rental building.

It was quick and easy. The guys at the counter were very respectful and easy to interact with. One had a Philadelphia eagle logo face mask on and the other had a NY giant Jersey on. We cracked up a joke or two while they were getting my paper work ready. pickup and drop off process went smooth. The only safety issue that I was not ok with ( the honda crv) was the steering wheel hazard light would come on on the dashboard followed by a drastic shaking of the steering wheel at a speed above 65. Im bringing this up because if this issue is not fix, the next person driving this particular car may get in a serious accident. I almost lost control of the vehicle.With that being said, my overall customer service experience was great!

I wish I could give this location zero stars. Manager was rude and unprofessional. He was hiding in back room as two reps tried to service over 15 customers who had just gotten off shuttle bus. Despite multiple attempts from reps to request support it took him over 20 minutes to make an appearance and he seemed put out at the prospect of serving customers. Take your business elsewhere if you want efficient and professional service.

I made a car reservation months in advance and on the day I came to pickup my vehicle I waited in line for an hour to just be told that since I’m under 25 but military they can give me a car but only if I use a credit card to pay. I only had a debit card. So they blatantly told me I wouldn’t be serviced and called next customer. Would not recommend budget enterprise is ten times the better company.

We arrived in Philadelphia at a very late hour (11:30pm?), and were very tired after a very long day. The gentleman at the counter, I believe he said his name was Malcolm, was very courteous and understanding. I believe that when he realized his team was having a challenge finding the car we reserved, 300C, he offered us alternatives. First a VW Passat, which I feared would be too small for my family of 6 footers. But then offered a Toyota 4 Runner for no extra charge. I wasnt sure at the time ( I was really looking forward to the 300C), but we were able to get on the road quickly, and it fit us well. I kept appreciating that 4 Runner, and Malcolms customer service all week. Like I said, it was very late, and I hope I got the gentlemans name correct ( late at night, 9-17-21).

Arrived at Budget at PHL to find one employee at the desk with 4 men lined up before me. Only one had pre-arranged his rental. When it was finally my turn, the employee offered me a free upgrade since the vehicle I reserved was not available. When offering options, I chose the EZpass which would be handy for visiting friends. All seemed fine with the exception of not receiving a written contract. I just kept hearing that a receipt would be sent by email, as was told to customers attempting to drop off vehicles since no attendant was outside to check in returning cars.When returning from a NJ trip, I discovered that I DID NOT have the EZpass, so I chose to avoid tolls for the rest of the trip. Upon return my fully fueled rental to the airport, I explained to attendant that I did not have the EZpass feature. He looked at his phone and told me everything was fine and that I would get my receipt by email. I finally get my receipt showing the rental particulars, one of which was the fueling option. I would never request this option, since its ridiculously inflated and its easy to fill up prior to return. They are badly understaffed and overworked, likely due to Covid, but this did not need to happen. This could be avoided if the customer gets a written contract at time of rental, either by email or paper. This new policy is bad business

Because I called customer service FOUR TIMES saying that my Friday flight has been cancelled and that I would be arriving Saturday at noon. I was told at least 3 differing opinions on how it would be handled, and when I arrived in Philadelphia I was told that my reservation could not be found and that I needed to contact customer service again. When I did that I was told no notes were taken on any phone call so I had to cancel the pre-paid reservation and was forced to pay a higher price for less time because a car was absolutely necessary. And the final insult was that the return time was 6, not 7 which had been requested, so I had to rush back to the airport without filling the tank back up and was forced to pay another $60 for the gas. I feel as if I was truly ripped off more than once.

Too many issues from the first. The counter employee was rude and not helpful with the check-in process. When we went to take car the interior was a dirty mess as was the exterior not cleaned. So we went back to counter and they assigned us another car which was also dirty on the exterior but the inside was better. To avoid the hassle we took the car. After driving out of the lot when we got to 10 miles and above the tires started sounding like truck tires. The faster we went the louder the winding noise got. Because of the counter person and the cleanliness issue we decided to live with it. After 10 - 20 we regretted that decision. The good experience was the returning of the car the attendant was courteous and polite. The return was smooth.

After waiting 45 minutes for a courtesy shuttle and then another 30 minutes in the line at Budget, we were finally assigned our rental vehicle.Our excitement at getting a Hyundai Tuscon, a car we love, quickly turned to dismay as, upon opening the car door, our masked noses were assaulted by the strong smell of stale cigarette smoke.A sign stuck to the windshield proudly lied, This vehicle was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with EPA-certified products.Cigarette ash and a used mask in the center console storage, brown sticky goo on the sunglass holder and glove box, stains on the seats and the headliner...Already running late from the delays and facing a 90 minute drive ahead of us, we reluctantly left the lot with our filthy car, and a resolve not to rent from Budget in Philly ever again.

We were in a bind during our trip and missed our connecting flight on top of it. Being 4.5h from home wasnt helping matters either. The gentleman that helped us went above and beyond to get us into a car and on our way home. He thought outside the box and did everything in his power. His patience, empathy, kindness, and over all amazing customer service was so appreciated during a very stressful time. I will NEVER forget that young man and Im sorry I didnt get his name. He is a true gem and blessing to this world and Budget should be more than happy to have him on the team. I will likely never rent anywhere else, just because of the level of service I received from him.

All good in the end, but coming off a flight, and not knowing the airport too well, I had no idea whether the rentals were on site or whether I had to take a shuttle bus. Very poorly indicated...in a very busy airport. Once I got to the correct place, i had to wait 40 minutes in line for the two Budget employees to serve 3 people ahead of me. Great service when it was my turn, but a long time between getting my bags and driving off.

I was charged a fuel surcharge. The fuel gauge said it was full. I filled-up in New Jersey and they force full-service. Perhaps the guy did not top-off the tank completely. The rest of the rental experience was great. We got to the counter in the middle of the tropical storm rains and the attendant was alert and very efficient. The airport pick-up guy, who actually was working for another company, cared enough to let us off close to the Avis/Budget office. AWESOME SERVICE!

The car I was given was fine and comfortable with nice features, however the air conditioning did not work. I tried to call several times and got transferred around only to be told to call back during normal business hours. It was a holiday weekend.

We waited close to an hour for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. We saw at least 5 Avis vans circle through in that hour, and at least 10 National-Enterprise shuttles, and just about every other brand - but no Budget. When the shuttle finally arrived, it was packed FULL (because many people had waited that long). Then we arrived at the Budget counter and probably spent another 30 minutes in line - I have no idea why it takes so long to rent a car - its not like there is a lot of paperwork! The car was fine once we got it - but seriously, that is an hour and a half of my life wasted waiting for the car. This is NOT the first time Ive had this experience with Budget in Philadelphia. Next time Im going with Enterprise...

My travel agency made the reservation using my Fast Break number, but when I got there, it was not in the system as Fast Break, even though I had rented that way at this facility just 3 weeks prior. The car had several problems, including a low tire pressure warning. Which necessitated me finding a place to get air in a city I was unfamiliar with. The car was pretty severely dinged up. I felt like I was driving a friends beater car that I was not sure would make it back. If you are renting a car at PHL, go anywhere but to Budget. Youre not saving enough to put up with them.

Super busy Sat AM, with limited number of cars . . so, the wait was a bit a long in line, took 10 minutes to get my car after check-in - on the positive side, the drop-off was very efficient and the car was fine. I am still happy with it overall, because I understand the current situation with labor issues and car shortages

The people at the branch were great. I got charged 485 and some change at the time of reservation. When I picked up the total charge was only 450 now its a month later Im getting chartered another 450 and apparently no one at budget can help

Over the course of two days, I was issued paperwork for 5 different rental cars. The first car was given away to another customer right before me (no big deal). The second car had the oil light on and I did not feel comfortable driving it for a week. The third car, I was told someone would bring it around front for me. After 15 minutes, an employee saw me waiting and asked if I needed help. I let him know I was waiting on this car and showed him my paperwork. They did not have such a car on their lot! So glad he asked if I needed help because I would have continued to wait... Fourth car had a maintenance needed light on, but after 2 hours in the rental agency I was ready to get to my destination. I drove the car for a day and a half. Next morning, it would not start. No lights were left on, it was not a dead battery. I believe it was some sort of electrical failure. After 20 minutes on the phone with the emergency roadside assistance number, the car began to honk, lights flashing, every light on the dashboard lit up. Gentleman I was on the line with told me to try putting the key in the ignition to start it; it started and I was able to drive it. However, at this point I did not feel comfortable driving the vehicle. Agent on the line asked if I could return it to the airport to swap out - I was an hour away so that was not a viable option. He found a rental agency in King of Prussia and said he notified them I was coming and they would help me out. I arrived at the new rental location and the two workers had no idea I was coming and were not thrilled that I was swapping out a car from the airport. I was told that they could not accept the car because they had too many from the airport already. I informed them of the situation and that I was not leaving until I had another vehicle because I did not feel safe driving the one I was provided. I was swapped out for another vehicle but not without some grumbling. Overall, very unsatisfied with my experience.

Budget did not honor my original reservation made through COSTCO travel saying the FASTBREAK number was my wifes.. My wife doesnt have a daybreak number.... I was forced to rebook my reservation at the counter. Had to get to the back of the long line. And pay almost three hundred dollars more for a car that was three classes down from what I originally booked... NEVER AGAIN!

I am a FastBreak member and for the second time in 6 months, the FastBreak shelf is empty. When I asked one of the workers behind the counter, she told me that they dont do that anymore and I have to wait in line like everyone else. I, then went to the other representative on the other side of the counter and asked her the same thing. She looked me up, and told me that my car was ready and waiting outside within 30 seconds. I wouldve waited in a long line for no reason if I didnt asked the other representative. This is super annoyed as its the main purpose of FastBreak. Dont even get me started on how filthy the luxury car itself was.

We rented a Chrysler 300 as we were driving the bride for her wedding day. There was no Chrysler 300 nor any premium car this size. The staff blamed costco a third party for renting what was not available, but that isnottrue. We ended up with a very noisy grand Cherokee because we needed thesize. Big problem for me!

Out flight back to Florida was canceled due to a hurricane leaving us stranded for an extra 2 days in Philadelphia. Asia at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating with the return of our rental car. She went way above and beyond what I believe anyone else wouldve done. I waited for over 25 minutes for a shuttle from BUDGET at the Philadelphia airport. One finally came and passed by because it was FULL! Avis, Hertz, Thrifty, Dollar, etc. had at least 4 -5 shuttles passing by and several were EMPTY! I finally gave up and asked AVIS if they would take us and they did! When I got to Budget there was a very long line that went out into the parking lot. They are not prepared nor UP taking good care of the customers theyre getting. I will not use them again. This is the second time theyve given me poor service. There will not be a third!!

The office needs an upgrade. The only place to sit is one bench outside of the facilities. One employee is excellent (wish I knew her name but maybe about 50yrs old and black) and caught one mistake made and fixed it right away. Also, the woman at the counter was great too. I want to give 5 stars for their professionalism, but the decor, lack of furniture/amenities, and the amount of time it took to get the car and they still messed it up initially prevents it. I would still return, but I also hope things are better when I do.

The shuttles were non existent. Avis buses had a sign saying Budget but most of us missed because there was not logo. Just the word Budget. When I returned the car I waited 35 minutes for a shuttle to get back to the airport. 20 minutes at the budget office and then 15 more after they had us walk over to the Avis office. That is unacceptable. The staff were truly amazing. Also, when they pulled my car around they lost the keys. They did upgrade me with another car which was nice, but I prepaid the gas and the upgrade had a much larger tank. I would not have opted to prepay a tank that size since I wasnt going to using it much. So they just charged my card $72 without asking. After waiting in the hot sun for 40 minutes to get the car and then another 20 minutes while they looked for they keys, that was not cool. The brand new 4runner with 10 mile on the odometer was the saving grace.

Renting online was quick, easy, and efficient. Ive never rented a car on my own before and Budget made it easy and effortless. The staff that helped me at pickup were kind, courteous, and professional. They explained the drop off process to me very clearly and I had zero issues! I paid for a full-size vehicle, but was given a smaller vehicle.I was a couple hours late with picking my rental up, which I was thinking the agent would adjust the drop off time to meet my 48 hour need of the rental but he didn’t. Budget cars are always clean and reliable but there is always a problem when picking up a car. Either super long wait lines, counter staff trying to sell more than I requested and this last time I tried to use Fast Break only to find out after being sent to the wrong location by the shuttle driver that Fast Break was not even available at this time in Philly.Not to mention the cost of rentals has skyrocketed. $1200 for the week for a compact.

This experience from start to finish was awful. The wait for the bus to pick you up to take you to the rental place took forever. When I got there, the line was 60 people deep with 3 very slow people behind the desk. When I finally was given my car, I had to wait 15 minutes to arrive, then it smelled like smoke. I had to take the Avis bus back to the airport cause once again the budget bus was nowhere to be found. This is the second time I have used this budget rental place and I will be hard pressed to ever use it again.

Very Long wait time. I booked couple of days early but the Car was not ready, Car was clean, returned car with full tank gas, still charged ~ $94 me for gas. Now calling customer care for refund. They asked me evidence of gas filling. Be careful when returning car take a picture of dashboard, keep gas receipt.

I needed to extend rental because of death in family. I was told it would be $1200 to extend 6 days. Online I could book car for $600. I had to go 4 hours out of my way to return the car, just to pick one up from your other company AVIS. I spoke with an agent and then a manager and they were quite rude. I will definitely go out of my way to never rent from your company or any of your affiliates in the future. If I could rate zero stars, I would.

Customer service was horrible. I called to add an extra day to my rental agreement and was being charged just as much as the entire week cost. Customer service would not answer my questions, they just kept asking if I want the extra day or not. I ended up just hanging up. I got there 20 minutes early to pick the vehicle up and was told it would be an extra $90.00 for the 20 minutes. When I asked if I bring the vehicle back 2 hours early would I get a discount and I was told that I would. When I did return the vehicle early, I asked how much of a discount it was for the early return and was told it would be on my receipt. I asked for my receipt and was told it would be emailed to me when the vehicle was completely checked in. Finally got the receipt when I boarded my flight 2 hours later and there was no discount. There were however, multiple surcharges added that I was not aware of. The entire experience from start to end was horrible and the phone customer service was just as bad.

Pickup from airport was about 30 mins while all other rentals was passing by every 5 mins. Then the lady wont pickup other people yelling through the mic other bus is right behind, so not true. Drop off to airport was worse experience. A nasty/dirty bus came in 20 mins and then another 15 mins to wait on people to fill up. If you were running behind you are screwed. The driver was doing his best, thats about it.Thats what you get under budget.

The process picking up the car was confusing. The car that I rented was not parked in the correct spot. After a brief talk with the agent it was corrected. Upon leaving the lot the agent at the gate was confused about which car I was supposed to be in. I returned the car 1 day earlier. Today I received an email stating I had not returned the car and when would I return it. After several phone calls I was not convinced that the agent I spoke with actually resolved my issue. I was unable to reach the person that spent the email due to her voice-mail box being full.I normally rent from Enterprise but as it would happen Budget was cheaper. So I went with them. I would be willing to pay a little more for a less confusing process.

Great customer service. I was expecting the typical rental car experience but this stood out. On arrival the staff was helpful and efficient. The car was clean and had my 2 favorite things; apple carplay and a back up camera. But it was the drop-off and shuttle back to the airport that made this experience different. Friendliness of both the check in and the shuttle driver, William, was above expectation. William not only got the Airline information, he went on to see if I had TSA-pre to make sure he got me to the better gate for my convenience. It was much appreciated!!

Not sure if its b/c Avis took over or if its just effects of the pandemic, but this location is a mess - more than ever. Ive used the PHL Budget for at least seven years - the employees are always disgruntled and unfriendly, but I continue to use Budget because its what familiar to me and Ive never had a problem with any of the cars. But this past visit was terrible. I empathize - Im sure theyre challenged, as we all are, with pandemic consequences - but they need someone running this show. Employees were scrambling just to get cars washed, delivered to customers soaking wet, 40 minutes after check in... does this mean cars were even officially checked back in/evaluated after drop off if theyre coming right from the wash? Not to mention the prices we have to pay now... I expect better service. Its just a bad look overall. Consistently, this location appears to have zero supervision and it shows. Wont be using PHL Budget again.

The airport branch were very nice and professional. But I went to Philadelphia for surgery. When my stay got extended we tried calling the 1-800 # to get our rental extended. But it was going to cost 50% more to do this over the phone so we had to drive back to the airport and turn in the car and renew a rental contract to not overpay for the rental. This was ridiculous. So Im happy with the airport branch but not the corporate rules.

I waited over an hour for the shuttle bus to get to the rental facility. I took the avis bus and walked to the budget center because I couldnt wait any longer. I showed up to my meeting 30 minutes late because of this. When I returned my car there was 20 people waiting outside for the shuttle bus to get back to the airport. I didnt even think twice about taking it and just walked to the airport. I now understand why budget was the only available option to pick a rental car from. The shuttle service in Philly is less than bad. I will stick to enterprise and national moving forward.

The car was very dirty. The attendant refused to run the car through the car wash. Also, I returned the car with a full tank and was still charged a fuel fee. The shuttle bus never came, I ended up jumping on a bus from another company. I tried to call in about the charge and was told it was a 1 hour wait time. I guess Im not the only one with issues, not worth the headache!! I will never use your company again.

At both pick up and drop off, Philadelphia airport employees were surly and unhelpful. PICK UP: Multiple cars were left running at the curb with no way to tell which one was mine. Could not find trunk release and no one to help, so I used the back seat for luggage. Noticed inside windows had dog nose smudges/drips. No local areas maps or driving directions to hwy. No printed receipt (emailed to California). DROP OFF: Instruction on parking signs conflict with employee practices. Noted mileage and gas level (per sign) & took keys inside (no instructions at all), Told to leave keys in car (had to lug 3 pieces of luggage back to parking lot. When I got back, receipt had been emailed to home in CA. No opportunity to check accuracy of anything so I made her print a copy. Told her the gas & mileage numbers were wrong, but she refused to fix it. Charged a late return fee (Hurricane IDA passed thru on Wednesday 1 Sep, so my flight was delayed 1 day for tornadoes, flash floods, etc.. News advised drivers to stay off roads. Since I had no check in receipt (emailed to California) I had no phone number to call in for extension. Your whole process is not user friendly.

They will not let you get your car 15 or even 5 minutes early. Instead you have to wait until the exact time of the prepaid rental (on the dot). I think they could be a bit flexible especially since they saw that I had already waited in their office 45 minutes (I got the times mixed up). They were irritable and inflexible and its definitely my last time at Budget.

It was fast and easy, did pre-check in and they gave me exactly what I was looking for the return was seamless. The only thing I didnt like was it was hard to get to and the direction took the Uber driver on a wild goose chase. On the return I had my sister who dropped her car off the night before guide me back.

We waited for over an hour at the PHI terminal for the shuttle bus. After 4 calls (which only connected to the corporate contact center) did we learn that we could have taken the Avis bus thrat we had seen multiple times. There was no indication that Avis and Budget were related. Then, when we got to the budget facility, there was only one agent despite a line of at least 10 people. Finally, we need a suburban or Yukon size SUV, but were told that is a special reservation (no such notice when we booked) so we had to take a Pathfinder which meant some pax had to ride with luggage on their laps.

Before I could turn around and go back to retrieve it, one of your folks came trotting up to me with it.Only bad thing was that the car had recently been driven by a smoker and the scent hadnt been completely eliminated.

The car I reserved was not available upon arrival. I had to wait 45 mins for them to figure out what car they would be able to give me. When I returned it, my eReceipt said my total was $ 174.14 (accurate), but they charge $375 to my account. For no reason.Ive been on hold for 57 mins because they decided to overcharge my account $200. Never using this company again.

Got fastbreak only to wait in line after people that arrived after me. What’s the point of the service? The shuttle runs once every hour it seems. Definitely had to call to get sent to their call center and told they couldn’t help and I had to keep calling.. fantastic experience as always Budget!

Counter person was non-existent when we arrived. Zero customer service skills when the single agent finally showed. Shuttle took forever although other company shuttles passed multiple times. Took an hour to get a car which was smelly and not thoroughly cleaned. Never again, Budget.

As with my previous experience with Budget, Fastbreak is only a title, it doesnt actually mean anything. Standing in line is the usual pattern and not bypassing the line. And, after reserving a premium/luxury car, I received a Kia Sorrento with 60,000 miles on it. The response was that we have none left. So much for the reservation. Upon return, there was no one to check the car in at the Budget location and I was subsequently charged a refuel fee even though I had just filled the tank a few miles from the airport. How many people dont check the receipt closely?

The car we were give was smaller then reserved & had over 63,000 miles on it. The car shacked above 60 miles per hour & the back tires were almost bald. Definitely dangerous in the rain, no traction. I was told at time of pickup that was the only car available with a parking lot full of cars. I will never rent from budget again. It was a disgrace how your company treats its customers...

Avoid at all cost! Flew in late for work conference the next. Their bus didn’t come for a hr, while other rental car company buses made well over 6 trips each; customer service number was no help. Then met a huge line at their office, with one agent on duty. Oh by the way the agent spend an additional 5-20 mins trying to get hook a client up with weed. Never again! It was a mad home.

The worst place to go to.The worst of the worst .No words can describe how bad my experience was.From waiting at airport for a long time to be picked up. To the rude staff that needs to be trained how to treat customers, to what they call a service manager that provably didn’t graduate from kindergarten. To the quality of cars that has pot smell, to scratches, damages, beat up and high mileage . I can write a book on my experience there . Never again . They might be cheaper but for a reason . You get what you paid for .

Been a Budget Fastbreak Member for almost 20yrs & usually very happy. This is 1st time Im extremely disappointed. Had paid-for reservations for a Chrysler 300 already but 1) Philly Budget office not set up for fast, off-the-board pickup, so had to wait in long line w/ those who had no res, 2) the Chrysler I reserved was not ready & when they FINALLY brought it up, my son noticed it had the spare (donut) tire on rear passenger side, 3) another long wait & finally brought up another vehicle - that had a small dent on a door & a shallow cut on a tire w/ some rim damage so had to get staff to note that 4) finally at check out, staff at the gate noticed the paperwork printing was messed up & a portion unreadable. Gave 1 star instead of none, only because the person at desk was very nice & obviously as frustrated as we were AND we were given an upgraded vehicle w/ no extra charge. Budget dont let your service quality deteriorate! We used to recommend you to everyone for price & service.

These reviews are really insane. First off my experience with budget is always good. Wherever in the world you go rules are rules! I agree the website is a little behind and needs frequent updates but other than that I can’t complain. First and foremost FASTBREAK is a free service stop acting like by having it you purchased a VIP section in the club. Secondly if you get a car with damage write it on the slip!!! You’re renting a car that multiple people have driven before you, you’re not walking into BMW purchasing a brand new car for Joseph sake, also educate yourselves on the word “prepay”, you’re simply paying for the car upfront, incidentals still matter and u still need to qualify. It’s simple. Here’s some advice: I pay upfront with my debit card and put my security deposit on my credit, and vula smooth sailing. Try it!!!Thanks budget Philadelphia. It’s always a breeze!

I picked up a mid size SUV on a Thursday. The girl who “helped” me constantly checked her phone and could visibly care less about her job, I told her I didn’t need insurance or road side coverage. She told me she was taking a 250 dollar deposit that would be returned. Instead she signed me up for the coverage and road side, it showed up on the receipt at optional services. They charged me 175 for 3 days. Do not go here, they will rip you off either on purpose or with incompetent, lazy employees that have no idea what is going on.

We waited for your bus upon arrival for almost 45 minutes and than almost another 40 minutes at your rental car location at PHL. Than when we were finally ready to leave a lady approached us to whom your staff also rented the same car. Eventually bot of us were given different cars. Returning the car was easier and less painful and your driver was very courteous. I know you are probably having trouble trying to hire people but this is a business problem many companies are having and you need to figure out how to resolve it.

Ramon at the service counter was great! When we arrived it was late around 11 pm. The lobby was full. Ramon came out to assist the other two representatives and we were lucky to be called by him! I travel to Philadelphia every 3 months, and I usually use Enterprise or Alamo, however this trip was unexpected due to death in the Family!! So No cars was available at short notice through My first choice,However The last thing a Traveler wants to do is sit on a plane for hours, walk the long airport to Stand outside & wait for a Shuttle that never comes as you are observing other rental car companies coming every 10 minutes to pick up their passengers. So after waiting for Budget shuttle for too long. Myself & another budget customer just hopped on enterprise shuttle and hitched a ride with them. (THANK YOU ENTERPRISE)2. Get to budget counter & was told I would be charged an additional $200 for deposit plus my $430 rental amount (which Im not use to because Enterprise & Alamo doesnt do that to their out of state customers) to ONLY realized I didnt have enough for the amount that was unexpected, so I had to switch cards to cover the unexpected amount. Only to run into another delima. I was actually charged $430 for the daily rental along with a $300 deposit (I thought you said $200) OMG!! Which limited my funds for a few days.3. I get to my car and its DIRTY! They dont walk you out there and inspect the car along with you. The Windows spotted like its was a storm (alittle birdie told me who works there, they spray it down with water, then park it & let it air dry, no wiping) so of course I couldnt see out the window so I cleaned my windows once I got to my hotel room.4. Rude Manager (Eric Bolder) A car crash into me & kept going, left me on the side of the road, the night before it was time to return the car and catch my flight. I wasnt in a safe place and it was dark & raining, I call budget, they said call Road Side Emergency, which I did at 11:15, they called me at 2:50 looking for the car. The ambulance & State Troopers done came and left and road side still not there. The cops lock up the car and give me the keys. So at 4:50 while limping in severe pain, I placed the keys in Eric Bolder Hands & explained I was in a Hit & Run and his Rude self aggressively say,,Well where is the Car. I cried so bad inside. And to only leave my ticket open an additional 13 days as if I was out riding around

Totally disappoint experience, my card was charge multiple different times for one rental which lock up my card during vacation. I was offered no real remedy or explanation rent from here put a big damper on my trip I had to visit the rental location multiple times cutting into the time I would have spent enjoy my vacation.
