I was taking care of some morning errands, when I returned to my car only to discover a “dead” battery! I walked to the Meineke Shop and Debbie very kindly called a tow service, at no expense to me. They were very busy with appointments yet took the time to accommodate my needs! Not only were they all very professional and experts, they were very hospitable. While waiting, Both Debbie and Jed offered me snack items, water and numerous coffee selections! I highly recommend this Meineke Shop! I am new to town and I will definitely continue to do business with these great folks!!!

Read other reviews! Wish I had, because same thing happened to me and the others in the waiting room as far as excessive charges. My car needed an oil change and battery cleanup. I was scheduled for Subaru dealership next week, but Im taking a car trip this weekend and wanted to have everything in order before going out of town, so made an appointment with Meineke. During the hour and a half wait, every single customer there was upsold with outrages price quotes for services that they did not originally bring their car in for. The owners were well rehearsed on how to pull on the heartstrings and create fear if the services were not immediately taken care of. In one case, they acted aghast that a customer was not hearing their brakes squealing, because they said all four were in need of a complete replacement. My husband is a retired professional driver and knew that my battery just needed to be cleaned. They tried to convince us that we needed a whole new battery with a 5-year warranty, but we are about to sell the car. Before they even looked at the car, they were already saying we need terminal replacement. The battery is fine. Another elder lady was being talked into getting $1,000 brake job, when new brakes would reasonably only cost half that. And they werent even offering her new brakes, just working on the current ones. We wont be going back there, and have no idea how they got the 4.8 rating.

Liars!!! They told me my car needed new rotors and brake pads . $750 to do the job. Went to another garage with the parts (got them on-line) and they put them on. They told me I didnt even need them. I paid for parts (,I was told by Meineke, ) that my car did not need. Its not like Meineke was hard-up for customers even. They were very busy at the time. Dont trust them with your vehicles. All you had to do was tell me the rotors needed to be turned and I would have gotten significant life longevity out of them. Debbie said we dont turn rotors here. All well and good, but some other garage Im sure would have and ultimately saved me $250. Unlike some, I do understand the functions of most vehicle repairs and would have greatly appreciated some honesty instead of telling me my rotors were gone. We are all just trying to survive out here in this world . I foolishly trusted your diagnosis and am now sorry I did.

Meineke Car Center on State Road 200 is the only shop I will use. Everyone is very friendly and their work is second to none. They are very professional, they fix the problems the first time, always give reliable quotes and best of all are extremely honest. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The place was very nice and the front desk lady was very sweet and the whole experience went smoothly. Until I go in my car to see that everything from my glov box was thrown onto the floor of the passenger side so they could look at my a/c filter. Sure it was a mess but the least they could of done was either not touch it or put all of my stuff in a bag for me. Was very upset to find that in my car after such a great experience!

This Mieneke is over the top professional, everything is explained. Nothing is pushed upon you for repairs that are needing attention. Friendly staff that makes it a pleasure to bring business to them. They are very quick and I will bring my vehicle in for everything it needs in the future.

Took my Escalade to them to check for a coolant leak. They got back to me very quickly about it and told me it was my water pump and a radiator hose. Was still happy with them at this point until they gave me the price. Now I’m aware that Escalade parts run higher, but they wanted just under $1000 to replace a water pump and hose! I was able to do it for 1/3 of that myself and I’m not a mechanic. I had also asked for a quote on possibly changing the struts and they weren’t able to find the rears yet but he said that it was going to be at least $2k to fix those. I’m willing to pay a little more for their expertise but that’s highway robbery. Won’t be going back.

I called and was greeted with professionalism and courtesy. I was a little anxious about getting my car handled as soon as possible. They provided the number for the tow company who came within 35 minutes (the towing company was also awesome). Each employee I spoke with was knowledgeable, friendly and customer focused. They told me they could have it ready before i needed it for work. and it was actually ready much quicker. Meineke made me feel like my concerns mattered and I was a priority. I was having brake problems so went to the nearest garage without comparing prices. They were quick, friendly, courteous, and professional. They made me comfortable while I was waiting and kept me informed about the progress of the repairs. Overall, I was very happy.

Took my sons car in for an oil change, late afternoon Thanksgiving Eve. I did not have a scheduled appointment but they managed their schedule to successfully squeeze me in. The mechanic, Billy, was extremely thorough and even took the extra step of reattaching a damaged lower splash pan that had obviously not been reattached properly at a previous oil change location.I was shown the repairs that had been done, and the owner even tried to locate a replacement part online for later replacement. She was absolutely fantastic to deal with, very kind and very involved in ensuring a very high standard of work and customer satisfaction.It is very obvious that the owners are very hands on people. The waiting room was immaculate, as well as the restroom facilities. The waiting area was well appointed and had multiple well stocked beverage choices available for free to customers.I was in and out in around 45 minutes. I presented a coupon at checkout but the owner, with whom I had a conversation about my son’s military duty, had already applied a substantial discount and asked me to “Thank him for his service.” You just don’t see that level of customer care very much any longer.I usually take my personal vehicle to the local Cadillac dealership for service because of the excellent service provided. I can say unequivocally, the service at this Meineke is equal to or better than my experience at the dealer.I highly recommend this service center for all your automotive needs.

Our tailpipe came off our muffler, and they stayed after closing to fix it. They are amazing and we would give them 100 stars if possible.

I have had numerous repairs on several different vehicles and I have never had a problem with their work. Prices are fair and the work is done in an efficient manor unless waiting for parts.

I stopped in for a headlight issue, turned out to be a loose connection which they fixed without charge. I was so impressed that when they mentioned that they gave my car a once over and noticed I was quart low on oil and that my front brakes were operating at only 20 percent, I was happy to have them correct those issues at a very reasonable price. I now feel safe and confident in my ride and will bring my car back for service from now on.

I drove up with my exhaust pipe hanging and worried about the safety of my family. Their professionalapproach calmed my concerns. The mechanic used his welding expertise and within 35 minutes the exhaust pipe was repaired with a reasonable price.

Debbie goes above and beyond to help customers and make sure they are satisfied. She truly cares about customer satisfaction and you can tell she enjoys her job.

I have used this Meineke for several years, and have always appreciated the professionalism of all of the employees. I feel very comfortable and welcome from the friendly demeanor (and the coffee!). The place feels like a small family business when I go in, and even though they’re popular, I never seem to wait more than 45 minutes or so from the time I walk into the time I drive away. I haven’t had Any issues stemming from any of their oil changes or repairs, so the work is solid too. The prices are roughly the same as anywhere else, but I would honestly be willing to pay an extra five or $10 to go here if I needed to, because I feel so comfortable.

Very clean and welcoming office. I feel very fortunate to have owners who I trust completely. Nobody likes to spend money on repairs so it is essential to have someone you trust completely, and I 100% trust Mike and Debbie.

I needed a flat fixed and they took care of it and called me when work was complete. I had to leave the car there overnight and it was fine with them. Different gentleman was there when I picked up the car. Both he and the first man were very friendly and I enjoyed dealing with themI will strongly consider Meineke for my future car needs.

Very courteous and professional. Had picked up a nail. They removed it and repaired tire. Asked them to rotate tires too. They noticed wear of my brake pads and gave expected life. I was in a nice clean sitting area so decided to get them changed. I got work done while waiting. And left with everything good to go. Fair pricing. Husband/wife owners, I Like that! Was very glad I stopped and got everything I needed done at 1 time.

We use this because of the owners and staff. Yesterday our battery was dead. We called AAA. They gave us a time of 830. An hour and a half. That turned into 900 then 930. We called meineke and the owner came out and jump started the car. Got it to the garage and replaced the battery in no time. We are fortunate to have a quality near by.

They found many of the problems with my car and even printed everything out and told me where the cheapest places would be to get the parts if i chose not to have them fix the problems. They educated me in what the best and worst brands were and told me what should be first to be fixed to solve most problems to make it easier on fixing my vehicles other problems. They were more than understanding with my frustration and worked fast to finding the problems. Very family friendly and understanding.

I was quoted $28 for an air filter change to go with my tuneup. I let them know I had an air filter already and was told this was not a problem. When I received the bill I was changed $38 for changing the air filter with the one I purchased. I was also charged for a fuel service that I learned from calling another location is not part of the tuneup.

This is the best group of people in Ocala you could possibly deal with. I drive 40 minutes to this location because the mechanics they have are top notch and the only people I trust to touch any of my vehicles. And the front desk staff are always very friendly. The prices are fair and the service is worth every penny.

Other places were charging way too much for a simple bulb change, but Meineke was willing to work with my budget and schedule. They fit me in that same week!

I called for a brake service and they gave me a great price when I came in they treated me with respect also when they began the service they let me know that my brake rotor was chipped with understanding under the liability as a business I went and told them thank you for the information and went ahead and fixed it. After trying myself to fix 3 codes my Tundra had. The problem was still there. I had called two other shops for a quote and got text book answers. One hundred plus dollars to diagnose before they could even begin to assess the situation. I called Meieke and got the basic price to diagnose the issue BUT, in addition, he asked what codes and explained their process in detail. I went to drop off my car for next day service spot and they were able to take a quick look to see if it was something quick to fix. After leaving that night they were able to find the issue fadt and get me up and running right away. The entire staff was like dealing with old friends, very relaxed and welcoming conversations. I am already planning my next trip to see my Meineke mechanics. Thanks for all your help

Great experience. Went in for a check engine light. Rather than recommending a costly repair, they gave me a diagnosis and estimate, cleared the code and told me to return if the warning light returns.

I came in for a brake job. I was prepared for it to be over $300 but that’s the best price I could find in Ocala. The staff was very sweet and caring. Even though my son was bouncing off the walls as I tried to control his attention on different things. They even gave him coloring pages and crayons to take home. They were very up front when they realized my brakes didn’t need to be changed yet. I know nothing of cars so they could have fooled me easily. They didn’t. I received a balance for $45 and a rotation and brake fluid for free. I won’t go anywhere else.

They have very nice staff. Helpful with explaining whats going on with the car. They even ran test to tell me everything my car will or does need done to it. They did do what I came to get done after about an hour and a half of waiting while they had my car already lifted. The only reason I gave three stars is because my car had no problem running smoothly with out cutting off. After they finished doing what I brought it in for. I left and got to the first stop light and my car cuts off on me. I have never had these problem before. And I have driven from Mississippi to Florida three times. I took it right back, they did something to make it last but I still have the same problem. SMDH!!!

This company diagnosed and repaired my car very quickly. I was very pleased with the price, and also that they didnt try to sell me any additional services. The mechanic also gave me a little education regarding three small oil leaks that I eventually will need to fix.

The Meineke on SR 200 is awesome. They were able to get my car in quickly and diagnosed and took care of the problem. The staff are really nice and they do great work. Very happy with the service I received and we will use them in the future.

We were enroute from The Villages to Atlanta when our air conditioning died on a 98 degree day. I called and spoke with Chad who told me he would try to work us in. They took us in right away and 2 hours later we were our way with our problem solved. Their waiting area was very clean and the bathroom was also very clean. They were very professional and their prices were very reasonable.

You can tell they actually care. We finally found a place that we can trust. Im just sorry that we didnt find them sooner. 100% recommend and my car is an 06 so Ill definitely be back for my next repair. They actually wrote up what they recommend we have serviced next time. I had been told by a Meineke center in a different state, on multiple visits, that I needed new brakes all around. I was told the same thing by the dealership. This Meineke location showed me my brakes and I am go to go for a very good length of time! The front brakes look almost new!!! Honesty goes a long way in my book and I will return for all my auto needs.

Very caring staff and theyre very detailed. They tell you what is wrong with the vehicle and give you prices before they do the work so you know how much you are looking to spend and can either give them permission to do the work or not. Love this place!
