So, I have always gone to Tom for about one year. Today however he was in a very bad mood and after I have waited for 3 hours!! and it was finely my turn. All I told him “hey Tom last time you did my nails three came off not sure why.” That comment alone upset him lol and he stopped doing my nails and left this on me. He would not take them off lol umm so I sat there almost in tears trying to remove them myself. He saw me take a pic of it and ran to help me thinking I’d write a bad review. I’m glad he finally decided to help me take them off lol umm okay thanks Tom. This is not a bad review btw it’s what happened to me after waiting for 3 hours you treat me this way.

Got a full set acrylic colored powder and he was super upfront when the design I had shown them wasn’t quite working and came up with something I ended up liking just as much whereas a lot of places would have just kept going, I so appreciated that!!! Friendly and did a great job.

I had a young gentleman with a tattoo on his right hand do my nails and he was the kindest and most gentle nail artist ive ever had. He was very detail oriented and my nails have never been smoother.

Very upset with my experience. Went in for a fill, called before hand because I’m on a budget and asked about pricing. Was informed it was 20$ for a fill, 30$ for a fill with gel polish, 3$ to get a single acrylic nail put on. 33$ is what it should’ve been. The lady Hannah did my nails and kept insisting a get a new set. Had this set for not even a month. 3 of my nails are crooked, their shape is inconsistent, they genuinely look awful. It’s very plain to see they are absolutely crooked, and one side of one nail is caving in. Any time I tried to politely ask her my concern with it being crooked, she would be kind of defensive about it and basically say it was fine and then proceeded to go on. I was charged 38$ dollars, which yes is only being charged 5$ more than what it should’ve been, but I shouldn’t have been charged 38$. I have to get my nails completely redone now. I will not be coming back. I’d really like a refund.

The staff are relatively friendly. Lisa was the woman who did my full acrylic set and I DO NOT RECOMMEND. She was careless when cutting my cuticles and filing my natural nail. My middle finger nail is completely crooked and none of the nails are evenly shaped. My pedicure was surprisingly pleasant. If you take the risk of coming to this location I believe the nail tech Eric is your best choice.

The lady that did my nails was extremely nice, but she interrupt to do a walk-in brow wax. And once I got out into my car I noticed she didnt cover the whole nail to the edge. No time to get it corrected.Day 2 one nail chipped. Guess going back.

This is my second time here at Vip Nail & Spa. The quality and care put on these nails by the ladies is amazing. The staff is impeccable. They took her time shaping and cleaning my nails. Very clean, very comfortable chairs. Cant stop staring at my nails…Hands down still the best place to get my SPA On! !

I have been to so many nail salons in the area and by far, this HAS to be the best one. Friendly staff and my nails look amazing. I’ve always had a problem with nail salons making my acrylics uneven and not looking like the picture I show them, but this nail salon is amazing. You can show them any picture of nails you want done and they’ll do it exactly like the picture. I’m very impressed and will be going to this place all the time.

Had a wonderful pedicure yesterday! THE best massage Ive ever gotten! The atmosphere there was delightful... quiet, peaceful, and relaxing! The complimentary beverage is a wonderful touch! Will go back again!

Amazing customer service! I had gotten my nails done and the next week the polish was chipped on one nail, totally because of my own doing. When I returned insisting to pay to have it fixed they completely reshaped and painted my nails a new color for NO charge at all, on the spot. Very good work and professional! Great business all around!

I came into town for a wedding. I had a nail fixed and a fill-in, one week passed and I needed another fill-in and my nail that was fixed???? did not look like the others. The nail tech knew because she kept asking about it. Didnt have time sit. Better luck next time. my nails last for 3 weeks when I do them in Houston.

I really wouldn’t even give one star! I got me nails done not even a whole week ago and my nails are lifting!! I went back once and was told to come bk with in a week if it happens again! As it did I went back today and was told my nails was fine when clearly they weren’t! Even customers said they wasnt! The refuse to fix my nails the boyfriend of the lady who did my nails was very rude, he told me she not fixing them and I need to leave! Told me I was the only person (which is a lie) who has complained about my nails! I asked for the owner and he told me he wasn’t there and he was the manager and I need to leave! I paid 40 dollars for something that ain’t last a week! And than wasted my lunch break on coming back for a fix as she told me to do for her to refuse to do them!

Depends on who you get. Generally their quote for wait times is accurate. Eric is amazing- if you get him its worth the slightly higher prices.

Great place to get your nails done! I wear acrylic nails and Tom, Eric, and the others do a great job on them! And most important is I dont have any lifting of the edges before I go back for a fill-in.

I went there to get my nails done and honestly a new girl took her time and did a excellent job on my feet. My only problem was the next morning after I got out of the bathtub my polish had faded on my big toe a little bit. I didn’t get mad because I only needed a coat on one toe which I thought was a easy fix. My hands looked awesome when I left but in the morning I looked at my thumb and the corner was chipped so I looked a little harder and there was very small chips on the edge of my pinky and middle finger. That didn’t bother me cause again it would have been a easy fix. What blew me was I came back in the morning and the owner said come back she not here. Really she could have fixed it. When I came back the person who did my hands was with someone so I sat down to wait. While waiting the owner decided to fix my nail. She just painted over the chip. I could still see white when it was dry so I showed her she was snotty and said wait for her then. She we be awhile. Like why do something if your not going to do it right. So I told her I’ll fix it myself and I did. She assumed I messed them up when I didn’t. She said don’t go open a soda can??? I don’t even drink out of cans. I said I didn’t and she got rude and said OkOk! She IS NOT PROFESSIONAL !! I would deal with the other girls if they didn’t work there, but never going in there while that lady works there EVER!! By the way I paid over 100$!!

The girl I had talked me into this powder dip polish because she said it was better than gel (lasted longer, came off easier, was better for you nails). It is NOT better in any way! It is super thick & impossible to get off - I spent about 2 hours total trying to get it off (a hour at home & a hour at different nail salon). Come to find out this product is cheaper than gel so they can make more money off you (they dont charge any less for it). This place is also slightly more expensive than other places in Peoria.

First time at VIP nails, the service was wonderful. I had a super relaxing lavender pedicure and they have nail powder thats AWESOME. For whatever reason my nails hurt under a UV light but the powder has the same look as gel without the light. Everyone who helped me was friendly, the whole experience was relaxing and I will go back next time :)

The nail station I was at was not clean. Poor demeanor from the lady doing my nails. Instead of soaking my nails or filling down the ripped them off. Not even kidding. Never returning.

Well first let’s talk about my eyebrows... a mess they didn’t look good. I woke up the next day with bumps on the top and bottom of my eyebrows. I felt like it was because the wax station was unsanitary they used the same stick for everyone’s eyebrows and the lady that did them was very aggressive. My nails... when she started on my acrylics she didn’t really do anything to my real nails and again she was aggressive. The nails she put on me did not fit my real nail and were really thin when she got done. And she left a lot of crud under my nails I had to pick a them for a good 10 minutes to get everything out. When I got my toes done it was a younger nice lady and she did a great job she was very polite and my toes looked great ❤️. But overall they didn’t have a good first impression on me, all the hype for vip should stop. And change the prices on the website! Adding on to my review a couple days later... my nail broke 🤦🏾‍♀️ It hasn’t even been two weeks yet 👎🏾

They rushed through my nails and they were pointed up and indented. I went back in to get them fixed and another customer had the same problems I did. They redid all of my nails and they look good now but I have acrylic all over my fingers. I definitely wont be back.

Absolutely by any means do NOT do business with this location. I was there for almost 3 hours for a pedicure and a set of nails. Its wasnt the amount of time that bothered me as much as the fact that I was first quoted one price and then when it came time to pay was charged an extra $30. I was shuffled to 4 different nail techs, if that is even what they are. The first had no idea what to do, the next ripped my old overlay off without soaking them until I begged for her to do so. The overlay she put on is glued to skin on all fingers and overlaps the skin around my nails. As the overlay peels away from my skin it is making the soft skin under my nails red, sore and bleed. I asked for her to make them short and she apparently was annoyed began shouting something in another language and another nail tech came down. He picked up my stuff without a word and started to move me to another station. He then tried fix what she had done. At that point I just wanted out of there. I had a picture on my phone of the colors I wanted and had them sitting next to me. He then says you just want something simple. Not really as a question but as matter of fact. As if I didnt already feel uncomfortable enough I agreed and picked a plain color. Another woman then makes me pay so she can close her drawer before my nails were even painted. And charged me $30 more than quoted. I tried to ask why as she is telling me I really need to get my eyebrows done. She was correct but after that debacle there was no way I was letting them touch them. I called to try to speak with the manager and get a refund for just the nail charges only to be yelled at and basically called a liar and a scam artist. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Please believe me when I say this is not the place you want to support. I was offered how ever to drive 2 and 1/2 back to their location to get them taken off. No way would I let them touch me again.

Just overall disappointed... was supposed to have a reservation so we could do our nails together, but when we walked in they didnt treat us any different than wall ins and had to wait and be split up. That wasnt a huge deal, my biggest disappointment is my less than two week old gel manicure just chipping and pealing off on every finger, some have come half off already. :-(

After an awful, cuticle-bleedy experience at a different nail salon two weeks ago, I decided to upgrade to a proper day spa. I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday morning and was greeted warmly and was served right away, their customer service was the BEST so will returning soon for next pedis!

Clean and friendly staff with really high quality of work.... I super happy with my mani... being my day up ....

They are horrible at eyebrows. One was very thin and the other was big and the top wasn’t straight.. never again at least for eyebrows

Do Not go here for dipped nail. They charged me $55 for tips with dipped powder and my nails looks absolutely terrible . They are uneven, and crooked. When i pointed it out to them I was told, oh thats because your nails grows like that. Funny because I have never had that issue at other salons. And while I was leaving another girl was complaining about the same issue. Save your money and the aggression go somewhere else.

In the past, I have called ahead to either make an appointment or check to see if this place takes walk-ins, and they do. Store hours are posted as open until 7pm. I walked in at 5:30pm to an empty salon for a pedicure. I was immediately turned away, by a woman shaking her head and saying “No, I’m done for tonight.” I drove across town for the quality job this salon provides, but I won’t be doing that again.

The nail techs are nice, but the quality of service is subpar. Ive been here twive now to get a mani-pedi. The pedi was good until they told me that it was $5 extra to remove dead skin with the shaver. Isnt that a standard part of a pedi? My shellac or gel manis never last 2 full weeks. Always chipping and peeling in a week. Not worth the money. I went out of town and got my nails done and was able to make my mani last 3 full weeks. On my last visit, I witnessed a woman come in with a full set that shed just gotten done 2 days prior. 4 of the nails were broken. They wouldnt fix it because they said it was her own fault. Ive never had a salon make me pay to fix their errors. Beautiful nail salon though. Work just doesnt match.
