Love this gym. It has a variety of machines that are well maintained. The cardio equipment is very good and there are a lot of them too so you never have to wait. The staff is very friendly and there is very little to no judgement. Ive seen body builders and beginners working out side by side here.

Great equipment. Good environment. Will not be renewing membership. Too many meat heads. Would rather go somewhere else. Will try Planet Fitness when it opens up.

No matter which membeship you may have, GOLDS GYM EXPRESS of Pekin, Illinois is thee very best gym for miles.From the owner / manager to the trainors to whoever is behind the front desk, ALL are very knowledgeable in the workings of their environment(s).ALWAYS clean, ALWAYS helpful.

This is one of muy favorite places to workout. Why you might ask? Staff that go out of the way to make you feel welcome every time you step foot in the gym. Reasonably priced. Equipment that works. They have several benchs squat racks and even a deadlift platform. Tanning. And they even offer babysitting on sertent days.at the moment they have even joined up with a local fitness kick boxing club and started a boot camp you can join to shred that extra weight you might be carrying around from the holidays. Didnt go there

Good variety of machines and free weights and lots of cardio machines. The cardio cinema is a nice plus. I just wish that rules were enforced a little better (keeping on shirts and shoes, reracking weights, etc) and that the off-the-clock trainers and their buddies wouldnt hog equipment.

Didnt renew my membership on Feb, 14th . Now I am getting phone calls and voice mails 7 days a week from a billing service about a problem with my membership. Now I have received a bill in the mail with Late Fees! Stopped by GGE to ask what is going on. I was told that just because I didnt renew my membership it is does NOT CANCEL my membership! What? Told them to cancel please. Was told that they couldnt cancel until my bill was paid, and that if not paid soon would be turned over to a collection agency. I am calling the BBB and the states attorney.
