This was my first time here and I am thoroughly disappointed. I came in asking for a gel refill and was quoted 35 bucks which is standard. They informed me that my nails were not gel but actually dip and had been swapped out without me knowing and to refill it would be $50 rather than $35. My nails being switched out on me is obviously not their fault; however, I asked them to explain the difference between gel and dip to me but I couldnt really understand what he was saying other than it was better. So I asked him to do gel, which is $15 cheaper, he agreed and put the gel on my nails. I noticed immediately that they did not look as good as what I was previously receiving but I was willing to take that with the price difference. When I got up to pay, however, they informed me the total was still $50 versus the $35, even though I got gel instead of dip. As you can see from the pictures, they do not look that great. The white is very uneven on several of my nails and they look bulky, some are also crooked. He was extremely rough and seemed to be in a hurry. He nicked the inside of my thumb which started to bleed and when he filed my nails, I felt as though he would peel the skin from my fingers. Additionally he only put one coat of gel on instead of the typical two, which I have never had a place do. Definitely not a place I will return to. Very disappointing for its location. I would recommend the nail shop right up the street instead.

Even though I was a walk-in, I was taken right away!Even though I only got the Baldwin Pedicure ($35), I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. Ana did an excellent job hitting every step along the way, so much so that I decided to do the manicure for an additional $10.WARNING: They only accept MasterCard/Visa it seems. No Discover :(

First and second time there was amazing. I broke a nail and went in to have it fixed and the man who did it rushed thru it and it came out chuncky. Will not be going back

What a treat this place was! I went with some fellow bridesmaids to get nails and toes done the day before a wedding and we had the best time.

First time going and last time going. Asked for an ombré set and got something totally different. Then the excuse was oh we don’t have that kind. After asking the man 3xs does he know how to do the ombré set. Also rushed through the whole process clipped my skin several times and made me bleed. Needless to say nails came out horrible went and got them redone some where else the very same day.

Gel mani lasts 3 weeks, clean and professional.

Baldwin Nails & Day Spa had a clean and inviting atmosphere. Everyone who was working was very polite and friendly. Vivian my technician was very detailed and professional. She listened to exactly what I wanted and provided great service. Highly recommend this establishment and I will gladly return.

Walked in to get an eyebrow wax and I have before and it’s been great! Just left sobbing, the lady DID NOT listen to me and waxed off all of my eyebrows and told me they needed to be fixed when I asked for a clean up. I will NEVER be back, it will take awhile for them to grow back.

I went to do my nails in this place because I have professional pictures and let me tell you they look worse. On top of it I paid $15 more than I usually pay in another place, plus tax. The Only good tech is LAINNY! If you don’t have appointment with her. Don’t waist your time.

Ok but pricy compared to other salons

The great reviews convinced me to come here and fix my nails up. I had gone to another location previously and they didnt do a good job. However, Quan at Baldwin Nails made sure to fix it all and left me with beautiful results! I am coming here from now on!

Lexie is amazing! She gave my 5 year old with curly hair the princess treatment. Lexie was patient, kind and so sweet to us. This salon is very lucky to have such skilled and personable staff member who made our visit so special and memorable. We cant say enough about her. If I can give more than 5 stars I would because thats how great she was.

Daniel gave me the best manicure I have ever had. I explained concerns that I had with my last manicure, and he talked me through the entire process so I could see every correction he made. He went over my nails multiple times until I was 100% happy. He was attentive, funny, and held great conversations. The price of the manicure was too low compared to the quality I recieved. This is the only place I will get my nails done, and I will definitely be requesting Daniel next time!

Came in for a manicure with SNS dip and a Saigon Spa pedicure with David yesterday! I couldn’t help but talk about how amazing of an experience I had. David was very sweet and made sure I got everything I wanted. They offered me drinks and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Not to mention they had such a huge collection of colors to choose from, I didn’t even know what color to get! Definitely coming back again!

First time walk-in appointment. The salon was busy and I was in a time crunch, but they were able to start my gel manicure right away! It turned out great and I will be coming back again.

I have been going to Baldwin nails for a few years. When I went this time, she yanked on my cuticles with such disregard that I bled. Not even a sorry! When I told the manager, he didnt say sorry either!!! My daughter was with me and had acrylics done. She has had them several times. This time they wouldnt do the lotion massage or cuticles because that is $5 dollars more!!!! She has always had that done so they lied! The manager didnt know what to say. I am horrified and will never go again!

Vincent did a phenomenal job with my gel manicure and Baldwin Pedicure. Clean and relaxing place! Great color selection. I don’t live in this area and will definitely be driving to this side of town for future services. Came here after being dissatisfied with my usual nail.

It was a very nice location & the set up inside the salon was clean & fancy. But in the end result not worth it. Five of my fingers around the cuticles were cut, had a tiny spots of dried blood on each one, they were sore the rest of that day. It’s been exactly a week & the tips of the acrylic nails are already falling off. Also during the appointment I asked for my nails to be longer & he said no too long(which they weren’t, I just don’t like them blunt) at that point I should have just walked out because if I am the paying customer, I am sure I should get what I asked for.

Overall it’s okay. Lynny is really the only person to go to there. If you don’t get her, then dont bother going. They are all pressured to rush through the service. Could be cleaner. Old colors, they need need fresh new colors. Dip powders aren’t that good either. Definitely a place that’s about quantity not quality.

Ive been a long time customer. But not anymore. I went in last night, 1 hour before they closed for a mani/pedi and the front desk receptionist was rude, dismissive and combative. He said to come back 30 minutes later, which was fine. Then he talked to techs in Vietnamese and decided they were closed. SO rude to me. Never again! Years of business you had. But lost.

Be careful of what they charge you. They will try to cheat you! I called the night before and asked how much a BASIC pedicure and gel manicure would be. I was told $55 all together. The next day when im sitting in the chair, the manicurist tried to upsell me on a more expensive pedicure. I told him THREE times that I only wanted the basic pedicure. After it was all said and done and I went to pay he charged me $65. When I asked why he told me it was because of the pedicure. I was very upset that he disregarded what I had asked for and then went ahead and did a more expensive pedicure WITHOUT my approval. Once the manager came up they honored the price of $55, but they blamed the mistake on me, despite me clarifying THREE times I wanted the basic pedicure. I wont be going back to a place that tries to bully you into paying more.

After many attempts at getting cool looking nails they fail every time. I couldnt even get a simple ombré done on my nails with out them messing up and then telling me They can’t do it and then instead of fixing them or removing the messed up nail ombre they paint over it with black nail polish and leaving it very lumpy. I’ve tried this place 5 times, I should of stopped after the first time. Wasted my money and time. For the nail techs here: Do not promise something if you cannot do it. Also I’ve had on every one of those times I’ve came to get my nails done my skin around my nail cut and bleed. They are very ruff and when you try and say it hurt they will give you a roll of the eye and then go to talking between each other. I suggest going to flex-I nail spa they are wonderful and tell you up front if they can or can’t do something. Learn from my mistakes.

Ive been here twice for a manicure with regular nail polish. Im quite satisfied, the staff are nice, I havent had to wait more than 5 minutes with no appointment. Im very impressed with how long the manicure stays un-chipped. It lasts over a week with no chips. The price isnt expensive, $15. Which is pretty much the price anywhere local to me. Ill definitely be a regular customer, since I can walk here from my house.

I only got my nails filled and eye brows waxed and paid $50 way overpriced. When I called back after I paid and asked about the prices they quoted $35. I got ripped off by the manicurist. The place in the back smells like moth balls. Would not go back very dirty place. The choices for nail polishes are old so you have no other choice then to get gel nail polish. Caution don’t think because you’re in Baldwin Park it’s clean and getting quality service you’re not. Very disappointed I’m wondering if they are legally licensed. I don’t mind paying for real quality I don’t appreciate being scammed!

The front desk gentleman was uncomfortably rude. He estimated a waiting time of 10 minute, I sat and waited for close to 20 minutes, he approached me with some nail colors and as he did, I asked if he knew how much longer. He said “if you’re in a rush, you can come back” in a rude tone, the nail tech next to him laughed and they spoke in their language. I said, is ok I’ll wait, it was just a question. As I sat there, however, I thought -yes I could come back or I could also go somewhere else. I stood up and returned the colors to him and told him he did not need to be rude, as all I did was ask a question. He just gave me a dirty look as I left. No professionalism

I came in they seated me in a chair to soak. I sat there for 20 minutes while they waited on other before me. When I got up to leave no one said a word as I told them in was leaving becsuse of the poor custom service .

Baldwin Nail & Day Spa is the only place I can truly relax and have a phenomenal mani and pedi. The facility is clean and tranquil, you receive a beverage option and the staff is exceptional. Ive tried a few places throughout Orlando, but have stayed true to Baldwin Nail & Day Spa for a year. Trust me, once you try this place, you will never go anywhere else.

This is my second time getting my nails done here, gel mani and “Baldwin” pedi. About $65 but my nails look amazing, great massages and some wine. No bubbles or chips. Will be going back

Gave it a shot. My nail tech appeared to be lost half the time and could not remember which nail she would do. My nails are bulky and egg shaped. Sadly won’t be returning. $80.00 dollars for a manicure and pedicure, not worth it.

They could do the acrylics/fake nails a little bit better like add more glue, and definitely better chairs u can tell they are kinda old but they still work fine

Came in at 7pm to get ONE NAIL fixed that broke. They had me stand there for 5 minutes to then tell me they were closed. They had the open sign on and the door and website say they close at 8pm. The man laughed at me at said Nope, closed. Youre telling me they couldnt fix one nail that would literally take 5 minutes? Horrible service. I have gone there many times and will not return.

Literally every time I go here, its painful. Rough massages on my feet and hands, picking my cuticles until they bleed, scrubbing my feet and legs so hard they sting. Why so rough?? Im not a tender, sensitive person OR someone who writes a ton of bad reviews complaining about places either. But, for the money, the technicians here need to slow down and do things a bit more gently.

Overly charged place! Got a filling for $15 the first time. Went again the second time for a fill and charged me $25. Said it’s an additional $10 for cut and shape when my nails were already that shape and of course I did a VERY minor cut. They proceeded to argue with me stating “it is policy”.

Although the services are performed well, the workers are misleading about the pricing. What they tell you in the chair is not what they ring you up for.

Service seems to be going down hill. They did not offer water this time. One nail trimmed too short. One nail still has a ridge that catches.

Doesn’t say anywhere that they don’t accept American Express. Over priced.
