Took my car that’s two years old which was driving perfectly fine for a brake and rotor change and they damaged my sensor and now giving me the run around to fix it after trying to get a hold of a manager for weeks.

Left home driving north to be with Sister/Aunt for Easter Weekend. There was warning light of low air intire which was going flat. Tried several places but they said it would be over a two hour wait. Went up the roadand pulled into Pep Boys and they said the could help us immediately. They took off the tire and properly patched it so Iknew we would be safe. Too long waiting time and The cashier so slow to get the things ready, and my tires was very good aligned and after my oil change wasnt good. Now the pull my car to one side. Totally disappointed of this place.

No Star, another customer was upset with the services he was receiving at the time I enter to inquire about services for my car.They really need to re-evaluate the levels of their customer service. Their pricing on the for the services to any car with Labor and/or parts should be recalibrated as soon as possible. They do not know how to balance or align tires.. would never bring my vehicle here again and wouldnt recommend to anyone. had my vehicle for 12 hours total to put 4 tires on and when i left i had a dent in my bumper which of course they denied doing

Try to AVOID this Pepboys! I could write a book about this place. The staff LIES! I asked for the managers special for $39.99. He calls me back up to the counter to tell me my Nissan Altima needed a special oil change with synthetic oil for $99.00. Mind you my car is 7 years old and I get regular oil changes at Nissan with standard oil $20. I scheduled my car to have the fluids checked. I left with a $260 bill! I also waited 4 hours. Then, I get in my car to find my inside lights were blown! NEVER AGAIN! I will deal with Nissan!

Worst store every, make you wait for hours to have any kind of work done, and the service counter people are rude!! There other places to go right down the street, that are much more accommodating!!!

After dealing with Leonard at the service desk for a second time,I will be taking my business somewhere else.Usually I get good service from the service people and never have a problem,but today I dealt with Leonard again and I rather go somewhere else instead running the chance of having to deal with him again.My company has a business account with them that Ive used many other times, but today Leonard said there was no account under our name, I gave him 2 different numbers that I know are in our file and still nothing and he couldnt care less to help me,or he cant figure out how to look up accounts, im not sure.

Pleasantly surprised to find a full service auto repair shop here. Ibraheem was my service advisor. He was very helpful and got me in and out.

Will never use again. I advise you to stay away. Ive used them twice, both times for simple minor repairs (tire rotation / headlight bulb replacement), and both times the incompetency in their employs clearly stands out. Has to be one of the worst places overall you can take your car for a repair. The mechanics are poorly trained and the staff working in the front have a very corporate business attitude to how they act and deal with the customers. In other words, your just another number and your complaint gets filed away with the rest. Good place to buy an air freshener or maybe a car battery from but I HIGHLY advise staying away from the repair department.

I walked in there and had a front end alignment done when I place I had paid for another alignment did not do their job they were very nice very quick and honestly theyre 40 miles from me but Ill take my car back there. The gentleman that did my alignment took the time to fix the tie rod end I put in to get there. If Id had more money I damn sure would have tipped him.

Bought a new wind shield blade and gasoline treatment. So really cant tell you, tell you ... I am no car mechanical guru. BUT, I will say this ... the gentleman that helped me purchase the appropriate length blade ALSO helped me put it on correctly.I know ... sounds like I am a bit helpless ... but thats only with things that vvvroom ... oh yes and I am technologically challenged ... other than that, Im good. Well ... take that back ... electrical, plumbing that sort of stuff. Getting back to Pep Boys ... for me ... it was a good experience.

I use the Pep Boys auto store on Northlake boulevard and have been using them for years now.Most of the people working there are pretty knowledgeable but yesterday I went in for some tune up parts for my vintage pickup truck and an employee named Mr. Gamile helped me find what I needed.Mr. Gamile was a great help finding everything that I needed and also was very knowledgeable about the different quality of products. Bought 2 new tires, I new wheel and 1 new tire pressure sensor. Total $600+. After waiting 3.5 hours, I left and within 2 blocks tire pressure light went on. I took it back and they futzed with air pressure. I left and again, tire pressure light on went back on. Took it back 3rd time and they say 2 of my sensors are bad!They want $280 for 2 new sensors and installation! Ridiculous!!!!

Today I had one of the best experiences someone can have. I spoke on the phone with Ibrahim about some work that my truck needed. He was very polite, very professional and answered all my questions. When I came in to drop off my truck he greeted me with a smile and promised me to take care of my car needs by the end of the day . It took several hours to do the work mu truck needed and Ibrahim called me several times to give me updates and to report some other work my truck needed to get done. Overall this is my favorite pep boys store. Thanks Ibrahim. :)

I waited 4 hours for an oil change. 4 hours! When the lady said “do you have time to wait” I’m here thinking that’s about an hour or two wait not 4! They have more workers than valvoline right across the street and when I went to valvoline months ago, they were able to help me and finish within 45 minutes. This is crazy. I don’t know if it’s pep boys themselves or what, but the work pace here is too slow. Don’t get me wrong, the workers are decent and nice, but I just can’t believe I wasted most of my day sitting in the waiting area just for an oil change.

I came up Wednesday to get an oil change, they was backed up okay, understandable, so I made an appointment to get it done on Friday for 9:30. I came in the guy at the corner tells me its a 1 1/2 wait. I wont be coming back to this shop again.

Brought in my truck because of slow leak in rear tire. They said I needed a new tire because it was damaged on the sidewall. Took it to a small independent shop for 2nd opinion. There was a screw in the tread, not sidewall. Indie shop plugged the tire and off I went. Saved me a couple hundred bucks not listening to Pep Boys. Pep Boys cant be trusted. Go elsewhere.

These guys have always been great. Im still learning about car stuff and theyve always been helpful without being condescending. One night I just drove up to the service bay with my tires low on air, and the techs came over, filled them up, and I drove off, no questions, no BS.A few days later, turned out I had a nail in my tire and didnt realize it. So, late Wednesday night I brought my car in (without an appointment), got the tire patched, and was out the door in less than an hour. Very reasonable price too. Thats how it should be.Ibraheem and my technician Chris were awesome, very happy with my experience.

My low tire pressure light came on so I stopped at Pep Boys to get some air put in the tire. Turns out the valve stem needed replaced. Ibraheem got me out in under an hour which is great considering I didnt have an appointment. He was very nice and professional. After going to a few places I decided to try Pep Boys and I have to say I will never go anywhere else. Ibrahim was so accommodating and booked me in straight away even though I didn’t have an appointment and he gave me the best price after trying several other places. I feel that it is important for me to give Pep Boys on Northlake five stars because the overall rating is too low, in my opinion, and I would like to improve that with my vote. Not that they are necessarily the best shop in the world. I doubt that I would ever have my engine or transmission overhauled there. But for Tires and Brakes they have always delivered in as fast a Time that you could humanly expect. Ibraheem was polite and helpful, even late in the day. I had to leave my car overnight and it was thoughtfully left inside the bay for protection. Ive always felt that its the details that make the real difference.

I had a great experience today at Pep Boys! I needed my tire to be patched and after calling multiple places that stated they would need my car for the day! Went here for a head light bulb. The lady behind the counter led me to the right bulb and told me this was original equipment quality. For 3 dollars more I could increase the light. Her knowledge and attention to detail were welcome. Very large store with good variety. Easy to spot on Northlake Blvd

I took my 2017 Jaguar F type in for 1 tire to be mounted and balanced and paid for an alignment. Not only did they tell me the OEM tire made specifically for this car was the wrong tire, they tried telling me i needed new tires all around. the tire they mounted wasnt balanced correctly and made the car shake. the alignment was done improperly and wasnt in spec. i took the car back and complained. they re balanced the tire and performed the alignment again and still didnt get it in spec. I took the care to tire kingdom down the road who balanced my tires and performed an alignment and got everything correct. I had to go back to Pep-boys and get a refund. I wasted two trips and about 5 hours waiting for them to work on my car. What a complete waste of time and hassle. Hacks at best

Had an awesome experience tonight 11/20/19 at this Pep Boys. I came in around 7:30pm with a flat tire, shop closes at 9pm. I live in Miami over an hour away though, so I would’ve been stuck between a rock and a hard place if I had to leave my car overnight. Ibraheen (sorry if I misspelled that, but I think I got it right) at the check in area was very nice and understanding of my situation. Chris in the shop was able to squeeze me in before closing which was so amazing (and prevented my night from getting a whole lot more difficult). Thank you to this Pep Boys and to these two gentlemen in particular for great customer service and speedy car service!

Went there for brake service and came out not getting my brakes done but left with a $600 bill for a lug nut replacement . $400 an hour for labor should be illegal, you could get the same service and a 2 year warranty else where save your tome & money

Yesterday was a long day, we were driving back from a family trip I had a tire blow out of the turnpike. I was able to get the spare on but unfortunately when I bought the vehicle it had aftermarket rims and lug nuts, so no matter how tired I put those lug nuts on still wasnt enough to hold the spare tire. I just wanted to get off the side of the road had my wife my two year old son and my 4 month old baby boy in the car. After while Im driving the vehicle starting to shake the spare rim was eating away at the lugnuts. We got off the turnpike and found this Pep Boys right before closing, thank God for Leonard he was willing to help, great customer service and really cared that my family and I made it home safe. Got the correct lug nuts was able to secure the spare tire drove several more hours and made it home safe. Then I get home, charge my phone and I had voicemail from Leonard with all the rushing and chaos I left credit card at the register. We had He spoken about purchasing tires, unfortunately that wasnt a option for me at the moment but I am registered with Pep Boys, so was able to find in the system and took the time to call me and inform me that I left my card behind. Leonard is truly a asset to Pep Boys he represents well and is a great guy.

Good customer service and the guys there are very nice and professional. The only downfall you pay for a diagnostic and they will give you a synopsis of what they think is wrong, then if that’s it the problem you’ll get charged again. They couldn’t tell me exactly what the problem was but he had an idea of a couple of things that could be the problem. So, if I paid for the first suggestion which would have costed me $300.00 and the problem still exist then I would be charged for another suggestion and if that wasn’t the problem, then I would be charged for something else.

Ibraheem at the service counter was quick to help me check into my appointment and they were quick to begin servicing my vehicle. I’ve been coming to this location for years and although the staff has changed, the customer service is still great!

Took my car in for a tire balance. They said it would take 2 hours. Fair enough. I worked at Chevrolet for 5 years and I hated tire balances. You can’t make money doing them. 2 hours later And the car on the lift for an hour. They say they will not balance the tires unless I change the lower control arms for 1000 bucks. Waste of my time. If I want my tires balanced and and you advertise the service then you balance my tires. Thanks for taking up my saturday afternoon for nothing ..... do not go here

I came in and asked for a time estimate to replace tires. I was told it wouldnt take too long which I stated that if its going to take longer than 2 hours I will have to come back another day since I have other appointments. 4 1/2 hours I sat in that waiting room...Everything would of been fine if they told me its going to be about 5 hours so I could have planned accordingly.

Came in yesterday and was welcomed by Ibraheem. He provided me with information regarding with what I needed and helped me setup an appointment and was able to answer all my questions. Clean location, great customer service and work ethic.

I returned on 10/02 to spend my 20.00 Pep Boys Reward and they were experiencing a lunch rush so a member of management, (I think) John, came out to assist me and directed me to a BOGO sale on something in my cart which was in itself a great help.He then noticed me checking out the air filter guide and immediately offered to assist.On the computer we reviewed the choices and cost and right away I had my new Champion Air filter in hand.(Actually, I first got Johns attention with an inquiry on a product on an end cap. )I then requested to borrow and battery terminal brush and tool to remove the terminal itself and without hesitation he found what I needed and assisted in the parking area until my terminal post and air filter projects were completed.Nicole in the repairs department is friendly, and very knowledgeable. Patrick, the Service Manager is nice as well each time Ive visited this store.

Was in a bind when battery suddenly died. Managed to get it jumped one last time. Then called Pep Boys on North Lake to see if they could help cause they were close. Fabiola was super nice by looking up inventory and prices. Then she transferred me to super nice Rochelle (Chelle) who told me to come on over right away. The exceptional mechanic Chris was so quick and thorough that I was in and out in 30 minutes. I had an excellent experience here!! Highly recommend this place and the staff that assisted me!! No one answers the phone after 8:00 PM, trying to make an appointment for repair for the next day, got no answer.-----------‐------------------------------------------------------Pep Boys, did resolve the issue, went to the store 2 days later, and they did a Great job fixing my vehicle, Thank you Leonard, Nick and Manny. Pep boys is ridiculous. I wanted to get some work done on my van and they gave me an estimate which I thought was fairly high. I checked the pricing for thE parts that they were putting on my vehicle at the parts desk and they were more than doubling the price of those same parts. And then charging me labor on top of it. They refuse to put on customer provided parts but Im buying the parts from pep boys... I wouldnt even need to touch them myself.They wanted to charge me $700 for parts and then another four $400 for labor when the exact same parts at the parts desk were $320!!! Thievery plain and simple. Unethical and unprofessional and complete BSAlso, they had my vehicle for two days before finally telling me that they couldnt do the work because I didnt have the lug nut key. then I see you at their service desk that they carry the exact same lug nut key that was needed.

This morning my car decided to breakdown on my way to work. I had it towed to this pep boys due to my location. Already in a bad mood. I was greeted by the service advisor Ibraheem who managed to get my car quickly diagnosed and provided me the issues. Ibraheem is very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles and told me only what need to be repaired. I was able to get in and out with record time and I will return to this pep boys location in the future. I want to thank Ibraheem for his outstanding customer service. Thanks!

They dont answer the phone, and when you go into the store with your question that would take them 60 seconds to answer they tell you to stand there and wait for 30+ minutes even if there are no other customers in the entire until you are so fed up you leave. Go anywhere else!!!

I have never seen an old spice car air freshener that you stick into your air vents, first I saw a febreze car air freshener but then I looked right next to it and I saw old spice and it smells so so so so good!!!!!! Also I got two new windshield wipers, RainX brand and they are AMAZING!!!!!

I love shopping here. This really helpful and nice guy named David C. helped me change out the plastic stick things that slap water off my glass window on the front of my car. He told me they were called windshield wipers, so i assume that that is a windshield that i look out of on the front of my car. Thank you, David C., for helping me out, I appreciate your patience.

The staff here is very friendly and helped me find the items that I needed. The store is huge and had a lot of space. The isles are wide allowing for customers to be able to walk past each other easily. I came in, found what I needed, and was able to get out with ease. I have been coming here since it was built in the 90s and will continue as long as I am able to.

I seriously cant speak highly enough about this shop. Ive been a long time customer of pep boys and have found the service quality differs from shop to shop but these guys have ALWAYS been phenomenal. I had a complete blow out on Wednesday and panicked because I needed to drive the car out of town Friday evening (anyone with a Fiat knows that parts can take days to weeks to come in).I called the store from the side of the road and Jim put me right at ease. He was able to pull up my info, find the exact tires I needed and have them ordered for delivery the VERY NEXT MORNING. When I got to the shop, I was nervous about rim damage because the AAA tow truck driver was anything but gentle (looking back, I shouldve just had pep boys tow it because it wouldve saved me the time and headache of watching my car be driven 100 yards with metal on asphalt - a total nightmare).They made sure to check over every rim and tire just to be safe. The car was fixed and ready for me less than 24 hours later and at a much lower price than I was expecting.Friday morning I started getting paranoid and thought I was hearing a slight humming sound on my drive to work. I was concerned it might be a wheel bearing issue so I called the shop again and they were able to take me in right away. They took the time to check the wheels, alignment and bearings and when they didnt find any issues, Chris took me on a test drive to see if we could recreate the sound. We couldnt - but he assured me that everything was tested and if I heard it again to bring it right back. (Im not convinced I wasnt imagining it after the start I had from the blow out 2 days prior). And that entire service was done FOR FREE. I couldnt believe it.The customer service folks are kind and the mechanics are thorough and honest. I wont be going to any other shops.PS - DO NOT go to the pep boys on N Military Trl. I went there 2 weeks before the blow out to get my oil changed and tires rotated since it was closer to my new apartment. They were nowhere near as nice, thorough (as evident from the blow out), or honest. They tried to tell me the condensation dripping from my A/C was a small oil leak and that Id need to come back for a lengthy diagnostic process. I went home and did a paper test to see if the leak they were talking about was oil and surprise! just water.. Trust me, drive the extra 10 miles to this shop for quality service you can trust!

Store not as organized as all the others Ive visited... Work was pretty decent but Im not completely satisfied. Paid more than I was quoted. They didnt do what I asked them to do as far as the inspection goes so Ill be getting my shocks & struts done elsewhere. Maybe they didnt hear me when I made these requests because they couldnt put their cell phones down. Had I not got up and noticed my car off the rack I would have waited another hour to get it. Once again, they probably would have noticed it was done and notified me had they been able to put their cell phones down!

Just moved here from up north, I ran and owned a full service auto repair shop for 45 years, first time taking my car anyplace else but my own shop for service. I bought some parts from there parts dept, I watched their service dept operate and I sat and watched the auto techs, thru the open bay doors. I didn’t see much I didn’t like, so I booked an appt for a full synthetic oil change. They did the service, came in on price, gave me a coupon to use and it was quick. I would have liked to see the steering wheel wiped down and maybe floor mats and a trash bag, other than that, I recommend them.

Bought 4 set of tires on my way back from Atlanta a month ago, each time I get on freeway doing 60/65 miles, the whole truck will be shaking. I was so worried about it, Took the truck to pepboys on Northlake, this dude Ibraheem knows exactly what I need. Got me in and out ASAP with less headache. Now it rides so smooth👍🏾

Maurice and Nick in the service area are patient and professional. Came in with a bunch of lights on my VW dash. The way I overheard them dealing with an array of customer problems was really impressive. A+ service. Nick was ready to leave and kept helping everyone! He obviously cares.

Walked in for an oil change. Ibraheem was very polite and helpful. He showed me an issue with my tires and explained it so that I understood what the problem was.

Ordered online and went there 15 minutes later and they already had my order ready. Other times staff has also been helpful too, and they have a large selection of miscellaneous items that you might need.

What a day. 4 hours on the turnpike for a tow truck after a flat. Dont use AAA! Its a Sunday and I was supposed to be in Orlando 4 hours ago. Crawled into the PepBoys at 5:15 and they close at 6. After calling Ibraheem from the road he and his team sprung into action! Stellar 5 star service. Ibraheem and his team put the Pep in Pepboys. They saved my trip.Come here and you will be treated like a king!

I came in for a valve stem replacement and they originally said it would take up to an hour, because they were busy, so I agreed. However, Ibraheem helped me and it was done in 10 minutes! Great staff, who are very kind and helpful.

Over priced tires... I had burst my tire on the hwy and they where the only place open and I had stop by and when every thing is done I had to pay 400+ for 2 weak tires walmart is down the street and I would have paid 146.76 for the same tire and everything.

Ibraheen was exceptional, explained the situation and what needed to be done, vot is in right away and was very accurate on times and very professional.
