Look here Spirit may be surpassing Southwest in customer service, friendliness, and overall quality of the airplane experience.The attendant at the Spirit gate was extremely accommodating. I asked for extra leg room and she said absolutely. I told her if I was that extremely large Bezos operation I would rate her 6 stars out 5.Even got lucky no one in the middle seat. In essence fly Spirit

Our First Flight ever and the Flight attendant Lois was so sweet. She helped make our experience real awesome. We flew from Detroit to Orlando in NK117 at 11:30am on May 23rd 2021. She gave my two kids a Certificate for first flight. Then later a little sticker, which for a 2 year old helped keep her entertained. And when we landed she gave them each a bag of Gummy Bears. I hope SPIRIT airlines knows they have a great worker.

Paul was our host on the plane flying in from Las Vegas to Orlando.We are on our way to Puerto Rico and the service is top notch.Paul made sure to announce all of the in-flight specials and keep a very friendly attitude with all of the guests the entire time. Spirit should hire more people like this, or give this guy a raise.

If I could give no stars I would! I will never fly with them ever again nor will I ever use them when booking our clients. To charge people for bags for things they need like clothes is ridicules. I will fly Southwest or delta here on out. It took me 3 representatives and only one answered my purse and military ( you only do active, guess they only matter when their over sacerfing themselves not after the fact) question the same question took one from 1:30ish to 2:40 to answer me still didnt answer my question asked if I was asking about baggage prices and did I already book idk why would I have a confirmation number that I gave you at the beginning of the chat if I had not booked ? 3rd person could answer my question and the boost it deal. We paid 367 and some change and boost it for seats and baggage was 365 . Asked if I choose that will they refund us or what can they do? We brought our protection for flights in case. Still couldnt answer my question so I asked for a manger since she couldnt answer my simple question and got its not simple as rude as she could and transferred me to a manger the manger was great but still resolve my issue or knew how to handle the situation. Never again will we ever use spirit and I will be sure to tell anyone who ask to not do so as well.

I was surprised to suddenly have to pay 60 dollars to claim a bag. I guess spirit just assumed people travel to other places without any thought of bringing clothes with them.Sometimes being the cheapest airline just shows that its just too cheap.The plane ride was fine I guess. Although you cant even ask the flight attendants for a water without being charged 3 dollars, I guess its all my fault, I could have brought a bottle and literally filled it with tap water before getting on.

My flight delayed an hour at first. Then one more hour while waiting on the plane, after that they said we will take off now.. but we didn’t. Then 40 minutes to finally take off (total of 2 hours and 40 minutes). I missed my plans for what is after this flight. Also, seats were so uncomfortable. My flight felt like it was 15 hours when it supposed to be only 1 hour. They charges for EVERYTHING, Including a small cup of water. I could promise they want to charge for the air that we breath. Worst experience to travel ever.

DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR TRIP! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!Sent me a notification that my flight was delayed. Then the plane left BEFORE the original departure time! They do this to people on purpose if they overbook as a way to move them to other flights without having to pay them. Called me a liar until I showed them my screenshotof the delayed notification. Without the screenshot I would have been buying new tickets. Stuck in the airport from 7am till 11PM! YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Sooooo if you have never flown before I wouldnt recommend Spirit. If you are an experienced flyer then you will probably be ok. The Fort Wayne, IN Spirit associates were excellent, the Orlando experience was terrible. We stood in line at the Spirit bag check we have 4 children traveling with us, after getting to the counter they say you need to self check your bag at the kiosk (Fort Wayne did it for us). We go to the Kiosk and it says we are 3 minutes late and cant board the plane. We have been at the airport over 35 minutes had just dropped a car off at Enterprise rental car. We arent late we just didnt get the bag tags by time it is 6:38 our plane leaves at 7:15. They tell us we cannot get on another flight until Saturday but can sit stand bye in case a family cancels. It is now 2:30 pm we are sitting at the gate waiting they name 7 passengers over head that they have 1 minute left to board. A lady comes within the minute and boards they shut the doors announces that boarding is closed. She says are you my standbys? Yes we are, then 2 men running through the airport come to our gate that the door has been shut she tells us there are now only 4 seats to fly standby! When my family is 3 minutes late we are told no maybe it is because my kids are biracial and my woman has brown skin. Either way they let these 2 men enter after boarding has closed. Spirit did not compensate me for room travel or food, after 16 hours sitting in MCO we decide to get a taxi and get a hotel room. This is costing my family over a thousand dollars, oh and by the way today is my sons 17th birthday and is going to miss all of the birthday plans. Not to mention when we went standby they sent our luggage to Indiana, so now we only have the clothes on our backs and in Florida an extra 2 days. I included a pic of the line we stood at the help section but the Spirit associates only seemed interested in helping those speaking Spanish and the signs arent visible because of the lines. Every moment your mask drops you will be told in a very disrespectful manner to put your mask on or they will remove you. My children started a game pointing out all of the European Americans not wearing a mask and not being yelled at for their mask. I guess it is easier to notice when a brown skinned persons masks lowered than a white person that isnt even wearing one. The plane has very limited space but they do allow personal items. Our bags weighed too much so we had to pay extra $55.

Prices are good. You never know if there will be delays though. With covid being at an all time high. I would definitely recommend proceeding with caution before booking a flight. Not to mention, carry some hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes for surfaces.

This is terrible!, it’s my first time traveling with this airline and the experience is awful.My flights have been delayed and delayed!Lost my connecting flights and it’s just stressful to travel with SPIRIT.If you will be paying a little more for another airline it’s totally worth it, instead of choosing a flight with SPIRIT.

Needless to say you get what you pay for, buying an airline ticket from Spirit means do not expect to leave on time and do not expect to arrive on time.If your upcoming trip is time sensitive I would highly recommend choosing a different Airline with a better track record of being on time.

Let’s do this. This is definitely my last Spirit flight. The nonsense started shortly after I booked my trip…and needed to change my return flight. I’ve flown Spirit a couple of time and I know the nickel and dime routine. I fully expected to (and did) pay to reschedule. But then something magical happened, Spirit randomly changed the time of my outgoing flight, which was Father’s Day. I purposefully scheduled the latest flight out to spend more time with the family. Spirit had other plans. They put me on the first flight out! Sooooo, after wasting about 2 hours of my time I was able to have my original outgoing flight fixed. Oh, I forgot to mention that when my flight was magically changed my upgraded seats and checked bags were deleted even though I already paid for them. So I get my flight fixed, get my seats added back in, get my checked bags added back in - and then I get the message that sealed my decision to NEVER use this airline again. I was told that I was receiving a “a one-time courtesy change and that they would waive the charges”. Waive the charges? For what? A flight error I didn’t make? No thanks!Then it gets better - arrive at the airport on time, get to the gate. Waiting patiently when there’s an announcement that the gate was changed to Gate 4…no big deal, we are at Gate 5. Another 30 minutes goes by and the flight should be getting ready to board, I make way closer to Gate 4 and a few minutes later another announcement (different person this time) that the gate changed to Gate 4, but slipped in at the very Terminal F, Gate 4. I’m sure you can guess where F is in relation to G…the other side of the airport. I hustle up and get over there for the Spirit shuffle - flight delayed from 9:59 to almost midnight…no announcement about the delay, no explanation until almost an hour in to the delay.Return flight - just a beautiful. Scheduled to start boarding at 7:13. It’s 8:06 now, and they just started boarding. Funny thing is the marquee still lists the flight as on time and in “last call” for boarding.Save yourself the hassle and fly another airline. By the time you pay all of the nickel and dime fees for seats and bags you could have flown another airline with less stress and WAY LESS DELAYS.

My child who is 12 years old was left alone at his arrival gate even though he was supposed to be accompanied. No one has gotten back with me regarding this Matter which is highly unacceptable. I will continue to contact the airlines until so. Anything could have happened to him. My son told me that the supervisor made a report but I would’ve never known if my son hadn’t complained to me . If I could give zero stars, I would. We took our son for his first vacation before becoming a big brother and flew Frontier with no problems. We come back on Spirit and the customer service is worse than terrible. They give you the same unapologetic, rude answers even though if you call (and actually get a human), they are much more helpful. Which makes me wonder why they even have staff in person if they cant do anything to help rebook when we missed our flight. The boarding pass says doors close 15 minutes before departure; at Frontier we saw TWO families board after the doors were closed!!! The lady said we didnt have enough time to board even though it was 45 minutes before take off. We asked her what we could do and she literally said nothing and stared at us. She said it would be $99 charge each, and the flight wasnt until the next day - when we called they gave us credit for the flight we already paid for. We had to shuttle from our car rental which is why it took us so long to get to the airport. It was our first flight and they made us pay for a new flight, a hotel, and cabs which was $400 extra!!! I was upset because we felt stranded with our 3 year old and Im pregnant. No sympathy, no help. I was told this airline was terrible and didnt listen. My mistake, I will never fly Spirit again!As someone who has worked in fast food and customer service for 10 years - WORST SERVICE EVER.

The worst airline I have ever used. When checking in my Bag Kimberly Patrap had the worst attitude. She started talking rude, throwing our bags, then had the nerve to ask me for my tickets back I let her know I wasn’t gonna give them to her. Kimberly Patrap made my whole experience with Spirit the worst. If you want to enjoy your vacation/ flight stress free I would recommend you not to flight with spirit or at least not when going to this airport by far the worst people working for spirit at this airport. Many other people might not say anything about how bad they are being talked to/ treated but that shouldn’t give this people the right to get treated like Kimberly Patrap treated my family & I.

Everything is a money grab I paid for several things that they did not acknowledge and my dad has a missing personal item that’s currently either stolen or on our terminal/gate that we boarded from. Don’t recommend plus you literally even have to pay for water on the flight. Every thing costs something except for your personal item. Checked bags, carry one, overweight checked bags, seats, everything costs a fortune basically. Will be using a different airline in the future and we got our flight delayed over four hours with no accommodation at all. I would give no stars if possible

08.01.2021Flight 555 Orlando to New OrleansDeparture time: 2250Delayed to 2345Delayed again to 0041Cancelled 08.02.2021 @ 0128Line to Spirit HR desk was a couple hundred people stretching into the TSA screening area & zig zagged around some crowd control mazes.Got in line at 0135Passed out on floor for about 10mins as line was not moving at all for periods of time.Might be due to the total of 2 (sometimes 1 & sometimes none) representatives working the counter for hundreds of people that all had their flights cancelled due to weather.Somehow Southwest managed to fly to the same destination just fine in this weather.No service, seating, or even water offered to line standers, but they can sure fill their check in desks to take money for all the add on purchases like checked carry-ons, baggage; soon to be air & foot space.0918 finally reach front of line & speak to Spirit representative.My options are - refund for half the amount of round trip ticket as half had already been used.Or schedule on next available Spirit flight if I wanted to roll the dice that they didnt cancel it again.Spirits own website, among others, shows same day flight available departing around same time as original.Next available flight is 08.03.2021 @ 1619, or I can give you refund for half ticket price & you purchase a $400 ticket from our website for same day flight.Why are you not taking care of the people you screwed already by booking up all planes not booked out with the ones you decided to strand on a weekday night?Missed out on one day of work already, will be 2 IF this new flight even occurs without getting cancelled as well.No lodging, transportation, sustenance, even apology offered.Many, many people sleeping in airport because of this professionalism of lying to the customer & shirking all responsibility.Garbage airline, will never consider them again - Delta is the way to go, but I didnt book this flight so I missed out on excellence.

The ride from Denver to Houston was a trip but the staff did a good job of keeping control with police. Over a delayed flight. The biggest complaint was the delays through out the day left Denver at 11:15AM and did not get to Orlando until after 1:00 AM. The best thing was the way we got off the flight row by row from the front, not just mass Chaos. Good Job

Secure your bags well. since there is a group of #spirit employees who are stealing items from the passengers suitcases. for my part I will not travel by spirit again. I plan to open a #Jetblue membership, these Jetblue folks are the best. I hope this comment can help someone. ahh! I was forgetting that you can file a stolen property report and Sprit wont do anything. lucky!!!

Your companys beliefs and so called safety procedures need to be reevaluated. What happened the other day was intolerable and just plain rude. If you want to kick children off of a flight and then change your decision after realizing that it was the wrong one the company should come out VERY publicly and Apologize, and revise their standards and training on how to evaluate a situation before it can no longer be controlled. The last thing a formerly reputable company needs is bad publicity like this. I will no longer book flights with spirit airlines for personal or business dealings.

Got a great deal thru spirit... $120 both way from Newark to OrlandoI have read so many negative reviews/comments about spirit and that helped me to prepare through all hurdle. while booking anything I do my research thoroughly and that helps me to avoid the extra charge, problems which other people faced. I got the deal EWR-MCO-EWR in $120, now I knew I need to pay extra for check-in luggage, so I bought a 40lb check-in bag in $30. I enrolled myself in $9 fare spirit program ( not sure why it is called $9, never got $9 deal) and through this, I saved $59 in booking the ticket. I did not choose seats and saved $20 per seat too. I did web check-in 24 hrs before and got random seat which was window and middle seat for me and my wife, so tip - do web check-in and most probably you ll get adjacent seats with your friends/family. while coming back, got middle and aisle seat and there was no one at window seat so got 2 seats for myself.check-in at the airport was very easy, did self-check-in at the kiosk, got the boarding pass and submit the bag. all are done in 10 minutes.same for coming back from Orlando, where I need to submit a bag by myself, the kiosk machine was easy to use.as they claim themselves, no reclining seat, kinda worked for me, as I dont like somebody lean on my food tray. the seat was okay not very comfy. they do sell beverages snacks (its not free )inside the flight and also trying to sell their spirit credit cards. I got one while booking the ticket with 15k Miles and inside the plane, there were offering 35-40K miles, so if you are interested, take it in the plane when its in Air.What worked for me is I knew everything that could have spoiled my trip ( seat selection fee, check-in bag fee, snacks are not free) so I was prepared and got the deal accordingly. for both legs, flights were on time and landed on time. it was a very nice experience for me with spirit.

Lets see where to start. The 4 flight attendants taken off the plane by Ambulance or the rude woman flight attendants? No smiles and almost angry or even entitled and just not happy to be there, weird. My plane was delayed from Washington to Vegas by almost 3 hours. Thank God I had a 7 hour layover with my connecting flight though that was awful too but I still was able to catch it even though that was delayed too because all the flight attendants who one minute were walking around fine but arguing with coworkers and a passenger were taken away by ambulance after rhe passenger was taken away by ambulance. Yes all 4 flight attendants one by one were placed on a gurney or a wheel chair while some were still smiling and talking amongst the emts or employees when moments before They were arguing over not having a roll bar with Co workers and said passengers were yelling for wheel chairs and then no one was answering the PA system caller who called probably for 20 minutes for help and argued over no one helping each other or even this other poor old woman who was trying to sit herself down in a wheelchair that finally was just placed in front of her till two of us from the waiting flight yelled over to please help her. Because she was very old and couldnt get the brake on so As we started to come help her one of them standing around finally did. And there was many spirit employees just standing around during all of this. Some even just rolling their eyes at each other. I was so disappointed and flying alone with my 9 year old daughter and so wanted this to be a great experience for her but turned into just a frightening experience for the both of us. They had to replace all those attendants for my flight apparently which took a while too.. It was so ridiculous that I took a picture and got yelled at by another angry spirit employee just for taking a picture In front of my child. Just awful and my first time but heard a lot of bad stories from returning passengers about the airline so not sure Ill be flying ever again with them. Certainly when I fly with my sweetie Sophie Ill be doing my research to find a better safer airline.Theres a lot more to tell but you get the jist.

Had a flight booked from Orlando to Newark. Like 30 minutes into the flight we had to turn around because there was a cabin pressure issue. When we came back it was over 90 minutes before we could leave again because as were about to leave, maintenance comes on the plane because some flight log was entered incorrectly for the repair. I missed my meeting in New York which was the sole reason I was traveling to begin with. This is my first experience with Spirit and its safe to say it will also be my last.

We love who spirit always handle their customers, they are always on time ..... but i have a baby i always travel with a stroller, today i left the stroller in the enter of the airplane, when i arrived i always wait for my stroller because im with the baby, bag pack everything !!!! Big SURPRISE, the are not returning the stroller in the door of the airplane NOW is in the baggage claim ... how is this possible !! Of course we need the stroller in our hands to do immigration and carry the baby, baby bag and your bag pack is impossible !!! Also if you change your police let the customers know !!

This airline is the most unhelpful ever! I have a medical boot on my foot and they do not want to accommodate us while traveling. After being hung up on 3 times we finally talked to someone who didnt want to help. Once we got to the airport we did find a wonderful employee who helped us through TSA and get to the gate. Once we were at the gate we were told that we will not have the seats that we were told we would get. After getting loud another employee came over and found a way to help. Its lazy employees that make this airline a joke. I WILL NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE AGAIN!

Update: explain how yall gonna let a kid that is coughing its head off on a plane with no mask what so ever. I am so thankful for an airline for people who just want an adventure and dont care about bringing all their favorite outfits! I brought my infant on my lap and my 3 school age kids from Minneapolis to orlando and everything went perfectly smooth. From drop off to the gate took maybe 20 minutes max. The spirit workers were all very friendly and helpful.My family packed small backpacks and brought our own snacks. My daughters car seat and stroller were free. We did not pay to select seats and they still got us all in the same row together which was nice.The seats are small and kind of hard, no complimentary refreshments at all, no free bags beyond one small item that can go under the seat.But if youre like us, we dont care! Were just down to go somewhere fun!

Would not allow us to extend our stay. Flight got cancelled anyway. Completely incompetent, inconsiderate, inconsistent, poor customer service... I’d rather pay for an airline that will give you a sip of water & actually help when your flight is cancelled. Our family sacrificed 2 days of our vacation because of Spirit’s lack of ability to find a flipping pilot. No value. Will NEVER fly with this rip off company again. BUYER BEWARE!!

Worst service ever, they kept me on phone call for 40 minutes when I just wanted to pick my seat, they put me through 4 different employees including the manager and all of them didn’t know what were doing. One of them asking me about my email and which place I was staying at the moment. If you’re looking my flight reservation why in heaven do you need that for ?I know prices are good and cheap, but I didn’t know that their cheap rates mean horrible guest service. Never again!!!

Wasnt sure if we were on the right plane as the pilot couldnt remember where we were actually going..... And at the baggage drop our city wasnt listed either which was scary considering the hubs and I dont fly very often. We also didnt think it was worth the carry on price to bring home souvenirs ended up finding a UPS store in mailing it for cheaper than what they wanted for a carry-on Thats a little ridiculous I also understand that theyre trying to save us money but dang its not that serious to let people have a free carry-on charge for something else to make up the difference.

I’m gonna be straightforward with my review, yes, it’s not the most confortable airline ever, and you may get confused by all the different fees (baggage, seats, etc.) you have to pay before you board your flight, but you do get what you paid for.Experience: My family and I were looking for ways to save money on the plane tickets so we could extend our stay, the simple solution was Spirit. The flight was from Costa Rica to Orlando, via Ft. Lauderdale. We accomplished our goals since spirit was way cheaper than any other airline. We knew what we went for: no comfy seats, no in-flight complementary food or drinks, no luxury, just the flight. We did everything on time, the baggage check in, the selection of the seats, the printing of the tickets, everything. And you know what? It wasn’t bad. The flight was delayed a little bit but the pilot said he would do anything possible to arrive on time, and we did, we even arrived before the ETA.In conclusion: Spirit offers you one thing only! And that’s getting you there. I feel like people expect to be treated like they were paying for a much more expensive experience when they’re not and that’s the point of the airline. I have no complaints whatsoever.We got from point A to point B and that’s what we paid for. Want a more confortable experience? Save money and travel on another airline.

She is so arrogant and very bad behavior. We reached gate at last min for the flight and she stopped us for carrying bag size. Bag fit in the measurement box except wheels. Same bag was inspected by Nashville teams and used more than 5 times for Sprit airline travel and no one complained. I don’t want to miss the fight, so I paid $65 to get rid of her trouble. While leaving she was threatening 2 girls (student) for paying for the bag otherwise she is going to cancel their booking. Very bad customer service. Be kind to Students, military, medical professionals and others during COVID situation.

In all honesty I was extremely scared to fly with them - once I got on the plane. I booked a flight with them because it was SO cheap and I didn’t need luggage so the extra baggage fees were irrelevant (they charge for every little thing which is annoying). Everything was looking up and then just as we are about to take off they stop the plane and make an announcement that goes something along the lines of this: “we noticed some warning lights and issues so we’re going to restart the engine and *HOPE* that fixes the problem.” I would much rather know why they allowed that plane to be flown all the way from Florida to Nevada only 10 minutes after having warning lights. Seems unsafe and unethical especially after concerning passengers like that. Everyone was just looking at each other like are they serious right now. You could see the fear in people’s eyes. The only reason it got two stars is because we actually made it to the destination without issue. I would’ve been much happier if they provided an explanation as to why this happened and how they fixed it but all they did was restart it and take off without any explanation, so people were left uneasy about whether the issue was actually resolved. I even texted a friend before lift off to warn him of what had happened beforehand in case something happened. Next time can you explain it to the passengers so they feel safe on their four hour flight, please.

My flight was completely comfortable. I relaxed. The seats were good. Other seating options include more leg room for the taller people. So if you are over 510 Its best to get those seats. The staff was very nice and friendly. No pictures to post this time 👌

Flights itself was fine like usual but every time I end up flying with spirit airlines, the staff are very disrespectful to me. My first flight today i wasnt charged for a second carry-on but the second one I was charged $65 for a bag that barely weighs 20 pounds. They overcharged me for this bag when my first flight with spirit didnt mind that I had it. Idk if it was just Orlandos spirit representatives or what. They were very disrespectful to me. Not flying with spirit again.

Plane broke during takeoff 3 times and rescheduled flight for next day... then hours trying to get our bags back cost us for another nights stay and miss time with our children. Very displeased with the lack of maintenance of their planes and seems like the most ghetto airline i have ever flown and for my troubles we were given meal vouchers for a 1.5 hour flight when i have had to rearrange doctors appointments and patients and arrange care for my home. I will not be purchasing tickets from this horrible airline again. If your time is valuable dont use spirit. Lets not get started with baggage fees and loading procedures. Be wise use southwest or an actual reputable airline and dont be cheap and try to save money by using spirit in the end it will probably cost you more than a safer airline

If you know what you are doing this is a great value bit remember they charge for EVERYTHING they do note it on their website when booking (so pay attention it is listed there if you get a massive charge it is your own fault). But for some one like me where I can leave clothing and other things at a destination I visit often (my dads place in Orlando) it is a great value as I dont need to take luggage with me. I can get round trip for about $300 (this is getting the nice seats at the front of the plane with extra room standard seats 230 to 250)

Super cheap flights and it wasnt as cramped as I thought it would be like everyone has said. Although charging $34 for my bag as a carry-on was ridiculous and pretty much made the price the same as others especially since I had two bags. It was actually cheaper to check them in at $30 a piece. We arrived early on both flights round trip Austin to Orlando. Good customer service. Everyone was very friendly and courteous.

The big front seat, when you find the right deal, is the best value in the air. No other way to fly a first class seat for coach prices. Its all about comfort. No fluffy first class service, but not expected at the Spirit price point. The staff and pilots were equal to any other airline Ive flown. Going in and out of easy airports made it even better. I will fly Spirit again.

Spirit Airlines is a SCAM. They forced ne to pay fir my carryon computer bag $69 for a short flight from Orland to Houston that I already pay $70 fir the flight. My bag is small and could fit on my lap abd under the seat. Yet the boarding officer aggressively and unpolitely pulled me on the side and presented a credit card scan and force me to pay. She was nasty and ready to exort money. I will never fly on Spirit Scam Airlines. In the plane there were plenty of empty overhead bins above my seat and across behind and in front of the bins ad shown in the phot that was taken after the boarding was completed. The only Spirit of this airline is the Spirit if Stealing its customers. It is a scam. Do not buy anything from this lousy company of Thieves.

We had on time departure and arrived early. They do charge for beverages but they should offer cups of water free if charge, especially if you have to take scheduled medication while on the flight. Frontier airlines does this and it is thoughtful of their customers.

Spirit Airlines this is my last fly. I arrived on march 22 from Colombia to USA my returned fly was April 30. I was stock in the USA unable to work no SS or fly out. They charge me $175.00 dollar difference to get back to my country Even though I had a return ticked pay in full. In my opinion they were wrong on charging me the $175.00 difference. They should waive the $175.00. Thanks for the service as a frequent flyer. This would be my last fly. As far as feed back is my score -0 BAD SERVICE.

Changed flight times both ways with no notification. Flight out we still managed to catch. Flight back not so lucky. It left 4 hours early. The next flight was 24 hours later and the ticket counter personnel refused to offer any assistance past putting is on that flight. Refused to offer us lodging and insinuated that this was our fault. They said they sent an email update but they never did. Seats are horrible. Like sitting on plywood. Small seats around the size of a childs seat. Air vents do not work. At both take off and landing cabin was inundated with fuel fumes. Also they dont let you know until after you book the flight but you are only allowed one PERSONAL item at no cost. Anything else starts at $35 a bag. I highly suggest flying with someone else.

List go on. ... seats are very uncomfortable ... you cannot even lay down there not retractable like most of seats are and look their pocket thats pathetic...not everyoneo but on checkin where you need to checkin baggage some ladys where very unpleasant, unprofessional and very root knowing that youre a stock right now anyway.... Their customer service sucks and takes forever (I have been waiting on the phone for over 40 minutes just to talk to someone about adding a bag because their website is not working properly).They did not do anything to better serve me as a customer. I departed from Orlando (MCO). The check-in line was horrendous. Apparently the bag drop off, special assistance and regular check-in were all the same line. I attempted to use the kiosk, pounding on it relentlessly because the touch screen was not working properly. After about 10 long minutes of screen pressing/mashing my efforts were met by a Please see agent. After standing in line for about 45 minutes I reached the agent who was clearly overwhelmed and abrupt as a result. She stated I should have gotten there earlier, marked my luggage as late check-in, informed me that I might make my plane but my luggage probably would not. Then casually suggested I run to catch my flight but gave no suggestions on how to expedite getting through TSA!Impossible to get live customer service, extremely bad wait times for calls...the deal in price is NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION in person. I have absolutely NO INTENTION of ever using them AGAIN!!!

The service on the plane was good but my sister left her id on the plane, I have called every number possible and emailed everyone and no one can help me. They just kept giving me the same number over and over and no one would answer I would call another number and would tell them that I got no answer and they would laugh. Very unfortunate because this is the airline I have been using but I will be now switching to someone else.

Had a good experience flying from Pittsburgh to Orlando. Seats were good and everything was on time. Realized my daughter left her ipod on the plane and the crew made sure they sent it to baggage claim for us to pick up. My only complaint is they didn’t have my daughter seated near me. I could have paid an extra fee of $46 to make that happen but chose not to.

Seriously, I couldn’t even get a free water so I had to be dehydrated on a 2 1/2 hour flight. I’m not gonna break out a credit card for a $2 water. What a joke. It’s nothing more than the cost of a plastic cup. I’ll never fly spirit again. Also the flight cost was $111, added emergency exit seat $29, priority boarding $8 and my carry on for $49. Total was $199. Not cheap for a bare bones flight. Spirit sucks.

When I wanted to redeem my credit and book a new flight, the website could not locate my credit and when I called costumer service ( after 1 hr waiting) they repeated the same information on the website and told me try it again !!! then after multiple trial and failure someone helped me to book a new flight (again after 1 hr waiting on the phone) !! it was so frustrating !

I would give a 0 if I could. They cancelled my ticket without a notice, no compensation and no explanation. The flight was still departing but they cancelled my ticket because of COVID and and I suppose sold it to another customer, as the plane was at full capacity. Really. disappointed, customer service is ridiculous and most of the times they dont even have any real representatives. Horrible experience.
