I had the unfortunate experience of leaving my pet rabbit when I went to work, to come home and find she passed away while I was gone. My little girl was a great comfort to me during a rough time in my life, and I couldnt stand the thought of throwing her away in a trashcan. I live in an apartment so a burial wasnt an option either. Thankfully, I searched online and found that Terry had great reviews. I called and he patiently helped me despite my emotional state. When I brought her in he treated her with respect and empathy and walked me through the process of cremation and whether I wanted to keep her ashes. I personally did not, I wanted her scattered since that reflected her rambunctious nature and I didnt want her stuck inside forever and he provided that for me as well. He even allowed me to spend time to grieve over her even though I got in after hours. My fur baby Happy passed away from cancer after being my faithful companion for 16 years. I wanted him treated gently and with dignity, so I really wanted to utilize a local, small business. If I went through the vet, it would be a week or more before I would be able to bring my baby home. Terry was able to fit me in same day. He was very kind and gentle with me and handling my pet. He took the time to explain the process and options. When I returned to pick up my pet, he had everything ready and even included a sweet poem with my Happys paw print stamped on the back. For the first time creating a pet this was the best place to do so for our 11 year old goldfish who got sick and passed unexpectedly. After reading all the reviews and being one of the only places mentioned that would cremate small animals including fish, it was a good experience for a sad day. Terry was extremely kind and helpful with explaining the process and being understanding of how important our fish is to us (and the little kitten Sweetie also helped to cheer up the mood!) Sadly on September 16 2021 my Willow passed away. She was a beautifulpapi-poo and was with us for almost 13 years. Its my husband and 2 sons and she was the baby girl to us all. Terry as soon as we spoke on the phone had the most gentle and comforting voice. As if he felt my pain. He waited until my husband came out late from work and accommodated us in late evening. He is kind and took gentle care of my Willow as he took her in his arms and kept reassuring us that he would take gentle care of her. He shook my hand with a firm hand holding both of mine with his two hands while telling me I will be gentle with her as if she were my own. I left her there feeling light and able to breathe. He held the cloths folded that she was wrapped in, for us. We got her back that same night so that we won’t have to be parted from her to long. He was very detailed with the process and he only does private cremations. Only your baby gets cremated alone. Other places put other peoples pets to cremate together and make you wait weeks to receive your loved one by mail. If ever and hopefully not in a very long while that I needed these services again I will only come back to Mr. Terry and his adorable kitty in his office. Terry at Pine Castle Pet Cremation Services was a positive note on a very sad day. On giving him a call late in the day when my dog passed away he made arrangements to accept my beloved pet that night so she could be cremated the next day. He was compassionate and very informative of the process, and we were assured on meeting him that she would be in great and caring hands. He even gave us a few final private minutes with her before we left. She was ready to pick up the next evening and he even made arrangements again so that we could pick her up later in the evening. I came to get my hamster cotton ball cremated and terry did amazing but he did show me a photo of cotton ball being cremated (she was on fire in the picture) it really has tore me up and I can’t get the image out of my head. While he did good work the customer service could use some improvement

Pine Castle Pet Cremation Services truly lived up to their reviews! I called Mr. Terry first thing in the morning after having found our cat had passed away. He asked me to just give him a heads up as to when I’d be there and he’d do the cremation right away so that we don’t have to make several trips back. The location is a little sketch, but Terry has such a kind heart and was very accommodating that it didn’t even matter. We were able to take home our sweet cat’s ashes the same day, and he even saved clippings of her hair and whiskers for us along with a footprint. My 15 year old Chinchilla, Akki, passed away 1/23/21 and I called several different crematory in the Orlando area; however, I chose to stick with this one. Out of all of them, this one shown how compassion and care for our little fur angel. Took care of him as if he was one of their own. While as other places seemed to only care about money. I also love how one of the first things they told me was that each cremation is a private cremation. Which I absolutely loved. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend and would do service with them again.

It took me forever to finally write a review, Ive been dealing with the loss of Basil my 4 year old cockatiel. Her death on March 26 was sudden so of course I showed up crying, looking like a mess despite that Terry was still super nice and compassionate. I gave him a Polaroid picture of me and my baby to put on the box which he did perfectly, the box itself is really good quality too. He was telling me how its hard for bird owners to find places that cremate birds because of how tiny they are and most places dont carry the proper equipment like he does. So bird owners definitely come here if you want your angels to be treated with care. Terry even gave me the I missed you poem with her claw print on the back (its not going to come out perfect since their feet are small and the poem applies to dogs/cats but its the thought that counts) he even plucked some of her feathers off for me which made me cry in the beginning because a piece of her skin was on the big bunch of feathers but I appreciate the gesture now since i have more things to remember her by. Hopefully I dont have to be back anytime soon but if I do I wouldnt mind getting to see terry and his kitty cat again. Thank you Terry, now Basil is always by my side at home.

After finding out our cat had terminal cancer last week, I was faced with the daunting, heartbreaking task of gathering information on pet cremation. I called Pine Castle Pet Cremation based on glowing reviews. It was after 5, and I figured Id be leaving a voicemail on an answering machine. Instead Terry, the owner, answered, and stepped out of a store he was shopping in to give me his undivided attention. He was so kind and answered all my questions with compassion. When our cat passed abruptly and unexpectedly just 2 days later (Friday night), I called back to make arrangements and Terry had someone meet us immediately, at about 8:30 pm, so we could deliver our pet and begin the process. It was such a relief as we were distraught and didnt know what to do. He lovingly returned our cats ashes to us Monday evening, and even gave us some trimmed fur and a sweet card with our cats paw print. I cant begin to recommend Pine Castle Pet Cremation enough! Respectful, caring and compassionate. Every cremation he does is a private one, for a very fair price. Ive heard horror stories of other places doing group cremations after promising and charging high prices for a private cremation, and then dividing all of the ashes and returning these commingled ashes back to the pet owners. You are paying him to give you an individual cremation services that allows you to reclaim your pets remains pure and not mixed with other customers animals. There are services in this town that cremate multiple animals at one time and will hand you back mixed remains. Please dont think because your vet uses them that they dont do this, because some do. Terry respects his customers and their deceased pets and it is evident when you speak/meet him. After my experience with him, I will not even consider anyone else for something this important. I never thought I would need this service. I had an outdoor cat named Princess Isabella. She still went home to her family sometimes but she lived inside my home and on my porch for the majority of her time. She was a fierce free spirit who regularly tore out my window units if we tried to force her to stay inside more than she wished. On Sunday 1/10/2021, I was on my porch holding and petting her when 2 dogs rushed into my yard and tore her from my hands. She did not make it. That is were Pine Castle Cremation Service came in. It was a weekend and we didnt expect to get an answer but we did. We arranged drop off right away (after animal services were called and the complaints filed) They were very understanding that we would need two of everything as both families that that loved her wanted her to be with them. They did exactly that. We recieved our beautiful kitty in two urns. Terry gave us each a bag of her fur and her paw prints as well as the cremation certificate. Terry truly understands that our pets are members of our family and treats each one as such. I couldnt be more grateful for Terry and Jay in this time of great sorrow. Until I searched on Google and found Mr. Terry who was wonderful and took care of our Maxx like if he was one of his own. Mr. Terry showed us his love and respect for animals. Which we truly appreciated and put our minds to ease. We would never want to go down this path but when life says it’s time, I would not chose any one else. I needed a pet crematorium that was open on the weekend to take my dog that had passed on a Saturday. Terry and Jay were extremely helpful, thoughtful, caring and compassionate. The rates are very reasonable, and I highly recommend them for their courtesy, communication skills, and professionalism. Terry was amazing! I cant say enough about how nice and sweet he was! He was very helpful and sensitive to me just loosing my beloved pet. I drove over an hour and he cremated my beloved Copper right then so I didnt have to drive back to get him. It meant the world to me that I could take him home with me the same day. He cut some of his fur and inked his paw print. I almost lost it when he showed them to me. I never thought to ask for them but extremely thankful that he did that! I will cherish them. There is nothing fancy about the place, which to me made it feel more personal. I knew he was going to take care of my baby and I was going to get only my baby back. I dont know how much a pet cremation should cost but I though it was very reasonably price, not that the price was important.

5 stars truly aren’t enough to rate how amazing Terry is! My yorkie, Muffy, passed away before dawn Sunday 2/28/2021. I called local pet stores to get a referral for cremation services and they only suggested vets. I googled pet cremation and I’m thankful Terry was the first person I called! He was amazing and most definitely a God send for me at that time. He told me that he had another family at that moment but he could take care of me in an hour. When I arrived I was clearly very emotional but his genuine kindness and empathy was soothing to me. He was able to make me smile as well as give me time alone to grieve before I left. My dog had previously been owned by my friends mother so I asked if he could split the ashes so I could give her some. Not only did he split them, he gave her a poem with a paw print, baggie with hair and a certificate of cremation, just as he had done for me. He assured me that my Muffy’s cremation was private which he acknowledged isn’t always the case in the industry. He followed this up by sending me some videos that made me smile and included kind messages in each. He even sent a sympathy card to my home as well which I didn’t expect. I would refer his services 10 times out of 10. Thank you Terry, you are a wonderful man and provide amazing service!

I cannot be more grateful to have found this place. Losing my baby girl after 15 years was absolutely heartbreaking. I came in here sobbing and Mr. Terry was so caring, patient and compassionate. Terry was wonderful and went above and beyond for our family. My fiancées long time family pet, Doyle, unfortunately passed away in his sleep over the weekend. The whole family was devastated, he was so beloved. My mother in law had buried him right away, until she and my fiancée decided that it was better to have him cremated. I had called around for pet cremation services but came to find out that most places did NOT accept pets that had been exhumed! We were frantic to find a place until Terry answered our call and his reassurance and understanding meant the world to our family! We made an appointment that day and within 24 hours, he was returned to us with so much care and respect as though it was one of us to have done it. He even set aside his collar we had forgotten in our point of grief to take off, also saved snippets of his beloved golden fur. He was so kind to us, It was a much needed respite to find someone that took our grief with that much care, it made this horrible experience just a little more bearable. This was the first time Ive ever lost a pet and I wanted to find the best service to give by baby and I wouldnt recommend any other place. Terry was so kind and understanding, he serviced us quickly and communicated with us perfectly. He explained everything to us and took great care of our baby. Terry is also open to cremate almost any animal you can think of, even fish, and treats the pets as his own. He genuinely cares more about the pet and their treatment than the money unlike many other places you will find. If you live anywhere in central florida this is the perfect place for your pet. Absolutely amazing.

This is the best place to have your pet cremated. Terry is such a kind and compassionate person!!! Unlike most places, it is one day service, usually only 2-3 hours, and you can wait if you want. And if you want to, he allows you to put your pet in the unit, and watch as door is closed and turned on. This insures you’re getting a truly private cremation. And before final processing, I like to pick out a couple of bone fragments. This may seem morbid, but it brings me comfort. Prices are very reasonable. I’d never take my pet to anyone else. He’s just a wonderful man who provides A+ service!

Terry provided our family with top notch customer service when our cat passed. She passed in the late afternoon on a Saturday when most businesses are already closed. I called at 8:37pm expecting to get a voicemail as I did with the local pet crematory, but was pleasantly surprised when Terry answered my call. When you are grieving over the loss of a pet the last thing you want to do is leave a message and wait for a call back. Terry not only answered my call but walked me through what steps to take next to preserve our cat before cremation. He was so kind to squeeze us in the very next day. We were able to receive her ashes the same day of cremation which allowed our family the closure we needed & saved us an extra trip. As far as urns go, I highly recommend the picture frame urn Terry designed himself 20 years ago. It is obvious Terry genuinely cares about his customers and I will Recommend him to everyone I know. Roughly 3 months ago I called Terry after my Pittie unexpectedly passed away. He was so super friendly and helped make our loss easier. Just this week we had to put our Husky down which we knew wed come back to him. And as usual, he was amazing. I recommend Pine Castle to anyone that suffers the loss of their loved fur babies.

When we found our hamster Meatball dead, this was the reaction we immediately felt. We debated burying him but the fact that we live in an condominium complex made that option nearly impossible. All it took was one Google search and we had found the place: Pine Castle Pet Crematory. Scores of rave online reviews led us there and upon calling Pine Castle the next day I was introduced to Terry McGlashan, the kind, sincere, and extremely professional owner and operator or the crematorium. Terry was extremely understanding of the grief we felt for our beloved pet and knows the gravity any pet owner feels when their family member dies, regardless of the size or species. We missed our initial appointment for Meatball and had to reschedule until later in the day but Terry stayed open late for us, having to miss his trip to the post office just so he could help us out. Terry is one of the finest gentlemen I have had the opportunity to meet and was more than happy to indulge any request. Upon completing the initial paperwork he offered us a fine selection of urns which we declined as they were mostly too large to justify housing a small hamsters remains. He instead supplied us with a free temporary urn to use in the meantime. Terry offered us to stay in his office while the cremation took place or, if we felt more comfortable, to step out while the process took place. We decided to step out for a while and Terry offered us a list of local restaurants to visit while we waited. Upon returning, Terry was just finishing up and beckoned us his office where we were presented with a plastic baggie containing some of Meatballs fur as a special gift so we would always have a tangible piece of our furry friend to cherish forever. He also gave us a professionally notarized letter bearing his signature with a certification of cremation in an envelope complete with the seal of the crematorium. Terry also explained to us why cremation is the best way to take care of a deceased pet. He detailed how he was able to take the bodies of two exhumed dogs who had been best friends and join their ashes in a single urn for a grieving owner who had burial remorse. All this just added to the outstanding service we experienced with Terry and the Pine Castle Pet Crematory. I ensured him I would repay him for his kindness in leaving a review befitting the job he had done for my family and I. I cannot express enough the level of respect and admiration I have for Mr. McGlashan and the business he provides at Pine Castle Pet Crematory. My hamster just passed away last week and I knew I wanted her to be cremated. I called a few places to make sure that she would be cremated on her own and what kind of pricing I was looking at. When it comes to loosing a fur baby to me, its like loosing a family member. The heartbreak, emptiness and sadness is overwhelming to say the least. I met Terry 7 years ago when I had to put my first pet Kobe down after 16 years. He was gentle, kind, compassionate caring and most of all, made me feel completely comfortable he would take care of him as if he were his own. On Saturday afternoon Winston, our family cat of 20 plus years peacefully passed into our memories forever. The grieving process started and so did our resolve for taking care of Winston’s remains. We needed Terrys personal service to overcome our grief and Terry fulfilled our wishes fully, professionally, and respectfully. We highly recommend this service to all pet owners.

We lost our pitbull Zoey on 7/11. It was a Saturday afternoon. I was so distraught I had no idea what to do. I searched for pet cremations and Pine Castle appeared with high reviews. Being a Saturday I was skeptical if they would be there. Terry answered the phone and answered all of my questions. He was flexible, compassionate and very understanding. This was my first time having to cremate an animal, my parents never did. But as an adult, I felt like I needed to do this for myself. My fiancé and I have a little fur baby filled family. A dog, 2 cats, a bunny and a hamster. Unfortunately, our hamster passed away early this morning. She was the first animal that he and I adopted together as a couple. So she means a lot to us. Terry was very sweet and genuine. I loved his energy and how compassionate he was. I was very hesitant on cremation because I felt like most clinics probably didn’t care that much and it was most likely just all about how much money they could get out of poor grieving pet owners, but Terry truly treated her like it were his own, and I am very grateful for that. The process took about an hour in total, and I got my baby’s ashes back the same day, literally an hour after, whereas other places it would have taken days to get back... I very much appreciated his kindness. From here on out he will definitely have my services when my other fur babies time comes. But hopefully not any time soon.

I have a dog who gave birth to a liter of 5, but now there’s only 4. A special one named Ollie that I loved the most out of the liter.. he was actually the one I was planning to keep but unfortunately he didn’t make it. when Me and my husband gave Terence a call I was glad to hear In his voice that he actually cared about our lil baby’s death.
