We worked with Dave Strand and he was awesome helping us out. We had been looking at cars but hadnt found the right one but just so happened to come across the perfect car for us there and they were great! My husband also had work done on his truck and they helped him with a warranty and replaced his battery. Great service and nice people.

Ive had a great experience with Owatonna Ford with both their service and sales departments. I get my oil changed there regularly and I never feel pressured to do expensive repairs. Also, Dave Strand the sales guy found me the perfect minivan for my family. If you need a vehicle make sure you talk to him.

By far one of the best car buying experiences I have had. Dave was there every step of the way. He has been great after the sale of the car, been there to answer questions and provide input. Great dealer to work with, and with the market on the 2020 GT500s, they sold without any markup. Great team there.

We had a great buying experience with Dave Strand. I highly recommend him for your sales needs. We had very specific needs for a vehicle for our family, and he was able to make recommendations/suggestions and help us further narrow down what we wanted and didn’t want in a vehicle. He kept an eye out for us, and when the right vehicle in our price range came along, he let us know immediately.  We came and test drove it, and it was exactly what we needed/wanted. The purchase/paperwork part went very smooth and quick. Previous buying experiences at other places have taken all day, but this wasn’t very long. Throughout the entire process, Dave never pressured us, or made us feel like the victims of salesman tactics, but rather seemed genuinely interested in helping us to get the right vehicle. I can’t recommend him enough.

We had a great buying experience! Dave Strand was the sales guy that helped us the whole time and found us a really nice Ford Focus with great gas mileage! Gregg got us the best interest rate! I cant believe the deal these guys got us! Now we service our vehicles there and oil changes with the package deal for a better price than we paid at Cartime! Outstanding service! We bought both our vehicles from Dave Strand - Great Guy, whenever we have an issue he gets us in right away and is constantly keeping us updated. This is the only place I bring my vehicles for whatever work is needed from an oil change to brakes whatever it may be. I trust these guys.

Worst service ever!!! Took vehicle in to get worked on. When they called with an estimate to have the vehicle fixed was to be $ 2,000.00. when I called back to confirm and to approve that amount got a new estimate that was $800.00 more than the first. I told them not to go over the new estimate and that is what they did, they went over their estimate amount without permission. This is not the first time that this has happened. When I questioned Pat about the amount the immediately got defensive and started to argue with me. When he walked away he mumbled words about me that I will refrain from saying in this review. Pat needs to go to school and learn about good customer service because he does not have good customer service. Also the ladies in the office should have called a manager over when this was happening but didnt. Also they claim that they test drove my vehicle 2 times but the mileage on their statement showed that they did not test drive the vehicle. Also be weary of the inspection reports because they is not correct either. I will never bring another vehicle to owatonna ford again.

Today I brought my 76 year old dad to OMC to look at an older model Chevy Impala. I was worried he may not get the attention he needed since he wasn’t buying a high-dollar vehicle. I was clearly worried for nothing. Nate’s communication with me was top notch. The salesman who helped my dad was Joe and he treated Dad like any other customer. He got right in the car with him and talked to him in a respectful and courteous way. Thank you so very much to both of those gentlemen! Our almost-hour long trip was worth it. Staff are very nice but when It comes to vehicles the worse Ive had my car for 6 months and had nothing but problems with it have the extended warranty .. they fixed one time to where when I was driving it came unhinged from my shifter and they said ooops our bad the last time when I went in for the 20 th timw of buying my car I was told by one of their dealers to place my car in a storm so that the storm would damage my car so that extended warranty would pay for a new car I will never be buying a car from this place also contacting bbb and contacting a lawyer

I would just like to say I had nothing but bad experiences with Owatonna Ford. My car was there for three months waiting on a back ordered part, when I finally got my car back I made it 30 minutes from home(a 4hour drive) my car broke down again. After getting it to another ford dealership, one I trust, it is now fixed. Not only did I have issues with the service department, but I also had problems when I called to explain the whole situation. I talked to the service manager and was completely disrespected to the point of calling another manager to complain. I thought I was going to get some sort of customer service and something to make this nightmare of a situation right, after talking to this manager I was reassured the problems would be taken care of but I never got a call back after I was told he would be informing the GM and owner. I am extremely disappointed and would never do business there again and I strongly discourage anyone else thinking of using their services. Thankfully Mills Ford in Baxter fixed my car in less than a week and I am back on the road. A whole lot of head ache caused by lazy mechanics that couldn’t bother to do their jobs, getting people back on the road safely is key, do not trust them with your vehicle.Follow up..I never had a vacuum pump replaced by Fire Stone, they only did a diagnostic. I understand you all think nothing was handle incorrectly but I strongly disagree, I work in customer service and am shocked this is the way your company is going to handle this. When my engine light was on after being told my car was fixed I was surprised to be told “I don’t know what the code is but I’ll clear it and if it comes back on bring it to your choosing of service center “Or when I was told by Bruce that he can’t make me stay on the lot for an engine light. I was never given another option. Any who I now see that there will be nothing done to rectify this situation and that Owatonna Ford only backs their disrespectful employees and doesn’t believe in their customers. Thank you so much for holding my car for so long and returning it with two sensors still unplugged while belittling me and pacifying me while having me believe the situation would be rectified. I would also like to point out a had never had my vacuum pump replaced prior to coming to this service center so oil being found in the vacuum pump would be expected because that is why I brought it to Owatonna Ford.Thanks for absolutely nothingSeverely disappointed,Ami Miller

I just want to say thank you to Owatonna ford for the great service on my diesel truck. I broke down on a Friday night on the highway a thousand miles from home. They got me in right away Saturday morning and worked all day on my truck, even though the service department was supposed to be done at noon. A special thanks to Brandon and the diesel tech Jeremy for putting in the extra effort to get me back on the road. Jeremy does a Super job on diesels. Thank you!

I recently purchased my first vehicle here. I worked with Nathan. He was very friendly and willing to find timely answers even when he wasnt sure on certain policies. After my purchase I noticed the front bumper was actually disconnected and they were willing to fix the problem free of charge and even gave me a loaner vehicle while it was being fixed. Very friendly, and respectable. Definitely recommend!

Had an oil change done on my Colorado pickup the mechanic didn’t put a piece back in the oil filter the filter clasped and spun a bearing a wreck my engine and refused to pay to replace it they will never again have my business

Can I give more stars to Owatanna Ford? I really don’t like buying cars. Spent an hour in my local dealer last week dealing with usual BS including taking my truck for a drive and only giving trade value if I found something on lot “to keep it simpler”. I was complaining to a friend who recommended looking at Owatanna, even though they are a 3 hour drive away. Brandon was amazing. Communication was excellent and his driver delivered to me on Saturday morning, and drove my trade in back.I will absolutely be buying from them again.

Brought car in for recall notice service. Could not wait the six hours needed to finish an hour and a half job. Decided to leave after waiting 4 hours. Going back to our original Ford dealership Apple Valley Ford. Suggest service department visit a successful dealership like Apple Valley Ford to see how customer service is done. Wont be back!

ABOVE AND BEYOND. we spent all day looking and feeling like we where being prayed on by salesman that came out of the woodwork as soon as u hit the lot .not here i just didnt feel pressured at this dealership Dave was are sales guy and really went the extra mile to get us where we needed to be. i rarely give five stars and i can tell you that every time i dealt with this place whether it being a $20 part from parts or a question i have for service dept. to buying a car, its always been a positive experience for me ...thanks Dave for the van

Since my review got DELETED by this company, Ill just have to keep posting and take this up with the BBB. This place has the worse service department Ive ever, ever encountered.I really dont have anything good to say about their Service Department, and I am not typically one to complain, but this place screws their customers over.The short version of my story before they removed my post to keep good ratings, is that I took my 2011 F150 in to have a specific list of things fixed that should have only been a few hundred dollars; rear back-up camera was shorting in/out, I had a Service Advance Track light on, a door that had a sensor showing door open when it wasnt, a tired with a slow leak I asked them to patch, & a blinker bulb to replace.I got my vehicle back after MULTIPLE days with not everything fixed that I took it in for. After waiting days longer than they initially told me it would take, and with way more of a bill than I ever intended, they said my brakes were metal on metal (they werent, 0 sound/squeeking), degas bottle was required for a leaky transmission that never ever ever leaked (they claimed the heat shield caught it all, so I wouldnt have seen it), and that my REAR DIFFERENTIAL NEEDED TO BE COMPLETELY REPLACED. Total bill $2200 something.The very next day all my tires were low and my rear back-up still wasnt fixed. Brought it in for the assessment to prove what I just saw. Scheduled an appointment 3 weeks out to get the work done since they couldnt get me in that day, fine.Appointment comes to pass and I walk in at 7:55 to drop my truck off and I asked if they think they can get this known issue done in the same business day (i.e. 8-5). They go...ooh no I dont think we can get it done today but our mechanics are here late like 7pm and might be able to get it done late. I say nope, cant do it Im leaving on a family trip up north in MN and I need my truck. I tell them, just cancel it. Ive had enough getting jerked around at this point with all the yeah we should be able to get it done today and then never complete day after day, trips of 2 cars off hours to drop vehicles off 3 diff times (you know how it goes), and the premium price for sub-par work that didnt get fixed correctly and was completely fishy and seemingly unethical (i couldnt prove it without access to the parts, but I take good care of my vehicles).TLDR; Dont ever use this service department! My neighbors warned us it was bad and we gave the dealer the benefit of the doubt (to a fault), and even my wifes van we just bought from them had a broke door that was fixed yet AGAIN not fixed correctly the first time.Oh, and they also delete negative reviews. Ill save this one off this time and keep posting it until it sticks so people know what kind of company theyre potentially giving their business to.

People there are nice, atmosphere seems very clean. Had a friend who worked with this company and the internal parts of the company sounds pretty fair. Management is willing to work with most personal issues as long as proper notice is given. Showing up late will not be tolerated and he was let go.

You are dealing with low-lifes here.Salesmen here get off so hard after selling vehicles in poor condition at Dealer Price.Fords are made in Mexico and South America.
