Karen is the sole proprietor of Spa Touch, and as such, does not have a lot of nail technicians working for her. Therefore, Karen cannot book simultaneous appointments for multiple individuals, such as a group of bridesmaids.Instead, Karen is able to give you her undivided attention, totally focused on YOU, not rushing your service to get to the next person like the less expensive salons that run clients through like cattle, with technicians who rarely speak to you in English in a manner that develops a long term client-technician relationship.Karen provides extensive education on nail care specific to your needs, and is extremely attentive to cleanliness and safety to protect you as her valued client. She is highly skilled and keeps up with all the new education in her profession.Karen’s creative talents when it comes to nail art are unparalleled! It has been such fun to pick a different unique hand drawn design or foil design, etc, at each appointment.Karen’s demeanor is friendly, up front, humorous, and chatty. She is an absolute delight! I highly recommend Karen as your new preferred nail technician.

Wonderful!!! The music from the start was relaxing. She is also very customer friendly.Noticed from the start my knee brace and made sure nothing she did was hurting my knee which was absolutely amazing!The pedicure was so relaxing and amazing I loved it!!!Thanks again for a wonderful relaxing pedicure!

Best pedicure in town!!!Karen does great nails. My hour long pedicure started with a nice long soak while relaxing in her big, comfy chair. She had relaxing music and candles in the quiet atmosphere. She really took her time to exfoliate and ensure that she removed the dead skin, followed by cuticle care and polish. She is very meticulous, and professional. My only complaint is that the time went by too fast.

My first visit to Spa Touch was today. Karen is super knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I love the quiet atmosphere at her salon- no one talking loudly over clients to each other. She is very customer focused and aware of keeping things clean and hygienic. Just off of Edgewater Drive- you need to check this place out!

The worst gel manicure experience ever!!! Never had I had such a bad job. Highly highly disappointed!

She was very aggressive and borderline hateful to me during my gel manicure. I am a lifelong nail biter and she talked down on me for my habit the entire visit. I thought getting your nails done was supposed to be relaxing! It was a birthday gift, too. If youre a professional with 20 years experience, you should be in the business of educating and teaching your clients how to maintain healthy nails, not make them feel awful for even trying! Do not recommend.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I bought my grandmother a gift card from here with 4 services on it(nails, massages, and more). My grandmother forgot to use it right away since she is a little bit older she forgets things. She called to see if she could squeeze in visits to use the gift card that I already paid for and to ask detailed questions about the services. The owner began to chew her head off with my grandmothers first question. The owner started her response off with you people I assume referring to her clients/customers. You people should of came in sooner if you wanted to use the gift card. I dont know why you people wait till the last minute. My grandmother then said wow I thought this was supposed to be a relaxing day at the spa? Now all youre doing is yelling at me. The owner responded, It isnt a DAY at the spa, it is one service per visit! Youll have to make an appointment if you would like to come in, and I doubt Ill be able to get you an appointment before it expires. Maybe you shouldnt of waited so long. My grandmother said Well now Im not even sure I want your services, you arent being very nice. Then the owner said Well I have 20 years of experience so it is worth it, if I can even get you an appointment. I just do not understand why she felt the need to be so very rude. I wasted my money here because of the customer service from the owner, my grandmother did not get pampered since she felt so unwelcomed from one phone call.

Best mani/pedi! I have been an ongoing client of Karens for several years. She is very professional, uses quality products and does great work! The atmosphere in her cute little College Park bungalow is very inviting and relaxing. It is not your typical in/out salon you see on every corner, and you can tell the difference the moment you walk in. Karen has been doing nails for many years, and she provides a level of service and quality that is hard to find these days.
