I have been going to Discovery Nails since they first opened. I use to enjoy coming here and getting great service. However, every since Covid the service has been horrible. I recently had a booked appointment with the a particular nail technician and arrived early. She dropped me for someone who was not on the books. The nail technician that did my French manicure was ok, however, after a couple of days all 4 of my nails were chipped. Thats alot of money $80 every 3 weeks for nails to be chipping. I went back to get the owner to redo them since shes the only one left now thats really good. I called her and she agreed she would redo them. Once I got there, she had the same young girl who did them to redo and said she was busy. I find this to be very disrespectful, will NOT be back. Also, they started to Nickle and dine me, adding extra charges.

Kelly is amazing! Came in as a walk-in, had a reference photo and she nailed it! Pun intended haha. I recommend this place and if you get a chance get Kelly. Thank you Discovery Nails!

I stopped in for a pedicure and a built up clear overlay manicure. It was apparent the nail technician was not knowledgeable of process. Nails were thick and uneven. I asked for the service to be stopped, nails removed and to just continue with pedicure. Kelly informed me I would still have to pay for 1/2 of the nail service due to the time. In my kind I didn’t care how long he wasn’t working if the outcome is unsatisfactory to the customer. However, I paid anyway and will never revisit. Long story if you have a go to salon don’t pass it up just to come to one in your neighborhood...and especially this one.

Been going here for years! I love them! Very clean, welcoming, and their prices aren’t out the roof like most places. Love love love this place and I won’t ever leave!

It was a good experience. The pedicure was very detailed. However it would have been nicer if the pumice bar and callous scraper had been sanitized. I could tell that most of the tools had not been. I dont know if I will return for this reason.

They just lost a once loyal customer due to poor training and damage to both big toe nail beds. The lady who has done my toes for the last 3 years buffed my toe nails with the most abrasive side of the buffer that my nails eroded so thin that one of the nails split in two when I knocked it against something. My once normally strong toe nails are now paper thin that they actually BEND. I brought it to the attention of the manager (who is by chance the owners daughter) and she coated both big toe nails with enamel to give it strength as they grow out. She charged me 40 DOLLARS for damages her salon did. When I confronted her about the additional charge she refused to provide good customer service by taking care of a customer who has damage to her nails that HER salon did and will take months to grow out. When I told her I wouldnt be leaving a tip for her or the lady who damaged my nails, she then explained, trying to make ME feel bad for the other lady who would be out the tip due to her bad customer service. She began telling me the horrible wages the girls make, basically sweat shop wages and the girls depend in their tips. As if THAT is going to sway me! It repulsed ME! Knowing THAT and now being overcharged to pay for their damage on MY body....FORGET IT. NEVER GOING BACK. Im absolutely disgusted. I once loved this place but now I see the greed and lack of responsibility they own over their mistakes, never again. She didnt even apologize for what they did to my nails and was spoken to as if it were MY fault, HA! TERRIBLE!!! I hope nobody goes through this damage nor stress by being taken advantage of.

I went into this facility to get my lashes done. I asked her could she do them and what kind of glue was she using for my lashes . She said it was lash glue . I just wanted a nice natural looking lash nothing to much. I advised that i had on contacts as well.She made it to thick on the eye, even when i told her i didn’t like the one eye she kept trying to persuade me it was fine. I told her to stop and don’t do the other eye . She then told me you will still have to pay for that one eye. No problem at all. Even though i was specific about what i wanted and she didn’t do that. She proceeds to put some liquid on a q tip saying it would remove it. The liquid gets in my eye. It’s burning horribly . All she’s saying is sit here in the back it will stop. After a while my eye began to calm down she wasn’t apologetic at all she just kept having other employees to approach me about the fee. This has been the worst experience of my life . Yes my service was paid for, they had the audacity to ask for a tip. Not once did she apologize. Will never return .

I loved the ladies that did my toes, super sweet and they did so good!However...I had called ahead for an appointment and even told them that I didnt have tons of time and I needed to get to my early Christmas with my family soon since I have to work on Christmas. But I sat and waited after they finished my toes for 35 minutes because there was only one person that did the dip powder. I wasnt even explained to that other manicures or shellac or anything else would have been faster and couldve been done right away. I dont know the difference, so that information would have been really nice so I could have my nails done for Christmas pictures with my new engagement ring. I was only told this as I told them I wanted to check out and was leaving. I had said multiple times I needed to go soon. So it was just really disappointing.I do think it is a nice establishment and they did a really good job outside of this unfortunate situation.I will go back though and update my rating if I have a better experience next time!

These are the worst nails I have ever had!!!!! Please do not waste your time.I got my nails done today and I’m already trying to schedule my next mail appointment ELSE WHERE!!!!!!

I enjoy getting my nails done here. Its the only nail shop I go to. Titi is awesome. Love the wine too. Always a good place to relax and unwind.

Kelly is the best and I like my nails with her. But every time I have to wait more than 30 minutes even though I have an appointment. I drive to Pearland 40 me minutes and than I wait.

I love this place, its the only place I go to get my nails done. Everyones so nice here and they do a beautiful job every time.

Place looks nice but Im never coming back here again. I went for a soak off Friday July 1st and my nails started hurting severely the next day and are still killing me today (July 3rd). I understand they were busy because of the fourth but these are nails were talking about and rushing customer service is not cool. My nails were filed down too thin and I cant even put them under hot water or even scratch my head. Ive never experienced this before and Im never coming back here again.

This is the only nail salon I will go to in the Pearland area, and I have been coming here since they opened about 4 years ago. In fact, I was one of the first customers when they opened the salon! The salon is clean, and the workers are friendly and offer the best customer service. In addition, they offer bottled water and other drinks including wine. Please ask for TT or Kelly, and you will not be disappointed with your nail service. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer service is the best in Pearland!!
