I had very long thick, curly hair down to my waist that I attempted to bleach and dye gray from home, but Ive been box coloring my hair since I was 16 and unaware that you were supposed to strip the box color out first. I got quotes from all over town for a color correct and ended up going with Chris from the kutting edge because she gave me the lowest quote of $60-80 dollars. Upon arrival she told me that it would be $100 because of my hair being so long and thick. She then bleached it, didnt strip it, then cut over eight inches off, probably closer to nine without my consent or even warning me when she had said that she would only trim it two inches. So essentially I paid $40-$20 extra for her to bleach hair that I only got to keep for maybe an hour. She cut and layered it very bluntly and unattractively, which my hair being so thick and curly having hair thats now so short it doesnt even touch my shoulders (when its not straightened) and cut bluntly gives my hair an awful looking demi-afro effect. She then toned it to make it gray but it came out blonde on the bottom and blue on top because it wouldnt take to the box color, as expected. I cried for at least an hour when I got home. I didnt leave the house for weeks and when I did I wore a beanie and hid all my hair inside of it. I called her to tell her how unhappy I was with it and she told me there was nothing she could do because gray is a color thats actually a six month process to achieve which a) just simply isnt true, and b) Id like to know why she attempted it in the first place if she believed that to be the case.

I visited this place on a recommendation, I am new in area and needed a hair cut. I went in and there were 2peopke working each with a guest, I sat there for about 10 minutes without anyone saying a work or even a knowledging that I was even there. Customer service is huge for me and this place lacked it, I left and went elsewhere

Took my daugher for ombre. When finished, the top half of her hair was dark brown & the bottom very blonde. No fade, just a harsh, solid, uneven line where brown meets blond. I requested a repair, which she attempted, and after two shampoos was back to the extreme blonde against dark brown solid line. I have had to fix this two more times with home kits, but the color continues to wash out & leave the solid, very uneven, line across the hair at the mid-neck level. This was the first color for my daughter, prior to this poor attempt at an ombre she had virgin hair.
