Ive been bringing my vehicles to A&P for a few years now. They have performed a variety of different services, not just oil changes, and everything has been great. Ive never had to go back in for anything redone and the problem was always diagnosed right away. Ive had better experiences with them than any other auto shop Ive used. Thank you guys!!

I myself have never had work done there I do all my own work a friend of mine I wont mention names had a 2002 Chevy 2500 HD 6.0 automatic 4x4 so that they might know the truck they get an oil change forgot the oil the filter it fused itself to the motor too told him that he replaced the oil lines for the oil cooler all they did was put compression fittings and replace the lines that way never did a complete repair didnt replace the whole part I myself for the 80 bucks replaced it had to chisel the oil filter off thats why I give them a one star if I can give them a zero I would that aint the only vehicle Ive seen of their work Im just giving you the information on one vehicle another person brought a vehicle in to have work done they did the work overcharged them again very overpriced but the work failed the car went to the junkyard didnt leave New York they supposedly made the car better it made it it just before the PA exit they left the car they took the plates off and left the car they said theyre done call the friend they picked them up that was from an oil change that is all I will say on that note but you can imagine how the drain plug looked couldnt put another one in unless you got a bigger drain plug they stripped the plug out in the oil drained out going down the Thruway had to get to a rest stop thats as far as they made it so they had safety and they said they werent paying to have it towed home so car got left they abandoned walked away so to say that its a good shop theres other shops out there better it used to be a nice shop when particular mechanic was working there but hes no longer there with the company he came from a long family of mechanics he know what he was doing he was a damn good mechanic for the company but for some reason I never asked I dont care why he didnt stay with them but I will say this its not a good company Id rather go to a shade tree mechanic and I hate them too Id rather have my five-year-old repair it thats how sad but thats my feelings until they take and step up the game I have no good anything for that company

I have brought my vehicles there for a few years now. Always courteous and always do great work. Mike and Jeff always let you know what needs to be done and explain it very well.

Great service as usual. I had a tire issue which was diagnosed perfectly and repaired quickly. In fact, numerous additional checks were made to insure the vehicle’s safety, all at no charge - just done in an over abundance of safety. They have a system set up that provided SAFE social distancing. Another example of professional, accurate and FRIENDLY service. Thank you, A&P.

Very discouraging outcome. Dropped off my vehicle for annual oil change. I called twice to see when it was going to be done. No one called me. The second time I reached them they told me my hood was not opening. I asked if they knew how to open a double hinge lock 🔒. They said yes, I show up and ask them to walk out side and show me why they cant open my hood. He said try it for yourself so I did. It opend right up, I said well hoods open do my oil change service. They said no 🤣 they where too backed up already. Being told no in frustrating I tell them I will be making a review about the incompetent workers cant even perform a oil change service because they cant figure out how to open the hood and pull the latch assembly to the fullest position 😂. Then for the service manager Mike to call me and threaten me about what I post on Facebook and google for a review just was obsurd. Never going back nor will I recommend.

Wonderful staff, service and prices. They are always courteous, trustworthy and knowledgable. I have been going there for years and always feel confident in the work being done.

The family and staff of A&P are amazing, especially Mike and Jeff. Both are always helpful over the phone and when you walk in the building. They recently went above and beyond when I needed to replace a brand new tire and I could not have been more thankful and appreciative. I always recommend them to everyone, and I will not take my vehicle anywhere else.

Fought my husbands SUV to get an oil change and also to look at an issue that I knew that needed attention ASAP. A&P staff were nice and told me what they could do to fix it and did a wonderful job. I recommend this place if you need your car fixed or just an oil change.

There havent been very many auto places that Ive felt comfortable taking my car to, until I started taking to my car to A &P. Im glad that I started coming here. the guys are really nice and I dont feel like theyre ever trying to push unnecessary services.

I sent an email in and in 5 minutes or so I got a call from a very nice guy. Worked around and with my schedule as we only have one car and my husband has school all day so I greatly appreciate it. Also sent an email back regarding my appointment and what I needed. I cant wait to have what I need done by these guys! Thank you again so much for the fast response and being so friendly.

In a pinch I had to get my gfs car inspected before a trip (as well as get the oil changed, and tired rotated). A& P was able to fit me in to their busy schedule. They are always, professional, honest, and do a great job at repairs. I have grown to appreciate the level of service they provide as well as trust them after many years of being their customer. I recommend everyone I know to A & P.

Best place that I know to take your vehicle to in Oswego. The staff are very friendly and they do a great job. If something goes wrong and you return to them, they gladly work on your automobile for free in addition to installing new parts for free so long as the parts you had had are still under warrant and were installed by them. I do not regret buying my automobile from them and taking it to them whenever there is some work to be done on it.

Ive been coming to A&P since I moved to Oswego in 2016. You could not ask for better people to work on your car, perform regular maintenance, or give equipment recommendations! They went above and beyond to look for parts for an old car that I used to own, and I trust them when they tell me a repair or new tires are needed. A&P has your best interests and safety in mind, and they do not try to sell you something you dont need. They work quickly, and are easy to schedule appointments with. Ill be hard-pressed to find similarly trustworthy mechanics when I eventually leave Oswego!

Hands down the best auto repair shop in the area. They are all extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable and these guys are very trustworthy.

Recently moved back to Oswego. The exceptionally mild early winter set me up to be blind-sided by our first big lake-effect event. (How soon we forget!) I was effectively trapped in my home as I determined that being on the streets, I would be a bigger hazard to the natives than the snow storm. Called A&P and they got me fixed up that same day. I got a set of great all-season radials, from a manufacturer that I hadnt known about, that have me navigating the winter streets with confidence again. And the trip to A&P was just as enjoyable as usual. Courteous, fast and friendly service with a great follow-up. Thanks A&P.

NotesI have been a loyal customer of A & P for close to 20 years. I relocated to to Syracuse, NY 12 years ago, and tried another garage for an issue. After that experience, I found out quickly why it was worth the 50 mike trip back to my trustworthy friends at A & P Autos. I purchased Triple AAA with the 50 mile towing just for that purpose, in case my car was disabled, it could be towed back to the only garage I could trust. Being a single woman, they never took advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge. They explain any job that needs to be done, (if it even NEEDS to be done), and they explain everything. Their rates are very fair, their wok is the best. The wait time is never a problem. They never find issues that cant be verified. In other words, I trust them 100%! No matter who I mention A &P to, the comments are always the same- They are great people! I am driving a 2004 Toyota Camry, which is like new, and if it could talk, it would say, I love it there and Thank you, MIke, Pat, Jeff and entire staff at A & P!Marianne Barone Trent

A&P Auto diagnosed a car issue (that was misdiagnosed by another service center) and then called to say the issue was covered under an extended warranty and they would send to Ford Dealer to complete repair without a cost to me for repair (only a small diagnostic fee). Then Mike at A&P called Ford Dealer when they had trouble determining the problem and further explained the issue. What other dealer would do that? I highly recommend Mike and A&P Auto to anyone in the Oswego area - including SUNY students - like my daughter. Thank you Mike!

These guys are straight-up honest as honest can be. No monkey business at A&P, they know their stuff and are very reasonable. Its a no-brainer.

Can only imagine the advantage they take on people who dont know better. A few years back my mom came here for a leveling kit, she paid a few hundred dollars and they never even touched the truck. Not realizing it was the same place I scheduled an inspection and they told me my serpentine belt was missing chunks out of it and failed my inspection. I look and see a few cracks, nothing unusual, the tech says you cant see the chunks missing there but its bad. I take it home and remove/replace the belt only to find the belt is actually fine, ask my brother whos a mechanic, Google the DMV guidelines and other info to make sure Im right. Yes there was some cracking but no there wernt any pieces missing and the backing/smooth side was as good as new, nothing you wouldnt see on any car that came in there unless the belt was brand new. Came back and showed him the belt and he continued to argue the point with me til I walked away and waited for my inspection to be finished. Ill be calling the state soon.

Wow...I am so Glad I took time to take a Dr. To Oswego N.Y. to look @ a Traverse for my Daughter whos pregnant an due any day now..Mike ( salesman / Manager ) @ A&P Auto was Straight up from my first phone call to our last hand shake as we left ..The min we walked around the vehicle w Mike I had a great feeling of this guys Straight up an honest. Pointed out any scratches on vehicle (one )--( No dents )Mike commented the tires need replaced an brakes will need checked also once we deside if we want that vehicle..After our drive test we nogatated a deal in mins .none of this normal ..I gotta ask the boss like one hears @ Big Box dealers. He Made the deal in seconds..Id recamend this place to any an all..even his assistant was very helpful w programming my daughters phone to the vehicle.
