I have been using the same hairdresser for YEARS! And I always tell everyone “I’ve made the mistake of trying a different place and was quickly reminded why I only use Kay at Belk!” From the time you walk in, everyone is just so nice and welcoming, I can’t recall a time where I’ve had the slightest bad time. I haven’t ever grown my hair out this long and I was super nervous about cutting a lot off but I knew I could trust Kay so I let her work her magic and I’m in love with what she did! I used my lunch break at work to go to my hair appt and when I returned to work, I got so many compliments on it and random customers telling me how much they loved my hair and asking ‘who did it and where at’. I definitely recommend Kay, she’s amazing!!!

Today was my first time ever coming here and I can tell you now I will be back. All the staff were super friendly and absolutely amazing and professional. I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Berkeley, she was absolutely the sweetest. I have never had my hair done so well in all my years of having my hair dyed. It feels so healthy and looks SO GOOD the best it ever has. I will definitely be booking further appointments!

I love this salon. Everyone is so friendly and polite. Professional but not stuffy. My stylist, Berkeley Humphreys, does a fantastic job coloring my hair and does an excellent job of styling. I’d recommend this salon to everyone.

I came in to get belk to get long layers ..easy you would think...no..she made choppy long bangs which I didnt ask for then tried to fix it by texture cutting which just made it shorter and worse...layers is a basic hair cut. My hair was long almost to my waist and the same length...didnt think it was that hard...worst haircut Ive had in a very long time..found out girl was new and only there 3 months..and guy before me complained too..I thought he was just being picky. Nope.

I came in for a haircut and left feeling beautiful and pampered. Lexie did an excellent job on my hair and I will definitely tell my friends and family what a great place Belk’s Salon is.

If you want a great stylist go see Holly at Belk. She is amazing!! My hair has never looked or felt so good. She listened to what I wanted and helped me decide what would be best for me. Holly explained the hair products she was using on my hair as she was doing my hair. I love my new cut, color and highlights. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment.

I have been a client of Ryan Weber long before he worked at Belk. He is one of the best stylists in this region. Not only the best Stylist but one of the best people I know. So Ryan gets 5 Stars.But the Salon and people working there are a different story. I never feel comfortable around the other stylist there . Their professionalism has a lot to be desired. And I would never live my house dressed in the sleazy outfits they work in.I want to walk in to a salon and feel Welcome and comfortable having a conversation with my stylist as well as anyone else working there. Not the feel I get when I walk in. All the “ girls stylist “ seem like robots when talking to the public. I would recommend a very intense Customer Service class for your “female staff”.SO THE SALON GETS A 1 STAR.

I came in there Saturday the 17th of April. My appointment was at 1:30. The lady was 20 min past my appointment time at least. In that time I thought about going else where. I wish I had. I told her I wanted gray. She said platinum. I told her I didnt want platinum. My roots and half my midstrand is a level 10, my ends are about an 8. My hair is 2 toned now. The contrast is awful. The colors clash. Ive spoken with other stylists...they all said they wouldnt have let me even leave the salon with my hair like that. (Ive gone to 3 different salons and consulted with other hair dressers that have been licensed for at least a decade). The thought of paying more money so my hair is even...makes me cringe. I knew something was wrong when the stylist went from super excited to see the transformation to drying my hair in a way to where I couldnt even see it...then explaining the 2 town reverse ombre look...I wanted to cry. She mentioned highlights....the hair is at least 2 levels apart. She would have to lift the bottom to even pull highlights...just highlights would break up the disaster that is my hair. I got my hair done as a gift to myself. I am very unsatisfied and although initially I wasnt going to complain...I just am that upset about the contrast and uneven choppy reverse ombre when I wanted a solid color that wasnt platinum. There was also a 20 coupon for first time clients that I saw was offered to others and wasnt to me. I paid 165 for color correction tipped 25 and got a pureology product.

Liane S does a precision haircut and a gorgeous, natural looking color. She is personable and concerned about meeting the clients expectations every time. She has been doing my hair for almost 4 years and I actually followed her to this salon because she is that good!

Came in with a mess of a mop on my head, asked them if why could do anything, and that they were able to do anything they wanted. got ryan to cut off my burnt off ends from bleach and he styled it very well! also excellent customer service he was very kind and outgoing and made sure i was as comfortable as possible!

The entire salon is extremely clean, friendly, and filled with staff that are willing to help you whenever you might need them. Jane, especially, is a master of her trade. From day one she knew what to do with my hair without even being told. There’s never a dull or disappointing visit and she’s always willing to work around unexpected changes in a day to day schedule.

Jane is the best of all time! She gave me the beautiful hair that my inner unicorn has always wanted! Highly recommended and will be using her for all my hair needs.

I went to get my hair trimmed and my hair came out uneven and when left after my hair getting styled it was way frizzier then normal but my hair is so uneven they said I could go back and get it cut again but I’m generally worried that it’s still going to be uneven also the shampoo that was used on me smelled like dish soap other then that they where nice

I was thoroughly impressed with the service and quality at Belk Salon & Spa! It was my first time being there and navigating through the store I hoped there would be more signage on where the salon and spa was located because Rachel Newbill did such a wonderful cut, color and style, plus a mini photo shoot which highlighted the depth of colors and the perfect cut to bring my hair back to life... there needs to be arrows pointing to the second floor so everyone knows its up there! Ill definitely be back and I got a first time visit take home goodie back with discounts on all their other services! Thank you Rachel, Ill be back for sure!
