Jon over at Fat Bobs has helped me since day 1. He is awesome, super helpful, and willing to go above and beyond for his customers. I started my bringing my Jeep Wrangler in when it ran into some issues and Jon helped me get it all fixed up so I could sell it and get my Toyota Tundra. He hooked me up with a new 7in. Fox BDS coil over lift as well as tires and wheels. Im in love and couldnt be happier with all the work they put in over there to help me build my dream truck.

I had planned on a build for a Tundra. Bilstein 6112s/5160s to level. These guys had my truck for less than 2 days installed all new shocks, skid plate, sway bar, trd dual exhaust, bakflip bed cover, wheels and tires, alignment, and step bars. All for cheaper than Toyota was going to charge. I’ll be a customer for life. If that wasn’t enough since childcare pickup time was an issue they delivered the truck to my house. Great customer service. Can’t say anymore about how great they treated me.

Buyers beware. Ordered leaf springs for Chevy truck and paid for order $248.31 with coupon and then get email 3 days later that there was a mistake for the part pricing and shipping and they wanted $236.39 more to complete the order. All the companies Ive dealt with in the past if thats what was quoted thats what you paid and they eat there mistake and correct it after for future orders. Nothing was offered other than wanting more money, typical bait and switch. STAY AWAY

I originally got my wheels and tires from Fat Bob’s and have been coming back for tires ever since. They beat other prices by far and I will drive all the way up here from Lehi because customer service is great and they deliver. Just got my third set of tires from them and will be back this summer to flex on my Bronco.

6 months ago Fat Bobs installed their Predator Strike Force 3 lift kit on my Tacoma. I can say that they do quality work! The lift is still performing great on and off-road. This lift kit rides excellent, if not better than the factory! Much better than other lifted Tacomas I have been in. Fat Bobs also did some work for me on an F-150. On the F-150 they were willing to price match a competitors price on 2.5 Fox coilovers and always did a great job with installation. They are always helpful and friendly when I bring a vehicle in for work. 5 out of 5 times I will recommend Fat Bobs to a friend.

Do not go to this place for any reason! They will flat out lie to your face just to get a sale. And then they will deny lying to you when you confront them about it. They will claim they are better because they are local but they definitely are not. Save your money are go somewhere else!

Super helpful: needed lifted shocks for my tacoma in an emergency on a Saturday. They had them in stock when no one else in the Valley had anything. This should be your first stop for anything 4x4 from stock to custom, they have it!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS. Bought $160 worth of parts from their ebay store and they sent me two empty parcels that only contained this letter and a cup coaster. Put the labels as the items so it would show they delivered my parts. Absolutely ridiculous and if thats how they are when you cant see them I can only imagine what the business is like when you actually show up

I went in there to see about getting a quote for some fog lights for my truck I ended up standing/walking around for 15-20 mins before someone would to even help me. One person at the counter looked at me and didnt say anything have no respect for customer service when somone walks in I get you guys get busy and all but you guys could be like will help you in a min or so dont just ignore the person like there not there come on.. Had a leveling kit put on my F150 after being referred by a friend. They also installed my tires so I didnt have to go through two alignments. Super happy with the service. Must be picky about who they want to do business with.Had a scheduled leveling kit to be installed by them 3 weeks ago. Then at last minute they called and said they were missing a part. ( Mind you I was told they build these kits in house)We have been calling them every 3-4 days to get answers only to feel like we are being brushed off.They have not taken the time once to call us once in 3 weeks to let us know whats going on.

Great shop, really know their nissans, and really took care of me. Even dropped my car off via delivery service free of charge since I live 2 hours away. My only complaint is that you will get major off road envy when you see all the bad a** rigs they have sitting out front. This place was actually recommended by a competitor that wanted to charge me $200.00 more to simply install nurf rails on my 2013 XTERRA. Had my alternator switched out as well. Schedule appointment ahead of time. These guys get real busy. Got it done pretty quick while I waited in their nice waiting room. Cool display area. Good customer service. Didnt see anyone fat there.

Well guys i waited long enough for you to make this right. I have paid over 6800 this last year to have work done on my vehicles. I was happy until November when i went in to have my wheel spacers removed. Needless to say i lost a wheel getting on the freeway. I want some one to get back with me. After several phone calls and texts still nothing.I wont let these guys change my wiper blades in the future. Wade is the only one that said he would make this right.Update I talk to Bill he is attempting to make things right. It will be a long time before i return but things are looking up. He assures me he has made changes only time will tell. Friends and Familia let me know your experiences in the future. I also told they will honor the sons warranty work now. For Bill willing to make things right i will give them a better review.

Took my truck here for an alignment after installing my own lift. After sitting on my truck for 3 days they claimed the bolts on the lower control arms were seized preventing them from performing the alignment and quoted me nearly $1150 to repair. I declined their repair and worked on the bolts myself. In very little time with no special tools I had the bolts freed up. Took the truck to a new shop and had an alignment done same day with no issues. Either Fat Bobs has incompetent technicians or they tried to scam me. Either way they should be avoided.

The men assisting us had a good product knowledge base however, they were supposed to get back with us the following Monday and never did. I will have to stop in and see whats up.

Wade, Bill, and all the crew there are very knowledgeable about vehicles. I had them do a shake down and lookover on my wifes Escalade, they pointed out several issues and gave some professional recommendations. Helped me track down a couple issues I hadnt seen myself before I bought it. Also helped choose a lift for my Frontier. Excellent service, excellent people, and great parts selection.

Staff is amazing, and always willing to help. Had a small vibration after getting some work done. Called and they got me in the same day. Worked until the vibration was gone. Can’t say enough about the work ethic, and caring they show for their customers. They make sure your happy with the work done, and will take time to explain the work they did. I would like to give these guys a better review, but upon further inspection of their work and a few other details, I’m more disappointed than happy.I took our 4Runner in to have the body mounts chopped because we added a larger tire setup and we were getting some rubbing there. I went with Fat Bobs because they had the best price. Even though the guy I talked to on the phone had no idea what I was talking about at first and quoted me wrong the first time.I had to drop my car off after hours but was told that was fine because they have a key drop off. When I dropped off my key I looked into the key drop off and it is so shallow that I can easily touch a key that was dropped off before me. I felt uneasy leaving my key there over night knowing that anyone could walk up, open the key drop and take my car. I grabbed the key that was already in there and did my best to push our keys into the furthest corner of the drop to make it harder for someone to reach... I ended up just leaving them hoping for the best. Fat Bob’s should really figure that out.I was called the next day and was told the job was done but the plastic trimming that was done prior looked uneven and was still rubbing so they would like to even up the trim and get rid of the rubbing. Said it was going to cost $100 to do that. I said ok. When I came to pick the car up I had a quick peak at the job to see what they had done. The words “bare minimum” came to mind. For the price I paid I was expecting a full chop, but they only did a partial chop. Only enough to accommodate the current setup. But if I ever go with a larger setup, I will need to get this job done... again. Also the plastic had only been chopped back maybe 1/2” and didn’t look that much better than what was previously there. Hardly worth the extra $100 especially after finding out that it STILL rubs.When I asked the guy behind the counter about them only doing a partial chop his response avoided the question. I don’t think it’s because he was trying to get away with anything, I just think he legitimately doesn’t know or understand what I was asking. So I paid and left.While driving home I noticed that our “trip” miles were still on the dash. I was under the impression that when you disconnect the battery the trip resets to 0. Surely they disconnected the battery before welding on my car... but after a quick test of my own disconnecting the battery my miles were reset. Which means my battery didn’t get disconnected during the process. Which means the guys at Fat Bobs are ok with the possibility of creating a bunch of electrical problems among their customers cars.Upon further inspection of the actual job, I noticed that the welds aren’t complete, they are pretty sloppy. I also noticed a bunch of welding wire inside of the work area, one piece of wire was protruding from my bushing. The wire had literally burned into the bushing and was stuck there... but again, surely the guys at Fat Bobs removed the bushings before welding around my rubber bushing? But of course they didn’t...Unfortunately I will not return there. I do not trust them to work on my vehicle.UPDATE: First trip to Moab since the job.. tires rub on the cab mount brackets they installed on the driver side (see picture) Really lazy work done by Fat Bob’s.

You know your a valuable customer when you call on the worst snow day this year because your daughter needs tires so your grandchild will be safe and without hesitation they tell you get her here we got it under control. I had a noise in the front end of my 2015 F150 for almost a year. During that time i took it to three different places and all of them failed to find the root cause or didnt want to put forth the effort. Finally took it to Fat Bobs Garage, were the staff was courteous and very knowledgeable. My mechanic (Cameron) took the time to pinpoint the problem and was able to fix it. Happy Customer!

Has been 10 days and I have not yet received my full order from a place that is 5 hours free me. The reason I ordered from here in the first place was to get my parts quickly.

Got a quote on my car to be fixed and drove an hour to drop it off just for the sales guy to be wrong. Ended up being about $1500 more than he said. He tried working a deal out with me but dang. Waisted 2 hours of my day and my wife’s plus gas just cause of a little mistake that could have been corrected on the phone.Make sure you triple check these guys work before going in.They are super nice still! Just a mistake that could have been easily corrected.

Fat Bobs was recommended by Expedition One for my new rear bumper installation. So glad I made the trip up from Vegas to get it installed. The bumper was delivered on time for a Thursday installation, but numerous parts of the bumper were missing. Fat Bobs addressed the issues and resolved them immediately. Going forward, I hope Expedition One will make improvements at their end to ensure ALL parts are included... a 6 hour job became a 1-1/2 day install. No shop/garage wants to deal with issues like this. The team at Fat Bobs is outstanding, a family environment, everyone was so friendly and helpful (BIG thanks to Lexi). I also have to commend Fat Bobs on their best-in-industry waiting room, made a long install so comfortable and relaxing. THANKS!!!

A year ago or so, I used Fat Bobs and had a bad experience. I wrote a negative review. For reasons beyond this review, I had to go back to Fat Bobs to fix a broken retractable step plate on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler - basically, the dealer from whom I purchased the vehicle had Fat Bobs install the plates before I purchased the Jeep, the plates stopped working...you get the picture..I was nervous going to Fat Bobs, again, for reasons beyond this review. Anyway, I was treated very well by Wade and Lexi. They both helped me feel comfortable about doing business at Fat Bobs. The work was performed quickly and done well.As I was leaving, I mentioned to Wade about the issues I had with Fat Bobs before. Wade remembered me and those issue. He was a gentleman because he was very professional throughout the experience. He could have rubbed the previous issue in my face. Not only did he not do this, he and Lexi worked hard to ensure I was comfortable at Fat Bobs and, as mentioned, the work was done fast and well.When someone does something you think is wrong, you have to say something. Had a level kit installed, and these guys were nothing but professional! Had the level kit and tires ordered and stocked within a couple of days. Was able to drop my truck off and they were ready to get the work done. Everything was done professionally, and their parts guys at the front counter were awesome to deal with! Great place to have quality work done. i had my transmission replaced in my 2002 7.3 it was completed in a very reasonable time. i am very picky and concern quickly when it comes to others working on my truck but i have to say i drove away happy, not only because i had my truck back but because i was treated well and taken care of. i worked with Jon wade. he is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. thanks Jon and to the tech or technicians who worked on my truck! ill be in again to have my ring and pinion replaced with lower ratios.

Very very disappointed ☹️ I thought I was making a good choice by bringing my truck to this place sadly came to find out I have received the worst service ever! Not one single guy wanted to help me at the counter!! Not only that but they kept my truck for 2 full days Didn’t care I was with no car looking for rides left and right just to get to work . Every time I called I was told they are still working on “ alignment “. I am never coming back here ever again In my life. nor will I recommend this place to any body. Sooooo sad

It’s been well over a week....still don’t have my parts. I’ve spent over $1500 with fat bobs garage, and I have to be the one to contact them to know where my products are. I’d be really nice to have an update sent to know what’s going on with my purchases. This may be the first and last time I use them. Not to mention I’m in the same state only 2 hours away.

We have had our truck worked on built re built and any other kind of thing you could think of if you have a 4x4 ram that needs the front end built proofed or a lift tires wheels you dream it they do it. Go see them any one of there staff will treat you like royalty.

Awesome continued experience with FBG. First time Ive ever had a vehicle lifted. Wade and the crew made it easy, affordable, and comfortable. I shopped other places, and there was nowhere near the experience level anywhere else on the Wasatch Front. Pricing was is out of control every time when you called to see if the truck was done. the price went up even though we told them to not go over a certain amount. that price ended up going over. nobody knew what was going on poor communication with other coworkers.

Hey, this place is an Off Readers candy store. I wish there was more on the shelf stuff, but understand why there isnt. The counter staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to answer any questions that a novice like me might have. The service staff is amazing as well.i brought them a problem and they fixed it in no time.

We have worked with Josh here to upgrade our jeep. Hes been great at explaining to us the difference in parts and helping us find what will work best for us. We are only just starting the work on our jeep but have been happy with the trips we have had there.They have a comfortable area to wait for your vehicle while its being worked on with coaches and TV to watch netflix. Their bathrooms have always been clean and there are vending machines available for snacks.

I HAVE HAD 3 of my brand new trucks lifted here, Im a 4x4 freak, I can confidently tell you that I will not be going anywhere else for off road equipment! Before I started going to Fat Bobs, I had most my work done across the street at the Young dealership. When they put in the lift kit, the bolts mounting the lift kit to the control arm were only hand tightened. my wife was driving the truck when the lift kit fell. I will never go anywhere else to do work on my trucks. Plus, they are very efficient, never once had an issue with any lift kit that I purchased and had installed by them! The staff at Fat Bobs is way more friendly and easy to get along with than any of the staff at the Young Automotive group dealerships! Love these guys!!!!!!!!
