This place is clean, people are so friendly and try to accommodate you as much as they can. I’ve been here since they opened and I only have to say good things. Tina is amazing and so creative, KB does a great job. Helen is great. I can only say good things about this place. As a client, be patient, tell them what you need, they cannot guess or read minds. Be specific and be kind. We all need a little kindness in this world.

The lady who came way before me was still getting massaged when my polish was already getting done. Had some harder skin on my big toes (only part that needed attention and is very visible from under side) that wasnt targeted. I wouldnt say it was worth the $50. The response from the owner that mine was not deluxe was pretty crazy. I only got my feet done. How much is deluxe? Also i asked for pink and sparkly not white. I thought it would grow on me but ended up liking it even less. I feel like it looks like white out and put some clear pink over it.

This is my go to spot when I’m in town! I had the absolute pleasure of having Kimberly (KB) to do both my pedicure and gel manicure! I was in desperate need of both and look and feel amazing now! Definitely will schedule with her again! Thank you for the awesome job and great conversation KB

Wow, if you are looking for a new nail spot, let me tell you this is it! They keep the establishment very clean, take your temperature before coming in and I love that they ask you to wipe down your phone with alcohol then go wash your hands! I found Tina and the Nailery a year ago and its now my place to feel pretty!

Brandon is a master at his craft. He is patient and can freehand any artwork imaginable on a nail! He helps with ideas if you need and takes his time to make sure your happy! I highly suggest the nailery Olathe ask for brandon! You wont regret it 😄

Always busy but it a good way! Come with a book if you dont have an appointment, but totally suggest an appointment. They have the most colors and options around. Ive never been unsatisfied with service and Ive been a faithful client for over a year.

2 hour wait when i had an appointment and when they actually took me back i waited for another 20 min for someone to actually help me. it was a 20 min service for a full set and the worst nails i’ve ever had. had to go somewhere and pay 100 do fix them. horrible horrible service. pretty sure they use MMA too.

If I could give zero I would. My sister set an appointment for 10AM at the nailery and requested that our party of five be serviced at the same time, which they said would be no problem. We told them exactly what we wanted so they would know ahead of time. We got there at 9:55AM, and waited an HOUR to be serviced, and only three of the five in our party were serviced at that time. We waited another 30 min for the other two to be helped, all the while they were taking people for walkins ahead of us. Once four of us finally got done 2 hours later, we waited nearly another hour and a half for our last friend to get her designs finished. When we went to the front to ask if they could offer a discount for not getting us started at our appointment time, we were rudely told no and that we didn’t tell them that we wanted designs but we clearly stated that on the phone beforehand. They also said “we didn’t tell them there would be five of us” but the whole point of us going there was so we could sit and get them done together. As we were telling the woman at the front that we were frustrated, she said “well the more you keep talking the longer it will take for me to finish your friends nails.” Very unprofessional and from what it seemed like they were just trying to make money over a quality experience. I understand that they work off of commission and the person that did my nails and my sister and moms did an amazing job and overall our nails turned out great. However the people managing the business were rude and didn’t even try and make things right after we waited two hours and then another two for designs. It was ridiculous that they kept taking walkins while we were still waiting. From what it seemed like, the manager was making it a very stressful environment for the employees and kept making them take on more and more people even though multiple people who had appointments kept waiting past their time. While we were there, there was another party who ended up leaving because they had an appointment at 12 and told the front desk that they were frustrated because they had been waiting 2 hours to get started. If you have an appointment, you should be serviced at that time or they should just stop taking appointments. There is literally no point in taking appointments unless your actually going to service at that time. Very unhappy with the experience overall.

Great place! Been going here for 10+ years. Very nice staff. I’m usually pretty picky with my nail salons too, as it can be really hit or miss. My only complaint is that it’s usually always crazy busy, but if you make an appointment, it’s not too bad. Great selections of gel nails, dip, and regular too! Definitely try this place!

Kim(KB) does my nails and has for 2 years. She always listens to exactly what I want and my nails always look amazing, I get compliments all the time.Not only is she efficient and consistent with her work but shes also so funny and sweet !

I have gone to this location for about a year and I will not go anywhere else! The service is top notch, the staff is so friendly and the artwork that I leave with on my nails is amazing! I never have to tell my tech what to do she just does her magic and I am thrilled every time!!!!

My friend had told me she went in with a picture of what she wanted, and Lynda gave her own opinion and did something completely different, and my friend had left, then gone back in because she was uncomfortable with the confrontation but got the confidence to say something. Idk I just feel like it’s kind of rude to give your own opinions and change it completely when they’re the ones paying you. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt like that needed to be shared for anyone who might go in with a “basic” look.

Lynda, Is just the best!! She did a fantastic job on my nails. Her nail art it top notch! She even got me in the same day. She is just very fun to spend some time with while getting pampered. I highly recommend her and this fabulous place to go get your nails done.

Theyre very friendly and work fast! My only disappointment is that often they are TOO fast and dont do a meticulous job.

My nails were super thick and way longer than I wanted. They weren’t the right color but I will say that that was on me. When she was done I realized that my nails were a little longer than I would have liked so I asked to get them shorter the lady was rolling her eyes and tried refusing to redo them. Finally she did it then, she filed them they were CROOKED. So I said I’m sorry but could you make them a little staiter she refused and said there was nothing else she could do. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Though i reported and they are redoing them for free, which is very nice service. But still

When I was there a few weeks ago, they were taking safety precautions like having you clean your phone and wash your hands upon arrival. They did a good job on my manicure.

After visiting multiple nail salons and having unsatisfying experiences, I have finally found a place I love. Ivy is my girl!! She is absolutely amazing! She takes her time and works with care. Definitely would recommend.

Two of us went for gel pedicures. I booked with specific techs online (both highly recommended by a friend), but when we got there no one came to talk to us--they just yelled from where they were working on other customers for us to wash our hands and then pick a color. We were taken to two chairs and had two techs we didnt request. The tech who did my kiddos pedicure was wonderful. He took implements out of a sealed bag, asked questions, took time to really work at the callouses and did a great massage. The tech who did mine, though, was the opposite. His implements were just in his toolbox. I asked if he wasnt going to use packaged tools like the other tech, and he responded that he cleaned them and that theyre the same thing. Also, he didnt seem to pay much attention to what he was doing, looking around when he was scrubbing and massaging my feet, which really felt like he wasnt doing anything at all. Also, when I showed him my phone to show him the color I wanted (I took a picture before we sat down) he kept just taking my phone out of my hands. Didnt ask or anything--which isnt a great thing to do right now. Wed go back if we were sure to get the techs we request, but this experience was disappointing enough for me to look for another place.ETA after The Nailerys response: thank you for taking the time to respond. Might I humbly suggest that you include the information on your website about your process of not honoring specific tech requests unless its convenient? When you require that a customer make an appointment (which I think is fantastic, btw, and appreciate you sticking to it) and you allow a customer to choose a specific tech during that reservation process, you set the expectation that we are setting an appointment with that tech. If thats not the case--which, by your reply its clear its not--please just say that. Manage the expectations so that I know I will be given someone random unless I interrupt a tech during someone elses service to ask for someone specific. It would help tremendously if you had a receptionist or someone--anyone--who interacted with the client in a way that feels welcoming, rather than just someone yelling from the spa station theyre working at.As for having cleaned implements in a specific container, Im not sure what that container is supposed to look like. The tech I had just had his implements in an open white tray in his toolbox. There was zero evidence of cleaner or sanitizer that I saw. Also, he could have explained that. Instead, he seemed put off that I asked and only said that his tools were clean.

Ivy is absolutely AMAZING!! I have terrible pain from an ingrown toenail and she is willing to take the time to “dig out” the ingrown...which alleviated my extreme pain for about 4 months!! Of course I tipped her well for her above and beyond service!!! Just went back again today and the exact same service!! Thank you Ivy!!

The staff is beyond impatient and not customer friendly. They take your temperature, and make you wash your hands but yet the staff takes their own masks off to breathe and touch you after they just touched their mouth and nose.I called to make the appointment and follow the rules listed outside of the building but frankly that doesn’t even work because everyone was walking in and being seen before an appointment.They staff just talks about you and you can tell how much they actually care to work.“If you want your customers to follow rules and be clean, than maybe your staff and building should follow the rules also.”

Took my daughter here and waited for over an hour as multiple people without appointments came in and were seated before us. Appointments are not followed and they attend to whoever they feel like in whatever order.

Everything time I go in to get my nails done, Ivy is always the one that does them!! She is the BEST!!! So good at her job and she always remembers exactly what I like, she is the sweetest lady there ❤️

Stopped by with my daughter and want to share how fantastic our pedicures were and the safety precautions taken by the staff are top notch! I would recommend anyone to come by!

Ive been getting my nails done since I was 16 from Philadelphia to DC and from NYC to KC and I must say that this is the most flawless nail set Ive ever had. This nail salon especially Brandon and his skills are nothing short of amazing. The salon is clean, open and they really take pride in providing excellent service each and every time. I went in for nail repair and some pretty intricate nail art. Although some stinging and discomfort from my nail injury was inevitable, Brandon really took his time to make sure he fixed my issue with the least amount of pain possible. Although it was mid day and the salon was a bit busy, he unhurriedly perfected each and every nail. The nailery has a customer for life.

I love getting my nails done here! Trang is fantastic, she always shapes my stilettos so well and the bottom of the nail even looks amazing which you dont always get with techs at other places. They also have really great covid protocol which I appreciate. This place is my go-to! Thanks Trang 🥰🖤

Horrible experience. Not coming back.

Typically when visiting a nail salon, one would expect to receive care for the nails in question. At The Nailery, you have to request what most would assume to be standard of care for the treatment. This is the first place where I had to ask for cuticle care with a manicure. Mine was performed under dry conditions, expedited, and sadly, with pain (was nicked several times). There was an extra charge to put my hands through the suffering that I could’ve done at home. To make matters worse, not a drop of lotion ever touched my hands. I’m lucky to have received cuticle oil!

Waited for 15 minutes in the car because they weren’t ready for us yet. Walked inside and it’s PACKED. Waited another 10 minutes before one of us were asked to sit down. Once I was seated the water was so hot it burned my feet. I waited another 10 minutes before we decided to leave. My boyfriend had already left before I decided to get up. After 35 minutes we walked out and will never go back. When you have a set appointment you need to respect that and plan around your next appointment. HORRIBLE service and will not recommend this place to ANYONE. Don’t believe the awesome reviews, maybe they were great before covid but they definitely are not worth the time.

The worst pain i have ever been in was not gentle and did not care about hurting me nails were crooked

I got acrylics done at this salon a while ago and wanted them taken off because my natural nail had grown so much I just wanted my natural nail polished. Instead of soaking my nail in a solution to get the acrylics off he just peeled them off my nail which hurts and tore the tips off all my natural nails. My nails that i spent 3 months growing out are now gone. Im very disappointed with their service, I will not be going back.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE NEVER COME HERE!!!! I wish i could give this place a 0 for awful my entire experience was. I had made an appointment for 4 people at 5:30pm 2 pedicures and 2 mani pedis. After waiting for an hour we finally were able to get our manicures which were so rushed my the employees and took a solid of 5 mins. My poor friend after an hour of waiting with his feet in the water never got his pedicure. When i told them i couldnt do my pedicure since it had already been an hour they threw the towel at me. NEVER NEVER NEVER COME HERE. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AWFUL MANAGEMENT

This nail place has a lot of room and can do most anything. Just make sure you get the right techs! Some are definitely better than others. I highly recommend Rose! Any of the female techs do a great job. Only had a couple of issues that were with a couple male techs. Overall, this place is amazing, and I refuse to go anywhere else!

This is the only place Ill go. The nail techs are amazing and its always such good company. They do a fantastic job and are always willing to listen and help expand and complete any idea you can think of to the best of their ability. I have never met a more genuine and likeable group of people. Its truly a great time. Im so excited to see what else is in store for next time!

Please do not recommend this place to anyone! This nail salon does not provide professional nail care. My nieces nails were drilled down so far that when her nails were professionally taken off by my regular nail salon... they didnt even recommend putting polish back on the nails. Pedi-Mani girls night out ruined along with her nails....BEWARE do not go to this place!

First pedicure of the year. Appointment required, wait outside until theyre ready, mask required, temperature check at the door, wipe phone down with sanitizing wipe, wash hands, if you touch a nail polish when picking out your color, put it in a specific basket for them to sanitize before putting it back out, all chairs are at least 6 ft apart. Crazy times we live in, but I happily support businesses that are taking this seriously and doing their part to mitigate the risk while staying open

These nails feel strong and durable, and there are many colors and different gels and powders to choose from! If you are trying to save some money, pay attention to the prices of different shapes :). They were very hygienic and clean as well especially during these times.

Tom did my nails and I am so disappointed. My nails don’t look like I asked at all. I had faith in the beginning but my nails are lumpy, uneven, and the polish is Matte / shiny because of the top coat he used. I’m so angry this is not what I wanted.

Drove from Gardner to come to this place. They are always outstanding. The boss is almost always out on the salon floor making sure customers are satisfied. The nail technicians are very nice and really talented. I recommend KB. She did amazing work and very easy to talk to. I feel so comfortable coming here and spending my money, knowing I will get exactly what I want.

Hat a basic pedi for $27. She did a great job and i loved it. It was a Friday afternoon and I only had to wait 5 minutes. Very busy location bc they have repeat customers. It was a bit disorganized The pic is a week later and its held up. No chipping.

I have been a client of Trangs for over 10 years now. She is fast, efficient and always has my nails on trend! I am a cosmetologist so I am first to admit that I am particular and pay close attention to detail. I have also seen Mimi as well. She is very clean and detailed oriented. I drive 30 minutes away and will not see anyone else but these two!

I went for a walk-in appointment at 6.30 on a Tuesday. The place was busy but I was given a spot with a bit of wait. The ladies that did my pedicure and manicure were friendly, attentive and didnt mind staying past their closing hours to help their last few customers. I tried the dip manicure and spa pedicure, very relaxing and love the pretty nails

In response to the reply from The Nailery: I dont have a ticket number, so I have nothing to email you, sorry.I have never been given a ticket. I make my appointments online and then walk up to the girls at the register to pay for my pedicure.I have given this place multiple tries and have yet to leave there completely happy. They rush their pedicures, dont talk to you but talk to each other, dont paint your nails very well and treat you like a cash cow. Each time I have given a cash tip more than 20% of my pedicure cost in Hopes the next time I came in it would be better service.The environment is nice as far as inside the building and the location.

If I could give no stars I would. Terrible service! Take your hard earned money to someone else. I was put in the chair for a pedicure. Told it would be 10 min. After 30 no one said a word. After 40 I stopped an employee about how long it would be. She asked around, but not one person said anything back to me. I asked for a towel, dried my feet and left.For those of you who’ve had a great experience can you please let them know that good customer service should extend to everyone, not just regulars. Nail Perfection just up the street has figured out how to appreciate each customer. The Nailery should ask them for tips then use them!!
