I LOVE this salon! I would recommend them 100%. They are friendly, service is A1, prices are very reasonable! But patience is key to this place. Its so popular that it tends to get crowded and wait times are long, but me personally dont mind waiting because I know I will get exceptional service and I never go when I have somewhere to be. Jessica is a DOLL! I love her, I believe she is the owner, she is respectful and keeps the salon cute and clean! DONT DOUBT JUST GO!

My almost 5 year old absolutely LOVED it here!!! The technicians were very pleasant even though we got here 5 minutes before closing. They didnt rush us and my daughter just adores her rainbow nails. Definitely coming back!!

Went to this salon for the first time to get a dip powder manicure. Staff was very pleasant and inviting, however the service was far from professional. I had dip powder on when I went in, so it had to be removed. Every other place I’ve ever been to soaks the nails in acetone to remove the existing dip powder. The nail tech pried the existing dip powder off of my nail with a nail tip. It was terribly painful and ripped my natural nail off to where it was less than paper thin. I had to tell her to stop and use acetone like they’re supposed to. The whole reason I started getting dip powder was because it’s better for your nail, but not when they’re ripping your natural nail off to put it on! Will not be returning.

I had been searching for a new place after quarantine last year and they definitely did not disappoint! The work is amazing and the cleanliness of the place is above and beyond! I feel like I’ve found my nail home!

I tried doing a reservation, they told me they had space, but when I got there, we had to wait for almost an hour, and there were so many people inside without standing 6 feet apart, a lady that had arrived after me had her nails done first. Only One of us ended up having time to get there nails done and the nail polish was really tacky, The manicure got ruined within the first hour, they charged me 6 dollars extra just because I used different colors but I ended up wasting the same amount of nail polish you would use with just one. The lady there was really rude to my friend and my friend so she ended up leaving.

Nice local nail shop in Owings Mills. It is located in the St Thomas shopping center. Prices are pretty reasonable, every time I go they do my nails just like I like them with ombré, designs, etc. I would suggest going during the week to avoid the usual weekend crowd.

I ONLY go to this nail salon now. When i first moved into the area 3 years I was looking for a new shop and I definitely looked around. Ghey are truly the beat. Always professional, fun, and good quality. They can be abit expensive but you have to pay for quality.

I was a customer in this nail salon the day before NYE 2020 and off and on prior to that visit if I couldnt attend Bella nail spa my normal place of service. However I will not be returning due to the I wanna be down unprofessionalism that I received from I wanna say her name was Jess whom maybe the owner/manager. During my visit I booked a fill-in and pedicure service and was worked on at the same time from her and another worker super fast and not to mention over priced. My pedicures have always been rushed and not worked on properly with care. I was cut by the scraper that gets the skin off of your feet on my my left ankle during my visit, and my Pedi wasnt done thoroughly, I was told I needed a newly overlay set to my nails which I was well aware of because these are my nails but that definitely defeats the purpose to why my nails started to look as if I needed a fill-in immediately after my visit, and the 1 nail started to crack across the top of my middle nail. I returned that next Monday after due to the holiday and closures and she told me she wasnt gonna fix it and it would cost $5 with a nasty wanna be ghetto attitude. Not to mention I spent $75 for my total bill that day which is way over priced in that not so clean shop. She needs to STOP trying to be so down with the environment she service and take more classes on being professional to her good paying customers. Im sharing this review because it needs to be said and stated. I will never return to this shop ever in my life to get services. Pick a better nail spa where your gonna be appreciated with respect and great care.

I made a appointment for this morning at 9:30am. The appointment was with Ms. Candy, she had me set up for a manicure but the experience and quality of the manicure and service was of no value. She rushed through my manicure, every nail was uneven 🙈 and the 1 TOPCOAT of clear she applied was NOT even on the nails (NOOOOOO where even smh 🤦🏽‍♂️ such an experience) and hands felt cranky after I was done; along with my cubicles being cranky & not clean as it should be. An experience I will not have again by participating in the business of AVALON NAILS!PLEASE GO ELSE WHERE FELLAS ! BUY BLACK ONLY ✊🏽

So since the pandemic it’s been months I got my nails done. I called around to see where was opened. I called them and got an appointment for the next day. Due to so many customers haven’t got their nails done in a long time, they were backed up because people wanted too much. But the work is still great. They still follow rules, 6 feet apart and clean after each customer. You have to make an appointment for now because they can’t have too many people in there at a time. They may run behind schedule but will take you and do a great job. I’m so happy it’s been almost 3 months. Just be patient and understanding. Make sure you remember your appointment time and date.

Loveddddd my nails!!! I recently had a terrible experience with a nearby nail shop. My nails were thick and lifting. Worst thing ever to me! I decided to take a chance with Avalon Nails and was very pleased. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be very attentive to their customers nails (something Im very peculiar about). I hate when techs rush! I decided to get a soak off, fresh set, and coffin shaped nails with pink polish . So much more natural looking and neat. Im quite the perfectionist myself so I loveeee neat work. Will be back!

I went to Avalon Nails last minute because my preferred nail shop was closed, lets just say I wont be returning. Jessica, whom I believe is the owner, did my nails and was actually rude the entire time. Im not sure someone with such an attitude problem and lack of patience should be working in an industry like this. I was experimenting with a new style and I had a few questions about what she was doing and what I wanted changed, mind you I said this all respectfully, and this lady becomes defensive immediately and starts getting sarcastic and matter of fact about the style i was just asking questions about. It got to to the point that I had to ask her to stop because if i remember correctly im paying for this!! All this to say it was a terrible experience and the manicure was subpar at best! 0/10 recommend

Jessica is THE BEST. She fixed my nails a while back from a previous place who messed them up and I didn’t even want to go back to have them fixed there. She did the best job I’d ever had in 15 years of getting my nails done. Highly recommend Avalon! If you want to see Jessica make sure you call for an appointment as she is very busy. Before the pandemic I always came to this nail salon due to the great service and professionalism. I’m never rude and is always polite. However, the past couple of times I’ve been there it has been a problem. The owner Jessica is very rude and puts on a ghetto facade. I was told by her to make an appointment 2 days before the day I wanted to come in which I did. When my God daughter, her mother, and I got there she hesitated to take care of us due to her not taking the appointment herself. I also wanted to get a manicure with dip polish (which I stated that we all were getting manicures when I made the appointment) but she made it a problem by complaining so I just wound up getting gel. All the other employees that work there are very nice & I enjoyed my experience with them. Due to the impolite and tasteless service from the owner I will not be returning.

I moved to the area about a year ago and tried several salons in the area, none of them were as good as the my old salon until I went to Avalon nails. All the techs are amazing, theyll go out of her way to make sure Im satisfied and love my nails. Love this place and they recently renovated, the salon looks even better.

Had called yesterday to make an appointment with Jessica(owner), she sits at table 1. My friend has been going to her for a while. My nails turned out AMAZING! She’s funny too! Very out going and friendly. Mostly, neat with her work! She’s a busy lady so be prepare if she’s a little late. She has a lot of appointments. So call ahead!

Terrible service, poor quality, overpriced, first they said a price and then they changed it, they took advantage of the fact that my daughter went alone to ask for more, my husband had to go and ask for a refund of the money, also they damaged her nails .... never go to that place, its the worst service.

Avalon Nails is the best nail salon in the OM area. Ive been a regular customer for the past 2 years and have watched them invest in their business. From remodeling and replacing furniture, to hiring professional employees who provide quality service. I moved around from salon to salon before finding Avalon and will never go anyplace else. They are clean, courteous and always aim to please.

I won’t lie, I followed Jess, the owner from her old store to this one. I watched her open this store and she became an inspiration to me as a small business woman owner! I continue to travel 20 miles and 30 minutes for her to do my nails because she does an exquisite job! I often have to wait, because everyone wants her to do their nails, she’s that good. She is gracious with a wicked sense of humor and I love her and all the ladies at Avalon. Jess takes care of them all and they really are a great group! If you are anywhere near stop in, but be prepared to wait as they are that good!!

Just got my coffee from Starbucks next door and didn’t think I would get a pedicure. But walked by saw they wasn’t busy thought would try them out. Nice chairs they got. Clean facility. Friendly staffs. Glad I came through.

I did a google search trying to find a new nail salon in Owings Mills after a HORRIBLE experience at a nearby salon. I decided to give Avalon Nails a try and I hit the jackpot with Jessica. She is very busy but still makes you feel like a valuable customer. She is very knowledgeable, takes her time, and is very witty! My nails look great and are on their way to being healthy again. i look forward to being a long term client.

I have been to a lot of different nail salons but this is the first one that I am a faithful customer. My nails always look amazing and I receive compliments on them. The crystals and jewels always stay on until my next visit. Everyone in the shop does a good job but Jessica is the best!!!!!

New owner Jessica is amazing! Truly a sweetheart who cares about her customers! She takes time with her customers to assure they are not only satisfied but extremely happy! So when she did my nails I kinda felt a stinging and when she finished 30 minutes after it I looked and saw on both hands I was bleeding! It has a lot of fumes in the air so if you are sensitive to certain smells/air prepare yourself! Nail polish was good not bad and not excellent! But overall good time!

My day was pretty garbage, so I decided I wanted my gel nails redone. Initially, I wanted to go to the foundry row nail salon, but there was a 45 minute wait. So I called this place and asked about their wait time. 0 minutes at this exact moment. I walk over - it cant be more than 4 minutes. The woman warns me that as I didnt teleport into the salon, Id have to wait a bit. Okay...I select my color. Seeing that I need a removal, she sets up a bowl for me to soak my hands in. And there I soak, for 30 spectacular minutes, staring into the void. The removal and file cost $10, by the way. Spare yourself and save your money. Never go to this nail salon.

I love this place! My nail tech Jessica is the best. When I can not decide on color or design she always knows exactly what I should do. She is so nice and always makes me laugh. This is my new salon and hope for years to come! I had tried several other salons in the area before I found Avalon and from day one I was treated like family! I went there and the staff is so nice, they took their time on my nails. I loved the outcome of my nails. My gel polish didn’t chip it lasted two weeks. Usually I go to Essex to get my brows done, I gave in and let them do my brows and I absolutely love them. Define fly will be my salon from now on.

Great experience! I got an acrylic fill in and there was no wait. I get mine my natural length and clear so if theres mistakes, it’s very obvious and hard to hide because of them being clear. But she did a fantastic, clean job. She was quick, got right to the point (wasn’t walking around, or stopping to do someone else’s nails), was in and out in like 20 minutes. Lastly, the price was clear. None of that grey area, the price was set and reasonable. Will be returning for sure!

I absolutely love this salon. I frequent the salon quite often, my nails are always Amazing. I have natural nails, and wear gel polish, due to nature of my nails I’m quite critical of any tech. I drive 30 min to this salon every two weeks! Definitely worth the trip!

My wife has used many nail salons around the area and most are mediocre but this place takes the cake. First off Ive never seen my wife so upset with any place as much as here due to scheduling mistakes and inconsistencies with the owner. Then today finally as the owner has insulted her with jokes about her as a parent and over shares her opinions about child-rearing without being asked. Simply rude and a horrible example of customer service, trust me I am a manager of a company myself and definitely know what it takes to succeed. This place will wither away if this woman continues her horrid customer service attitude.

Went for a full set. I didn’t intend on getting my eyebrows done but I did get them waxed. Loved the way my eyebrows turned out.Now as far as my nails, I’m on the fence. Hence my 3 star rating. I felt that she was rushing through the process and didn’t take much care into being neat and precise. I tried showing a pic of what I wanted and she didn’t even spend two seconds looking at it before pushing it away and just telling me a price. A few nails look crooked and it was caked on product build up around the sides of my nails. I was nervous to get my nails done because of a bad experience in the past and it was several reviews on here saying they were better now that it’s new owners. But this shop didn’t fully reach my expectations. It’s not horrible, but it could certainly be better with more training and better products for the techs.

When i walked in there was no welcome! They ate understaff .. they never intimated that but made me kept waiting! Just by hanging a piece of information on the sheet does not communicate it for you people have to approach and put them in words with an eye contact! I asked for colors by looking up colors from my phone ..... and the color supposed to be green lighter than the pistachio and i mentioned 3 colors this lady only brings 2 ... VERYYY POOR service i was not satisfied with this salon and after she fill in my nails she never told me to wash my hands rather she brushed them! And she messed up my round shape! Horrible i paid them for nothing i am never going back even if they say i am ready to do it for FREE

So, I went to Avalon Nails today and I absolutely LOVED the job that the owner did on my nails! Jessica was amazing with her service and making sure that my nails looked exactly how I wanted them to. I let her know in the past that my experience there wasnt so great and she let me know that its now under new management and she also just remodeled the place! She also waxes my eyebrows too and always gets them exactly how I want them. So i recommend any and every one to go check it out and youll definitely love your results. And shes a sweetheart, Im happy I finally found someone to do my nails and eyebrows in one shop.

Avalon has just updated their spa chairs! Not only are they extremely comfortable, the JET and Liner are disposed after each use to completely eliminate any potential concerns of cross contamination.I also noticed some new staff members, as well as the same friendly faces from before. I’ve been coming here for three years, and was pleased with the salon as it was before, but the upgrades (some still in progress) are nice enough to share!

I have been going to this nail salon now for 8 months. I was shocked to over hear them saying disparaging things about black women. Also the only reason I went there was because they did a pretty good job applying my eyelashes.Also the girl who usually do my eyelashes was on vacation and the manager was nasty and had a smart attitude when I asked if they had someone else to do my eyelashes.The girl that did my eyelashes half put them on and was rushing.I will not set foot in there again.

Cant say enough good things about our experience! My sister and I have been searching a long time for a nail salon to become our go-to spot. This is it ! ! Jessica went out of her way to make sure we were beyond satisfied. I love love love my nails. As someone who gets them redone every two weeks, I am so happy to have found this shop.

They don’t clean their bowls for pedicures or their utensils before each use. One of the ladies cut my foot with the foot file . The only reason I’m giving it a 2 is because the finished product looked nice.

So being that I dont write reviews like that, I gotta say this place will HAVE YOU RIGHT. You get your money’s worth here, my full set will last up to 3 1/2 weeks with no broken nail or nothing! The nail techs are friendly and about their business. Definitely hands down 10/10.

Candy did a magnificent job! Fast, while still doing a perfect job, doesnt mind you telling her when you want something done a certain way. She knows her stuff!

After having a terrible experience with Salon #1 Nails, I decided to come here. Jessica was very sweet and knew exactly what she was doing. With her help, she restored my (terrible looking) nails back to looking beautiful! Not to mention, I paid about half of what I had to pay at the other place. Much more affordable and much friendlier staff. Highly recommend this place and will be returning. :)

First time coming here. Recieved a spa pedicure from Linda and she was quick and more importantly neat. I do wish upon entering they let you know they PREFER cash payments, although not mandatory. I kinda felt bad cause I tipped and payed with a card. Other than that my service was great.
