First time customer of Marks Repair. I decided to give them a try because of their fair pricing and reputable service. The final price of the work I had done was actually cheaper than the original quote. I know this can’t and won’t happen all of the time but what an honest and high quality place! I will definitely be a repeat customer as I was really impressed with my experience.

Update: I used to have this shop rated at 5 stars, when it was owned by Mark. Ive done business with this shop for 12 years. Unfortunately, things have not remained consistent with how it was operated by the previous ownership. Recently, they repaired a tire that shouldnt have been repaired and now road hazard wont warranty it because it shouldnt have been attempted repair, and now it appears Marks Repair has closed the doors so they cant honor their work. They also charged me for balancing tires on my other car due to a vibration which should have been covered by the tire warranty, I was ultimately charged for the balancing and the reason for charging me was because he shouldve brought it back in right away, even though balance and rotate is covered for the life of the tires. Its too bad, it used to be a busy shop with excellent service.

Wouldn’t recommend this rip off to anyone. His work is less than stellar.This guy charged me $2400 to rebuild a transmission and uses a bungee cord to secure my transmission cooler lines to the frame.... a $1.50 “P clamp” was not in the budget I guess.I know this was not an accident or mishap because it’s clearly “TYPED” on my receipt “used bungee to secure cooler lines”Within 1000 miles I noticed a puddle of transmission fluid in my driveway so I crawled under my truck to find all of the transmission pan bolts barely snug. (Was leaking out of the back of the pan while parked on a hill)This guys so called warranty sheet is the biggest joke I’ve ever read.Do yourself a favor and stay away.Edit: Since I cannot reply to the owners response.That is a 100% lie. My shroud was cut for plenty of clearance and was never hitting. I wouldnt use a bungee as a permenant fix on anything. Didn’t have one on my truck until you used one.We can talk about how my transmission shifts like junk, basically slipping into 3rd gear or we can talk about how your “performance converter” choice is probably what’s causing my truck to want to jump out of lock up easily. You blamed it on my tires (33/12.50s) being to big. I’ve never had an issue before...I do not mind paying for quality but I did not get quality. I was an out of town guy taking someone’s word to come to you.I have Nothing but solid disappointment and dissatisfaction with the work you provided for the price I was charged. I believe you know you did a less than satisfactory job and you don’t care because you would probably never see me again.

I just realized that the job made during the oil change, this guys didn’t installed back properly the old filter cover, causing the plate to drop and destroyed beyond repair. The lack of carefully putting back the cover is going to cost me over $500 due to the negligence and incompetent people at this place. I would suggest anyone, to be careful before choose this place, since any minor service can cost you a significant amount in repairs. The worst car garage in town .
