I bought a truck that had been sunk in a lake, dragged out by its axels, beat to hell and used as a play toy. Needless to say I bought it for the body. I brought it to Mike where he replaced the motor, transmission and suspension among many other things needed along the way. He was honest and told me from day one that it may have issues once it was running. Although, that never happened. It’s now my daily driver and has been for the last 6 years. Absolutely NO ONE else will touch my truck for as much as an oil change. Anyone that has had a problem with Mike or Check Mate as a company, I feel comfortable brought it on themselves in some way. Very easy to get along with if you’re man/woman enough to hear the truth and don’t carry a millennial attitude that the world owes you anything more than you earn.

Went in had leak in engine he cracked cover on head paid over $600 for job after a few days was still leaking pointed finger in my face would not fix . After paying him job not done right
