Tire replacement, oil change and battery testing and replacing. These guys do it all well. Sure they can get busy cause of the great service and value. I just drop it off and have them call me. Its easy. Nice guys too. I couldnt pick up my car the day it was ready, so over night they locked it up. Never had a problem. Keep it up.

They will not honor warranties. They will find a way to make it your fault. I only had these cooper ht tires for 3 months they wore evenly to the wire. To top it off the best corporate would do is charge me 280 for new tires. Scam artist. Good tires dont run to the wire in 5k miles over 3 months. I have never had tires go bad that fast.

Went to get a tire changed. I had a flat and just needed a new one. Got it done and when driving my car started to shake going 50 mph. Went back and told them and them they told me I needed another new tire and my brakes and rotors were bad in the front and they balanced and rotated my tires. Fine, they charge me $700 my car still shakes. I went back again. They said they will check the balance again (I told them I think they gave me a bad tire) my car never shook until that tire. Nope they said balancing was off on a couple of tires. Now my car shakes at 60. I don’t even trust going back there again. But I need this shaking to stop and shouldn’t have to pay for their mess up.Update: they emailed me and told me to contact them at corporate. They said a regional manager would be in touch with me a week has gone by and no one has contacted me. I went to my mechanic and he also confirmed they gave me a bad tire.

Mavis reset my TPMS sensors after another tire company fixed a flat and the light wouldn’t turn off. They even took my car in sooner than expected, had it reset in 3 minutes and even waived the fee to relearn the sensors. Thanks guys.

I got there before other customers, and for some reason they got their service and left before me. It seems that the arrival order is not followed, or at least that is what I noticed when I was there waiting for my car. I had to wait there 4+- hours for tires replacement.Overall, to make my experience short and if you have any problem you have to speak up. Scott is a really great understanding person and will help to solve your issues as he did with me. Good place to go for your service. You just have to have patience and make sure you get what you need.Thanx

Price quote from reservation on website to final bill at counter, after installation differed by about $100. When I showed them the breakdown I received versus their computers, all they said was, well we charged you less per tire. LOL But my grand total was $100 more! Wasnt going to waste my time with the guy at the counter over basic math. Called and emailed corporate but they never returned my call or email. Also, make sure your new tires come with a warranty! Theyll surprise you with $13/tire for that which increased the price even further. Transparency in pricing is appreciated!

ZERO stars. Customer service is horrible. Came in for my 10am appointment for an inspection ... after about 10 mins someone finally comes up from the back. He says whats up.. seemed annoyed he acutally had to help customers. I said hi im here for my 10am appointment. He replied with for what very nasty. I told him for an inspection. He then continued to have an attitude and said well you have to leave it. Its going to take hours. I said no thank you i will leave and that i made an appointment and thought it wouldnt take too long and i had to wait for it. He proceeded to yell across the room as i was almost out of the door that even when you make an appointment its a 1-2hour wait. No thanks i will never be going back there. I regret not getting his name. Stay away

It was an hour before Marcos was closing. Ahead of me in line was an older lady who had just blown a tire and was on a donut. The told her they couldn’t get her in today. I had the same problem blown tire right near blown about an hour prior. I put on donut and I got same no not today answer. Now come on mavis. allowing us to be a safety risk to ourselves and others on the road??? I drove a few miles away to pep boys . They were getting ready to close in 30 minutes. They got me in and out. They were willing to help the customer in urgent need and willing to stay late to get it done. Me no like mavis anymore. Never go back and I liked them before this. .

Edit: Scott, the manager, called me the next morning and rectified the issue. I was credited for my new tire rating by Scott easily over the phone. A+ customer service and satisfaction.Im only leaving a two-star review because the older gentleman at the counter who helped me was very nice and understanding, but whoever prorated my tire ripped me off really bad. They prorated my tire at 50% when the tire was only 2 months old with a few hundred miles on it. The tires that I have on my car from when I purchased it brand new 3 years ago or not even at 50%. The warranty sees me some money, but not the amount that it should have. I wont be using Mavis again for my tire needs

Went to this location to get a tire replace and was told that it was my fault and that I needed it repaired. After I was told that the replacement had a price attached which was ridiculous to say the least ; I informed him that my tire was under warranty to which they told me to take it to another location to get the job done. They didnt want to honor the warranty policy that was in place. A warranty that I pay for 5 hours prior when I had the tire replace in the first place. Accusing and Accusing are not the way that business is done and so as per this review I will contact corporate and leave an email about ghis experience. Spending $600 plus does not asks for the 5 star service: I only asks that they try to get there.

I wish there was less than one star to give these scammers. This is my experience why. On Saturday, June 26 I called to have my inspection and two tires replaced. When I spoke to a representative by the name of Douglas Zuma over the phone. I explained I needed only two tires but he stated and I quote, if I purchase 4 tires he would include FREE inspection and balancing of tires for a specific set price. I was very specific, clear without any ambiguity as to what needed to be done. I gave him my vehicle model number type (make and model) and I asked what tires was he recommending? He stated the type of tires he was going to install. I went this morning, June 27th at 9am (First one there.) The counter person saw that I was in the computer, quoted me the price but stated that I had to pay for the Inspection after I was told it would be included. He stated he had to now charge me for the inspection because it was not in the system and was not listed as part of the quote provide The guy then returned again to tell me the tires that were ordered by Douglas Zuma for my vehicle were not the right ones and I now have to pay a higher price. Douglas Zuma or Zumo deliberately misled me on a last minute (bait and switch). Once at the location they change cost tire cost on you. I had taken my car to PEPBOYS yesterday and pulled my vehicle from there paid the inspection there thinking I was getting a better deal at Mavis. How disgusting! Wasted my time. I will be returning to PEPBOYS. What scam artists!

I went there at 8 am this morning to get new tires for my wifes SUV. Ive been to this store a few times before and I was satisfied, but today was different. The guy working the counter was the RUDEST person Ive ever encountered in any business. After the tires were finished the guy told me I needed an wheel alignment, he told me it was usually 89.00 but he offered a 10.00 discount. I told him ok do it. When I went to pay the guy at the counter said I owed 414.00. I mentioned the 10.00 discount he said I didnt tell you nuthin really rude. I continued to very respectfully ask for a price breakdown. He got so annoyed he spoke to me very disrespectful and I finally called him on it. I heard him speaking that way to everyone that way the entire time I was there. I paid the bill and told him I would never come back there. Im spending my hard earned money and I dont need people speaking to me that way.

Had an appointment for an inspection today at 10am. Spoke with gentleman on the phone when making appointment who said it would take an hour. I explained I would have my 3 year old with me he said it shouldn’t be an issue. Get there prior to 10am and a nasty man at the desk is like β€œyour dropping it off right? Tim and Scott were very rude to customers all morning as I sat there waiting for them to finishing working on my car. The call center quoted me 79.99 for tires and they did not honor that. New shocks and struts along with back brakes were put on my car when they were not needed. The rear brakes were never mentioned only the front. Shocks and struts were brought up as a recommendation I was quoted one price in the garage for what I wanted and then stuck with a bill triple the price I was told and work I never agreed to. I don’t usually write reviews, however I wanted to write one about my experience to counter all the negative ones on here and show how UNRELIABLE Yelp reviews are . I was a little nervous about bringing my car here for the sole reason of the 1.5 stars they have on Yelp but I was pleasantly surprised. I decided to get a set of winter tires for my β€˜19 Subaru STI and instead of ordering them myself and lugging them around, I decided to make a reservation to get the tires delivered and installed at this location . This is a feature on the website and I would strongly recommend it. I had a few questions after placing the order and the staff was able to answer all of them. The price for the tires and installation was very fair, as I would pay roughly the same amount no matter where I went. With all of my services, I drop my car off so I don’t have to wait or be stuck there. (Maybe some people should do that more often). Scott, who was at the front desk, is knowledgeable, friendly and professional . Don’t let the bad reviews fool you.

I am getting increasingly uncomfortable in the 2 hours I have spent sitting here waiting for them to do my tires. They tried to sell me multiple things and every person who has come in has had the same dude come out and tell them their vehicle needs a ton more things. I have a mechanic whom I have an appointment with on Thursday who will check over my truck completely, thats how sketchy I feel right now.... and somehow in the last month and a half since my last rotation, my wheel key was broken. I will be asking for it...Edit: Finally got my truck, and the key, and drove away. They charged me 90 bucks for an alignment but it is pulling hard to the right.... not even bothering going back....

Horrible customer service. My wife Brought her 2 year old car with 24k miles in for an inspection and they said I needed all new front brakes. We declined the service, for which they wanted to charge $479, and they failed the vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle I asked what the thickness of the pad remaining was, knowing it has to be less than 1/16, and they were unable to tell me. Asked again and the technician made up that they were metal on metal. I brought my vehicle to another shop and they said I have plenty of pad remaining and my vehicle passed. They tried to take advantage because my wife dropped it off. Customer service defended the stores actions, what a joke of a company.

To whom it may concern. I was at your location today for a very serious suspension issue. When I brought the vehicle in and walked in to the show room I was greeted immediately. I was able to explain what I thought the problem was, and then afterwords was told that they were going to bring my vehicle in as soon as possible. They had a few cars in front of me and shorthanded. Once my vehicle was in they diagnosed exactly what the problem was explained it to me thoroughly in detail. Also once the problem was located they were able to fix it. I must say that as a customer I was one appreciate it. Secondly that they were able to address the issue and rectify it in a timely manner. It was done with professionalism, and courtesy. The managers name was Scott, the shop managers name was Tim who actually worked on my vehicle and the assistant manager Robert was at the counter. I now have peace of mind knowing that the vehicle was done correct by the talented and professional staff at this location. I also explain to them that as soon as I got in that I would send an email to complement the staff there. After reading this email could you please kindly call the store and let them know that this email was sent, letting them know to keep up the great work. When people have to come to locations such as this, It’s never a good thing. Because you know you’re going to have to spend money. But they treated me like I was a superstar and I greatly appreciate that. Again by many thanks to the staff at the Patchogue Mavis discount tire’s and if anything should ever come up in the future I will be bringing my vehicle there. Took over 2.5 hrs to mount one tire and check another. I asked what is going on and didnt get an answer. The second tire I asked them to check did have a nail, but they just patched/repaired it without even asking me and then wanted to charge me $50 for the patch. I would have bought a new tire had I known, instead of blowing $50 on a patch job. Now my tire is unbalanced and I need to buy a tire to replace it. The front desk guy Robert was rude and unfriendly. I have three cars that have been serviced by Mavis of Patchogue. one car is a 2001 and the other two are 2013 and 2014. Obviously the newer cars have less issues if any but the service that was done was very good. The older car had some front end work and appears to have been done very well. Each time the experience was pleasant and professional. They have a shop floor supervisor that watches over the work being done to all the cars which is very nice to see. As far as delays are concerned Im sure they make every effort to get each customer in as fast as the work load will allow. That being said the customer has to be aware that if they show up at noon or 2:00PM for work without an appointment they may be waiting for a while. I have had much longer waits at my doctors office. Overall they portray a very organized and professional environment and Im sure would like to satisfy every customer. I will certainly be using them for my auto needs for now. Thanks for caring.

I had a front right tire in need of replacement. It was a tad low according to my dashboard display, so I pumped it up so I could get from work to Mavis. I watched the digital info on my dashboard very carefully all the way there. It feeds real time info from my tire pressure sensors to a display on my gauge cluster with info for each tire shown separately.I made it to Mavis, and within 5 minutes of my car going in they came out and said that the reason my tire indicator was always on (which it never was) was because my tire pressure sensor on the front LEFT side was missing.I asked what symptoms that would show, knowing that the missing sensor had been working just a few moments earlier. I was told my indicator light must have been on for months, and a warning would show up in my display, and since the sensor was missing that was why I had been seeing that.I said I had never seen those symptoms, relayed the fact that the sensor had just been working. They asked who touched my car last... which was Mavis, but at another location.He shrugged, repeated it was missing, and offered to replace it for well over a hundred dollars. I declined.Needless to say, my dash now shows no info from the front left tire, and a warning that there is a sensor problem.Im fairly certain that by missing they either meant they broke it while looking for stuff to sell me, or that it simply jumped off as soon as the tire came off and ran to hide in the trash. Never ever again will I go to this location. I wont use a business I cant trust.

BUY THE TIRE INSURANCE!!!! The insurance gives you free tire rotation (which costs about $30) and replaces the tire on a prorated basis, both of which is good for the life of the tire. Scott and Wilson are great guys and are always willing to help you out.

I travel from the east end of Long Island, to come to this specific Mavis in Patchogue. Scott and Rich are the best. They are always kind, and their mechanics always do a wonderful job. The service is fast and the showroom is immaculate. Im thankful to be a lifelong customer at Mavis of Patchogue. -James

Reasonably priced, decent service. I have been there a number of times for tire service, inspections, etc. I was never impressed, nor disappointed. I say this because they never in my experience tried to do anything beyond the minimal in terms of service/customer service. They also never fell short on the agreed services.

I wouldnt even give one star. I had a quick brake light change and they wanted me to wait 1 1/2 hours. I went across the street to Genes 112 and they took the car right away. The car is part of an 8 car fleet. You blew it, Mavis!

I love going to Mavis now. Finally group of mechanics I can trust and their prices are very competitive. Even though I didnt need immediate work on my car today they didnt charge me for the time spent checking my concerns. Theyrere very up front and honest about pricing and stuff. Definitely use for tired and breakes!
