Been renting here since July 2020. I have only had great experiences with the new management. They have helped me with any problem no questions asked. They have worked with me to make sure Im the best off I can be at La Veta. They seriously always have my best interest in mind and want to do everything they can to help me. I absolutely love living here. The new management has also upgraded the grounds and the gym which makes living here even more enjoyable. Everything is much more organized and is just done right with the new management team. The maintenance have also been super helpful and are very kind, respectful, and timely. They are all SO SWEET.

I would not recommend these apartment. All my neighbors have gotten their vehicles broken into, 1 stolen vehicle and my vehicle was broken into this year. Management does absolutely nothing to help the situation. This has been an ongoing issue. There needs to be a solution for this. Perhaps more security, better surveillance and management more involved in these cases. Half the cameras don’t work and the ones that do, have very poor resolution.

Been renting here since school started in the Fall, and the only grievance I had with the place was with the management as communication was always tense. However, once Jon and Dulce took over as new management, its been smooth sailing. Any communication with the office is a breeze now and Jon has been super helpful with any questions/concerns I may have about my apartment, especially once my heater began to conk out during the colder times in Orange! Really great for any Chapman students in the area as its within walking distance to most of the main spots on and off campus.

Im a single mommy, And my head is not always screwed on tight! I lost my key fob while I took my son for a walk the other day which lets us into the gated community.... I called the staff and let them know I lost my key and by the time I walked up to the front office they already had one waiting for me! This is just one example of how friendly and committed the staff is to making my life a little easier! Ive lived in plenty of places where once you become a tenant, the staff isnt interested in helping you anymore... And thats not the case here!

I have had a great experience at La Veta. I have just moved in, but have been dealing with them for several months because COVID kept affecting my ability to move to California from Texas and I had to change my move-in date. Through all this time, the staff at La Veta and particularly Jasmine and Jon have been very helpful and accommodating. I cannot say enough about how supportive and patient they were as we went back and forth for moths. We literally have hundreds of communications with Jasmine. I did read reviews that complained about the management staff previously and particularly the old mnager, but that was the old regime. La Veta is staffed by a new management crew and they are great to work with. 5 stars all around.

During our first walk through the lady in the leasing office was kind but not very knowledgable about the complex. She wanted a $100 holding deposit via check. Once that was written and provided to her, she later said she couldnt take it after all, it would need to be paid online. Small misunderstanding, no biggie. The same lady told me the 2bed/2bath came with 1 garage space. During the second walk through once my credit was checked and verified and application processed, a different lady, Jasmine mentioned that the unit we were leasing came with 1 garage and that would add $xx to the base rent. I was like, ok so its optional? She said no its not option it comes with it and youll need to pay $xx amount additional on top of the base pay.At that point, there were other options available near by that actually had other features in their units such as a washer and dryer... So I moved on to a different apartment complex. The low rating is due to lack of transparency. Lost out on application fees and the $100 holding deposit.

Was 1 star however after new management this property became a lot more responsive and kinder. Love the change in management. Only complain now is really parking since we had 3 cara but beside that good place to live in.2 bikes stolen. Security is a joke. Side gate is always opened for Anyone to come in. Horrible place for safety

We LOVE living here. Great people,, friendly and outgoing office staff, Joan, Erica and Bruno and all of the maintenance staff too. It is safe and clean. My family from Minnesota love to come here an visit and feel safe and secure here too. We will live here as long as we can, however, we are retired and need to work with that. But it is a FANTASTIC place to live.

This mausoleum was so horrible that I almost died a spiritual death.

I lived there for two years and it was a very mixed bag.The train is outrageously, unjustifiably loud. So is the front gate, if you live anywhere near it.The place had a new security guard every 20 minutes. Some of them were cool and some of them were extreme power trippers.We had cockroaches, and we werent the only ones with that problem.About half of La Veta was filled with Chapman students, which is pretty great if youre around that age or going to Chapman. Theres a party every weekend all summer long.Ill also give them some points back for being much more generous with our deposit than we expected.

Great Staff- Very Helpful- When you raise a concern they address it immediately.. A little loud at the pool sometimes but overall a really pleasant place to live.

White old mighty lady in the Managers office sucks. Thinks she rules everyone and everything. White power

My first impression was wow! Very warm and happy people Bruno and Joan. I hope it was genuine and we get in. God is in control here. I want to thank God for the blessing of living here a year. And Joan is Abrasive, but so am I. had to humble myself one time for a urgent issue and needed her approval, she went to bat for me and my grandbabies. Also my lease was up and has to move. I drive by daily and I always think of my beautiful sweet Kiki boo, I left behind. Neighbors would feed her, but they say shes gone now. I hope someone who was caring for her and her own cat adopted her. I miss her and if shes still running around the grounds please me too. It to Renee and Joanna.Good night.

If I could give the Management no stars I would. The Manager named Joann has to be the most hateful human I have ever seen. I have a friend who lives there and she is constantly being harassed by this women. She knows she isnt the only one either. Her rent is paid on time and her patio is always clean. I have walked through the Apt complex and I have seen patios with bikes,plants furniture and cable dishes but, she finds it necessary to harass my friend about the same thing that I have mentioned.My friend lived upstairs and had a dish installed on her patio just like her down stairs neighbor,and just like every other apt but, she was told to remove it NOW. Doesnt this women know that you are on a year contract when they are installed? Is she going to reimburse my friend? The property owners or corporation should investigate this lunatic so called manager.And every time I go see my friend I park on the street but, get the stink eye from her. Who made her the orange police?

My brother in law live here . I like it visiting they allow dogs in some apartment, so there doggie bags around, the pool is nice but small

Nice place to live in everything around is nicely kept and secure my only problem is my upstair neighbors are too loud all day playing music till like 1:00am or 2:00 am in the morning
