If every technician isn’t going to do a great job then they shouldn’t be charging full price to practice/train on me!. My nail should not be lumpy and bulky looking after a gel pedi. My nails should look sloppy like this! Came here because I seen four stars when googling them in the area. But I honestly think that must be the guy in the 1st seat reviews. First and last time here!!!!

I tried Hana nails again after years of not coming here. Sad to say it will b yrs again be4 i come back. Even though Jenny did a great pedicure my toe polish wasnt good. And Ken. Just rude.

I recently decided to start taking better care of my hands and feet and needed to find a salon near me that balanced affordability with service. I wasn’t sure where to start so I selected this salon for it’s good reviews. I called ahead to be sure they had time for me and was lifelessly told to come in. That should have tipped me off to call somewhere else.I went in anyway and waited. I waited despite calling ahead. Okay, no biggie. I had things to read, so I selected my color (of which there were many, so points there!) and sat down to read. When I was finally called up, the manicurist was so busy answering the phone, checking the security monitor, and finding any reason to get up and walk away that what ultimately only took 15 minutes of hands on time more than doubled into a 40 minute ordeal. The manicure itself was substandard and my nails look fine, not great or even good.Overall, I felt I didn’t receive the service I paid for and was generally made to feel like an inconvenience. I think similar negative reviews were based on this same guy, which is a shame for all the other technicians working at this salon. Unfortunately, there are way too many other options in the area to put up with this and I won’t be back.

So disappointed, a friend said to go here and instead of an incredible experience I felt like I was just a number. The man who apparently is the owner did my nails, and instead of focusing on me he was distracted more with cameras and giving employees there a hard time as they were working so hard. Cut me while filing and then the water turned the feet blue, but instead of helping to get it off, I left with blue feet! I could go on and on about the terrible customer service and experience but I am sure they are some good people that work there I just happen to get the dud.

Love this place. Jenny and Theresa are the best. They always do a great job and are very personable. My only concern and disappointment is that it doesn’t matter if you make an appointment. Had appointment at noon. Had to soak feet for 45 minutes. I feltbad for Theresa because now she is rushed, and I feel as though I’m not getting the time I reserved. I was then running late on the rest of my day. I purposely made appointment for time and specific person. This appointment was made in advance to avoid waiting and I no longer live in the area. 😢

I have been coming to this salon since they opened and have nothing but positive comments! They are always so welcoming and friendly. Their work is great. The salon is decorated well! My nails always get compliments every time I leave. Highly recommended!

It was horrible. Everything was rushed. They said they had time but customers just kept coming in and they were taking them. The man was constantly jumping up and down to go help other customers. Nail was not fully covered, there was still dead skin sticking around the nail. The gel fell right off of one toe no later than 5 minutes after leaving. Very disappointed and will not be returning nor will I recommend this place.

I went for the first time on Friday for a full set french tip manicure and I was very unhappy. The guy that did my nails insisted on me to get gel nails and I told him no several times. It was all down hill after that. He cut me several times, was very rough, my nails turned out crooked and have specks in the acrylic, he did not drill the acrylic that is now stuck under my nails, when I asked for two colors for my design he told me he could only do one color, then when it was time to pay I handed him my card and he made it seem like they do not accept card he kept telling me to get cash out of their ATM which is an additional fee. I will NOT be going back. I was very disappointed.

My daughter n myself went in for full service, waxing, pedis, full set and a dip.😊 Everything turned out beautiful and not once did I ask them to do anything different than what they were already doing or to fix something . They were very professional and on point which is rare, normally when I go to a salon Im picking apart what theyre doing and I did not have to do that with them at all. My daughter and myself are extremely happy with our results Jenny did everything for me and my daughter had another younger girl who did amazing with everything, nails toes and waxing thank you Hana nails we will be back.! :)

This was my first time in this salon. It was extremely clean, no smell. Bags in the pedicure bowl, instruments in individual sterilized packages. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaged with me during my entire visit. I live out of the area, but will travel to come back to have my nails done. Had a pedicure and my nails dipped! They both look gorgeous!! Thank you, all!! ❤️

I really liked the atmosphere. It was clean and relaxing as it wasnt super bright inside. Used packaged tools vs already used ones. Was happy with the results of my fullest SNS manicure.

Jenny was a dream! Came in with a botched acrylic set that caused one of my real nails to break and she fixed me right up. Explained what was wrong with the first set. Gave me a beautiful new color and shape. Will definitely be making this my go to place from now on they definitely know how to make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

I really like Hana Nails. I have been coming there since they first opened. However its really annoying to me that the last few times I have came there you are harassed to pay in cash. I then have to pay a fee at their ATM so they can avoid paying a processing fee. Just annoying. I dont know too many people who carry cash these days. Get with the times.

So I went to get a pedicure and a full set and my pedicure was amazing it was so nice and relaxing I would definitely get another pedicure done there its lasted for almost two weeks and my nail polish has not faded chip or anything BUT....HOWEVER I WILL NOT be getting a full set from there again bc I paid $75 total for both i asked for acrylic and at first it looked amazing but then my nails started just popping off one by one and i paid $40 for a full set and wanted to charge me $5 to remove my cuticles and it was not done right bc Im a cosmologist I hate doing nails myself bc its hard doing my right hand but I do not recommend anyone get a full set done bc they didnt even last a week

Enjoyed my time at Hana Nail and spa. I got a Basic pedicure with a design and eyebrow waxing. The staff was friendly and the foot and leg massage was wonderful and relaxing will definitely make this my new go to for nail care.

I just got my nails done by Lam and immediately had to make a review. He did such a good job I am so happy. He took his time and made sure the shape of the nails looked good and thats super important! if you come here ask for Lam!

My husband and I both get pedicures. At our age, bending down isnt an option. We have visited a few nail salons in Pasadena, but once we found Hana Nail & Spa, they are the only place for us. The staff are welcoming, the owner makes sure everyone is happy with the service, and the decorations are beautiful.

I went to this place for the first time. I wanted to try the dip powder manicure. From the description it is supposed to feel more natural and you dont need to use the UV light like you do for the gel polish. However, I was very disappointed with my manicure. I dont like how thick acrylic nails are, so I asked the woman at the spa and she told me that the powder would be thin. My nails are so thick and uncomfortable they actually hurt. They look so fake. I waited a day to give this review to see if they felt better. They are still uncomfortable. I am so displeased and I will not be going back. Also, they still used the UV light to dry the clear coat. I asked when I realized what she was doing, she said is it a problem? I told her I guess its too late since she was already finished a hand. It was funny because there was a poster behind her advertising the natural feel of the powder and the benefit of not having to use the UV light. I had to work today, but I want to go back and have them removed. I really am disappointed with the false advertisement from the spa and the women that work there. My nails look incredibly fake and worse they feel absolutely horrible and very uncomfortable bordering on painful. I will not be going back.

I just moved to the area and I needed a new nail shop. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by Ken, who also did an awesome job on my nails! I’ve used many many nail shops over the years & this one turned out to be the bomb.com. I also noticed the other technicians offering very friendly customer service. Thanks Ken! I will be back!

This place is probably the nicest nail salon in Pasadena. Yes, you may pay $5 more for a manicure/fill but it is worth it. They have the best pedicure massage chairs, offer you water or a soda, dont have any noise besides a fountain and soft spa music, and generally just feels upgraded compared to the older nail salons in the area (I have been to them all). The management has recently changed hands but I see no difference in their service and have continued to go there. This is truly a place you can go to relax and leave with beautiful nails and soft feet!

Paul was nice and gave my mom a first time customer discount. She enjoyed her pedicure but her heels were sore for a couple of days. Waxing was good but I find the prices cheaper at Serenity Nails so I go there instead. I wish they had more competitive pricing.

It can be difficult at times to find a nail spa that listens, understand your needs for your nails and follow through with it. For me, Hana Nail Spa in Pasadena did just that. They did a great job on my nails and I will be going back here to get my nails done.Thank you!

I moved to the area in January, and have been salon hopping to find a nice spot. This is by far the nicest salon in Pasadena. Everyone was friendly, the salon was very clean, my nail tech did an amazing job! The prices were very fair. I will certainly be coming back.

I visited this salon on Friday for the first time, very clean and friendly. However, I dont like paying for a service that is not delivered, the tech apologized to me several times. I spent over a 100.00 for serval services including dip/powered manicure that was completed with UV light......dip manicure done the correct way does not include drills or UV light. I will not return, and 2 nails have cracked already.

Went there today for a pedicure. The guy that did my feet cut me. Bad enough that the entire time he was trying to get it to stop bleeding. Not a relaxing time at all. A very short I’m sorry. Honestly I don’t think I should have had to pay but he certainly didn’t offer that as an option. I have my feet done every few weeks and this was my first time there. Will not be back.

Holy moly. I called yesterday to get an appointment for a full set. They were busy. But didn’t want to turn me away.When I got there, my name wasn’t on the list, and I had limited time. One of the customers referred me down the road to a previous Hana employee (formally chair no. 7) she was not busy and was willing to take me as a walk in. So I went.TERRIBLE DECISION!I will show you in the pictures, however 2 hours and $60 later...my nails were awful and dirty! I even had her fix 2 of the nails.Today I was encouraged to try Hana again.I called, told them what happened and they got me in.Jenny was hands down understanding and was not all trying to give me another bad experience. Ever her AND her husbands clients that were next to me and saw my previous nails didn’t mind me being squeezed in for a fix. They told me I was in good hands!Jenny did not feel comfortable taking my nails off as they freaking hurt, so she smoothed them, properly shaped them and painted them perfectly.It’s not easy to fix another persons mess. But she did it with grace!Thank you, so much! After 10 years of not getting my nails done, you turned my lemons to lemonade 😍💅🏽😘

This is the best nail salon in pasadena. Jenny does a better than fantastic job on a pedicure. I can only speak on a pedicure since I never get a manicure. But I am sure the results would be the same. She takes her time and my toes have never looked better. The business itself is very nice, up to date and clean. I wont be going anyplace else.

I’ve been to Hana twice and I have to leave a review. This might be lengthy, but hopefully helpful to someone!! Last week I got to the salon at close and really needed my eyebrows done. They were more than accommodating and also asked if I wanted a pedicure!! So kind of them for taking me last minute, after close, and making me feel so welcome. Though I turned down the pedicure, they a did a fantastic job with my eyebrows! Like most women, I’m picky about my brows and hesitant at trying anywhere new. Let’s just say I will be seeing them again in the future for my brows. Today I got a mani/pedi, midday, on a weekend. I got one of the more expensive pedicures and Ana, my nail technician, was diligent and focused even as customers were coming in and out. I never felt rushed and she spent extra time on my pedicure. She was sweet, took great care in her work, and clearly knew what she was doing. The entire atmosphere was clean and welcoming. It is organized, well run, and there was never someone waiting more than a few minutes. Always someone to welcome new customers and get them set up with what they needed.I’m also not a big talker when getting my nails done and I said a total of three sentences the entire time I was in there, but clearly had a wonderful experience.

They were terrible. They were really rude and did a bad job on preparing the nails. They also don’t know what some of their nail options are. The nail lady was named Jade. The other nail techs may be better but my first and only experience was not pleasant.

They have a loyalty rewards program which I think is the best idea ever! Its not the most modern, but the quality of work combined with the rewards program means they have a new customer in me. I appreciated that the nail tech took their time with both my mani and pedi to make sure it was right and I was satisfied. They also have the powder dip polish. If you havent tried that, its a must!

Best full set Ive ever had. I just scheduled my fill appt for this afternoon. At other salons, Ive never had my nails last long enough to get a fill. Jenny is amazing! She listened to my preferences and delivered quality service. Other salons have damaged my natural nails when avoidable, but I did not experience that at Hana. The entire team is friendly and focused on customer service. Clean, comfortable spa with fair pricing. High ly recommend, especially if youre tough on your artificial nails and need nails that will last.

The quality depends on who you get. The first time I went I was really happy. Today I went for a SNS fill and Kim was my tech, she rushed, cut my hands all up, and really made me want to not come back. I have a feeling not all the techs are like her.

Terrible service. Made an appointment in advance for mani, pedi, and eyebrows. When I got there I had to wait 30 minutes with my feet soaked for someone to assist me. Then the technicians were arguing over whose turn it was to assit. I did my eyebrows and they didnt even wear gloves, the service was rushed, and now one eyebrow looks uneven. I still even have wax on my face. Not returning.

First time.. I went in for a (French tip)Pedi and full set(French tip)... the Pedi was really nice I must say. But after that was over things changed. I did feel extremely rushed and the guy doing my full set left like 3 times to attend other customers. I didnt mind as long as he did my nails right. But after all was done and Im sitting in the car with bright light I saw so many flaws with my nails, I didnt even get to wash my hands before he began to apply the acrylic so now I have small particles of debris and dents in my nails. Total cost= $85
