Overall it was nice. I made an appointment and had to wait a little bit for 2 pedicure chairs to open so me and my sister could sit together. I had no problems with that. My problem came in when they told me to pick a color from wall which I did. I chose a neon orange cause well u know summer and all. Well anyway I get color and go get pedicure I was not informed that there would be an additional charge for the orange I chose. I was informed after toes were already painted and when I went to get my gel manicure that is when I was told about the additional charge... hence why I went with white on my nails rather than the orange. I understand special colors and such but if I would have known it was special I wouldnt have chose that color... other nail salons I have gone to put speciality colors in a Different area... just inform customers before applying colors etc. My nails do look good I appreciate the patience my nail tech took.

I tried to make an appointment to another nail spa that we always go to, but they were all booked up. So I wanted to try another nail spa, I picked this one for my daughter, granddaughter and myself because we were going on vacation to VA beach. At the nail spa, each and everyone of the staff members were so nice and friendly, they made us and everyone feel welcome. The foot spa was great, they went to the next level in making your visit nice. My nails, eyebrows look excellent and my feet felt excellent as well. My daughter and granddaughter felt the same. I just want to say a big thanks to Mendy, Helen and Vivian. We will be back to nail spa. We are happy campers.

Very rude establishment from the owner to the techs, Linda especially. It says they welcome walk-ins but they act as if I am not paying them and like they are doing me a favor. Not only did I have to fix my nail shape myself, but Linda did not even walk me to the dryer to turn it on. She was mad because I asked for my nails to be very square but she preferred to do some sort of slanted round shape. I have no idea what she was thinking and she got mad because I asked her to please fix it. Even the front desk girl said she sees exactly what I am talking about. I should have took a picture but instead I fixed the shape myself and kindly asked her to repaint this specific nail. I mean, the big toe is the most visible part of your pedicure. I know I havent been here in a while but I dont recall them behaving in this way. They asked me to pay before they finished my services which is not a problem by itself but you can tell she talked about me to therest of her coworkers in a different language. I will not be returning and will inform my friends and family as well.

This is a busy place and there is good value here. When I first moved here, it was near me and had acceptable service.I go here in a pinch, but its not my go-to nail spa. The owner is nice, but some of the staff are surly.Feels like a factory. Not really my cup of tea.

I have NEVER been disappointed here! The establishment is so clean and run well, the staff are very friendly, i will be bringing friends and family here regularly. HIGHLY recommend! Especially their deluxe pedicure treatment 💕

3 d gel was so incredibly thick that it made my nails look fake. I work for a medical center and when I took off my hospital gloves, all of the gel on one of my nails came off as though it were a press on. Went to another nail spa and it took 30 minutes to get the gel off. Worst manicure I have ever had

I was pleased with my nails. Some times nail techs put too many coats of gel polish and it snags and can be peeled off sooner than what you would like. Not here! My nails are done the way I like. I was well pleased.

Spacious shop, very pleasant. Prices are way to high. A lot of business comes with rushed jobs, dont like that. Every customer deserves their time with great customer satisfaction. Lein did my nails and she was excellent.

I had an AMAZING experience at this location! I worked with Casey and Kim and they were both such amazing help. This was my first time visiting and such a nice experience from the location, to the customer service, the cleanliness, and my nails look the best they’ve looked in years! They work like a well oiled machine and are the only salon I trust during COVID. They clean everything extremely well and take all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. My first visit here was for a pedicure and it was great, the ladies there did a great job. I wish I’d caught her name. Even though I didn’t have an appointment they still took me in quickly also, which I appreciated a lot.The second time I came was for a manicure. I had a appointment and I didn’t have to wait long at all. I loved the color of my nails. I really like their dip powder selection. But the woman who did my nails, the salon owner (lady with the head set), was terrible. She was nice but my nails were trash. The only redeemable thing about them was the color. The nails were bumpy and uneven. I ended up going to the store and getting heavy duty files to fix it myself.The THIRD(3rd) time I went there was AWESOME! I had an appointment that I was running late for and called to let them know. They were kind enough to try and squeeze me in. I had to wait a while but I didn’t mind at all. The woman who did my nails, Lien Tran, was AWESOME! She did such a great job. The nails look soooo good. I could tell that she was very careful and meticulous. Lien Tran is the only one I trust to do my nails.Overall:I don’t remember how much my pedicure was. But I don’t think I paid more than $25-$35 which included gal polish and a foot massage. I tipped $10.Both manicures cost me around $55 for dip(side note I get my nails done super short) I tipped $10 the first time out of courtesy for her time despite the terrible job. The second time with Lien I tipped $20 which she deserved.They are very safe and are practicing safe COVID measures.They do get very busy so I suggest always making an appointment. They do take walk ins but you will be waiting a while because they take appointments first always. But I think it’s worth the wait when you get the right person.

On my third time coming, there was a substantial problem where the specialist used too hot of a towel on my foot, which has been causing skin to peel for weeks. YMMV. They also recently raised their prices by about 25%.

First time visiting today based off of the reviews and I was not disappointed. Ive been looking for a new nail salon and this one I will be visiting again. The ladies were all super sweet and funny. They made sure I was comfortable. I had an appointment for 9am and they immediately seated me and took no longer than 5min to start on me. They have covid restrictions in place. Overall great job! Ive been here a handful of times and the service has been a hit or miss. I wont go back after my last visit. My gel manicure fell apart in 2 days and, most importantly, the nail technician was unbelievably rough in handling my fingers and hands, seemed impatient, annoyed at my requests, and in a rush to get to the next person.

The people who work here are a bunch of crooks! Get all price quotes in writing. I was quoted 2 totally different prices for my nails and pedicures that by the time I got to the register to pay they charged me $15.00 more than what was quoted. Very dishonest. The administrative assistant told me that I should have asked her what the price was instead of the person actually doing my nails. Now what kind of sense does that make? Do not go here. Find another place that’s more honest and won’t nickel and dime every cent out of you.

I love this place though I always leave feeling amazing! I typically get a full set gel with simple designs with a pedicure and eyebrow wax.

I called and made an appointment for long Sns nails. I told the receptionist that I would prefer the younger girl I had my first visit. Because she communicates and is good with the coffin shape. I hate this square look.The receptionist asked me when can I come in. I said it doesn’t matter. I just need someone who’s going to take their time and pay attention. I have disabilities and in my experiences I require someone slow. I’m not a loud person but if I return I will be very blunt. It seems like all of my requests were thrown out because she didn’t make note of anything about me other than I have long nails.I work Uber 7am to 10 and miss spam calls and unsaved numbers. No one told me they’d call me 3 hours after I made an appointment for first thing the next day. By time I was able to check voicemail they were closed. I’m a human. I had expectations walking that I communicated when I called. Why did the receptionist ask me to come in at 10 this morning for an sns appointment to be rushed. The tech got up 10 times to help the receptionist with the appointments, bring things in and out from her car. And for some reason 63 degrees is a good indoor temperature because the door was open the whole time! The tech didn’t ask me if I was happy at any point. I’m always over cautious of being aggressive, so I tend to be quiet. That’s what tips and reviews are for! $50for my hands to still be ashy. I spent half an hour with my hands in the bowl. And maybe half the hour she spent actually doing my nails. I was allowed 3 minutes to pick a color and she hovered behind and over me 3 times. I still have dried polish on my hands. Like I mentioned before. I wasn’t a priority, my comfort and opinion did not matter.Not a horrible job. I genuinely don’t like being passed along. If I didn’t care about my nails and how I wanted them to look I’d walk in and tell them it just doesn’t matter. But I specified I like my nails long. They’ve been this long for almost a year now. It’s annoying because when someone ignorantly cuts my nails because they reflect the melanin in my hair skin and nails. They’re healthy. The only reason why they’ve been short in 5 years is because 1) a tech cuts them. 2)pandemic closures and scarcity5 years of long nails, I would do them myself but my hands shake too much and my joints ache

I was there for manicure and pedicure, the person who did toes for me just did for 20mins and service I opted was 45mins one. When I asked about it she didn’t respond me.Later on I asked for a different lady for manicure as I didn’t like the pedicure person.They were like I didn’t something wrong and people were talking in other languages kept me waiting for almost 1hr by saying 10 mins.Price is not fair as wellFinally my nails are not goodWaste of money and time.

Had a good experience getting a pedicure here today. I have been looking for a new nail salon since I moved to Owings Mills several months ago. The place is really cute inside with a nice atmosphere. Well decorated etc.Staff is very friendly. When I got here early Saturday morning the place was packed but they got to me very quickly. My service was quick but not rushed. They have a LOT of staff working which made the place run very efficiently.I was pleased with the quality of the service (just a little more than Im used to paying for similar services in other cities). Overall Im very pleased and would plan to come back!

Best nail place. It is clean, quiet and relaxing. Every time I go I am helped by someone different but they are all equally kind and do a great job. They spend a good amount of time on each pedicure so you really get the relaxing experience and it is worth the money. I moved away and still travel to get my nails done here!

I really enjoyed my experience at Owings Mills. In my 12 years of getting my nails done I have never been taken care of so quickly and still received such a high quality service! I was able to be seated as soon as I came in the door. They have tons of colors to choose from and are very helpful when it comes time to pick the right one for you. And my nail tech did the BEST pedicure I have had in a long time. I will definitely be going back!

The milk and honey pedicure was exactly what I needed on such a weird day. The spa was very tidy and they continuously cleaned during my entire experience. Lien (not sure if I spelled it correcly) was very sweet and did and excellent job on my manicure as well.

I have been coming here for the past four years, and this is the first time I’ve had a bad experience. It is currently my finals week at school and I went to get my nails done before I go back home, and having this negative experience really really really bummed out my mood. The ladies, I’m not sure if they were really stressed this week, or what it was. But they simply just were not listening to me. They did not do the design I wanted, the lady cut me multiple times while she was doing my nails, and simply just did not apologize. The lady who was doing my nails, was using some type of new sparkle and was unable to get it right at no fault of her own, and took nearly 3 hours on my nails and then asked me to come in again today were they then spent another two hours on my nails for me to leave without them looking how I wanted them to again. They charged me yesterday, and then told me that they did not charge me for the design yesterday and charge me again today for the design after having a bad experience yesterday and having a bad experience again today. This was my favorite nail place in the area and now I am simply just discouraged and really really really upset because I recommend every single one of my friends to this place. I spent over $100 And five hours Here over the course of yesterday and today and I’m going to have to go somewhere this weekend to get my nails completely redone which makes me really upset and discouraged around the holidays to the extent that I got in my car in the parking lot today and just simply cried about it because it was such a stressful experience to not be listened to the entire time I was there . Again I’m not sure if the ladies were just really busy or overbooked or distracted, but it really makes me upset when I have been coming here for so long and typically I’m so happy with my service.

This place so my new favorite place. Employees were very nice. I had super nice talked to you during the session. My nail and toes look amazing. Favorite new spot. I was very pleased with the end result, believe me, you will want to return. I was so impressed I sent my mom the next day.

It was the middle of the day on a Wednesday and very empty just because of the time of day. Clean place, soothing mood, wine and great service. Greeted immediately and got the best service. Im very unhappy with my results from getting my eyebrows arched. This was my first time at this salon and I am highly disappointed. Angry in fact. The customer service was great but this woman burned my face. And I do not like my results. I am appalled! I will Never return.

This was my first visit but I was thoroughly pleased. I called the night before and asked for a 10 am appointment for a mani, dip powder, and pedicure. I was treated warmly from the moment I entered. The facility was clean, smelled nice and had soothing music playing in the background. My nails turned out smooth, shaped well and exactly how they should be. I will be returning to this spot.

Great spot in my neighborhood. My wife suggested that we go there tonight and I was like Nah!. I know that she really wanted to go for her benefit and wanted my buy in. I decided to try it out and honestly it was actually really great. I didnt know what to expect from a place like this. Im glad my wife convinced me to go . I walk a lot at work and my feet feel awful every day. This was a great way to unwind and relax at the end of the week. I didnt know that nail salons were like this. I never considered going to a place like this before because I thought that they only painted nails. Im pretty sure I will go back and get my feet taken care of regularly.

All the hype is totally true. This place is absolutely the best nail shop in the Owings Mills area! The pedicures are amazing and the location is hard to beat. It gets incredibly packed and busy on Saturday mornings so I do my best to come on the less busy days. Although a bit on the pricy side, you get what you pay for! My gel manicures last a minimum of 3 weeks here... everywhere else, Im lucky if I can get through 10 days! I truly enjoy coming here and Spa #1 Nails is now my go to nail shop!!!

Loved this nail salon. I got a regular pedicure...not a spa pedicure. It was the best pedicure Ive ever had. I was extremely happy with the service and value! Its recommended to go on a weekday if possible. Weekends are very busy.

Stumbled upon this salon after a stressful day at work. The place was busy but the employees got through all of their clients very efficiently.I tried the dip for my nails and gel for my toes. I was in and out quickly and the customer service was great! This is my new spot!First time here found them through reviews and I am very pleased. I got an upgraded pedi and gel on my own nails. Both services were great. Extremely Clean. Priced well. Very welcoming and courteous.

This place pays such a great attention to detail and service. Every times Ive gone in here I have been welcomed but not overly shuffled in. They always make sure that every part of the process is satisfactory and do a great job with technique. I am a bi-weekly gel mani/pedi customer and it is great. The appointment can take a while, but that is because they pay attention and dont rush you!

Went there like 2 days ago and call to make an appointment at the time I arrived they told me had to wait 30 mnts so decide to do acrilic the lady did a terrible service try to explain what I wanted n she didnt understand n was upset for no reason my nails look terrible ☹️ never coming back again !

I had a lot of fun watching my thermo-sensitive mood gel change color. The staff was patient and assisted me in picking them out. They lasted over two weeks. The salon was clean and relaxing.

Pricing has changed 3 times since Covid-19. Every excuse is always COVID-19 pricing. My appointments have been given away. The work is decent. The owner takes no responsibility for anything. Way too many nail salons around for me to have to pay a COVID-19 upcharge every month. Clearly the prices go up with the Covid cases. I shouldvé been advised of an increase prior to my feet hitting the water and not given an excuse of someone is new. Never to return

I went here yesterday 2/28/19 for the 1st time. I have thought about stopping in multiple times but today was perfect. I received service from Jack whom was very enthusiastic, friendly, and did an impeccable job. I highly recommend this place for everyone. They are welcoming,very clean, and provide a very relaxing experience.

I called on a Saturday to ask about the wait time, they said it was an hour. I asked to make an appointment an hour from then. She said no. That was fine, I was willing to walk in and wait an hour. I walked in half an hour before they closed, and as I was writing my name, the lady at the front rudely informed me they were not taking anymore walk ins. Now I know to take my business elsewhere.

Today I went with my mom and sister to Spa #1 Nails. This is my second time here in one week... Last week I got a manicure with SNS nails (which I love!) and today we all three got pedicures. Both experiences were awesome! My mom never likes to get her nails done but she had such a good experience today so she went ahead and made an appointment to get them done this Friday.I have been living in Owings Mills for 2 years and have visited many nail spas... And this one is definitely my favorite! I found it online after searching for a place that does the SNS nails (like gel polish but better!). I am SO glad I tried Spa #1 Nails because my nails/toes look GREAT. Everyone (including the managers) are SO friendly. They are down to earth and really genuine. They also remembered my name and could refer back to our conversation earlier last week. They have very reasonable prices, a clean and updated facility, and very friendly staff!!! One of the owners heard it was my sisters birthday today... So he walked next door and got her donuts while we were getting pedicures!!!Spa #1 Nails is now under new management... And they have done a great job of making sure their customers come first. Im really impressed.I would HIGHLY recommend Spa #1 Nails for all of your nail/spa needs! This place is definitely my new go-to!

Ive lived in Owings Mills for 3 years and it took me a while to find someone who can shape my nails and also provides a wide variety of polish colors while keeping up with the latest trends. I found them on google almost a year ago and I havent looked back since. I also recently got my eyebrows done and Im so happy with them!

Favorite nail shop.. I pass about 4 nail salons to come to this location. They have a large variety on colors, and I love doing unique designs and playing with colors. I appreciate the nail techs being patient with how I want my nails done. They seem to enjoy the creativity process along with me, now I take my daughter.

First visited this shop right before an out of town trip and needed my nails done quickly. Im not a fancy design kind of girl but I like neatness. It wasnt quick but it was the most thorough gel mani/pedi I have ever had. I went back last week and got the same treatment. Going there feels like a true treat! Its now my new nail spot.
