Today, I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I came in to get a gel manicure and was surprised to see how busy the salon was on a Tuesday. As I entered two other customers entered behind me.An employee approached all 3 of us and asked if we had an appt. one lady did while the other one was a walk in just like myself. The employee then turned around and walked away for what I’m assuming was to determined who was going to do our manicures. I stepped to the side to look at the different colors to choose from. When this employee returned she came directly to me took the basket off my hands and gave it to the other two ladies. There was no explanation, was just told to sit down. she then proceeded to tell the two ladies to choose their color. I was completely taken aback by her approach. Felt as if I was being treated like a child being told to sit down and taking items out of my hand. As I turn around to express my disdain, she proceeded to ignore me and walk away. I completely understand there’s a language barrier but her body language said it all. She did not want to help me. I hate to bring race into this but hard to understand why I was treated differently then the two other customers. A simple communication/explanation of how she was taking care of us, would’ve sufficed. I was in complete shock and instead of ruining the rest of my day, I just walked out and decided to take my money else where. I hope this feedback is utilized to train your employees how to be inclusive and mindful of their words and body language. This was definitely the last time I’d ever step foot in that salon. I rather take my money where I’m welcomed.

I’ve been here a few times and have had good service but my most recent visit was a very bad experience. I had asked for a design with 3 of my nails solid and 2 of them had squiggly lines on them & provided the nail tech with a photo. She began painting my nails nude when the color I requested was a bright orange I asked her why she was doing that and she took it off. Another problem I experienced was I had gone with my friend and we both requested color 289 however once we finished our appointments we looked at our nails and they were extremely different shaded of the same color which I found odd because I questioned my nail tech many times making sure she was using the same color my friends nail tech was using. Other then that the appointment was going good until the she attempted the design which was 3 curved lines (picture below of my inspiration photo which I showed my nail tech) She did not use colors similar to the photo at all when it came to the design and did not check with me at all before applying the completely wrong colors to my nails, she then told me I was done and when I looked down at my nails noticed there were only 2 lines not 3 which I was beyond confused by since she had my phone with the reference photo next to her for the entirety of her doing the design. My friend and I both had designs done and she finished about 20 minutes before me which I would totally have respect for my nail tech taking longer ifI received good quality nails. While getting them done the shaping looked fine but I asked for square and there is not one sharp edge on my nail all are rounded and smooth meanwhile my friend had square and her had perfectly straight edges. I will be going to another nail salon tomorrow to have them fix this.

I’ve gotten my nails done a lot in my life and I’ve never had something this bad. First she didn’t even ask me how long I wanted them and she just cut them. Then the design I wanted looks nothing like it, it’s like she didn’t even try and just threw it on there. I honestly could of done a better job. It was just swirls. My cuticles are also in so much pain this morning from her not being careful and it cut me and now I have to go to work with pain in my hands and I use my hands a lot so I don’t even know what to do or how to get the pain to go away. So I don’t recommend this place at all especially if you want cool designed acrylics.

Relaxing atmosphere and attention to detail. Friendly staff and super clean facility. Great little shop with a lot to offer!

This nail salon in Oxford goes above and beyond when they design nails. I always let them be creative when they do my nails and they always come out great. Affordable prices and great high class ambiance inside, with a luxurious feel! Great pedicures, I recommend the therapy pedicure as it is unbelievable and leave you so relaxed. Thanks again for always making my nail salon experience a great one!

The worst salon Ive ever been to. To start off they didnt have the color I picked. The lady that did my nails was so rough taking them off. And while filing she cut every finger. I usually dont do reviews, but waking up this morning and having the tips of my fingers throbbing I had to. Ive never been so disappointed and annoyed leaving a salon. I will never go back there.

AWFUL! my nails are so crooked and messy. I was left with lumps and acrylic all over my fingers and underneath my nails. I asked her to fix them 3 times and I still left with messy nails. DONT GO HERE!

My daughter and I go to Lux at least twice a month. Everyone there is so nice, and they do a great job. I highly recommend Lux Nails!

This place is in a convenient location, very pretty inside and has a huge color selection. However I can never get out of there in a timely manner. A simple gel manicure is a 2 hour time commitment. Every few months Ill give this place a chance, and every time I leave irritated due to the timing. I would rather be told its an hour wait and decide if I want to come back on a different day, then the standard 15 minutes but its really an hour. Then if you show that you are likely to leave, they say youre magically ready and place you in a chair or a pedicure seat to passify you then have you wait longer without actually getting the service. I understand that getting your nails done is a luxury but I also dont want to spend my whole afternoon or evening there. I also wish they would wear gloves. Unfortunately Id rather go elsewhere despite how convenient the location is, its just not worth the time and frustration. Also I really wish they would wear gloves.

Clean friendly atmosphere and the decor is very classy. Staff is knowledgeable and efficient. Will definitely go back

They did my daughters nails and were great with helping her pick her colors. Shes only 3 so it was fun and they did great with her.

It was a 35 minute wait when they said 15 minutes but the work they did was well worth it! My nails look great and the design is exactly what I was looking for!

Ive been coming to lux for over two years. Not only is the staff kind and courteous but they do an excellent job doing what you want. I would definitely recommend

Definitely very pretty inside. I got a pedi and it was sloppy with nail polish on my skin. I also got my legs waxed and I wont do that again. As soon as I walked into the waxing room I knew it wasnt going to be good. Double dipping and unsanitary tissue paper left on the bed. GROSS! The girl over charged me which I didnt realize until I got home. Hopefully they will take the feedback and work to make their customer service better because this customer is not going back.

Great place.. Little slow but good quality

Went for mani/pedi Sunday morning, the polish dried with streaks and several smudges and I had two broken nails by the following day. The two nails were repaired the next day, very quick and sloppy. Very disappointing as this salon is very clean, has a convenient location and I was pleased with the customer service during several prior visits. So disappointed...

I came in just over an hour before they closed asking for a gel mani/pedi. I was rushed on choosing a color (my biggest, biggest pet peeve ever). The gel manicure lasted four days, the whole thing was completely off by the fifth day. Even the four days that it lasted, the color was completely transluscent and sloppy looking. They didn’t clean up my cuticles at all. My pedicure was relaxing but my feet didn’t look like i received a pedicure. Every service was completely rushed, which I get because they’re closing soon. I prefer a timely service over sitting there all day anyway. But if you’re gonna rush me, don’t half ass it and then charge me full price. Or simply tell me if you only have time for one of the two services I requested. I’d be glad to pick one. I work in the service industry and I’d rather stay 15 minutes late to give someone better service.Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the salon itself is very nice, the staff was very friendly, and it was seemingly a clean and sanitary environment. They’re conveniently located for me so I’m sure i’ll eventually try them again and I hope this experience was just a fluke and not how they typically treat their guests.

So unhappy with this place. Went with a bridal party of 7, booked 1st appointment in the am called & confirmed afternoon prior. When we got there they were surprised & only had 2 employees but when they looked in the book there was our reservation. There was supposed to be a table set up to serve as a bar / buffett for mimosas bloody marys & pastries we brought,there was nothing! After specific instructions on who was paying for which kid & being told that they would split the brides cost between the 3 adult sisters they let the bride pay for it all! Then on top of it all the gel polish I got that should have lasted 2 weeks started chipping 2 days later. So disgusted with this place & experience

Whoever did my nails kept texting which was very rude, bad service, and the nails are really thin and easily breakable.

They do amazing work that lasts!

I only asked to put colors instead they did more so they can overcharge you.What made it worse, one of the guys who works there yelled at my less than 2 years old boy for being loud....never again!!!!!
