This is LONG overdue. I was here for quite the transformation. I felt welcomed as soon as I came in and my stylist, Em made me feel very comfortable.She gave me a haircut that turned out better than I imagined!! She would check in with me in regards to length and ask for my thoughts. She was AMAZING!!! I’ll be coming back for any trims or other “transformations” that may occur to me . I had a lot going on and coming here was not only symbolic but like other things, a new beginning. I found a new place I’m very happy with!

I made an appointment with Ross a week ago but they cancelled my appointment. She told me that before I dye my hair, I need to do color consultation with a stylist beforehand. So I asked her if I can do it on the same day And told the girl who answered the phone that I had been waiting for this appointment for a week. She told me that the hair stylist doesnt have time. I am very confused about their service. I checked my email. I did not receive any cancellation emails. I received a confirmation appointment email that I have an appointment with Ross from 2:30 pm to 5:42pm, but she told me that if you want to dye your hair on the same day, you can find someone else.So I canceled the appointment with this hair salon.If you take an appointment for the first time like me. Please call them first to make sure everything goes well. If not you would be so confused about their services.

I got my hair cut by Ross and had a great experience! I had a pretty vague description of how I wanted my haircut and he immediately knew just what to do for me. He was very friendly and was really easy to talk to and I ended up with a great haircut that is intended to look good as it grows out too. Highly recommend!

Bishops is great if you want a really good cut for a good price. Everyone there knows what they are doing, are extremely welcoming and friendly, and listen attentively to what you want and nail it. I wanted a short scene style cut, and Leigh got it perfect! Totally worth going here!

I accidentally booked the cut first and the color second, apparently you should do it the other way around (tip for color newbies like me). Emily did my cut and Ross did my highlights. They were both fantastic about asking how I normally care for and style my hair and tailoring to my low maintenance lifestyle. They were also both super friendly and made me look fantastic!

Had a few great experiences. Had a few lackluster ones. I can never seem to get the some stylist for some reason. 50% chance that my hair comes out amazing, 50% chance they mess up trimming a top knot. Staff is friendly. Location is kept clean.

My 16-year old wanted long hair (post-Covid) cut into a specific pixie style. Em was excellent at listening, observing the body language, and tailoring the cut to match my childs face shape AND expectations. Such a big transformation is nerve-wracking at best, but Em had just the right chair-side manner. It was a great experience and we will be back!

Everyone at Bishop Hair salon was amazing. I got my haircut by Emily first. She did a fantastic job cutting off my dead heavily bleached hair. Her cut left my hair feeling very healthy and she worked the layers exceptionally well. I then got my color by Heather who took her time to put together my jumbled idea of what I was going for. Her understanding of color was amazing. I loved my balayage walking out of the salon, but once I was in the sunlight the complexity of the color was outstanding. 10/10 would recommend.

Bishops is great, Ive never had a bad experience here. Ive had both cuts and color done here and it always turns out great. The stylists know what theyre doing, offer suggestions, and always do a great job. Its extremely affordable, and I love that you can book online.

I received an email stating they were back open so I made an appointment, but it turns out the city wouldnt let them open like was planned. I received a text the very night I made the appointment telling me the city put the ax on the reopen, so I appreciate the professionalism is reaching me immediately so I didnt base my day around an appointment that was not to be. Once the city lets the back open Ill be there!

Great environment with great staff. The biggest plus to this shop is how safe they are with sanitizing. It was my first time and definitely not my last. I got a short cut with Nevin and he took his time with cutting my hair and explaining what he suggest we let my hair do. It wasn’t just a haircut it was an experience and a true styling service.

Nevin was great! We had great conversation and he gave me great tips for keeping my long hair healthy. I look forward to returning to bishops over and over again!

I have had my hair done by Heather and Nevin and both were very thorough during the consult in explaining reasons for prices and walking through the day in general. I have very thick dark hair so the bleaching was very tedious but they have both done great jobs and made sure I left happy with how my hair looked. if there was a reason we couldnt get my hair where I had wanted it was because they didnt want to damage my hair, and they then helped me think up an alternative creative color plan for my hair!

Set up an appointment with Nick for a short cut.He did a great job.My hair was pretty long and curly. He gave me probably the best haircut Ive ever had. I will definitely be a returning customer. Ive found my new barber. Plus he helped me with my wonky eye brows.

I have short dreads and went in to have them cleaned up a bit and Heather did an excellent job at it. Ill definitely go back and recomend.April 1 2021 I saw Nevin to trim up my dreads and beard, he did excellent work and was very friendly. Definitely recommend bishops.

I have always gone to a Supercuts or fantastic Sams to get my haircut and it’s always been just all right. This was my first time at Bishops Pasadena and I was so impressed from my first step in to my last step out. The vibe and ambiance was really refreshing. Super open space with beautiful murals and a great playlist.Emily was my stylist. She made me feel comfortable and safe. It was super easy to talk with her and she made me forget about wearing a mask and the pandemic. Bonus; my haircut came out amazing! That’s been hard to say for any previous haircut since my curly thick hair tends to be a challenge to cut.Thank you Emily and Bishops for a great experience and cut. I hope you continue to stay open.

Heather is a super fun, high energy rainbow of a hair stylist. A pure joy. The rest of the staff is super fun and friendly too.I used to go to Bishops when I lived in Portland. I was excited when I saw that not only are they in LA but even better, Pasadena when I live. This is my main spot now.

Heather does a fantastic job! She found the perfect color for my hair and always gives fantastic service and conversation every time I’ve been there. Honestly, I’ve had a better experience here over even the most expensive salon in Pasadena, and the place has a much more relaxed and younger vibe. Between that and the prices, this is my go-to salon!

Heather is Awesome! She is fabulous with color and cut. I first went to her to have my hair colored and cut for my daughters wedding. Only thing I knew about her is that she had fabulous pink hair (and other colors:-) At the wedding everyone was giving me compliments about my hair (blond highlights and great cut) Ive been going to Heather ever since. She totally understands what I like. Bishops is a great shop. Everyone there could not be more friendly and professional.

Go for a basic cut otherwise designs are an extra $25. It took 2 hours and it didnt include shampoo or hot towel service. Friendly stylist but just way overpriced.

Great staff! Great attention to detail! Great prices!! I have spent $70+ on haircuts and have not had the attention to detail like I had here. The staff is very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about what hair products do and which are the best for your lifestyle and hair. All around the best hair cut place I have been to! No need for Beverly Hills or even posh organic salons when you get great music, people, service and even ambiance. Everyone should check out Bishops!

I started coming to this new establishment right after it opened the doors. The staff is extremely welcoming and make you feel like you are in the right place from jump. They have beer or water while you are there (free of charge). The best part though are the consistently ultra knowledgeable Stylists. I have been 3 times now and although I could chose the same wonderful Stylist I had previously, I choose to go with another to see what specific talents they may bring to the salon. I will be trying every Stylists in the months to come. In summation I most definitely recommend visiting this new business that is on the up and up.

Im used to 5 minute hair-cuts at my other place so this one took a bit longer (-40min) but the hair cut is outstanding and the price fair for the quality service (if he had done the same cut in 25min I wouldve ranked it 5 star instead of 4)

Every single time I go, I am not let down with the cut, the color, or the service. Even though I make my appointments strictly with Melanie because weve been working together for a few sessions already, the guest service offered by every staff member in the establishment is beyond phenomenal, and I never feel unwelcome or unattended to. I took my daughter for the first time. This place is very cool and clean. We were welcome by very nice people. Heather treated my daughter respectfully and was very gentle and kept asking her how she was doing when cutting her hair. Heather wasnt distracted and was really concentrated. Out of all the hair salons we ever been to, this was my daughters favorite, out of all the hairstyles she had she never felt more proud to show her hairstyle. This place is so cool, and the cut and color I got was fantastic. I usually dread getting haircuts, but I actually cant wait to come back here! Nevin did an awesome job with my hair (going from brown to an ashy blonde) and honestly the whole staff is just cool and funny and it was a great couple of hours. Highly recommend!
