Today was my wedding day and I went to Trends Salon & Spa for my bridal hair and makeup, and I am SO glad I did! My appointment was right at open (9 A.M.) and my stylist, Kat, had the best energy with her contagious optimism. After hair (which turned out beautifully and stayed beautiful for over 12 hours), I went to my makeup session and my artist happened to be Kats daughter (Rochelle? Unsure on spelling!) She was so creative and clearly talented- I got compliments on my makeup all day AND night, and we got a photo preview from our photographer and the makeup just glows perfectly. They both clearly know what they are doing. The bridal coordinator was fabulous as well, always asking if she could get me something to drink, and when there was some confusion regarding a change in payment, she handled it smoothly and helpfully. I could go on and on about my great experience, but I think I would run out of characters! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a great experience of quality and value!

Place was amazing! Took someone there for valentines day and was VERY pleased. Have gotten my hair cut there as well and Angela B. did an amazing job on both! She is such a great person to sit with and get stuff done. Person I took got a haircut and eyebrows waxed, both of which turned out great! 10/10 would recommend! And recommend Angela to everyone! Wow! Im 58 and I just got the best haircut of my life! SANDY was my stylist and SHE was AMAZING! I went in with long hair which I wanted about 8 inches cut off of into a complicated style with layers. I got exactly what I wanted, but certainly wasnt expecting to really get it lol. I was just hoping to get close to what I asked for. My expectations were far surpassed! I will definitely stick with Sandy and Trends Salon and Spa which was really a nice place! Probably the nicest salon Ive ever been in and yet the price was very reasonable. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

This place is amazing! I went to see Rocio and she did wonders with my hair. I haven’t gotten it done since 2019 and it needed some help. She was very sweet and a good listener. If you need your hair colored I would go to her!

There was a cancellation, and it must have been fate. I was first impressed with the professional way in which I was greeted, and offered something to drink. The waiting area is cozy and warm. I felt instantly welcome. I came to try Trends because I had a bad experience with my previous hairstylist. Then...I met Cat! I am beyond pleased, joyous and happy with the results. I cannot begin to express the way I went from sad and upset about my hair to unable to stay away from mirrors, giggling jubilantly and loving how I looked.

I scheduled an appointment two days ago and upon arriving at the salon 15 minutes early I waited to be greeted. I waited a total of thirty minutes for someone to come to the desk. A woman walked in after me and is checked in by the receptionist and the receptionist goes right back to the back. I got up and left. New clients should get better service than that. I got a call shortly after arriving back home from the salon for the receptionist to tell me I’m late for my appointment after waiting all that time. I won’t go back.

Cat Chapron is the best wedding stylist around! We had her come to the beach house, where we were hosting my daughters wedding around noon for a 6pm beach wedding. OMG, she was Phenomenal!!! She styled the 3 bridesmaids, the bride and the mother of the bride, me. Ive never loved my hair more. She did a ponytail, for me, which made my hair look so long and luxurious. My daughter was gorgeous, with her hair half up and half down. And then each of the bridesmaids were breathtaking as well. Thank you Cat! You were a joy to have with us during this truly life changing moment. Much love!

The owner, Laurie, was extremely customer service oriented. She went above and beyond for my mom and I to make sure we were happy. She is one to learn from when it comes to great service. I will definitely keep going to her.

I only trust Erin at Trends with my 5 year old bi-racial daughters curly hair. Erin is very experienced with different types of curly hair and always does a beautiful job with my daughters hair. (She also is great with straight hair) She is very gentle, patient and fun with my daughter too. The salon is always clean and peaceful. Great location too. We love Trends!

I had Cat as my stylist and she was absolutely amazing. I have never been happier with a cut. She even gave me some tips on what to use on my hair and how. I will definitely be going back.

Cat is A HAIR GURU!!! The last 2 times I got my hair done I was overcharged for a chick to do my hair and no one could even tell it was done nor was it blonde like Id requested!! Cat exceeded my expectations with her awesome personality and amazing skills!! And her price was what I would consider to be reasonable for what I had done!!! I have finally found my new stylist!! I will be telling everyone how great she is!!

She made sure she understood what I was asking for and gave me a beautiful cut and perfect color! She is my stylist for life! The salon staff is pleasant and its a great atmosphere. I have been going to this place to get my hair cut done for the past 3 months and I really cant find anything to complain about. The staff are are very friendly, and the building is well kept along with that the people cutting the hair know what there doing. Unlike some other places in town. The price is a little above average but is worth every penny. Along with this there is free WiFi and drinks while you wait. If you are looking for a good consistent hair place then this is a great place for that.

I have to say I am fascinated with Trends Salon. I am newer to the Pensacola area and I have lived in so many different places (military brat, military wife) and this is by far one of the nicer salons I have been too. I had Nicole Stephenson and she was more than amazing. I typically keep my hair pretty basic and never thought about trying something new. Nicole looked at me for a minute and suggested a new cut/style. I was feeling a little spontaneous so I took her advice. I have NEVER had this many compliments in my life. She made me look beautiful. She took her time, she is great company, and she has definitely earned repeated business from me. I have been referring my friends to her. If your going to Trends, try to get in with Nicole Stephenson!! She is simply fantastic and the salon in gorgeous!!

Very nice establishment! Pisces came highly recommended by a friend, and she did an excellent job. My hair is overdue for a touch-up, and I’m still getting compliments to this day! It is pricey, but I have learned the hard way you get what you pay for.

She completely understood what I wanted, explained to me everything she was doing with my hair before she did it, and even explained the products she put in my hair. My wifes favorite hairdresser its there, always does a good job. The receptionist always asks if you are waiting and if they can get you something to drink. Very friendly place to get your hair done.

My friend recommended this salon for a quality cut. I usually go somewhere like Hair Cuttery or Great Clips and I wanted to try somewhere a little more reputable. The salon itself was super nice and comfortable. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. My stylist asked me what I wanted before we got started. I have very straight and easy hair so I didn’t want anything complicated; just a trim and some layers. Once my appointment is was over, I went home and immediately had qualms about my haircut. It wasn’t what I had asked for and the layers were very harsh and choppy, not blended at all. I considered calling back and seeing if it could be fixed, but decided it wasn’t worth it. I might as well have saved $30 and tried my luck at a lower quality salon.

Only place I will go for my hair. They take hair health seriously and ALWAYS put out an amazing job!

I dont know where to even begin with how amazing my experience was. I was recommended Trends by somebody because I was having a destination wedding in Pensacola. Jessica was my contact person and she responded to emails the entire way through and touched base with me close to my wedding. Erin was the one that did my hair and make-up. First let me just say that I had NO trial run with Erin. We showed her photos when she got there morning of and she delivered perfectly. It felt like she was just one of the girls helping us get ready. Everything lasted all night and I got soo many compliments on my hair and make up. There is no possible way I would have felt as great as I did on my wedding day if it wasnt for Erin!

Love my stylist Katie Leal! She works wonders with my baby fine hair. Highly recommend her!

The first warning sign was that I had to wait 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to start because the hairdresser was not there. No one offered me a drink or apologized for the delay, and I was told two different excuses for why she wasnt ready. When she finally came to start my haircut she also didnt apologize, and took a phone call for five minutes during our appointment while still trying to cut my hair. After being there for almost 2 hours I was ready to leave, and the bill was almost twice what I had been quoted originally. When I complained, they explained that the independent consultants set their own prices, which was never mentioned when I booked. After this fiasco I will most definitely not be returning to Trends.

I used Trends for my wedding (hair and makeup for me and all of my bridesmaids and nails for myself). Not only is the work stunning but these girls made us feel like queens. My wedding was chaos and they handled everything with such grace. My makeup held up through hours of crying and my hair stayed beautiful after an outdoor ceremony and reception during a hurricane! We got married September 10th (Irma). I wouldnt trust anyone else with my glamour the way I trust the girls at Trends.

I had the best experience possible! Since leaving California, 5 years ago I have not been happy with my hair at all . Lene Salvesen is who I like to call the hair doctor. She rescued my hair from a brassy orange color back to the ashy blonde that I wanted . She knows the latest trends by staying current and truly has a gift with color. She was also able to achieve the style I wanted without damaging or cutting off all my hair . I plan to exclusively go to her as long as I live here. Also the salon itself has a calm tropical feel that makes ever trip a pleasure.Thank you for making me feel beautiful again.Heather Hunt

I cant say anything is wrong with trends salon as a whole cause that would be unfair to the salon itself. Im aiming it towards a specific hair stylist that thinks she knows what looks good and what words/terms appeal to her and not what you want. My first haircut was absolutely embarrassing and had to go back to leave somewhat satisfied cause it was a ton better but still not what i wanted. She was to scared to cut it to short and had to come back sooner than i thought for a trim. I came back with confidence thinking I was just going to get 1 inch cut off but for some reason she had to just remember how it was last time and cut 3 inches off. As a customer I dont want you to freestyle how you want to style if all i asked for was a 1 inch trim in the front and 1.5 inch trim in the back. Now when it grows out im going to have a bob. It sucks thinking that I thought i found a hairstylist that would become my go-to but with more misses than hits, not just me my friend as well, its not worth spending my money there. I dont want to say her name for the respect of her business but i wouldnt recommend someone to her that isnt strong with color and inconsistencies in haircuts. So trends salon isnt the issue its just this one hairstylist. 2/5 for her 4/5 for the salon

I went last night to get a biolage! I came in about 6:15 and we were there almost 3 hours! Lene Salvesen did the most amazing job on my hair. I am so picky when it comes to my hair and she took everything I said into consideration while also giving my so many helpful tips. She would not let me leave until I was satisfied with my result and I couldn’t be more happier! I will definitely be going back to her!

This is the only place that I come to do my hair now in the Pensacola area. Jessica Speedy has a gift for turning my hair into a beautiful work of art. She wont let you leave until you are beyond satisfied.

Horrible experience! I will never come here again. I went to get my hair dyed (with a haircut) and they didn’t even do the right color. Then they bleached it without my knowledge and denied it at first, but then admitted to doing so later on. My hair is now damaged and not even a pleasant color. The haircut itself was also terrible and very uneven.

Went in for my trial run for my wedding. I wanted my hair to be natural and wavy and it was just a curly mess at the end of the day ( have straight hair ). I had my make-up done too and didnt even recognize myself in the mirror, probably because Im not used to it, but it made me so uncomfortable. I was embarrassed to be seen when I walked out of the salon. Whats worse is that my face broke out pretty badly. I now only have two weeks to get rid of all the new zits on my face :(I just didnt have a good experience.

OK mens haircut, not great. She was nice, but she cut it dry, supercuts style and just kind of freestyled it.

My 16 year old daughter went to Trends salon to have her hair bleached then dyed pink. Her dad chose this salon because it is supposed to be a high end, quality salon. First of all, we were not informed of the possible irreversible damage this would cause her hair. Secondly, once the damage was done and she was in the process of drying her hair, her dad asked why her hair looked so stringy, the stylist replied it will be stronger when her hair is dry. My girl lost 6 inches of her length and because the damage is so bad, she is getting 8 more inches cut off. We paid top dollar for the worst experience in her life. My stylist said and I quote, they destroyed her hair.

I have been going to trends salons for years, but after last night it will be my last. My stylist rocio double booked herself creating a huge mess. I wanted a grey ashy blonde and a cut, I had arrived at 3:30 and didnt walk out till after 8pm. after she had washed the color out of my hair she asked me to wait while she did a cut. My hair was soaking wet sitting waiting for over an hour. I had to ask her what was going on, go to the front desk for help. They dont care because they work independently and no one helps you but your stylist. I should have been the priority to finish before stating a new client. After she drys my hair is wasnt even the color I had asked for. All she did was highlights and Chesnut brown lowlights I was furious. She said she could fix it with toner . She rushed through my haircut and the color of my hair is terrible . where she processed all the highlights my hair now has turned purple. What a mess. And for $160! Will not be back.
