I dont typically leave reviews but after so many failed trims, I cant not. First time ever. Came in for a clean up of a top knot for an interview. Its not even anymore. I could forgive the music being loud & making it hard to hear what name is being called. Totally fine with zero conversation during the entire cut. Not sure how you can mess up a simple trim though. Not coming back.

Was my first time here and LOVED it. Definitely will go back again. My hair stylists name was Desiree. I went to get my split/dead ends trimmed off and some layers. My hair looked so healthy afterwards! Desiree was great at making me feel comfortable, answering all the questions I had and coming through with exactly what I wanted my hair to look like. She really knows her stuff. Thank you!

Honestly the best haircut experience I have ever had. This review is specifically for Marc L. This was my first time at a Floyd’s and I decided to go with Marc based on how many great reviews he has. You can tell right away that he has been doing this for many years. He went into detail about my hair type and what hairstyle would work best for me. He listened to what I wanted and executed the haircut perfectly. He even showed me how to style it the correct way. He definitely lived up to the hype. If you go to this Floyd’s I highly recommend to book with Marc.

What an amazing find! I just needed my hair washed and walked past Floyds on my way to dry bar. They were able to fit me in and charged a fraction of that other place! Gema gave me an amazing shampoo and scalp massage, some product and a few minutes of diffusing my curly locks. I will definitely be becoming a regular customer here. It was clean and they were following all of the covid safety protocols. Highly recommend a trip to Floyds in Pasadena for what ever you may need.

Mark did a great job of giving me the look i most desperately needed, i was avoiding barbershops due to covid but this hair was getting beyond ridiculous. He came through in a big way since I dont like taking risk on new places but i was satisfied and will be returning a few weeks for a touch up, thanks!! Also the walls inside are full of great music art and collages that alone will keep your eyes entertained while getting a new look or style! Worth every penny.

You wont get as nice of a cut as you would from a celebrity hair stylist, but it is a huge step up from a budget barber without being a huge step up on price.

First rate haircut place...actually tried a color treatment to get rid of some greys..it took only 10 minutes. Good rock music and interesting collages of old school rock/pop acts. Definitely a different vibe than a regular haircut or barber shop. Super friendly staff!

A great convenient location. Located in the South Lake shopping area of Pasadena. Floyds is a friendly environment with a great team of talented barbers. I personally recommend Marc L. and Tommy G. Marc is my main barber and Tommy is my back up. I have been going to this Floyds location since they opened 3.5 years ago although I have patronized Floyds locations all over the US. If you go, say hello to Jessica the salon manager. She is a hoot! Tell her Leo sent you.

Marc at Floyds 99 is one of the only barbers in my entire lifespan who understands how to cut my hair. Ive been to many barbers who have said my hair is too hard to cut, which I think is weak because Ive never met a plumber who said sorry there is to much sh*t or a mechanic who said damn to much grease and oil LOL. Not to knock the other barbers there cuz they do a good job too. I felt like no one was trying to vibe me because I waited to long to get a haircut( I often wait a couple months or more )

Today was my first time at Floyds & I had an appointment booked with Tommy. This was my first haircut by a professional since about February, due to Covid 19. My wife had cut my hair over a month ago before today but just to get it off my ears and clean up my neckline. Needless to say it was a mess.... Anyhow, when I arrived I showed Tommy a few photos of ideas I had and what I was looking for. After listening he went to work on my hair and the end result was incredible. My hair was even, blended in, and how I wanted it cut. I couldnt be happier! Thank you Tommy! Ill be back for sure.

As a regular Floyds customer new to this area, I have to say: Disappointing. The haircut was okay, but the engagement/conversation with the stylist I was used to from Floyds - and go to Floyds to get - was totally absent. No idea if the difference was with the store, the stylist, or covid-19s effect on everything, but I will look for alternatives before scheduling another haircut at this store.

Amazing place to get your next Haircut or Beard trim. Once you walk in you get such a great feeling about the place. They cut and style hair to such a perfection. To many great barbers to even say who to ask for. But if i would give my opinion Irene is one of the fastest and very accurate to what you recommend. She listens to how you want your hair trim/cut/styled. I can tell you now im a usual to that place and go 3 times a month to keep my hair as fresh as possible. #FLOYDS99FORLIFE

I dont like the thought of a chain barber, but I checked it out and I got the best haircut Ive had since that Iraqi guy in London cut my hair years ago. I have simple hair to cut and some places as tons of questions I dont k ow the answer to. I tell them they are the professional, do what will look good. Sometimes I go to a small place and get a crooked haircut. Thats never happened at Floyds. Ill be back.

Visiting my son for Christmas and overdue for a haircut. Checked Floyds website and made appointment with Shane. At age 77, I have spent 40 years in search of a good haircut. Shane greeted me and immediately made me feel at home. He listened to my explanation of challenges with previous haircuts and my hopes for this one. He asked a few questions and set about his task. After about 35 minutes filled with interesting and entertaining conversation, I saw that Shane had exceeded my expectations. My only disappointment was that I had asked him to make me look 27 and that was not accomplished. I did, however, feel at least 10 years younger and got many compliments from my wife and family. I am proud to recommend Floyds and Shane but, please leave space for me to make my next appointment. Merry Christmas and Happy 2019.

I just have a question, for a 13 yr old boy. How much would it cost to get a middle part with a mid fade and a line up haircut?

Decided to give this place a try since it is pretty close to where I live. Got one of the worst haircuts I have ever received. At the price point, I would expect something much better.Edit: After posting my review, I was contacted by Katie who went ahead and helped me set up an appointment to come back in and have my haircut fixed. It looks much better now and I feel confident to come here again.

After over a decade of getting the worst haircuts as an Active US Marine, I’ve had trouble finding A) a good Barber & B) a barber/Stylist that would help me find a good style for me. Not only did the stylist actually care about my haircut, but he took the time to explain to me how I could style, cut, and maintain my haircut looking great.. if I could give them 10 stars I would👍👍

I tried to book an appointment online for today (Friday)but they only had available times for Saturday and Sunday. I decided to call in to hopefully book an appointment for today. I spoke with Nathalie??? I think that was her name... she said, she had time available in a few hours. I told her I’d call back to confirm (Dodger game tonight). I called back to confirm, I was instantly put on hold....after 5 minutes...and then 10 minutes, I finally hung up. They must of forgotten about me. Sounds like they’re busy busy. It’s probably a blessing...I wouldn’t have wanted a rushed haircut anyway.

I love this place! Christina cuts my hair and she is personable and professional. The place has a funky vibe and the prices are super reasonable, a great cut for $31! Cant beat that! I highly recommend.

First trip two months ago was okay, but requested Marc today I wish I could give him 10 stars! I have a thick beard but thinning hair. I was about 2 seconds away from just pulling a Bruce Willis on the whole thing, but then remembered I look horrible with a shaved head.Marc spent about 10 or minutes with me working out a plan to make my head look better, and my beard look more epic.Couldnt ask for a better barber!!

The best barbers and stylists at the best local prices. Not just a barbershop but full service as well. Color, hot towel shaves, lineups, fades, buzz cuts, layered cuts. Also everybody there is super sexy.

Ive never had a bad experience at all here until now, I asked for a color and cut o we the phone and they only gave me the cut! Instead of solving the problem they proceed to give ma cut. I dont know how the miscommunication happened but Im very displeased with this and will not be going here again. And the staff at the counter was rude not even a hello, just mean glares as you walk in.

Good barbers and nice vibe. Cant give a higher rating as I was turned away on a weeknight - hours before close - because they said they didnt have anyone available. The place was empty.

I have been to some exceptional barber shops around the world and would rate the shop as an average place for a hair cut experience. However, I have one particular barber that I goto and he is great at his job!

This place rocks. I always get a good hair and beard trim. The prices are on the spendy side but it is worth it every once in a while. I like the decor and the music is always good. Staff is fun and friendly.

I used to love Floyds but meh. It now just feels like any other barbershop. In this specific location they always seem to be understaffed and the staff at the counter are rude, they dont even greet you or smile at all when you come in.

This place is totally hit or miss. Definitely depends on what stylist you get and it’s hard to make specific requests for barbers because you can’t make appointments. Only walk-ins. That’s a risk that me and my hair do not want to take.

Nice place. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, and they took me right in (I guess it wasnt busy) Had a Floyds cut ($26) by Dolores and it was great. Very professional.Went back 2 weeks later on a weekday. Around 7:45pm. There was a barber working and 2 just chillin by the cashier and no customers waiting. When I asked if I could get a haircut, the guy t,old me they were done for the day (even thought they dont close till 9pm). Maybe they were waiting on an appointment... who knows. Im willing to give this place one more try, but Ill make sure Ill make an appointment next time.

I have been here twice now and both people who cut my hair did an ok job but not anything I would write home about. I have found that I do have a difficult hair/head shape to cut.... Big ole Asian head that if you dont cut right the top on the sides stick out. I dont know if its the culture of the place but the people who cut my hair dont really care about building any type of rapport. I dont expect stylists to have to get to know me but I actually like to get to know the people who cut my hair. If there is no interest in building rapport thats cool but then I would hope you would give an exceptional cut which is not what I received. After giving this place a 2nd try Im not going back. Might be the right place for you but it was not for me.
