A historic theatre formerly home to many international artists from the operatic and classical world. Still considered at the West Coast Carnegie Hall.

Pasadena Symphony: Vivaldi four seasons w/ Simone Porter was monumental. Great venue, excellent acoustics. Sound was great. Auditorium is luxurious enough for a simple guy like myself

An amazing venue!

As a native of Pasadena, CA, it came as a surprise to me that my recent visit to the Ambassador Auditorium was my first, and I never had the opportunity to visit sooner.The auditorium is gorgeous, it looks like a miniature Dorthy Chandler Pavilion with a large beautiful chandelier in the foyer. The seats are velvet, plush and comfortable, and the acoustics are wonderful. The building is beautiful.We attended a Colburn concert and were we amazed when we listened to Bruckners Symphony No. 4. The piece was so energetic and the musicians executed an outstanding performance. To really appreciate the depth and intricacy of this piece I am so glad I got to see the orchestra live. I would attend a concert and listen to this particular Symphony all over again if I could, it was that good and engaging to listen to and watch the performance!I will keep my eyes out for more Ambassador events since I am in Pasadena quite a bit and this location is convenient for me.There are many options for parking in adjacent lots. We parked at the high school lot just in front of the building since it was a weekend.

The ambassador auditorium holds the Pasadena distinguished speaker series. These are lots of fun and expand your horizons.

The Dorothy Chandler Pavilions little sister. Acoustics no better nor worse than you would expect in a venue of its type and vintage but comfortable seating in a functionally designed space resplendent with mid-century concert hall flair. Parking is a problem.

One of the few remaining places in the San Gabriel Valley where a majority of the men wear jacket and tie. Great acoustics. Ms. Kern playing Tchaikovsky was a delightful Valentins Day gift.

Beautiful, publicly used space that is wonderfully maintained. I love the fountains and large water features out front. There was also tjis majestic feeling once you enter the inside. Must be the tall floor to ceiling windows and the ceiling height. Or the colors. Not too elegant with stone but a gentle majesty.

Nice hidden jem in Pasadena, excellent sound and architecture create a beautiful space for enjoying live music.

Ambassador Auditorium is a stunning location an a jewel among jewels in beautiful Pasadena. The venue boasts a large stage that hosted a full orchestra and 100 choral performers. The venue felt grand, yet intimate.

I love attending music concerts and events at the Ambassador Auditorium. Almost every seat is a good seat.If you have small children, it is best to sit upstairs for the end of year holiday performances. The upstairs area is much more child-friendly and the patrons are more tolerant of chatter.

The sound in the auditorium is great. Performances have all been enjoyable. On one Saturday matinee, a high school event was going on, so parking was busy and near full. At the end, normal parkers were made to wait for several valet-parked cars. There was a big tent offering drinks and a few food items for sale. A little pricy, but not too much. An assortment of cheeses was very good, but needed more crackers. A beautiful setting for fine music.

This is a beautiful auditorium. Used to attend LA Chamber Orchestra led by Girard Schwartz conducting. Saw Maurice Andre there as well as Andre Segovia. Classic!

A really nice and historical venue

A beautiful auditorium surrounded by palm trees, a swan fountain and other spectacular trees. Magnificent audio for concerts or plays.

Its a beautiful auditorium with terrific acoustics. They do seem to have trouble controlling the a/c temperature.

Beautifully kept and the stage is large, I always enjoy shows and performing on this auditorium

I volunteered at a conference and am a member of the church here. The facility is amazing and the people who run it are experts.

Wonderful acoustics, highly recommend listening to concerts in this beautiful venue.
