The crew were nice but they forgot to reset the Maintenance required light. It was ok, no biggie. The other Valvoline station gave me instruction on how to. You can use internet on how to too.

Really great spot. If youre worried about virus, it was pretty clean. Touchless payment, they let everybody stay in their car. They do need to open the door a little bit to scan a bar code really quickly. But they were masked, and it was only for like, two seconds. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

There is something to be said about service done with a smile. This was my 1st visit. When I called to ask about their schedule and prices, I was told that I did not need an appointment, and I was offered a coupon. Also they closed way later than your average shop, at 7pm. When I arrived, there was only a 5 minute wait, and then my tires, lights, and fluids were checked, and my oil was changed within less than half an hour, and I didnt even have to get out of my car. The fellas were nice, and you could tell that they all enjoy doing their job; they talked back and forth with each other, communicating relevant vehicle information enthusiastically and professionally as they serviced each of the cars. I will definitely be returning to this location. Thank you for amazing service, Valvoline, especially after Id just had a very tiring day at work.

Oil changes are great, but, they changed my differential oil and it leaked all out and stranded me in Fontana. Had to call AAA and tow it. Hopin they help me resolve my problem.

Update February 10, 2021: I also bought new windshield wipers this day and Valvoline installed. They both fell off and I had to go to Pep Boys and buy new ones (right before a rain) and installed myself. I learned that Valvoline installed them incorrectly. Another failure.Very upset with this company today as they put their “sale” above my needs. I specifically stated that I need to Fox my headlight and I asked if they have the bulb. Isaiah said yes and then I said ok let’s do an oil change also since I’m here (early for the mileage). Only after starting the oil change, he tells me they don’t have the bulb. I specifically asked so I wouldn’t waste my time. Needless to say, I didn’t get it fixed and they offered no good answer. Very poor customer service. I’ll likely not come back to this business with my 4 vehicles!

Staff and service is great. They do a quick basic inspection of your vehicle. They test the battery, tire pressure, wiper fluid, and coolant. They also inform you if any scheduled service is due.Oil change takes about 15 min. They give you three options for the oil service youd like. Ranges from $50-70, but they usually have a 20% off coupon on their website so the price can be a bit less.

These guys are so awesome. Every time I come in, I am able to get in and started in barely no time. I dont mind spending a couple dollars more because of how little time I have to wait to get in and out.

This shop is fast and neat. You stay in your car and they change the oil as you wait. Though I use a discount coupon its on the pricey side here compared to some other shops. I usually pay about $40 for a snappy oil change.

Ive been using the location a few times and very pleased with the overall experience. Today I brought my 1989 Jeep wrangler in for an oil change. The asst manager Jimmy helped me. I asked about getting a Radiator Service and he advised they could take care of that today. I waited and they were unable to preform the service due to there equipment wasnt working properly. So they said that they would refund me the $85.00 for the Radiator service 👍 they apologized and hope that I would return for further services soon.

Went here for an oil change prior to starting a long trip. The guys were really helpful, making sure everything was working properly. Even checked tire pressure and topped off all fluids.

Fast. Professional team service but not inexpensive, even with coupons. They will try to upsell you with air filters, wiper blades, etc. But not annoying high-pressure sales tactics. It just takes a bit more time to get through the upsell questions before you are done and out of there. Much better than going to a new car dealer for an oil change.

I could have given this place a better rating, except that about a week after getting my oil changed here, I got warnng lights on my dash...the three warning light combination that all Toyota owners are familiar with. When I checked under the hood, I noticed that one of the screws that holds down the air filter cover was missing. The cover had loosened over the week since I had been to VIOC, and triggered the warning lights. If the tech had only bothered to tell me he had accidentally dropped the screw, this issue could have been avoided, as I could have replaced the screw the next day, before the cover had loosened. As it was, I not only had to replace the screw, but I had to spend two hours of my valuable time having a mechanic check the problem and reset the warning lights. Completely irresponsible on the part of this VIOC location.

I have been to a Valvoline on long beach and was AMAZED by their services, that it made me go back again to the one where i work by in Pasadena. The guy that was there seemed like he was not having a good day, the customer service was bad, and in top of that did not check anything, he did not check tire pressure liquids or anything, in the computer he put that he did all that. Compared to the other Valvoline in long Beach they asked me thoroughly and in detailed of everything they were checking on the vehicle, so that is why i know what he was doing was just being lazy. I am not even comparing them to another brand, it is within comparison of the same branch. Another thing was he did not offer anything and was quick to charge me without saying anything about the coupon that was clearly displayed on his computer. After i told him i had a $7.00 coupon he sighed like if it was coming out of his paycheck. i was going in to have 2 cars serviced but his attitude just made me do the one. This particular person really killed my experience with Valvoline. Hopefully it was helpful.

These guys are great. And lets face it, you get what you pay for. If you want to wait really long then you can go across the street and paid 5 to $10 less. But if you want to be in and out in 15 minutes, this is the place.

This review is about a very serious situation that occurred to me recently at this Valvoline location. On November 21st I went in for an oil change and battery replacement. Everything seemed fine as I left that day. Three days later, on November 24th, I got into my car to drive to Northern California for the Thanksgiving holiday and the car would not start. There was no lights, not even any sputtering to indicate the battery was even connected to the car. I called the closest mechanic shop and begged someone to take a look at the car as it was already getting pretty late in the day. When they opened my hood to look at the battery they found not that only were the bolts attaching the wiring to the car not tightened at all but the bolts connecting the battery to the car was not even on. The battery was able to shake and move around as I drove. They were able to fix it however a much more serious situation could have happened if I tried to drive 350 miles to Northern California with a battery that was shaking as I drove. Later that day, as soon as I was able I called this location to ask to speak to the manager regarding this issue. I very calmly explained the situation, honestly I mostly just wanted them aware that their employees were doing this kind of shoddy work that could lead to some very serious consequences. After I finished talking he did not seem to react in any way and simply asked “Well, what do you want me to do about this?” I was pretty shocked at this point with his response so I asked him for a partial refund. The cost of the replacement was $119.00 dollars. I did not even ask for a full refund even though I think that is reasonable after what happened, especially since I had to pay the mechanic to come look at my car and also this delayed my trip by about 2 hours. He informed me that he does not have authority to issue any refunds and would need to speak with his boss. Fine. About 20 minutes later I receive a phone call and he said “We cannot give me any refund however I can send you a coupon for a free oil change”. I’m sorry, but this is not how you run a business. You almost ruin my car and my Thanksgiving break. Why would I go back to this location and let you do anything further to my car? I told him I find this unacceptable and asked to speak to his manager. He told me that he cannot give me his manager’s number but he would have him call me. This was on November 24th and it is now December 3rd and I have not heard back from anyone. I hope that this review is helpful to any future customers.
