Moved in 7/17 its so peaceful clean and feels like home Kayla made my whole move in process easy and made sure the apartment I wanted suited my needs. I cant wait to try out the many amenities at my new home. Chase lea so far has me excited to call it home.

I moved in in july and i still have several problems that i have listed prior to moving in which still hasn’t been fixed i moved in my tub was rusty and the manager said she can only get it reglazed it’s been reglazed twice since i been here and yet it’s still rusty they didn’t give me the apartment clean as seen in the pictures it’s several other issues its just to much to say i had new carpet i guess that’s the only good part as well the ceiling is weak i hear EVERY footstep from the ppl above me and not to mention the maintenance men don’t leave notes or anything saying they were in your house they came to my house the other day and left my door unlocked sad.. the ppl in the office clearly just wanted the money

Amanda, who works in the leasing office was amazing. Im a prospective resident of the property and as you know finding the perfect place is extremely stressful. She made the process extremely easy and communicated very well to accommodate my situation. It’s rare you find leasing agents as nice as her. I was thoroughly satisfied with her customer service. I’ll update to let yall know how this process ends.

I have been a resident here for a couple of years. This is what o see when I walk outside my front door. When I request for this to be cleaned staff member Amanda stated that the bird nest can not be removed while eggs etc are present. What does this have to do with the feces? I request for them again to please remove Amanda states they will get to it.Thank you for your service Amanda!!

Living here has been the WORST EXPERIENCE. I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m going to do this today. Infested, Infested, infested x18. That’s all I’m going to say. Maintenance is laughable...you mise well go get your own tools to fix whatever you need fixing. Absolutely, dreadful... please please please.. for the love of everything you love don’t waste your precious time or money living here.....

My current maintenance issue is giving an increasingly clear idea of how the apartment complex seems to be taking care of issues.I sent a ticket recently to fix a leak. Eight days, four maintenance visits, three tickets, and two calls to the office later...all that has resulted is two large ineffective fans, a partially torn carpet, and absolutely no communication as to whats going on.The experience has been quite frustrating so far, especially because I have no idea when it will end.

This complex is pathetic. dont waste your money here. My packages were stolen, filthy apartments and they took almost half of the deposit money. Ironic part during final inspection the person said the apartment is so neat and well kept.

So just had the best maintenance experience ever, not to say everyone that comes is not nice and professional. I put a ticket for my toilet and Devon shows up with a great smile in his voice. His professionalism and manors was above and beyond. Lets not leave out his customer first skills as he noticed other issues and addressed them as well. During this Pandemic when we have basically been home bound a smiling face can change your entire day. Kudos to Devon for going above and beyond 👏 🙌

As new residence, my husband and I are extremely pleased with our apartment and the community. Joanna was very helpful with the process and I am thankful that she was there to assist me and my husband. Despite moving during a pandemic, I truly felt welcomed by the warmth and care that was provided as we transitioned to our new home. Our apartment is beautiful, and maintenance is diligent to meet our requests. Thank you for welcoming us to the community, and we look forward to enjoying our time at Chase Lea!

We have lived here for coming up on 7 years now, and I was in another unit prior to that. Guihua in the office is absolutely wonderful. She is friendly and professional, and takes care of any issues quickly. Everyone in the office is so friendly that you never think twice about calling them if there is a problem. Maintenance is very quick to respond to repair issues and friendly when they come by. The neighborhood is pretty quiet for being so close to a main road, and it’s conveniently located for shopping and restaurants.

Low quality for high price and terrible expedient maintenance response. Terrible and completely unprofessional maintenence work when they eventually show up. Worst decision ever. 80 dollars more and you can get a better apartment across the street at Township. Smh.

Living here has been a blessing for me and I have called it home for almost 4 years. Maintenance is always responsive, the grounds are well manicured and most important, the leasing staff are very professional and won’t tolerate nonsense on this property! Joanna Edgerton is the most professional agent in the office who cares about the residents here. She is very caring and quick to respond to everyone’s needs and I must say she is the most professional leasing agent I have met in a long time! I love it here!

I recently moved in about 60 days or so and i have to say its been a wonderful experience. The staff is absolutely outstanding and i have had the pleasure of help from Joanna, Raven and Tiffany and its amazing the treatment they give to their tenants. I never seen a staff so caring and helpful for the tenants. That means a lot to a new renter because you feel you are being treated with respect and they are taking care of your concerns! I really love living here the grounds are always clean and the apartments are quite and am really enjoying living here plan to renew for sure! Bedrea A.

There were a few hiccups here and there when I first moved in but the staff addressed my concerns immediately. Everyone is so nice, the staff and the neighbors. Plus they host a lot of free community events that are a ton of fun! I absolutely love it here! I would like to see some better parking options like maybe each apartment gets 1 reserved spot each and any additional theyd have to pay for. Outside of that, this place is awesome!

February 14 around 3ish It’s started off nice when I came in chips was available leasing office was laid out nice. When I was call in the office to talk about an apartment the young man/boy seems bother to show me an apartment like he wasn’t interested to go outside in the cold I get that but it’s also your job and you sign up for this his ego was very high like he was to good and the attitude he gave me was like he didn’t care to have me as a new resident normally I do not write reviews but this need to be said I come from seeing 6 different apartments and come to see this one and was treated unfairly.

I love this community for a multitude of reasons. The leasing office staff is very professional, responsive, and friendly. I feel very safe in this community where it is clean, quiet and has lots of parking. Maintenance is nothing short of amazing - they respond quickly and get the job done right. The apartments are REALLY nice, well insulated against noise and the elements, and the layouts are great - they use space very efficiently. Its also really nice to have tenant events for opportunities to bond and mingle as a community. The neighbors are friendly and the ammenities (tennis court, swimming pool, fitness center, clubhouse) are well cared for as well as accessible 24/7. Also the grounds are maintained well and have regular maintenance done to preserve the communitys appearance. The location is great - lots of shopping, easy access to a major highway - and is an extremely nice residential area. Love, love, love living here!

I have been a resident since 2011. I chose a Chase Lea because it was a beautiful, affordable community, within my son’s school district.Over time there has been multiple leasing managers; each manager brings their own “flair” to the community and all have been consistently responsive, kind, and helpful.The Top Star has always been Guihua Edgerton (Joanna), Assistant Manager!! Although she has not been in this community for my duration, she’s been with Morgan Properties before my tenancy. Guihua is respectful, helpful, kind, compassionate, consistent, knowledgeable and has immense integrity. A truly brilliant diamond on this team. It’s a pleasure to have her in this community.The curb appeal has truly diminished during my residency. The residents (adults and children) leave garbage and trash outside of the dumpsters and do not pick up after there pets. I’ve seen vultures, and raccoons because of this. The landscaping is no longer beautiful- I’m not even sure if I can call what’s here now landscaping. There was beautiful flowers, pruned trees, plants and manicured hedgesThere was groundskeepers that would clean the parking lot and sidewalk if not daily, a few times a week. Blowing all debris out of the way and picking up trash. There was no liter in any corner of the lot, not even between the cars and the curb.Maintenance staff has always been respectful and responsive. I’ve had a few issues in my unit, and Knowledgeable about the units and helpful. I have only had two incidents regarding staff and two regarding contractors. All were quickly resolved to perfection.Leasing office associates are helpful, friendly and kind. Although they change out frequently, the young man that’s here now is a true rising star and I hope he has every opportunity to grow within this company.This community has been good to me, more than I could anticipated.Other than the outside esthetics, it’s a great community to live in and I’m thankful to be here.

Awesome place! Joanna is very informative and pleasant. She was the person that called me when I was approved, talked me through the entire process of what to expect, gave me a tour of the complex and a walkthrough of the unit I would be living in. She is superwoman! My unit is great, the grounds are clean and the area is quiet. Multiple popular stores are within a 5 mile radius which is also great! Barnes and noble here I come!I highly recommend renting here!

If I could put a 0 I would. Worst living experience ever. Constant issues with heating/hot water for entire stay. The entire winter I had issues with the heat and had to buy a space heater to be warm. Ended up moving out early because the leasing office/property manager/regional property manager were so rude and not helpful. Save your money and time.

I have been living at Chase Lea Apartments since March 2017 and it has been the best decision I have ever made! The staff here is phenomenal! Very friendly, professional and helpful. Plus, it is close to everything which is a plus to me!!! Stores, restaurants, parks, public transportation and local entertainment. The grounds are always kept nice & clean. Overall, a great community to live at!

I love my apartment here. The private balcony, vaulted ceiling, and breakfast bar make it a nice semi-luxury place to live. Neighbors are nice and never noisy. Close to everything you need in Owings Mills. I never need to leave my area for anything which I love. The only thing I would have to take a star away for is the parking. Trying to find parking during evenings and nights is almost impossible sometimes. Besides that, I’d recommend it to anyone looking to live in the area.

I recently assisted my grandmother with the move in process at Chase Lea. Joanna from the onsite leasing office was extremely helpful every step of the way. She called us every few months to keep us informed of available units that my grandmother could afford. We finally were able to commit to a small one bedroom unit. The process of getting her approved, signing the lease and receiving the keys was extremely easy and stress free. I cant thank Joanna enough for her assistance with the process and I would highly recommend this complex. The unit is perfect, the complex is well maintained, the amenities are incredible, and its set back off the main roads which provides some serenity.

I am a current resident. I see so many negative comments about the heater, hot water, and BGE bills. I experienced similar problems.I am happy with the area and the quiet neighborhood.When I moved here, I had huge issues with the heater that was not working properly, but the maintenance claimed it worked properly that had cold air come out. One of the maintenance member said a fan air after the heater is totally normal. Anyhow, it was super cold and the heater did not even help with $300 BGE bills for a one bed room. After I complained about 8 times, they brought a contractor to solve the issue. I get the warm heater now, but the fan outside of the building runs constantly even when your heater is not running. If I mention this, maintenance tells me that is normal. Well, that is what brings the BGE bill high and plus with the very poor window draft.Also, a freezer has not been working properly since I moved in last year. Everything works but only it cannot keep ice cream frozen. Maintenance exactly told me he cannot do something about this. I have never had ice cream since I moved in and I would not be able to as long as I live here. I know it is just an ice cream but things should work properly and when they do not and a resident brings something into attention, management and maintenance should step up and act upon to solve the issue. As of now, I wont be here for a long time for sure.

I have lived here for 2 years and i cant tell you how happy i am here! When i Moved in, the Property Manager came to see me to make sure i was happy! Theyre very helpful, comforting and downright nice. I like the fact that they care about the property and respond immediately to requests. I dont understand the other comments - have always encountered nothing but professionalism and kindness from the leasing center.

I went in today, I had an appointment at 2:30pm. Before I went in the building I was called on my cell phone by a Asian woman. She refused to give me a tour and she intentionally coughed on me. She should not be at work if she is sick. I should not have been exposed to her period.

I had a friend who lived in the community, so when it came time to move, I was anxious to take a look. I made an appointment, but when I arrived, no one was in the office. I waited for someone to return, at which time a family who was in the process of moving in came to complain that their new apartment had pet hair everywhere. I still waited 15 minutes until someone returned, and was eventually given a tour. Despite the wait for my appointment, and seeing the issue with someone else who had just moved in, I was still pleased with what I saw, so I immediately filled out the application, paid the fee and was told by the agent that I should get a call that evening, but at the very latest by Monday. I made it clear that having had a friend who already lived there, I wasnt going to be looking at very many places and wanted to get the ball rolling. I never received any call back. I called back on Tuesday, and left a voicemail for the agent I was working with who had stepped out the office. By Thursday, I called back again to see what the problem was, and again, the agent had magically JUST stepped out the office. Again, my call was never returned. I called back again the next day when I saw a cragislist ad for the exact apartment I was shown and was looking to rent. Again, the leasing agent was in the office but not at her desk. They looked up my info and surprise, my application had been approved earlier in the week. It was been 3 weeks, and I have still had not one phone call returned, they are still advertising the apartment that I was approved for, and I am thoroughly disgusted (and happily moving some where else).

If you dont care how you live and where you live chase lea is the place to be they could care less about those that care about the surroudings and want to keep the grounds beautiful they just slap loud rude tenants on the back of their hand and say now now behave yourself.....they dont get on animal owners about picking up after their dogs. so if the weather is warm you will smell the heat and stank of poop. they get no stars. they have a staff member that lives in chase lea who does not follow company rules by cleaning up behind her dog and i have the video and pictures to prove. the tenants over me sounded like the bed was running across the floor screaming at two in the morning i would complain . management did nothing

The reviews being posted are fake in an attempt to cover up the truth. If you look these reviews were posted after jessica hutchinsons review. Her review is the truth. There are many emails as well as pictures to support her review. Her sister was moved into filth. The unit was NOT cleaned before moving her in. The manager Michele had done nothing NOT even an apology to rectify this travesty. After agreeing to approve her to transfer to a different community, Michele had the gull to hinder that in an effort to bully this young lady into staying in a filthy, dirty apartment that has minimal hot water and heat with a 2 month old baby. Only to place you in sub par living conditions.

If I could give Chase Lea apartment a negative zero I would. My experience here has been the worst. The apartment here are not worth the money, and your BGE bill will be outrageous. There is no support from the leasing office or management, including Regional . I encourage anyone with issues with this complex contact your local Attorney Generals office. They charge for everything including the replacement of blinds, which is normal wear or tear. Do not waste your time here.

Stay away from this janky management company. My wife and mother in law moved in prior to our marriage. The leasing consultant pulled a switch-a-roo on them, and was given a different apartment at move in, other than what was shown and agreed to. So now they, and eventually along with myself was paying over $1400 per month, not including water, for an apartment that wasnt fully cleaned and at move in condition. The windows have horrible draft conditions, which will run up your BGE bill, and the neighborhood children tend to be rowdy during the summer months. At move out, with a zero balance on our rent ledger, Chase Lea took our security deposit. Why? They charged us for the tub that need to be reglazed. Number 1...the tub needed glazing at move in...Number 2..as a property manager myself, I know that tub reglaze is part of a unit turn, and most reputable companies dont charge the resident for it. They also charged us $10.00 per light bulb that was blown. Since when does a chandelier light bulb cost $10.00? The only real damage in the apartment at the time of our move out was a bleach stain on the carpet by the washer and dryer. My wife and mother in law was warned by former residents to stay away, because Morgan Properties will rob you. Those warnings proved to be substantial. Now I warn you all. Stay away from Chase Lea, and Morgan Properties until they eliminate their janky practices.

Treatment of the staff of this place is very bad i did 2 appointments one at 4:30pm i get there at 4:33am this girl told me make a new appointment because you are late but 3 min she dont told me other excuse just because i was 3 min late she was very prepotent acting up like im asking for free rent very bad treatment so i make other appointment same time i get there 10 min earlier there was now a other women and she told me they do not have the apartment to show the same one i ask by phone and they say come over and look at it so wasnt ready in this moment and i try to see other apt she say was to late to show me any apartment because is about to get dark when the sunset will be at 5:05pm this is no good why they ask to make appoiment if they going to do what they want y get there 2 times for nothing i do not ask them for free rent. I DO NOT ASK FOR FREE RENT bad people SAD im not the first person to complaint for the personal treatment very unprofessional!!!!

When me and my wife were getting ready to move to Maryland into this place we saw a couple bad reviews complaining bout noise and disrespectful neighbors and we just assumed that the reviewers were elders and being picky but they were right. Im 22 years old and very tolerant of noise, but our upstairs neighbor was fighting people at 3 in the morning, blasting music and being so disrespectful that it was disturbing us and the tenant that was above her along with other tenants on her floor. Multiple complaints were filed at the office for over the span of a couple months and the office kept lying and saying that they were going to evict her but never did until they evicted her because she stopped paying her rent. The people at the office dont care at all about the tenants that live in the apartments and if they find out what your number is when you call in to complain multiple times, they stop answering your calls. All they care about is your money and if you have any problems other than mechanical issues, plan to be ignored. The only bright spot at this place is the maintenance crew who is very helpful, friendly and respectful. They should be the ones in charge of that place because the people in charge at the office are a waste of space and should all be fired. We had such a bad experience living here that we ended up moving out of Maryland because we couldnt take it anymore. DO NOT LIVE HERE

They can even break the lock if you are not in the home when they given notice 2 weeks earlier that they are going to do some work . This actually happened to me . The supervisors are so rude and unprofessional . Even after giving so many complaints about the persons unprofessional behaviours the staff did not take any single effort . They will behave like we are getting their money. Please dont ever look to rent this place . I am waiting for my lease end . Living at Chase have been a overall good experience for my husband and I. The only problem I have is the noise that the upstairs neighbors make and the only thing the leasing office does is send them a notice. I only deal with one person and thats Joanna but I will tell you that your rent will raise about 7-10%.

Worst place to live! There is a serious MOUSE INFESTION!!!!! Maintenance does half jobs and cheap work! My childs play room had mice droppings everywhere on the toys and his closet. I complained 3 times before I got a wait a couple of days well fix it had to contact my renters insurance because this epidemic is unlivable!
