Jesse’s Barber Shop in Oxford is the absolute BEST. Awesome rock and roll atmosphere with a great and welcoming team of barbers. After not shaving or getting a hair cut for 4 months I decided to stop in and shape myself up. Had my hair cut by David, he made me feel like a million bucks. Walked out looking and feeling like a total rock star. If you’re looking for a good cut and a good atmosphere Jesse’s is the place to go.

Went to the Oxford location for the first to get cleaned up for a wedding. The atmosphere was awesome and all of the employees were easy going and fun to chat with. I saw Jake who did an excellent and professional job with the very vague description I gave him for what I was looking for. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

She was open to feedback given that I had been with someone else for a long time. Very relieved with the experience and will be back to see her again soon. Ive been coming to Jesses Barber Shop for about a year now. I had tried many barbershops in the area to get my beard trimmed and was never quite satisfied. I saw my buddy at a wedding and he was looking fresh, and he told me he went to Jesses and wouldnt consider going anywhere else. I made an appointment with Jake Brown, and hes been my dude ever since.I always look forward to my appointments. The shop is clean and inviting. The employees are always welcoming and the banter is top notch. I always get compliments on my cut and the value is awesome. You feel like part of the crew while youre there. Highly recommended, give Jake a pound for me when you visit.I should also mention that if anyone has any Covid concerns, the shop takes the issue seriously. My safety feels like a concern and they address the difficulty of masks and social distancing while getting a personal service without any issue.

Jesses Barber Shop has been my regular go to spot to get a cut for about 6 years now. Their quality is top notch and the team there has made a great environment for guys to get a cut while feeling right at home. Personally I stand behind Jake as my barber, he has been giving me Fresh, Clean, and Dope cuts for years and I never once have had the Supercuts Sorrow of sitting in my car sulking about the bad cut was and making plans to get it fixed. Every cut from Jesses is one you can be confident in. Final note, I know before covid they got a tap installed... I hope post covid the perks of getting a cut here start to flow again.

Amazing barber shop experience! Jesses has the best vibe with such friendly and outgoing barbers looking to make everyone feel like family. They have great prices and offer so many different services. You walk in and are greeted by everyone in the room, you can schedule online and they are prompt with their service. TVs on with sports or movies playing, good music in the background, and even local beer on tap to try while you get your haircut. I cannot stop getting compliments from people about my haircut since going here, and Jenn was able to work with me to craft exactly the style I wanted. I recommend them to everyone!

A fantastic place to go get a haircut. The barbers are great. You can schedule online with the barber you want and prepay. Then you show up, get your cut, and you are all set to leave. Very helpful when getting a cut during a work day. One of the barbers, maybe more, have early hours so getting a cut before work is possible.

I got my first haircut at Jesse’s Barber shop on Thursday last week. It is definitely an awesome place everyone was professional and cool They are all top notch barbers. My appointment was with William and he did an awesome job! Being a former US Marine it’s really hard to find a barber that can give a good high fade cut especially when they’re fading from skin shave up. William gave me an outstanding haircut and I was really surprised to find out it was the first time he had every done a high fade! I highly recommend this barber and Will. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

Ive been going to Jesses for a while now and even though Im old enough to be most of the barbers dad, I always feel like one of the boys. I try to make appointments but sometimes its just not possible, so Ive had haircuts from most of the guys there and have been satisfied every time. You could find a haircut somewhere else for a little less money but for me, the atmosphere is worth something too. Ive always enjoyed my experience at Jesses shop.

I used to go to a great barbershop in Stamford where they used to charge triple what Jesses charges - great haircut, done right every time, with impeccable service. I had to stop going there because my visits to Stamford were few and far between.Jesses gets it right every time - thats why there are crowds of people lining up for their Saturday haircut. I live in NY but work out in CT. I found these guys because it was the closest shop to me at that time. That was 6 months ago and I refuse to go to any other barbershop. Even on my off days I will drive 2 hours just for a cut. The shop is friendly and great for all ages. You feel like your family and long lost friends that happen to cut your hair as well. My man Nick Brown and Ray always make me look less ugly than I am, and always in and out with a great haircut. Jesse’s is the perfect combination of “cool” and professional. First and most important- we’ve always gotten an EXCELLENT cut. I am constantly asked by other parents where i get the boys hair cut. I’ve been taking my 2 boys (now ages 6 and 9) for 2 years. One is extremely introverted, the other has ADHD and doesn’t always sit still. The barbers have consistently proven themselves to be kind and fun with my boys. They speak to my kids like friends. They treat the boys with respect and make them feel just as important as the adult in the chair next to them. Further, Jesse’s support of local charity events illustrates his commitment to the community. From hosting fundraising cut-a-thons, donating gift certificates or competing in wing-eating competitions, Jesse’s Barbershop’s owner and employee support of the non-profit organizations that are meaningful to his customers, is impressive. Highly recommend.

Went in asking for a 3 on the side with a fade that started below my temples and longer textured hair on the top. I have cowlicks that I like to keep long so they dont stick up and a birthmark that shows up if the hair is cut too short. I let the barber know this. The guy told me that i gotta have at least a 1.5 on the side and that my hair would look silly if the cowlicks were left long. I hesitantly was convinced and ended up with a high and tight cut that needed so much gel to look good i might as well have cut my hair myself. Friendly bunch of guys but they are pushy and think they know whats best for you. That on top of the crazy high price for a simple haircut means I will not be going back.

Just the best place for a guy to still go be a guy. Great staff, great mojo and even better haircut. The only negative is that eventually you have to leave this little oasis and return to reality. But when you do, youll be looking fresh .

This place is awesome on so many levels. Its sort of a gentlemens club and a rare mens refuge of sorts, but a safe place to bring your kids as well. The owner is really onto something here. I hope that they extend their hours or store front soon. The only negative that I can say is that it can take sometime to get a hair cut at times because it has become so popular, but time can go by fast with the great ambiance that theyve created. I highly recommend. Reasonable prices and I love the products they use. They will even shave you if you ask.

I have been trying to find a place where I could take my boys and simply say, Just make it look good and it come out awesome. As soon as I walked into Jesses shop I knew this was the place and that is exactly what happened. A great haircut in knowledgable hands.
