I went for a tour of the complex last week and overall it was a great experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. The living spaces were clean and looked modern. For those who choose to live here, it is quite beautiful.I ended up going with a different apartment because it was smaller than expected and there is little storage spaces compared to other complexes that I’ve toured. They offered off site storage spaces within the complex but you’d have to pay a fee each month to use it rather than having storage on your balcony with no additional cost.With that said, comparing all of this to the rent price advertised, I personally did not find much benefit from living here.

The Leasing crew at Red Run was amazing from beginning to the day of my move-in. I especially want to thank Chanel. She was amazing to work with. My fiancé and I was moving from out of state so we were having to heavily rely on her to make this move a smooth transition. And Chanel definitely came through. Her attentiveness to our wants, her follow-up with us whenever we had questions or concerns was amazing. I absolutely appreciate her time and patience and willingness to help every time we called her. I love the area. The amenities are great and my I love my 2 bedroom with a loft. It’s so spacious! I can’t wait to finish getting everything set up.

I’ve lived in this community for about 3 years and I have had a really good experience here. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They make every effort to ensure residents’ voices are heard and make sure we all feel safe. The neighbors are very friendly and there is definitely a community feel. The apartments are very affordable and close to everything in Owings Mills. I would definitely recommend to live here!

Recently relocated from Massachusetts. In search for quite complex community, not far from local stores and restaurants. Red Run gives me just that. Four months living here, love my apartment and it’s layout. Chanel B. One of leading agents, has been a GOD send. Responds and follows up quickly, always professional. Fitness area pool side great affordable place to live. I fully recommend.

My family had a wonderful experience looking for our new apartment here at Red Run. Although initially they didn’t have anything available, Chanel always checked in and ensured as soon something was available she would let us know and did just that. We just moved in and she has made this experience so smooth. I speak highly about her customer service as well as the other team members that I have spoken with.

I have to start with how wonderful the young lady who showed us the apartment is. Jessica is really familiar and such a pleasant person. She gave us a tour and explained so much about the rental process. The grounds look amazing! There is a nice sized pool, plenty of room to take a stroll, plus a gym, and parking is by permit only which is always a good thing. The apartments are absolutely beautiful with plenty of room.

There are multiple reasons that I have decided to down my rating. Please do all your research before selecting this property. I moved here because I had just moved to MD and needed someone where to stay. It is a great location but many issues arise and the company takes there time getting to them. Once I first moved in my washer and dryer went out and it took 3 weeks for me to get a new one. Unacceptable. I have been having problems with my hot water and it still isn’t fixed. I rather not keep having maintenance come out if they are going to keep telling me the same thing over and over. Then they sent me letter to renew my lease with a higher rent rate. Pleasant stay but maintenance is somewhat of an issue. The from office stay is mainly cooperative but I have called multiple times in the past to no information given just a you issue has been reported.

My time here in the Red Run community started a bit rocky but ended up being a fantastic experience. Grounds are well kept, my neighbors are wonderful and extremely kind, the maintenance is pretty responsive and I love that its so easy for me to pay for rent and water online. Ive absolutely loved my unit and the tree preserve view is breathtaking. Theres a wonderful sense of community here and the office staff is always extremely helpful and accommodating.

Maintenance is always helpful and always there when there suppose to them even when it late and it an emergency it could be at 2 am and they will still come

The location has good amenities, including the gym and pool. Maintenance performs any work requests in a timely manner, and the property is always clean.Truly awesome staff- they deserve all of the recognition.

I was there visiting a family member and this maintenance man was out side i was lost. He helped me find where i needed to go. i told him that it looked very nice and quiet there and asked him would he live there.(i like to talk to people outside a place to see if they like it, that way you always get the truth) He said, he was new there but he would live there. at that point, i knew it was a nice place. i had been there many years ago and thought about moving

I really enjoyed living here. They made some improvements to the common areas, particularly the pool which I enjoyed. The staff are helpful and attentive to issues. Tyler in the leasing office is very friendly and went above and beyond for me. I will miss Red Run!

The Cleaning Staff at Red Run are truly the MVPs for cleaning up after the residents and their nasty behaviors. I truly wonder what some peoples apartments look like based on their actions within the community. Clearly some people were not raised right! Thank you Red Run Cleaning staff for always keeping our hallways clean and for always cleaning up the unfortunate circumstances left in the elevators!!!!!

I recently tour the property. Quiet Property to stay at, it was very clean and well put together. Leasing staff was very nice and when I went to look at the apartment it had everything that I needed.

Poorly managed, there are better options in the area.Had our parking permit mounted on the rear view mirror and it can be seen upon close inspection.However, our car still got towed because it wasnt easily visible at night and apparently they took pictures.Towing contractor representative was able to see the permit clearly when viewed at the car while in the ironically named Vision Towing.We cant get our money back from their own mistake and the management is siding with them.

Update to my previous review!!I enjoy being here nothing much to complain about. Maintenance is getting better that i can say! I just signed my 4th lease! So that alone says i like it also my rent is still reasonable.- Rating: 4.0 starsChanging my rating to 4 stars. I love living here it’s just when you need a simple job done it’s never done in a timely manner. Maintenance is either slow or they are short staffed my kitchen sink is stopped up and i can’t use it. I called at 10:40 n the morning called to see if i can get my kitchen sink fixed so i can cook and clean called back to follow up around 5:05 i was informed maintenance has left and that a non working kitchen sink in my one bedroom is not a emergency/priority. Just know you’ll be waiting to get things fixed. Honestly this is my only complaint and I’ve been here 3.5 years. Just wish they handled maintenance calls a better.

This is truly a wonderful place to call home. It’s clean, spacious, quiet, and safe. I love the high ceilings, huge bathroom, and spacious kitchen. I love that there are many places to take my dog out to walk and play. I love that security drives around the community just to add that extra element of safety. And I really love how responsive and helpful the staff is. From maintenance, who always answer my request almost immediately ( and who are also super friendly!), to the guys out cleaning the elevators and vacuuming the hallway floors ( to ensure they stay clean); and the team at the leasing office. I’ve had a few urgent request and they are always quick to answer the phone, and to respond to my emails. Special shout out to Rebecca, who is so kind and patient, and truly amazing at what she does!! I’ve been living in red run for about 4 years now and I love it! It’s roomy in my apartment, there’s a pool and gym plus a play place for dogs ! Its just thee right amount of apartments/people in the building and not crowded which is something I really love about it. I’ve only seen my neighbors maybe 4 times since I first moved here an everyone is respectful so it’s a win win !!!

I like living here. The community is very clean. Noise is n we an issue. The only problem is limited parking and inconvenient visitors parking. I would recommend this community to others.

I toured an apartment with the manager today and she was very helpful.

Ive live here since August of 1999. My experiences have been, for the most part, truly pleasant. Ive been comfortable and felt very much at home here. My cares are addressed in a timely manner and Im greeted when the staff notices me entering the office building.Yes, there have been growing pains that have caused disappointments, but there have been *more* instances of help and assistance than anything else. In a community as large as Red Run, I understand when maintenance cant come right away. My only grief and sadness in these past months is the loss of *so many* trees - and that has nothing to do with the office staff.

Horrible.. 3 maintenance request within 3 days of Move in and everything on the same issue, which is TOILET. Instead of replacing with a new one, maintenance guyKeep on making patches to the existing (very old) flush tank.It’s only 5 days and it feels like I choose to live in HELL. Don’t know how i’m gonna survive 10 months more...maintenance guys are way way worse.. huge disappointment..!! Arghhh!!

I lived at this complex for over three years and had one of the best experiences, as a tenant, Ive ever had!For the most part, the staff are professional and always willing to assist residents.Issues are addressed promptly, when reported.(It was a hard decision to move out since the community is highly child-friendly, which is my biggest concern. )Even after moving out, the staff have continued to be accommodating, and understanding; especially Tyler Witt.The area schools are great, as well.Thank you to the Red Run staff and management for making my stay memorable.

I frequently visit the apartment to see family and the pool area is marvelous. It’s never crowded and last time I stopped by we were able to grill a couple burgers while the kids played. The gym is decent too, since it’s open 24/7 I stop by every so often to visit my cousin and workout with her.

I love it here because I am close to all the restaurants, clothing store and food shops. Im also 5 minutes away from the movie theater. Extremely quiet neighborhood there engineering staff is pretty quick on their feet when you call for maintenance issues. The office staff is extremely helpful and understanding. Ivebeen living here for 5 years now and met some really great people. Not saying they dont have flaws because they do but there good out weight the small issues. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great community to live in.

I was highly Impressed with the prompt services maintenance provided, the red run team has a few new maintenance guys that get the job done. I put a ticket in for my Closet doors to be fixed, Dareius came out same day and did an awesome job accommodating me. The red run community has improved so much over the past few years and I love it here. Would definitely recommend others.

I moved in Red Run a couple months ago, I like the community and layout of my apartment. I just wish the leasing agents would’ve inform me that my unit is over the mechanical room and I would hear the compressor running continuously. I spoke with the office about possibly moving to another unit but no feedback. Maybe if the property would try to sound proofing the units that sit over the mechanical room we wouldn’t feel the vibration and it would be a much more pleasant stay for the tenants. Hopefully this issue will be addressed soon.

Renovated apartments are nice. Location is great. Addition of second gym is great. Management team is friendly and responsive. Maintenance is friendly, timely and knowledgeable. Bring back the vacuum (car wash), crab feasts and holiday dinners! The dumpsters need to be emptied more frequently.

Great community to live in in Owings Mills! Currently on year two and I don’t see me leaving any time soon. Very courteous and helpful staff starting with Rebecca and Tyler and all the way down to the maintenance team. Issues are handled professionally and prompt and the customer service is top notch. Good location, great amenities and beautiful upgraded apartments. I get lots of compliments when I have visitors over. Definitely somewhere you should check out if you’re looking to make a move to Owings Mills!

Do not move here people will break in your cars no matter if it’s in a parking garage because people can just walk in they don’t have any security to help prevent it from happening they do not care.

The irony. You literally say on your site AND phone message that an emergency is when your AC goes out and the outside temperature is above 80 degrees; and yet you dont fix ACs at night and youre WAITING on a delivery of freon when they literally sell it at Wal-Mart. Good job Red Run.

Tierra in the leasing office has been a pleasure to work with. We looked at over 10 apartment complexes between Columbia, Pikesville, Randallstown, and Owings Mills.. Tierra and the Red Run Apartments stuck with us the most so we will be moving in next month. Tierra was very educated with the apartments and surrounding area.. Great environment, family friendly, and amazing staff. I had my first problem at home and Melcom (Im sorry if I butchered his name) came quick to fix what was broken. He was well mannered and most importantly, he did not bring any dirt on his shoes in my home. Great job!!!

After shopping around several complexes in the Owings Mills / Reisterstown area, this place was the most professional and had the most thorough answers to our questions. Jessica did a great job on showing us around. We deiced on somewhere else due to our income situation, but we highly recommend Red Run if youre moving to the area!

Special thank you to the Red Run management and staff for an outstanding Holiday Party for the residents. It was such a pleasure mingling with the staff and residents. I have lived in red run for 2 years, I my lease is up for review in March, I am very happy to stay another year, hopefully many more, today i had maintenance come to my place for repairs, He repaired my repairs so excellent, which every repair i get in my place is done excellent. Every one that works in the rental office, is super helpful and professional, I this is a great place to live. I recently looked at a few apartments in this area and planned to make Red Run Apts my next stop until I checked the reviews and saw how the leasing staff is going back and forth with individuals making comments about issues they are having. People have a right to share their experience and I personally make pretty much all my decisions from google reviews on a company. No longer interested. Thanks for allowing future prospects to see this though.

Units are very clean and spacious. My favorite maintenance guy is Melcolm, he gets the job done quickly and correctly the first time. I Love Love LOVE living here, would definitely recommend the community to a friend and/or family member!

Ive been living at Red Run for a little over 2 years now and I love it! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, staff are very pleasant and the property management team are extremely helpful and understanding. As a single mother, my priorities for any environment are safety, cleanliness and child-friendly atmospheres. Red Run is just that!

I have lived here for three years, and have loved every minute. Many people speak about the rocky transition between management teams, but I can say that the additions and the updates to the property have been wonderful. It is fantastic to have a leasing team that is professional, and takes a vested interest in getting to know their residents. Rebekkah and Tyler are some of the best people in the business, and quickly address any issues that may arise. The maintenance staff is also professional, friendly, and also care about the residents. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The security team is always around to make sure that everything remains that way. I can honestly say that within the three years that I lived here, the value of this place keeps rising, and I am more than happy to call it home.

My experience here has been great in the 6 years I have been here. 2021 would be going towards my 7th year but I have been blessed to purchase my first new home built from the ground up. So my good bye will be a bitter sweet one but I will always remember Red Run Apartments and the wonderful Property Staff I have come Across from the Maintenance crew to the Leasing Agents and Property Managers. It is not easy working with people but you all do an outstanding job!

This is the most uncomfortable place I have ever lived! I cannot sleep at night because of cigarette smoke all in my apartment. My allergies bother me the entire night. U can hear everything that goes on through the paper thin walls. The place is filthy. Dog slob and dog odors everywhere. I have 7 months till my lease terminates. God I will b so happy. Smoke detectors go off whenever. Staff is very unconcerned. Do not move here. It does not give the comfort that they ask for on rent.

In the process of looking for a new place to live now, my car was towed in front of my own apartment with the permit inside! And I have had maintenance come out at least 10 times with in the first few months of living here because of issues with water, washer, and toilet. Save yourself the stress, Im willing to meet them half way and understand no one is perfect but this is a lot to deal with. On a good note Tyler is great but Rebecca the manager is no help at all !

We moved in today.... and moved back out today. We were told wed be getting an upgraded apt for a specific price only to come in and get a basic model which was completely outdated with broken laundry door included. Went to talk to the leasing office and they were super unprofessional. Theyre over priced and dingy. Dont waste your time with these lames. Felt like we were in an apartment they had been preserving since 1991. For all that money you get nothing. If you dont take heed to this review youre a fool. God bless and good luck

I moved into red run apartments March, 2019 and from day 1 of my move in the people on top me RAN, STOMPED, WALKED LIKE THE HAD CEMENT SHOES ON, I kit u not EVERYDAY. I reported them the 1st 3 months and it went on until the day I moved out, which was March, 2020. My problem with the rental office was if there is nothing u can or will do than take that clause out of the lease.

The Apartment quality is so good, nice staff and so much space. I highly recommend this place for people looking for a new apartment.

Where shall I began. I was looking for a nice place to reside, preferably Owings Mills area. I happen to drive past Red Run Apartments and decided to inquire. I met with a leasing agent by the name of Jessica who’s very sweet and knowledgeable, she took me and my daughter on a tour of the property and showed us a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment located on the 3rd floor. The building was fairly clean, upon entering the apartment I notice how spacious the apartment was with ample closets which I needed. I did notice a few things that needed to be repaired and was told that it will be taken care of. I completed the online application and a few days later we were approved. I literally have been residing at Red Run for 1 month and have encountered LOUD DISRESPECTFUL neighbors whom reside above me, they purposely stump, jump run play loud music all hours of the night with little regard for their neighbors below them. I’ve taken the liberty to speak with them and asked if they can keep the noise down, to no avail the noise continues. I called the authorities twice and the noice still continues. I reached out to management and write a letter with regards to my concerns. I was told that it will be taken care of and still nothing. I’ve also needed repairs done in my apartment that I’m still waiting on. I’ve read the reviews of some of the tenants that reside here which was not that great. At this present time I wish that I would have taken heed to what was written because I refuse to pay nearly $1500 for an apartment where I do not have peace of mind or repairs being ignored. Lease will be broken!!!

I moved into these apartments about 3 weeks ago, and the build I live in look nice from the outside but when you get into the build, looks like it have not been power washed in years. It’s very disturbing to visibly see dirty on the building. This need to be addressed immediately.

Im loving all of the improvements that you have made, especially the package room. I also love that you added a step ladder when I mentioned having trouble reaching packages on the top shelf.

Weve only been here 2 weeks, but we love it so far. We have the space we needed for our small family but also its just beautiful here. Close to work, daycare, and many of our favorite shops.

I wish I could break my lease!!!!! I do not like it here at all. Only person thats been helpful is Jessica. All of the others, can go to..... Ive had problems since day 1!!! I have lived here three years and it has progressively gotten worst, with this years lease renewal being a regrettable decision! Under new management Gables and they are the rudest and distant employees that Ive ever experienced! It takes 2 weeks to get a maintenance request looked at. The grounds are disgusting. Dogs urinate in the elevators and on stairs daily. Children run around screaming on property until 9:30 at night. Complaints are not acknowledged and paperwork is loss. Im in the process of breaking my lease. Even the residents are changing for the worse. If youre looking for aesthetics, upkeep, quick turnaround for maintenance, and friendly management, this isnt the place for you.

DO NOT move here!!!! Gables residential took over the community less than a year ago and ever since it has gone down hill. Every neighbor I have talked to is moving out. They have a maximum of 2 maintenance men at any given time and nothing ever gets fixed. My AC has been broken for about 8-10 months now and still has not been addressed despite several calls, requests and visits to the office. They have lost a few of my packages. The pool upkeep is disgusting. The property manager is RUDE. They continue to raise rent without increasing the quality of life or atmosphere in the neighborhood. They no longer provide community activities that everyone enjoyed like the last rental company did. I love my apartment but the hassle Gables has put me through is not worth it.

This is a 5 Star Review, I have always lived in Owings Mills, This has by Far been the Very Best Community to live in. The Staff is Great, Maintenance is Super Fast. The Community is Clean, there are Plenty of Grills to cookout with Family and Friends, last but not least the Gym is nice

The leasing consultant Liz is outstanding and the apartment is good. However, the day I moved in my microwave was broken. I asked Liz to put in a request to get it fixed, which she did. Maintenance came and “fixed it”. The next day, it broken again. I put a new request to have a microwave replaced and I still do not have a working microwave. This is very inconvenient, especially for a 15 year in the apartment. I don’t feel comfortable having him use the stove to warm up food. For the amount they charge for this place, simple appliances should work/ or get fixed ASAP.

I have lived here 6 days and I am already finding out that maintenance is horrible!!!!! I was awaken at 7 am to the chirping of a smoke detector. I changed the battery but it has still been chirping every 30 seconds for all its 12 hours now. In doing research, I found that when a smoke detector chips with three consecutive beeps, that means its a faulty detector. I have called the office three times and still no maintenance. Not only is it annoying, it makes me wonder what kind of inspections they do on these apartments before renting them out. I should not be having any issues with a smoke detector, not even a battery for a place that I have only lived in for 6 days! Not feeling this place already!!

DON’T do it!! My retired grandmother moved here in December. Within a month she noticed noises in her ceiling and air vents. Soon enough, we discovered it to be birds. Fast forward to several months later, nothing has been done. We notified the rental office of the issue over 3 months ago. They have had the same pest control guy come by 3 different times when he already informed us the first time that he does not deal with wildlife.They opened up the attic in her walk in closet to check and a load of bird poop and bugs came pouring out. They left her floor covered in bird poop and did not bother to clean it up. Even after we vacuumed, the I tore apartment spelled like a bird cage. Centipedes and bird poop are what she sees everyday in her closet, bathroom and bedroom, all directly under where the air vents are located. She watches my 8 month old daughter while I’m at work and causes us both so much stress regarding the health of my baby in this nasty apartment. She speaks very little English so of course I am the one who handles everything and the rental staff(besides Jessica) are all rude and clueless. They all give me very different stories and explanations every time I call. I will spare you all the very disgusting pics and videos I have taken of the bug and bird invested apartment. I am working on getting my grandmother transferred out of there immediately.Save your time. Don’t do it. I live at Riverstone at Owings Mills and I don’t have any problems. Save your money and time. Don’t move here.

I’ve been living here at Red Run for two years now and it’s still as if I first moved in 😃 I have no issues at all, good area, friendly neighbors, and most importantly the staff is friendly my favorite is Jessica !!! She goes above an beyond thank you guys for this awesome experience

I have emailed this office 10 times about an issues they do not respond. I call they say they will take care of it but they don’t. That entire staff is sorry as hell. It’s too expensive to have to beg these people to take care business and repairs in the units. I’mStuck until my lease is up . Do not move here.

Horrendous place that preys on its inhabitants to swindle even more money than thry already have with their over-priced apartments. Stay away. This is a predatory company which you do NOT want to own the place you live.

My friend lives in these apartments and whenever I visit her it’s smells like cigarettes and dog poo. They look nice from the outside but the residents are nasty. I wanted to move here but from the look of these reviews I think I’ll look elsewhere

Seem to be a pleasant place to stay. Some neighbors are not mindful of the people living underneaththem however everyone speaks and my experience with management has been fine.

The management staff is great, and invites feedback. The property is well maintained, and the neighborhood is quiet. I love it at Red Run!

Asia is wonderful, her spirit is beautiful, she went out her way to assist me with things that wasnt in her job flow, I appreciate her for her assistance, looking forward to living here for a good while, bless you Asia and thank you for all your assistance.

Red Run Apts is a great community to reside in. It’s a very quiet community, my last 3 years here has been AWESOME, i have to say my experience from the very beginning with Liz B. has been phenomenal, shes very compassionate, attentative and thorough and will go above and beyond the call of duty.Thanks Liz for all that you do......
