SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!! This by far is the WORST CAR RENTAL PLACE!!! They up charge you like crazy…it’s sad because you book online thinking you got the best deal in Orlando to pay double for what you booked for. The staff is extremely disrespectful as well. They are very passive and almost make it impossible to go elsewhere. My car rental was suppose to be $109 and I end up paying $287 with all of their extra fees. Which took away extra funds to go towards my trip. Also this rental place isn’t located at the airport. The shuttle driver moves really fast so this is both good and bad. This car rental place is a SCAM!!!

I have learned my lesson on shopping for a deal when renting a car. This car rental place was on Expedia. Not once did it show this companies specific website. If I would have booked directly through their website, I would have never have been “suckered” into dealing with this rental company.For starters, they only accept eight car insurance companies. I don’t know the reason behind this, but I could only recognize two of them. So, this meant I was forced to either purchase their ridiculously expensive full coverage insurance for the car, or just go somewhere else by cab to find another rental car.Furthermore, the shuttle to pick you up from the airport didn’t have AC in the back. Despite COVID-19, we were also forced to pack into the transport van like a circus car preparing for the clown portion of the act. Did I mention there was no AC in the Florida heat?Next, after paying the fees, ridiculously over priced insurance, and dealing with the not friendly/unhelpful staff, I left in a beat up/scratched Toyota Corolla for 321$ for a 5 day rental. If you’re thinking that’s not too bad, enterprise at the airport had the same length rental in an SUV for 271$ tax and fees included.Needless to say, just bite the bullet and get the car at the airport. I had a horrible start to me family vacation all because of this rental car place!

I only wrote this good review because Andrea said she’d upgrade us free of charge if we did so. Besides the long wait, they were good. I should’ve known something was up because the man before us was arguing with the employee. The car we got was damaged like you couldn’t alter the seat. They’re making my mom wait 30 days for her $150 deposit. They’re also saying that she kept the car in the parking garage for 4 days which she didn’t. We barely had it in there for a night. Anyway, I definitely don’t recommend them. They’re cheap for a reason.

Our experience with NextCar was good. The price was right and we don’t have much to complain about. We didn’t really know what to expect since at first we thought the rental service was going to be at the airport. It turned out that it wasn’t and we had a hard time figuring out where we needed to go to get our car. Once we figured that out, we waited at the shuttle stop like 20-25 minutes. We called NextCar and after about three tries we were able to talk with someone to make sure someone was indeed going to come pick us up. The shuttle was a little dirty but nothing to be too concerned about. The driver was very amicable and our ride was pleasant. Once we got to the rental everything was smooth sailing. Laura was very nice, she took good care of us and answered all our questions. I do want to say though that getting the toll sunset pass wasn’t necessary for what we used the car for. We barely passed any tolls. All in all it wasn’t a bad experience, I will update this once we return the rental back. In any event, we were very pleased with both Laura and NextCar.Oliver was good at doing our review of our car. 84610

Decent friendly service. Just make sure you take a picture of the whole vehicle. When we return the vehicle the gentleman tried to let us know that there was a door dent. We had footage prior to the rental that indicated that was a preexisting damage. Had we not taken pictures as well we would have been responsible for damage we never did.

Good customer service, the treatment was very professional, very friendly with all the people who were attended in my presence. They answered all my questions and all the information they provided was very clear and accurate. The waiting time was reasonable. The agent who attended me was Paul # 91207 and I thank him for the good service and the good treatment he gave me. The man who gave me the car, I do not remember his name (Alejandro ?? “Maybe”) but he was also very professional and very fast in his service, he also gave me some information on where I could find all the car documentation. I loved doing business with this company, which I will recommend to my family and friends and I will keep Next Car, as my first option when I need another reservation. Thanks for the best prices and good service!!

Bait and switch. When something seems too good to be true it usually is. While waiting on line to pick up my rental that I already paid for, all 5 customers ahead of me had issues with their reservations. I was told that because I was late due to delayed flight, they did not have a car in the same class/size that I reserved. I did call ahead and tell them of delay and they said they would have a car for me. They neglected to tell me that it would be an additional $267.65. I did call their customer service line and was told there was nothing they could do. There were 2 other families that were not so lucky and did not get cars at all. Do yourself a favor and go for a few extra bucks with a nationally known chain.

My experience with this car rental place has been nothing but a scam from the beginning. Picking up the car the price online was $344 for a weeks stay only for me to end up having to pay $588 on top of a $250 deposit. I called the day before I leave to ask drop off instructions because I would be leaving early in the morning. I received a text messages of these instructions, Hello Ms Turner, these are the instructions :1: Please leave the vehicle at the parking lot of the office.2: leave the keys under the drivers mat and leave the car opened.3: take 360° pictures of the vehicle and a picture of the dashboard.4: send the pictures to this same number.Hope you have a good day!Once I got here the gate was locked. I called the number that was given to me with no answer as well as the land line which I was on hold for 3hrs waiting to speak with a representative. The operator stated their was 1 person in front of me. I missed my flight home and had to pay for another flight home. Do not rent from this place ever.

RIP OFF! WORST rental car experience ever.We searched at the airport got them going all around about up and down the stairs, asking for directions and finally realized they were off site. It was not clear and no one we asked knew their facility was not at the airport. We checked the email, reservation and website several times and finally had to call to find out how to get our rental.We waited for an extended time fir the shuttle to arrive. The shuttle vehicle from the airport to their facility was FILTHY.At our arrival to their facility, we waited fir 45 minutes to get to the desk. The company REQUIRED we purchase THEIR $300,000 insurance policy which cost us additionally. This information WAS NOT REVEALED until we arrived to pick up the car, away from the airport where we would then be left without transportation if we refused the rental. Our original quote was total $172 but with the insurance requirement we paid $450 for a 4 day rental. It looked cheaper at the onset, but cost more than others.Everything about this place was shoddy. Unkempt building, broken up parking lot, dented shuttles and building. There was no restroom available and we were waiting for over an hour prior to being helped. The employees were non-challant bordering on rude. The shuttle driver was especially ill mannered.We will NEVER rent from this company again and I hope this review saves you from having the same experience.

Terrible service. Said she would refund me and never did. When she stated that, she didn’t give me any information other than that and just said goodbye. Literally a 30 second conversation. Did not help me at all and I was almost stranded at the airport because of this. I called the mainline and they denied my refund even though it was promised to me. Never told me to bring a credit card and refused my method of payment.

The aces are decent priced online, but a ton of hidden fees. And they try to trick you on things like a toll fee. Be warned that they will tell you it’s 20 a week but they will absolutely “forget” to tell you about the activation fees. I was one of 3 people dropping off their cars figuring out that information had not been passed down. And they will not refund… even the woman that had paid 30 minutes before.Edit after their response: I am aware that tolls were an extra charge. I was aware of the $20 for the week. I was not aware of the $80 startup fee so that you can use the $20 on the card. I asked multiple times if it was just the $20 and was told yes. I think you offer incentive for your employees to sell the package so they choose to skip that extra information.

I would never recommend renting from this place. First, we waited at the airport for the shuttle for about an hour. I tried three different phone numbers before I finally contacted someone that told us the shuttle driver would be there soon. The shuttle took about 20 minutes to get us to the rental location in a dumpy part of town. When we got there, they charged us extra because we had our own rental car insurance, in case they had to make a claim against our insurance. And they told us that we needed a toll road pass, which was an additional charge per day. We didnt need the pass. And we ended up paying almost twice what we expected to pay.Every other customer there was frustrated at the customer service for their own reasons. One customer said they were forcing her to pay for a toll road pass even though she had her own. Some left without their rental, stuck with finding a different one at the last minute. Another one told us to take lots of pictures of the car before we drove away.Ill be sure to read reviews on my own before booking on Expedia again.

This was the WORST car rental experience I’ve ever had! After our flight arrived 2 hours late, due to weather, we were excited to start our vacation. After waiting 20 min for the rental car shuttle, my husband called the location. He was instructed it would be 15 min. 30 min later and still no shuttle, he called back. They said the van was on the way. 25 min later, the van still did not arrive. Another phone call, another promise of a pick up. Finally, the van arrives. The driver informs us, he just started his shift. Upon arriving at the facility, Maria starts the reservation. I asked her why it took an hour and a half to get picked up and she informed me, it was raining. Why would rain delay a pickup? While processing, she took twice as long as the person next to me. After asking to speak to a manager, she informed me there was not one and another associate, Gilbert, joined in the conversation (as the person he was waiting on was just as upset with the delayed pickup.) We had reserved a mini van and while Yuri, the manager, was not on site, Gilbert offered us a hybrid minivan as an upgrade and stated he was going to waive the cancellation fee since we arrived later than our reservation. (Remind you, our flight was delayed due to storms—while in the air, so no way to notify then of our late arrival.) WHAT? Cancellation fee when we prepaid? And no where was this cancellation fee on the website. Yes, we arrived late, but we prepaid our car and would’ve been there sooner had they picked us up on time. Oh, did I mention the “hybrid upgrade” battery was not charged? No discount, no upgrade and no customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

SCAM!!! BEWARE! They have FAKE 5 star reviews. If you do a quick read you can tell right away. If you book online, they won’t let you know about all the extra fees they charge until you get there. It’s a sketchy business and the purposely do this so when you get there, you feel like you don’t have a choice. I watched as they decline someone’s insurance and force them to pay a 600$ coverage. Also, they try to scare you to getting their tolls. I had to ask three times to clear oft that if I pay the tolls in cash, then I don’t invite their “25$ charge” per toll used. Hopefully someone planning to use them, especially someone from another country, googles them and read the reviews. It’s not worth booking with this sketchy company to try to save a few bucks when at the end, it actually costs more.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Do NOT use this company unless you want to pay triple the amount you planned on paying after all the their HIDDEN fees they don’t tell you about!!!! I booked them online through Expedia with my flights thinking it’d be easy with my family of 6 but it was a complete nightmare!!! Spent 2 hours at their office, they had scheduled our car pickup at 6 am knowing our flight didn’t even get into Orlando until 4:30 pm so they had rented out our reserved car and conveniently only had the expensive one left, no car seats left and we had 2 toddlers traveling with us, but the extra hidden fees were the most infuriating part about the entire thing!!!! The staff is so RUDE and extremely unprofessional!!! Not helpful at all, only out to steal your money and ruin your vacation!!! Do not fall for this SCAM!!!

If I could give half a star I would. Avoid this rental car company. The staff could hardly speak English, I had to ask multiple times to repeat herself so I could hear how much each item was. Confirming I was only getting charged what I thought I would be getting charged. Dont waste your money on the sunpass they try to talk you into purchasing. The process to get a vehicle took about 40 minutes. Listen to other peoples reviews and avoid this company. You wont be paying what you see online. I will be keeping an eye on my debit and credit card statements to make sure I dont get charged for anything additional. Also other rental companies allow debit cards for the purchase, this one does not, so make sure you have a credit card. Also had to change my insurance policy from $100k bodily injured to $300k bodily injured for whatever reason. So that was an additional unnecessary step.

I wouldnt give a single star if I could. All 4 cars had some sort of mechanical damage or visible damage. 2 of 4 rentals tried within 1 hour shook before we hit 40mph. Not to mention the interior of the vehicle wasnt clean. The windshield appeared to be washed with oil or something as a white haze obstructed the view. Angela was empathic and tried to resolve the problem, but each car was literally an immediate drive around the building handoff to the next customer. We wondered why so many families are waiting outside irate. Now we are awaiting if our money will be refunded.

Overall: Excuses by owner are making it even worse! They are stilling your money and make you kind of sorry for them. Shame, big shame. It is not a trustworthy business!!! Most terrible experience with a car rental.1. Dirty cars, have got clean one after two very dirty. First one was literally not cleaned after previous renters. Trash only was out. Second was kind off so-so cleaned. But, worst you may rent - some childrens or adults were vomiting on the back seat while previous renters used it. It was slightly cleaned after, a bit wet. Third car was ok.2. Absolutely not respectful staff.3. Be ready for a price rising exponentially. They will push you buy their stupid services.4. They will take deposit and you will never get it back. We did not use tolls, it was no any damage of vehicle or something else they could hold deposit for. Tank was full on return.5. They are not answer your phone calls, they are most terrible business I ever seen here in USA.Only good thing - a shuttle drivers were good.Its SCAM, stay away from them. Use their services, if you want some bad and ugly memories about your next Florida visit.

When he arrived he then told my family he had to take care of the clients first. If that was the case he should have told me to go ahead without them. 45 minute wait at the airport for the shuttle.2 people working the counter. Quoted $55 for 4 days, ended up over $200.They let people come in and ask them questions instead of focusing on one customer at a time.Another 45 minute wait for the car to get around the building. I was super skeptical after reading the reviews for this place, but I carefully read all of their policies and terms/agreements before we landed at MCO. The shuttle wasn’t a bad wait at all and the drivers were polite and helpful both at pick up and drop off. The customer service at the counter left something to be desired, but they weren’t terrible. I had my insurance cards printed and just had to show we had comprehensive. The guy didn’t try to hard sell me anything, but did warn me about the toll charges if I declined the daily charge. I had ready about that beforehand so I was comfortable signing the paper stating I understood I would be charged a hefty fee if I went through any tolls. We brought change to pay cash if we got on a toll roads by accident, but you can route Google maps to avoid tolls, so it wasn’t an issue and didn’t take that much longer to get to our WDW hotel. We did have to wait around 30 mins for them to drive up the vehicle and it had a stale smoke smell, but other than that it was fine. Again, at return the guy who helped us left something to be desired with customer service and friendliness, but so far we have not had any crazy charges and paid what we were expecting from booking via direct from the website (I checked directly after getting some quotes from 3rd party sites like Priceline). The $200 deposit hold should drop off in a couple days, but I’ll follow up if we have issues. I would rent from here again as we did save a lot of money and the rental was just fine.

I am currently without my car due to engine problems. To get around, I had to rent a car. I stopped at NEXTCAR due to two critical things that I look for when renting a car. That is price and excellent customer service. Without these two things, I am out the door. The price was unmatchable (I did shop around)and Paul (the person that took outstanding care of me) was on point with his customer service. He was friendly, patient, and efficient. Whoever is reading this, review. On a profound level, this is the place, and Paul is the person to go to. I will be ONLY using them. Thank you, Paul, for everything.

I think this is mostly a scam. However, if you’re really careful you can save some money. But it is really worth the extra hassle? Maybe, maybe not. Be careful with the insurance. You need to have tour declaration page available and also use a certain insurance company (I think) for them to allow you to use your car insurance instead of theirs. I use Progressive and they accepted that. Also be very careful on the toll tag thing. They can really gauge you on that. Finally, it’s going to be slow (getting to the office via shuttle, doing the check in, getting the car, turning it in, etc) compared to your mainstream rental agencies. But your saving money. So…proceed with caution is my advice.

This rental place was awful! We waited 40 mins at the airport for the shuttle that never came til after we called to ask them to come. When we finally got there we were told they canceled our reservations and had no cars for us! There were several other customers who had the same experience. We ended up having having go to another car rental place! We got this rental through Priceline. Never again!!

I got there, and everything was different than the booking information online. The location is NOT at the airport as advertised. I was charged double. Then asked if I wanted to add toll fees, I said no, just to find out there was already a pass on the vehicle and toll booths wouldn’t let me pay cash. Not to mention I’m STILL waiting for my security deposit back after more than 2 weeks!!!!! Never will I use this company again for my car rental needs in Orlando!

The car was not cleaned . Had cigars in the console.,water bottles under seat, looked like they just put down the plastic cover on steering wheel for cleaning. Over charged for the toll pass . Most places it is 9.95 they charge 14.95. When you call for pick up from airport, the recording says to go to door 11,12,or 13 and they come every 15 to 20 minutes. We waited 30 minutes then called. They clearly were not running the shuttle unless you called. After extra charges you could probably rent for the same price at airport on sight. Will probably not use this rental service again.

An absolute horror. Low prices on line then u get there and you have to pay $15 a day for their Sunpass and another $10 a day for insurance because they say that they only except certain insurance coverages and Allstate wasn’t one of them. If you’re thinking about using then don’t you will regret it as much as all of us who were standing in line waiting for a car. The topper is they asked me for my email and they wrote their own review under my name and gave themselves five stars!

Reply to owners response: While I can appreciate your timely response your words are just that...words. You provided nothing to me as proof. I took the time to go back and read through the fine print of rental confirmation. I was not able to find what you referred to. As a favor, I have included screen shots of the policy. Please feel free to point out where it says there will be any change/additional charges to the unlimited mileage if I am a local. While were at it, please point out where it says anything about additional charges for the easy pass, and if you dont agree to pay the daily $10 fee, the contract you have to sign to use non toll roads. No option for customer to pay the toll themselves. (NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT A LOCAL, THIS IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA). As I stated before, I walked out and went straight to airport, took my business to a reputable company. No hidden fees, no getting one over on ya! Customer beware!!!I booked my rental online through Expedia. Reservation stated unlimited mileage. With taxes and fees it averaged around $25 per day. When I arrived I was told that I would need to pay an additional $20 per day for the unlimited mileage. Upset about this because no where does it say this when booking or on my confirmation I agreed to it. We continue checking in and was offered the toll pass for $10 a day. Okay, that makes sense right......nope.....its $10 a day just for the transponder and you still have to pay for the tolls at the end. After saying no I will pay the tolls myself rather than pay the extra $10 I was presented a contract to sign that stated I will not drive on ANY toll roads. If I did additional unknown fees would be accessed. At this point, it was one scam after the next I cancelled the reservation and booked through a reputable competitor. Needless to say I found better service with no hidden fees for the same price. DO NOT FEEL TRAPPED BY NEXTCAR AND GET SUCKED INTO ALL THIER SLIMY WAYS!!!!

If there was a negative star I would put that.Booked my rental through Expedia it said it would be unlimited miles, also I’ll use my own insurance.I Uber to the car rental place but it’s not unlimited miles so they charged my $20 a day. Also I had to have a declaration page from my insurance so had to call them for them to send it over, then they charged me $15 a day for tolls, couldn’t just pay for my own tolls or they would charge me $25 per toll.So many hidden fee and by this time your stuck at the rental car place with no other options.DONT EVER BOOK WITH THEMHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

So I reserved a car on my debit MasterCard in advance when I got there to get my vehicle they told me they don’t except debit cards as a way to hold the security deposit and I didn’t have a straight up credit card the lady couldn’t even speak English to me and turned me away after flying in to Orlando and taking the shuttle all the way there I was forced to walk next door and go to action rental car which was way higher price because I didn’t book it advance however what kind of business allows you to book a car on your debit card and not except it because it’s a mastic it’s a debit MasterCard completely horrible horrible service company I would never recommend them to anybody ever if they had a less than one star it would’ve been checked

Rented through Orbitz. Flight delayed and responded to their text confirmation about delay. Went to pickup area, waited 45 min and they never came. Ended up renting from Budget. Called today for a refund and they refused to refund $. What a rip off . Stay away!.Even the Next telephone contact numbers provided to us in our Orbitz paperwork were wrong g. They were 305 numbers that gave info for MIA airport pickups; we rented in Orlando.

Now the people were great very nice they do add extra charges that I’ve never seen before which is a little sad but didn’t bother me that much, they charge you for your own insurance they charge you for the rental of the office they charge you for different fees that I didn’t understand but I’m still OK with it one thing that bothers me is the fast track or fast pass they said for sure I was going to use it somewhere and I was going to get charged if I didn’t have it it can cost a lot so I did get the fast track but I never used it and that was $75 it’s not about the money it’s about the kind of pet the truth, I did call back little while ago and ask them if they could refund half of it to see what kind of company they were and all they said was policy policy policy so even though I was pretty much happy with everything even the extra charges their life is nothing but charges I thought they could work with me so I could be up return client But since they didn’t want to work with me I will not be coming back to this place. Worst travel experience Ive had. After waiting an hour to get our luggage from the plane at Orlando Airporr, tried calling the phone # given to us. Kept getting a recording welcoming me to Miami international Airport. Tried the second phone # and got message voice mail was full. After another 40 minutes a next car shuttle showed up to take a load of people to the rental store. Waited in line for another hour only to be told I was 3 hours late, so they canceled my reservation and would have to make a new one. What a rip off. Wouldnt listen to any excuse. They kept my money. Went back to Airport when next shuttle showed up, 45 more minutes, and rented from a reputable company. Never again.! Doesnt deserve a star, but couldnt post without it.

Rented a vehicle with person A credit card and driver name B. There was zero notification or alert that this was not allowed and that names did match. It did not state names must match. Get to rental place, person A gives credit card used to make reservation online. Person B gives drivers license. We are informed names have to match. So we give them person B credit card. They refuse to accept it. We ask to change driver to person A, they say they cant because the reservation was made under person B but will add a second driver for $84 to use person A credit card. (This doesnt make sense because it still does not change who the reservation was made for) we say we will make a new reservation and can we cancel this one. They say they will charge us a $50 cancelation fee. It was also really uncomfortable watching a man from the back come to the front and kiss the woman working with us.We are using a different service.Also, this place isnt at the airport. A shuttle is required to get to the rental from the airport. Not worth the extra Hassel, do not recommend.

The employees were completely disrespectful to other customers I observed, and just seemed like they didnt care and had an attitude even when someone wasnt asking questions. Almost as if you are bothering them by trying to use their service. Attitude is completely terrible.The shuttle service from the airport isnt done well either. After 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting at the airport and trying to call numerous times somebody finally picked up and said they would send a shuttle to pick us up. Going back to the tolls fee options the prices are also outrageous. You can googlemap to avoid paying for that racquet. The service is slow as well. The gentleman that brought us our car sat in the driver seat scrolling through Facebook while we are waiting outside with our bags to trying to get in and leave. Literally saw him make a comment on someones post.. This is after waiting 15 minutes for the to bring the car to us. I will certainly choose a different service next time. Ones that actually act like they are happy that you use their service.

Biggest scam ever! I brought my own Ezpass, insurance declaration and I used a credit card that covered car rentals. They said, my insurance was not one they accept, hence 11.99/ day more and they only allow use of their sun pass 14.99/ day. I was there a week. That was over a month ago. They just charged my credit card for tolls this morning. I only had $4 in tolls the whole time I was there and somehow the $14 a day didn’t cover it. Scam!!!Just use Uber or Lift in Orlando. Don’t rent a car unless you plan on using a reputable company or paying out the wazoo! I never would have rented if I didn’t think I was getting a good deal. It was absolutely not a deal!!!! Should have called an Uber right then and bounced. Oh I failed to mention that we had to wait an hour because the shuttle left with our suitcase when we arrived. Also we had to wait 30 mins for it to arrive when we heard to the airport. Glad I knew not to trust them, so we were early.

This place is a joke…I was quoted one price through the Orbitz website and even added the special insurance but upon getting to the place which was going to charge $460 more than what was origonally quoted we went back to the airport to rent another car instead for almoat half of what these people quoted…this place is a joke! This is a terrible terrible place to rent a car. I book from Expedia for 150 a day!!! And I end up paying 260 for just one day!!! for a Nissa Versa! I have paid insurance in Expedia, and they ask me to pay again! I was totally shocked. This place is a total scan!!! I asked everybody in the bus, everybody states the same experience!!! Expedia should have removed this company!!! DO NOT RENT from this company!!! Not even worth 1 star!!!!!

Tons of hidden fees. The process is extremely cumbersome for customers and there is no transparency up front. You must add on their liability and collision insurance as the figure is so high, it is not covered by most insurances. An absolute scam and unhelpful staff. Please look into more reputable options when looking for a car rental facility.

This is by far the worst rental company in the world. ITS A TOTAL SCAM. You go there because Expedia is telling you they got the best price. After being there they refuse insurance from Credit card, from you auto insurance, insurance from canada, etc. They will find a way to take their mandatary insurance by showing me a fine print coming from I dont know where never been show on Expedia. Adding to that, you must take the tolls plans +25$/day or its 25$ BY SCAN!!!!!!!!! When you and 5 peoples starts complaining about the scam, the « supervisor is mysteriously in a important meeting for several times at 8 pm » . They giving you a business card with his name and supposed cell phone number and you try it… SURPRISE: no service! The phone number do not work.Its a SERIOUS SCAM. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!!!We had a similar rental car scam in Toronto Canada, you can watch the CBC marketplace about how shaddy business they are doing on youtube, but even them are far easier to work with compare to them.

Never ever would I rent from this place. They are the worst people to deal with. They give you this good rate and then tack on insurance, tolls, booking fees just to name a few. When I told them that my insurance covers a rental, they made me call the insurance to get more information. Then even if you have insurance they charge you a fee daily. I would never recommend them. I will pay the price for a reputable car rental. Not to mention that the car I got had dings and a cracked fender.

Terrible customer service. They will try to scam you every step on the way. Avoid if you can. Affordable rate at first will come at much higher costs after they add all of their menu items.Story short we cancelled our reservation and used Uber instead.First, we had to wait over 40 minutes for the pick up at the airport. We called right away after we picked up our luggage and we were told that shuttle is on the way. About 30 minutes later we were told shuttle is on the way and it took another 15 minutes or so for the shuttle to get to us.Their place is only 12 minutes away from Airport terminal.Then Long line at the facility.Insurance:Be prepared to show them full declaration page from your insurance. Proof of insurance is nothing enough for them.They told us they only work with preselected insurance carriers and even so I had Safeco insurance they advised of a additional charges per day and activation fee just to use my insurance Carrier.What a SCAM.Sunpass:We were told we cannot use our own sunpass and must use their transponder at $13/day plus toll charges.We declined to use their Sunpass. They advised us of a fee of $25 for every toll charge even if we use our transponder for the payment of the toll.

We rented a vehicle at the last minute and Next Car was the best competitive price and had better selections of vehicles. The car was nice and cleaned. No issues with checkin. Maria took care of us quickly. Her professionalism and prompt service is outstanding. We did not have any issue returning the car at all. The only issue is waiting for the shuttle. Only had one shuttle due to covid which is understandable. Looking forward to renting in the future with Next Car.

When I asked about tollroads, I was told that they existed between the rental place and my destination. I used that info to.opt in for the automatic service they offer to pay for those toll fees. On the road it became apparent that there were no toll roads that were active to my destination. I asked for a refund and was told they couldnt refund the 22.

Almost an 2 hour and 450 dollars worth of hidden fees we finally got a vehicle. They wouldve only got 1 star but the young lady was gracious enough to upgrade our vehicle with no extra cost for the wait. Never again.

I would never use this company. I booked through Expedia. When I got to the airport in Orlando, their instructions were to wait at a certain location for the shuttle and they come every 20 minutes, I called them and their recording also indicated this. After waiting 45 minutes, I called and was hung up on 5 times! Once I finally spoke with someone and gave my reservation info, they said someone was on the way. Another 30 minutes went by and they still werent there, so I called again and was told there was traffic. Once I was finally picked up, there didnt seem to be any traffic issues. I got to their location (the shuttle was awful, duct taped seat belts, etc) I was told they canceled my reservation because I was late! Im still fighting to get my money back. This company is a joke.

I with my family came to Florida for a nice vacation. Everything was nice; my plane came early and etc. Then it’s time to get a rental. We wait for up to 2 hours for a shuttle, then we finally get one (the only one) and head there. They try to get us to pay a extra fee because we were late. Even though it was clearly there fault. (we are not from here) I personally do not recommend. thank you for reading.

I found this place on the Internet because i wanted to rent a Car to have on my week vacation in for a three-row SUV it was a good price I paid with my debit card for the deposit online I get there and they told me I have to have a credit card so they said they can work with me and let me use my debit card but I will have to pay a deposit of 150 and it was going to be more for the car so I was so in a hurry I ended up doing it and they told me two times that I will get my 150 back as soon as I turn in the car I never once got my 150 back and its been 2 weeks I called to talk to someone they hang up the phone three times on me so I ended up calling customer service I made a claim with them and they were going to get ahold of them these people are so rude all they want is your money and not only that they take a very long time to pick you up from the airport. i would never recommend this place to anyone I should have read the reviews no wonder they have a 3-star I should have did more research before I went ahead and booked the car!!!!! Not a Good place at all if u book from them u will see after.

This is absolutely the worst car rental place to go to Buyer BEWARE! They initially charge low prices to have you purchase the car, but upon arrival they try to charge extra fees ranging over $500 to rent a car and try to pressure you to get their insurance when you have your own and the insurance offered at a much cheaper rate than what they are offering. It’s better to just go to a Reputable company like a Hertz. At least with them you know what you are paying for at the initial purchase. I personally saw individuals sit outside this company for 4+ hours due to the scam they were running on the excessive fees to purchase their vehicles and once the person could not afford it or refused to pay, they did not mind them leaving because they already had over hundreds of dollars of their NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.In addition, their shuttle transportation does not have adequate seatbelts working ( at least 3 are non working) and that is against the law.

A big no! Think twice before you try to save money using this rental company. Not only were they a 15 minute drive from the airport in a tight van with no air-conditioning, but they force you to purchase insurance. The only way out is to have your proof of insurance with you and be able to show a $300,000 liability policy. They also charge you $15 for toll easy pass. Not to mention, the car reeked of smoke and had stains all over the seats and dents. Horrible service, horrible location. Spend the extra $20 up front and save $150 long run and the convenience. If they’re still in business with these business policies in 6 months, I’ll be surprised. Ps - all 7 customers in line were in as much shock as I was.

Car was filthy. Florida residents get charged more than annoying tourists. They try to add on other charges that are not mentioned online. When you bring it back they harass you to leave a 5 star review before you leave and wont let you go. Some of the employees speak no English at all. Avoid this place at all costs. All I needed was a car to go to and from work. The girl didnt even know why Florida residents get charged more for unlimited mileage. Makes no sense.. This place is super scammy!!!..Oh... Purchased full coverage insurance through the booking site. When getting to the facility the girl who helped said it wasn’t enough and wouldn’t cover collision which it stated in the email it did. They charged all of these unnecessary fees which no one explained. Ended up paying an additional $250.if I didn’t need a rental car I would have cancelled right then and there but unfortunately needed the car. Two weeks later and still waiting for my refund back. Save your self the headache and money go through enterprise.

This has been the worst rental car experience, I will give one good credit they did upgrade the car for the same price but didn’t give details of not leaving out of Florida but was in a hurry for initials. Then when we called they left us in a whole hang up on us twice until it was time to close we could not reach no one. Next day went there and was told we will be refund within 24 hours and have to wait to manger come in at 5 and when the manger cane in he told ups we will be charge for 1 day which I understand but 2-4 business it’s 5 five going on day 6 we didn’t receive full refund only 250 for insurance but not the rest we was leaving for a week with was 900 plus insurance

I would give 0 stars if possible! What a joke!! We had a car reserved. Called to notify we had arrived. We were told the shuttle would pick us up in 10min. 2hrs later we were still waiting along with several other groups of people. NextCar One Switch stopped answering calls. Many other shuttle drivers spoke to us in disbelief and apologetically said this company is known for not showing up and not answering their calls once they run out of cars! We had a very pregnant momma with us, and another group had an elderly woman in a wheelchair waiting in the heat for the shuttle ....that never arrived. Now Ill be writing my concerns to the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General. An establishment that conducts business in this manner should be held accountable.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!Orlando Florida location is a retailer not a corporate location FYI.I watched as the employees scamed renters into high over-priced rentals.Be aware they will ask you to verify your insurance requesting your declaration page.They will verbally request your coverage be upgraded to 300k on both collision and property coverage.This tactic is the beginning of the scam, to force /pressure consumers to purchase their insurance.I contacted my insurance provider upgraded my insurance it cost me $4.00 to do.ThenThe website (corporate) states a rental policy guidelines.I didnt buy anything requested, but did notice a 500.00 hold on my credit card. At the end of my transaction.I watched as this location sold a basic car rental for an extra $400. To $1000. I urge everyone to report this to Next corporate office.I did.
