As a busy mom, this place is always efficient, professional and they do great work! I always am able to get helped with little to no wait time as they have many available people to get you started no matter the day! I keep going back! Note: I am a simple nail gal. I have not tried any fancy designs but have seen others get their nails fancied up very nice.

I just want to brag on the quality of their shellac.I’ve had those for more than 2 weeks already and I clean, cook, everything... still intact !I’ve been to this place for 5 years. I love them.

At first I was pleased with the outcome of the nail appearance at first glance till I seen how uneven and chunky some fingers were. Nails became uncomfortable and when it was time to remove (I went to a different salon) it took over an hour for my nails to soak off and we came to the realization that this location uses mma acrylic which is ILLEGAL TO USE! Don’t come here very unsafe for health.

While I had to wait for a technician, I was in no hurry and my phone provided enough entertainment; also, I was a walk in. Highly recommend making appointments if you have errands to run or a schedule to keep. Ive been here many times and Ive only been disappointed once in 3 years. Theyre always patient and answer any questions you may have. This is by far my favorite color and I recommend it for anyone looking for a natural/neutral look.

I went in this morning to get a new set of nails but I wanted dip, so I needed tips put on. They charged me 50.00, so I asked why so high and she said they charge extra for the tips. 40 for dip and 10 for tips. I was like WHAT!! IF I would of said a full set with gel, would they of charged me for the tips also. I dont get that. So I asked the man so you all charge for tips?? He asked her something, and he comes back and say. Yes we charge 45 for dip and 5 for tips. Totally different than what she had told me before. So I guess they make up their own pricing. I wont go back because they lie about their pricing.

I originally had my nails done for my wedding at another my nail salon that I always go to but the lady who usually does my nails always does french tip.. what I wanted was white and natural pink ombré.. and I HATED the way they turned out. I had never been at Design Nail & Spa but I had heard good thing from them from friends when I went in I told them exactly what I wanted! The lady who I had her name was Q super patient with me and understanding and outgoing! she took her time on me and I appreciated that more then anything! by the time she was done with my nails I was in LOVE with my nails!!

They give me fantastic quality nail sets everytime! Super friendly staff and clean environment. Definitely a favorite for my mom and I. ❤

Loved my nails, plus They have many designs to pick from. And my nails look really good they were very professional it does get packedPlus were very patient and gentle with my 7 year old.

Buddy convinced me to get my feet done. He said they looked like something from fantastic 4. Very good service at a good rate.

My first experience here was nice. Yesterday my husband and I both returned. Neither of us were offered anything to drink before the pedicures started, he was not greeted by the technician before she started his service. The massage chair wasnt started for neither of us.. his massage service wasnt done as mine was mind you we paid for the same exact service. This place has no dryer to dry your feet they send you out the door in their spa shoes... for the amt we paid for services we will not patronize a business that doesnt treat us as they did others around us.

I been here once before and it was pretty standard on everything but they do keep it very very toasty in there like please keep in mind our feet are soaking in hot water and we keep our mask on so our faces are warm like please be generous with the AC

The staff are nice but I’ve had a second nail break and only had them 3 days now. I usually go somewhere else but wanted to try this one since they were closer. The other salon I usually have the nails for well over a month and only go back for refills. I hope something can be done and then I’ll give 5 stars

Customer service was amazing I got there at 7:30 PM and the shop closes at 8:00 PM but they let me come in and get a manicure, pedicure and eyebrows done they really took care of me.

Not very often do I spoil myself with getting my nails done but I had someone recommend this place because they did a very good job on her nails. Walking in I thought it was gonna be great but instead I got almond shaped nails when I asked for stiletto after I showed her pictures of the shape so she could get the idea because she didn’t understand how to get them to a point I probably should’ve left there but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and not only did she cut all my fingers on one hand the polish doesn’t even cover all the tips of the nails definitely will not be returning

This is my new favorite nail salon. I’ve been coming here consistently for the past two months and the technicians are so sweet, professional, attentive, and talented and I’ve never had to wait to be seated. Also, their neck/shoulder massages are to die for! Their hands have worked serious magic on me and I always leave feeling beautiful, pampered, and relaxed.

This place has so many options of colors for fullset and its so affordable! I always come back here and I have tried other places and I always come back to this spot. It looks nice inside and they have nice equiment and play good music. And they are opened till 8! Which is more awesome . Whenever I came to Designs Nails & Spa, my nails and skin always came out wonderful. Moreover, the staffs were delight to work with, and they really listened, and did an amazing work. Besides, they are so friendly and perfectly professional, not at all gossipy like you find in many other salons. Therefore, I will come back this place.

It was okay. Went in for pedicure. Incredibly uncomfortable chairs. And the pedicurist held my leg at weird angles. Ive never come out of a pedicure less relaxed than I went in. The polish quality was okay. The experience wasnt.

They do a decent job, and the employees are very friendly. 3 items I didnt like. For Shellac its 20 more on any service, whereas other places its 10-15. A 40 min pedi took an hour. And you have to have cash to tip, totally will not return just for this last reason.

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. My experience today was definitely not acceptable. I walk in around 1:00 pm and they are not even 10 customers in the building. I am asked to have a seat and wait which isnt a problem but not even 5 minutes later they are bringing to my chair for my pedicure. The guy who is there turns the water on and its barely warm and I ask for it to be hotter to which he barely turns it up. No big deal I can deal with it. He then walks away from me and I am left sitting there. I play on my phone a little and I realize this man who turned my water on is just walking around every where and looking at other peoples work and doing everything he can to avoid coming to me. I sat for 10 + minutes (long enough for my water in the tub to go cold) with no one saying anything to me or approaching me. I eventually call him over and ask if anyone is going to help me and he just goes uhhhh and starts looking around and he goes over to another nail lady and looks to see if she is almost done Im assuming and he comes and says uh maybe 5 minutes and I said no thank you, You can go ahead and give me a towel. He hands it over and just walks away again without saying anything. Im not one to handle situations this way but the fact that I was just left there without being told I was going to be waiting even longer is unacceptable. I highly do not recommend this place.

Services was ok and my nails look great! Im very impressed with the outcome. It was a bit pricey but compared to prices now a days I guess it was normal. Many of the other reviews mentioned a male manager who was unprofessional but when I went there appeared to be a woman manager who didnt talk much. I am happy to say I will be back!

The people here are amazing!! I have never been disappointed when coming here. You get the feeling like they are all family and they really make me feel like part of the family too. I highly recommend! All the old reviews where they talk about bad management etc is before the current owner took over. Steven knows how to run his business and you wont be disappointed.

I went in for a manicure, an to say it was simple is an understatement. A bowl of lukewarm water, nothing extra. 30 second “massage” on each hand. Then the polish itself was horrible. It was uneven, so the shade was inconsistent. When she finished I asked for the lights to dry them... “We don’t have any.”

Love my nails, I cant remember his name but he has done them before and also did wonderful but this recent visit I came in with previous nails on, he decided to take them off with nail clippers and hurt one of my nail beds causing it to bleed and have pain. For the other hand he used a solution that dissolved it which was alot better, I was in pain with my thumb the whole time and not once did they offer a discount so i was a little disappointed but other then that great work

The smell from the chemicals they use....They should give out oxygen masks when you go in there.Life expectancy cant be too long for the workers who inhale it all shift long.

Wow. I have been traveling to Houston do work, and I saw a chick with really nice nails. She recommended it to me, so I gave this place two chances. The first time, my nails started lifting 8 days after the appointment. I figured maybe I was rough. By week two, All the nails were lifted and I was able to peel them off. The second time, I was asked by the girl at the counter if I even had enough money to pay for my nails to get done... which was funny because I had to tell her 3 times what I wanted, insinuating that she didn’t speak English well enough to even comprehend what I was truly requesting of her. The nail tech rushed me to make a decision in a completely empty shop (Tuesday morning). He told me he was going to give me dip nails but instead just laid a thin layer of acrylic on top of my nails. It’s THURSDAY and my nails are already lifting. Unacceptable. If you’re going to incinuate I’m too impoverished to pay for your services then maybe your services should be above poverty levels. I’m from DC, I can get a cheap full set for 20$ that lasts a full two weeks, but instead I go to a licensed nail tech who does nails out of her home that last 3-4 weeks at 70$ a set. SO glad I won’t be traveling here or patronizing this place again. Poor attitudes, poor service, poor delivery.Update: One week from when I got my nails done and one just popped off and 5 are lifting.

Got the $45 pedicure, felt amazing and came with a shoulder massage. I come here every month or every other month now.

The guy at the front (owner I think?) is not welcoming at all. It was crowded, they were full and it was a Saturday, so I expected that. As I walked in he looked at me and didn’t speak to me and acted as if he had enough business and didn’t need mine. So I left. As I walked out and walked past him, he just glared at me again. I won’t be back.

I would give 5 stars if my nail artist opened the place. The owners son is what makes me not want to go back. I really like my nail tech mike he always keeps great conversations and does great work but the management sucks. Ive been a client for a couple of years now and idk if I can put up with the owners son anymore. Wish the parents would just run it.

They may do great work, but they have a hard time treating their customers with respect. Sorry that you feel the need to insult your customers, if they are a little overweight or have a younger child with them and you believe them to be old. I am extremely disappointed in their behavior and I will deter anyone and everyone I know from coming here. There are plenty of other places that do equal quality work without the attitude.

$45 on set of Shellac nails kept chipping went back for the fourth time today to have aanail repainted (Tipped an additional $5 each time I had it repainted so now its a $60 set of nails) sat there for 20 minutes today, they l took 3 other women who walked in after me and didnt paint my nail. When I asked if I could do mine they said Id have to continue to wait.. Worst nail place EVER..save your money..go elsewhere to professionals!!!!

The service at Designs Nails & Spa is horrible. I went in for a pedicure and the Nail Tech continuously stabbed me with the cuticle cutter and metal cuticle pusher. She also did not put a top coat on my nails. When I requested a top coat she lied a said that she had already put it on my nails. They also do not have dryers. I do not recommend Designs Nails & Spa and I will never go back.

Been coming to this salon for years! I moved away and missed my salon! But now Im back and one of my top priorities was my Mani and pedi!! They always treat you well, very hospitable. You can bring the kids and let them play at GameStop nextdoor while you relax and have a drink.
