We’ve been here for a few months and it’s been incredible. The move in process was easy and quick, Sam at the front office has been beyond amazing! All the employees are super friendly! I’m a little problem child with the maintenance man 😂 A month after we moved in we accidentally left the gas stove on.. a neighbor called and the maintenance man was here and airing everything out before the fireman had the chance to arrive! My daughter also accidentally locked us out on a Sunday and we were let in within 10 minutes!! I was cooking a casserole and the breaker flipped for some weird reason anyway the maintenance man was here so quick I didn’t need to re-preheat the oven 😂😂😂 that dude is on point! Also I’m on the first floor and I honestly forget I have neighbors. It’s so quiet and every neighbor pretty much keeps to themselves and everyone’s friendly. So far it’s been wonderful living here.
I have been here since April 2018, and the people who live here are great. The maintenance and leasing office workers are nice, however, are slow to repair or do things. My apartment has mold growing from the windows and nobody else is having this issue. They told US to just wipe it and thats it. Not even offering to switch apartments.
Nice place very friendly environment and the property was very well up kept. Christina Maddox was extremely polite, informative, and very helpful. She made sure all my needs were tended to and made my experience delightful.
Destiny was very helpfull and profesional
Update: After 1 month of living in this community.- At this point, I give this place 3 stars because of my moving in experience and still needing to have things fixed and cleaned from the date I moved in.Basically, 9/24- In the morning (around 9 am) I completed the move-in check list that did include a some things that should have been cleaned, fixed or just noted. I briefly spoke to the office manager and she advised the items would be taken care of immediately. I returned later that night to see if the work was completed. I saw a work order stating bugs were removed (but they were not,) kitchen molding (done) fixed and cleaned vent (done.) Nothing else.Since I was staying at a hotel, relocating from a different state, I emailed and spoke with the office manager and stated I will give them 2 days since Im moving in with a dog AND just started a job and would not be available to stick around during business hours while they fixed the items on the list. (Maintenance does not enter any apartment that has a dog.)9/26 I returned 2 days later to find nothing was done after the initial work order that was partially completed. I spoke with the Assistant Office manager and explained what happened. She doubted that what I had stated was on my list. She checked the list and apologized. I asked if they could complete the fixing and cleaning on the weekend. Of course! Maintenance does not work on the weekend. Working in the medical field I work generally from 7 - 6 or later. So, here I am, a month later, will broken closet doors, vents that are not properly placed, and a dirty shower. Ive been using the 2nd bedrooms shower. The dirt on the textures showers floor, walls and doors is stuck on.Some items included were:Fixing the closet doorsReplace the ill-fitting vent above the stove (see pictures)Dirt in the FridgeDirt in the microwaveClean the Master Shower (see pictures)Bugs (small and large) in the window areasSmall spots on the rug and one large spotFloor molding in kitchen (repaired)Dust and socks left behind the washer and dryerNothing has been offered to fix this matter. I would hire someone to clean the bathroom, but why should I have to pay for that when it shouldve been cleaned beforehand? I did clean some areas on my list. For a luxury apartment complex, I expect more upon signing a lease.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++This review is based solely off of my move in process. Both, the property manager and assistant manager were very easy to work with and pretty knowledgable about the property.Pros-Quiet place.Dog Park.Elevators. (wheelchair access)Decent size.Daily trash pick up @ your door Sun- ThurCons-PARKINGI have not been unable to move my things in because there is NO PLACE to park. Its seem irresponsible to build and apartment complex/building an not have enough parking to accommodate AT LEAST 1 car per apartment. However, a garage is available for rent for at least $99. This guarantees you 2 spaces- 1 space in the garage and the other directly in front of the garage.Parking is pretty important. I mean after woking all day and coming home... The last thing you want to do is park down the hill from your apartment. Especially during the winter months.
Not the worse place to live. Parking is an issue if you live on the higher up portion of the complex and the managements only solution is to rent a garage at $99 a month. Getting out of the complex onto Mountain Road is a pain but they are trying to get a light which would resolve that. Do not bother trying to email with an issue or question. Most of the time, you do not get a response at all. Just go to the office in person. Noise was not an issue for us at all which we were thankful for with two little ones. Other than not responding to emails, staff is friendly. The head maintenance guy can be a little condescending but mostly he is easy to deal with and maintenance issues are handled quickly.
Been living here a little over a month. I absolutely LOVE IT HERE!!! So quiet here. Parking is never an issue. Maintenance crew is very prompt and responsive. Property managers are phenomenal and follow up on concerns. This is by far the best place I’ve ever lived!
Apartment size is amazing! However, there is never available parking if you live in phase 1. There are two buildings that use a parking lot designed for about half of the residents. When this is brought to managements attention the only resolution seems to be purchasing a garage (when available) for $99. No thanks. The walls are also EXTREMELY THIN. Every time my upstairs neighbors decide to get it on... I have to leave my bedroom to get away from the sex sounds lol. The entire community is pet friendly and tenants may or may not clean up after pet messes. With other options available I would strongly recommend another community.
Figured I would leave a review now. Ive been here for over 2.5 years now and I will say for the price and for what you get, it is quite worth it. The original company who owned this property seemed OK at first, but we quickly started to see the place deteriorate. We would have moved before, but we ended up sticking it out while the current company took over. Since the new company has taken over, everything has been a full 180. The landscaping is on point now and the office staff is super friendly and helpful. They are even continuing some projects for the property that was promised to be in the works when we first got here.As for the apartments themselves, my wife and I have a 2 bed 2 bath floor plan. The second bedroom is a bit smaller in our plan, but it serves as our office ATM. The kitchen is super spacious and is definitely going to be a negative for us when we leave here. Its hard to find a nice kitchen of this size. The master bedroom is very large and will fit any size bed along with the rest of your furniture. The finishes are nice and there is crown molding throughout. Parking is first come first serve; there is parking passes for you so you dont run into people having 3-4 cars taking up all the spots. It really hasnt been an issue here. You can get a garage which will allow you to have the spot in front of the garage, providing it is on a side of the building that has parking spot space in front of the garage. We have one for storage and the parking spot in the front.I will say this... if my wife and I did not wish to be closer to work, we would still consider staying here.
Excellent place to live. Close to both Fort Meade and Naval Academy
