We moved into a house in November. Slowly we started seeing one little roach. Then two, then a bunch. I called Home Team Pest Defense. They were so nice and accommodating. Turns out we have a fairly small infestation behind appliances. They charge $350 to come back weekly at least the first few weeks to make sure they kill everything. Sheldon has come three times for treatment and he is awesome. He always calls to give a heads up when he’s coming. He not only does a great job but he takes time to explain exactly everything he’s doing and how to prevent them from coming back. He usually comes Monday as that is my day off. My husband travels for work during the week so it’s just me. Although this coming Monday is the observed holiday he offered to come by to set traps if there is not another day I will be home. I would definitely recommend.

Decent service, but do not sign a contract with them because they get you with the fine print. You are better off just calling them when you need rather than getting into a yearly contract.

Asked about getting tent fume service and was told that they only do fumigations if you already have a termite bond. They also said the termite bond only covers subterranean termites. Subterranean termites are not treated by fumigation. Im not sure these people know what theyre talking about....

Both the sales woman who came out and the tech who did the work were very professional, very friendly, and they were happy to answer our questions. They weren’t condescending and they wore masks, which was appreciated. I definitely suggest using this company and I plan on it again next year.

My recent experience with their tech was terrible, they sprayed pesticide near my food, spent 10 minutes negging me, and they never inform you of when they’re coming. After looking at what my parents are paying for the quarterly service, and given the quality of service, they’re way over charging. Absolutely would not recommend them.

Update as of 3/17/2020 - Our new technician, Tony, provided great service today and because of him we have decided to continue our service with HomeTeam and are updating our star rating from 3 to 5.(original review):Not impressed with the technician assigned, but they have returned a few times for follow up service.

I contacted Home Team by email over the weekend and got a call first thing Monday morning to schedule an appointment on Tuesday. They worked around my schedule and Derek came out today. He was prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. He scheduled a follow up for a day and time that was convenient for me. I have had Home Team for almost 3 years and am extremely pleased with the service. I rarely see any pests and on the couple of occasions that I have, they quickly addressed the issues.

Our tech Derrick is their star employee!!! He is super accommodating with our dogs and kids and schedule. I love that the company comes out if we have a bug issue in between our services at no charge. We have had our issues with the office and not getting our renewal notices and the only reason we have not went elsewhere is Derrick and the no charge policy of treatment in between services. We are unfortunately moving so will miss having him service our home😭

Ive been with Home Team for about seven years and have never had a problem. Coming from New York to Florida the pest problems are quite different. I live near an open wooded area, and youd think that Id be affected by a lot of pests but not at all. If by chance and its rare I come across something out of the ordinary all I do is call them and theyre here to fix it.Im very happy to have found them.

I had a big issue with ants getting in my house through every window and door. I was beyond frustrated and I could not even sleep at night. I have a 7 months old baby and I was living with the constant fear that ants would get in the crib. I called the and they came right away. Jonathan listened to all my concerns, assured me that he would get the problem fixed. He let me know and explained what he was doing and took care also of some nasty wasp nests around my house. He answered all of my question and he will follow up with me in few days ( the week mark from the first treatment). Technicians do their job very well. My only complaint is that I pay annually, but continuously get monthly invoices from their system which they dont seem too concerned to fix. the inconvenience of having to call the office every time is quite annoying and not customer centric.

Ive been a customer with Home Team for over a decade. Yesterday I was literally SAVED by the manager, Josh, and my technician, Adam. I have a severe phobia of frogs. Adam came to my home to dislodge a partially squashed frog that was preventing my sliding door from closing. I was hysterical and Adam was so kind and calm, and in my opinion so BRAVE. He not only dislodged the slimy broken frog, but he took time to clean the guts and mucus from my glass doors. They are the best frog wranglers in Orlando.

A little pricey but definitely worth it. Our Technician David does an excellent job and goes way beyond our expectations and any other technician we have had. As long as we keep the bugs away my wife is happy :-)
