Janie Clay is an awesome hair stylist! She is very caring and compassionate about what she does. She listens does exactly what you ask for and makes your experience there awesome. I went in for a cut and left with my hair looking great and even got me hooked up with a product perfect for what I was looking for and needed. She’s awesome! I will def be back for more! Amiya was a student that did my hair. They asked if I was okay with that & I was. And I have no regrets. I have thick & long hair & I asked for highlights on my entire head. I must say she did an AMAZING job. I LOVE it!! It was a 5hr process, but she was so patient & professional. I asked & she delivered. I’ll definitely be going back.☺️☺️

I took my son and daughter for haircuts today, Janie Clay was our stylist. Janie did an amazing job with both of their haircuts! She was very calming and reassuring with my 4 year old son and did an awesome job at calming his nerves! She was also amazing with my 8 year old and treated her like her voice and opinion was important instead of treating her like a young child that didn’t know what she wanted, which we both appreciated. I will definitely take my kids to her for their following appointments and would 100% recommend Janie for anyone with kids!

I went in the Oxford Alabama location today with my son and 1 yr old granddaughter. The manager Janie Clay cut my sons hair and did an awesome job. She also took extra time with my granddaughter because it was her first hair cut, she did amazing with her and her hair looks so cute! The other ladies were very nice and welcoming as well. Janie took the time to sell me great hair products for my hair type and gave me a great deal! I got buy 2 get 1 free on products! I highly recommend these ladies to anyone that wants friendly service with great styles!

Worst place to get a haircut. They will screw up your hair. Its like a child was cutting it. They cant even layer a womans hair. On my coworkers hair his haircut was lopsided.

I dont let just anyone touch my hair but someone mentioned smart styles to me about 8 years ago and thats been my place of nice up to date hair cuts and the beauticians are talkative and nice ..Love all you guys

I just recently used Smart Styles in Oxford Walmart. In the past I have taken my oldest son there to have his hair cut and the service then was horrible. However since Janie Clay came there as a stylist and manager the entire atmosphere of the shop has changed dramatically for the better and I have never seen it so packed and so much fun! All the employees even seemed to be having a great time all with smiles on their faces as we all flapped our jaws and giggled the hours away. Everyone seems to help each other out working together as a perfect team. It feels like they are one big family. My time there seem to fly by. I throughly enjoyed my experience there as Janie done my fantastic highlights and trim. I get compliments on my hair on a weekly basis. Janie has always been a wonderful stylist. But she has truly helped create that “me time get a way salon experience” It feels like time out with the girls and a place you can go for a peaceful get a way even in the middle of a busy Walmart. My sons and I will be using this Salon from here on out and of course Miss Janie will always be the stylist we choose and love.

I have followed Danielle for almost 4 years now. Shes the best. She makes sure I am 100% satisfied with whst shes done before I leave. I always feel absolutely Beautiful when I leave the salon, the other employees are Awesome, Brady, Victoria an the rest of her crew are all very friendly and help when needed in between doing their own clients. If Danielle decided to leave I would follow her to the next beginning of her life shes that good, the salon was clean an while my hair processed Danielle went around an swept the floor helping her crew.I was in that salon once before she became manager to buy hair products an the employees were not as friendly. If there was more stars I would give them a 10

They messed my hair up, it’s orange in tone & expect me to wait till tuesday (3 days after the original screw up) to fix it. managers rude, won’t spend a dime for these beauty school drop outs to touch my hair again again! i want a refund.

Told the guy exactly how we wanted it, he said he could do it... If I wanted my fiances hair this short he wouldve went to boot camp... We are not happy with this haircut...
