Full of energy! Smells good. Intense workout with freedom to scale movements and even leave early if you need to. They have showers and friendly staff. $59 a month for 1x a week with $200 enrollment fee. To me that is too much up front, so I am doing $25 drop in based on my own schedule. Better pricing option would bring it to 5 star
Every Title Boxing Club is a great workout, but the administrative/service side of things is truly excellent with this location. They are genuine, intelligent, and efficient. Jeff and Shawn made sure all I have to worry about is putting in work.
This is by far the best workout. Plus, the bags have been spaced out (for the time being) to allow for social distancing. A membership here is worth it! The trainers will kick your a** and yet are so friendly, welcoming, and non-judgmental. How is that even possible?!?!
Best workout. Staff is awesome.
Title Boxing is not just another average gym. They have found a way to really cultivate and build a sense of community with their members. The staff and energy in the club is great! They take the time to get to know you and coach you on your form and technique. They are so welcoming and it’s a great work out no matter your fitness level. The trainers are motivating and they offer convenient class times. Amazing total body workout! I highly recommend to anyone!
Love Title! The staff is great. They take time getting to know you. The workout is very challenging. Nobody judges you if you need to take a minute to catch your breath or if youre struggling with the exercises. The trainers keep an eye on your form and correct you if needed. Very glad I joined and would recommend it to anyone
Love this place! I recently went for my first time & it was a superb experience! Champ was our instructor for the hour long cardio class and he absolutely killed it! Super great workouts and movements involved in his technique of training. Definitely a good environment and a fun way to get into shape! Champ was awesome. 5 out of 5 for sure.
This place is awesome! I’m new to the gym but this is the first place I’ve ever felt that really cared about my fitness journey and helping me grow individually. Jeff has been amazing from day 1 and really took time to get to know me and explain everything thoroughly. All the coaches are super friendly and the fellow attendees are always motivating. Highly recommend this for anyone of any fitness level!
Great community & workouts. The people are fun and welcoming! Every trainers has a different workout style which keeps things entertaining and new!
I am a long time member of Title Boxing (but in the Dallas area). I was in the Overland Park area for a few days and was able to get a couple of great workouts in! The other members were friendly and the staff is awesome and very accommodating. Thanks Title Boxing #1 for a great couple of workouts and for your hospitality!
Workouts are always fun and challenging! The trainers are knowledgeable, encouraging, and push you to push yourself in a healthy way. Jeff does a great job as the general manager, and the trainers are awesome-Shawn, Chance, Joe, Tyler, Darren, Anthony, Kate...just look at their website for the full list :D No matter your experience, everyone should give Title 119th a try--or even a round or two!
I have been a member at Title Boxing club for ten years. The trainers are very energetic and motivate me to get out of my comfort zone. The high intensity intervals burn tons of calories! I also love the atmosphere at Title. Everyone knows your name. There is a feeling that you are part of a family. I have met many wonderful people at Title and I am looking forward to the next ten years!
I signed up in October and was somewhat skeptical at the start just because $100/mo on a gym membership seemed overpriced. In reality though, its unlimited personal training- which means you dont have to write your own workouts. You do, however, have to show up and put in the work. It is difficult and challenging in the beginning but it does get better! I am several pounds down and have noticed my arms starting to show definition. The workout starts with a 15 min warm up, goes into 30 min of boxing/kickboxing, and ends with a 15 min core/stretch. Classes are at all times of the day so its easy to find time in a busy schedule. The staff is genuine and friendly. They really make you feel like you belong and can help each step of the way. I 100% recommend!
Its extremely efficient. I dont have a lot of time to give to the gym but Title makes great use of an hour. Its very challenging and seemingly doesnt get easier, because youre constantly encouraged to push yourself harder. Its judgement free. Theres unification in the fact that everyone is there to better themselves. Its addictive. Although it can be a struggle to get there, Im always happy in the end. It works. It has changed me physically and mentally. I love it.
I hate these people. Those are terrible people, the owner, and his son. They make you sign a contract and tell you that you can get out of it when you relocate or get hurt. As soon as you relocate, they make you get a million proofs to get you out of the contract! Or if you get hurt, they will ask for more than a doctors note. Horrible service. They make promises they cant deliver. They tell you that they guarantee results, but they dont actually give you your money back. They tell you that they will pay attention to your individual needs, but they dont care what your condition is. Im tired of their crap and high prices. Im going somewhere else and Im not going to stop till corporate gets involved on this.
This is a great workout. The trainers are personable and are high energy. I have seen an increase in my over all fitness over the years. Its a great way to work on cardio, strength train and lose weight.
I would not sign a contract for a year. If you want to work out, you should be able to without being in a contract. I signed a contract, and I have only been about 3 times, because I really just do not like it. Im almost done with my year of payments and I will never sign a contract at a gym again. You just shouldnt have to. What if you move, or you just dont want to do it anymore? And, be sure to cancel the contract 2 months before it ends, so you do not have to pay month to month. They also tried to withdrawal the money each month before it was due and then they would call me and have to make the payment over the phone every month, so be sure you have the money in your account earlier than your due date. : )
Been joined up for a while. I like the teachers, the staff, and the facility. Good equipment and awesome classes. I hope they get more weight lifting equipment in the future but for now Im more than pleased and love my membership.
My experience has been nothing but fantastic. The rennovations made at this club are awesome. When you are a new member, the personal attention from the management and staff to help teach you and make you feel comfortable are unmatched @ other Gyms. I was looking for something new and found it at this gym. I love the workouts and stress relief it provides after a long day. If you are looking to change your routine this is the place! All the instructors are great and you dont have to pick a class based on who is teaching, you can pick a class time that works for your schedule. I would rate every part of my experience with 5 *****!
Great people. Fun place to work out. You dont have to be Muhammed AliDanny and Jason run a nice place. Dont be afraid to go at your own speed....not everyone has knees, legs or shoulders of a 20 yr old Ever Ready Bunny. People there respect that :)
Ive been a member for several years and the recent switch to new ownership has been the best possible thing to happen to Title! The club looks amazing with the new renovations, the trainers are outstanding, the club is clean, class times are great, the staff is fantastic! I cant say enough good things about Title Boxing Club in Lenexa!!!! Definitely go check it out!
Great venue for your workout. The boxing classes are offered at different time slots that would accommodate most anyones schedule. Give it a try, you wont get disappointed.
I will start by saying I am a very rational person. Hence, why I decided to give this company 90 days to simply respond to one phone call or one email before turning to a negative review. I joined TITLE Boxing in 2016. I went to a free trial session and had a discussion with the manager after. I explained I would be relocating some time in the next 6 months and didnt feel comfortable committing to a 12-month contract. He explained there is a clause in their contract for moving, and that if I moved, the membership would be cancelled with no issues. This agreement was the only reason I decided to join. In December 2016, I explained to TITLE Boxing I would be moving and would need to terminate my membership. I was told this was not a problem and I wouldnt need to provide any sort of proof of address. I decided to go ahead and send the manager my new renters insurance, proving my proof of address, via email, and asked him to please confirm the cancellation. He never responded to my email. I called and he was never available. I was charged for January. I sent another email in February, no response, called and manager wasnt available. I was charged for February. I sent another email in March. Called and finally got a co-manager on the phone. He promised me I would not be charged any longer (I havent yet) and PROMISED I would receive a call from the manager first thing the next week to resolve this issue. I never received a call. So here I am. All it would have taken was a simple phone call or email. Instead, I was blatantly and deliberately ignored. Not a way to run a business. Not a way to treat a person. I would be wary in trusting TITLE Boxing.
IT IS WORKING!!! I was slow to start at first and I wanted to give up but after I talked to a couple of the trainers it was like an A-HA moment. I was going to get out of the classes what I put into them. So I started putting more time into myself and attended at least 3 classes a week and now I am 3 sizes small and dropping. It is not easy but this class is addictive. Highly recommend this workout!
Originally a 1 star review but Jason the manager did an amazing job and offered great customer service. Great gym and operator.
Place is great. Staff and trainers are awesome and help all levels of fitness
Your experience is up to you.I choose to have a good one.
Hands down, THE BEST Title Boxing Club in Kansas City!!Amazing trainers and friendly staff...my loyalty belongs with 119th!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!!!! I started Title a little under a year ago after my coworker joined and convinced me to take a free class with her. At the time I had just lost a significant amount of weight and was looking for ways to tone up and take my workouts to the next level. I needed someone to help push me above and beyond my own goals, and thats exactly what Ive gotten out of Title.Memberships here run in year contracts, payable in one sum or in monthly payments. For those who have never joined a quality gym before, the fees can seem a bit high...but you get out of it what you put in. When I joined I told myself that if I went 3-4 times a week (completely doable) then Id pay less than $5 a class, and thats a bargain when you think about it. And for those weary about being locked into a contract...dont be. Early on in my membership I temporarily moved about 25 miles away from the nearest club in the area and the owner gladly worked with me to suspend my membership until I was able to move back about 4 months later. Thats some GREAT customer service. When it comes to the 119th club...I didnt actually sign up here, but honestly I wish I had. Dont get me wrong...the other clubs that Ive tried in the area are great but this club is the ORIGINAL and the trainers here are simply top notch. Id personally recommend Anthony, Ron, Steve or Jason if youre looking for someone to really give you your moneys worth. These guys are all professionals who not only know how to construct a great workout, but also how to motivate each and every person through it. As far as the classes themselves, each class has a basic layout where the first 15 minutes are comprised of a warm up cardio/stretching combo...followed by 30 minutes of heavy bag practice and finished with 15 minutes of core work and cool down stretches. It sounds intimidating, but if youre willing to try it I can assure you it will be ridiculously rewarding (and addictive!) And even though these are group classes, its not uncommon to find several of the trainers helping out with classes by going bag to bag, correcting technique and giving pointers to individuals. I know I personally thrive in an environment where I feel like the trainers are just as invested in my success as I am...and thats definitely something youll get here. Having someone there to help push you past that point in your workout where you just want to collapse and give up is just completely invaluble in my opinion. So if youre even thinking about joining this club, Ill tell you what I tell my family and friends...DO IT! This place makes me excited to work out...and thats something I never thought Id ever say. Instead of throwing away money on a gym membership where you go maybe once or twice a week and phone it in on a treadmill, head over to see these guys and try a class. Youll get to hang out with some awesome people and burn 1000 calories while you do it. And honestly, whats better than that?
Love this place!!!! No matter what your skill level is or what shape you are in, this is for everyone!! I am so addicted to these workouts and the staff and trainers are phenomenal!!!
Fun, upbeat classes. The instructors are great.
Have I Ever Told You That This Is My Favorite Hangout? Well It is!3-4 Times A Week! HARD WORK PAYS OFF!
Great workout, definitely the best Title in town.
Loving this gym!
